“I, for one, think Christopher Nolan should be in jail.” Patti winced as the hot steam poured out of the popcorn bag and singed her fingertips. She dumped the popcorn into the bowl and lightly shook it to even it out. “I mean, what kind of person doesn’t even let people sit down on a movie set?”
“Sadly, being an asshole isn’t yet considered a crime in this country,” Weiss chuckled. She kicked her feet up on the coffee table and fiddled with the remote, itching to hit the play button and start the movie.
“Well, it should be,” Yun-hee pouted. “I’d throw Brayden in a cell and throw away the key.”
“That’s a touch extreme,” Val said. “But, also, I wouldn’t stop you.”
“Damn right you wouldn’t.”
“Brayden was that ginger fuck, right?” Patti asked, grabbing a fistful of popcorn and shoving it in her mouth. “He definitely looked like an asshole.”
“Would you please sit down so we can start the movie?” Weiss said. “I’m tired of looking at this menu.”
“Alright, alright,” Patti scoffed, rolling her eyes and sauntering over to the couch. “I know you wanna get to your fun. I wish you would’ve chosen a better movie for it, though. And that’s my table, thank you.” She lightly kicked Weiss’s legs and plopped down next to her.
Weiss hit the play button and smirked. “I wanted something long and convoluted. All the better for my little game.”
“Game?” Val asked, reaching over to the bowl and grabbing some popcorn. “What game?”
Patti looked over at Weiss and raised an eyebrow. “She doesn’t know?”
“Nope,” Weiss replied, “and I’m betting she won’t find out.”
“Find out about what?” Val gulped. “Wh-What’re you up to, Weiss?”
“Oh, calm down,” Weiss laughed. “It’s nothing serious. Just a bit of fun where you try to figure out what the trigger I gave you for the night does.”
“What, another one?” Yun-hee rolled her eyes. “I swear, you must’ve given Val like a dozen by now.”
Val frowned. “I don’t remember you giving me another trigger.”
“You did,” Weiss replied, “and you consented to forgetting about it until after the night is over. Would you like me to demonstrate for you?”
“Um…” Val rubbed her thighs together and blushed. “S-Sure.”
Weiss chuckled and leaned over, reaching out to the service bell on Patti’s coffee table.
Ding!
Val’s lips met Weiss’s before she even knew what was happening. She closed her eyes and hummed softly, holding for a moment before pulling away. She furrowed her brow and stared at Weiss. “So… your trigger just makes me kiss you?”
“Not just that, Valerie,” Weiss smiled. “But we’ll see if you can guess the other thing it does before the movie is done. You’ll have… oh, about two and a half hours.”
“Don’t worry, it’ll feel like five,” Yun-hee grumbled.
“Quiet,” Patti whispered, “the dialogue’s hard enough to hear as it is.”
“Then turn on the… um…” Val blinked. “The… word thingy?”
“You mean subtitles?” Yun-hee asked.
“Uh, yeah, that.” Val tapped her chin. That’s not like me to forget random words, she thought to herself. Maybe the trigger also takes away words from my vocabulary? Like our first date?
“Don’t mind her,” Weiss said smugly. “The only ‘subtitles’ she knows are ‘slave,’ ‘toy,’ ‘plaything…’”
“Wow, that’s forced,” Patti chuckled.
“Made you laugh, though, that’s the important thing.”
“Not sure it counts if it’s ‘at’ your joke and not ‘with’ your joke,” Yun-hee interjected.
“Careful, Yun-hee,” Weiss replied. “Unless you’d like me to show the others some of what you’ve been listening to?”
Yun-hee swallowed. “S-Sorry.”
“Wait, what?” Val asked. “What’s that mean?”
Weiss smiled knowingly. “Let’s just say I got a very interesting message on Patreon a few weeks ago and leave it at that.”
“Whoa, wait,” Patti smiled, “Yun’s one of your patrons?”
“We’re here to watch a film, Patricia.”
“You’re the one who brought this up!” Patti shouted. “C’mon, dish!”
“I have more important things to do than gossip,” Weiss smirked. “Speaking of which…”
Ding!
Val didn’t even notice Weiss leaning forward to hit the bell until it was too late. She wrapped her arms around Weiss’s shoulders and purred, savoring the feeling of closeness and how good Weiss smelled. She pulled away, but this time she felt something. Her head felt fuzzy, or maybe foggy; not enough to make it hard for her to think, but enough for her to notice. “Oh, you’re doing something, alright,” she whispered.
“I haven’t the faintest idea what you’re talking about,” Weiss grinned. “Now, let’s watch the movie, shall we?”
Val leaned her head on Weiss’s shoulder and stared at the screen. Okay, so I’m definitely a little fuzzy now. But it can’t just be a slow trance trigger, can it? What was up with that word I forgot earlier?
The group settled into the movie for a few minutes, but Val kept trying to figure out what the trigger did. Every few minutes, Weiss would ring the bell again, and Val would lose a few moments in their kiss. The fuzzy feeling in her mind grew with every kiss, but Val didn’t feel like she was going deeper into trance. It was more like her mind was slowing down, each thought taking longer to form.
Val sat up, about halfway through the movie. She struggled to remember why she did that, but then realized she had to use the bathroom. She stood up and looked around for it. I know where it is… been here before… where…?
“It’s off the bedroom,” Patti said. “Should be a door on your left.”
“Bedroom…” Val stepped into Patti’s bedroom and stared blankly at the bed. She walked back into the main room. “Um, that’s… not the bathroom?”
“No, Val, it’s…” Patti chuckled and rolled her eyes. “Lemme just show you, okay?” She got up and walked Val over to the bathroom. She opened the door, and Val’s eyes widened.
“Oh, right, it’s…” Val slapped her forehead and groaned. “Ugh, sorry.”
“It’s okay!” Patti giggled. “Honestly, you kinda look cute, wandering around like a lost sheep.”
“I dunno what’s up with me tonight, I just feel so… stupid.” Val stepped into the bathroom and shut the door. It took her until she was washing her hands to put two and two together. Wait a minute… the bell! The trig– uh, thingy! Weiss is making me stupider!
Val ran back into the living room, grinning like a maniac. “I figured it out! You’re–”
Ding!
“…um…” Val blinked slowly. Her legs moved on their own, bringing her closer to Weiss as the fog filled her mind. She sat on her girlfriend’s lap and kissed her passionately, whimpering when the spell was lifted and Weiss gently pushed their lips apart.
“Figured what out, darling?” Weiss giggled. Her smile was smug, but Val couldn’t figure out why.
“Uh… huh?” Val cocked her head to the side.
“You said you figured something out. What was it?”
“I did?” Val furrowed her brow. Figured… something… hard to think… “Um… I dunno…”
“Oh, then it must not be very important then.” Weiss patted the spot on the couch next to her. “Watch the movie with us, Valerie. Unless you’d prefer my lap?”
“Mmm… lap sounds nice.” Val smiled dreamily and turned around, resting her body against Weiss’s and staring glassy-eyed at the screen.
“That’s just mean,” Patti snickered. “Hell, I’d even call that cheating.”
“Valerie doesn’t mind,” Weiss smirked. “Do you, darling?”
“Mind what?” Val asked innocently.
“See? It’s fine.” Weiss patted Val on the head and chuckled as her empty-headed girlfriend purred with delight.
Yun-hee bit her lip and fidgeted. “Y-Y’know, Val looks really cute when she’s like this.”
“Aw, you think I’m cute?” Val laughed and leaned over to hug Yun-hee. “Thanks! I, um, think you’re cute too!”
“W-Well, I mean, like,” Yun-hee stammered, “you’re always cute. Just, uh, when you’re like this, you’re… more cute.”
“Like what?” Val blinked. “Am I… differ… um… weird?” She furrowed her brow and turned back to Weiss. “Um, like… did you… do–”
Ding!
The kiss seemed to last longer than the others. Time in general was moving more slowly; Val’s mind felt like it was getting clogged down in a thick syrup. It took her a lot of effort to remember to close her mouth once Weiss was done kissing her. She only realized she was drooling when she felt a damp patch on her tank top.
“Valerie.” Weiss’s words broke through the dense fog. “How are you liking the movie so far?”
Movie… Val blinked slowly and tried to focus on the screen. “Um… that guy’s hot…”
“…Is that it?” Weiss raised an eyebrow. “All you’re getting out of this is that R-Pats is hot?”
“What did you just say?” Patti asked. “Did you call him R-Pats?”
Weiss shrugged. “I guess?”
Patti stared at Weiss with a mixture of horror and quiet rage. “What the fuck, Weiss?”
“I think he’s hot too,” Yun-hee interjected. “He kinda grew on me once he stopped being in those vampire movies.”
“I think I found him cuter in those,” Weiss said. “But he’s still got some charm. I mean, I’m incredibly gay, but if the opportunity arose, I wouldn’t, like, not.”
“You know what’s a good vampire movie?” Patti thought aloud. “Lifeforce. Weiss, we should’ve watched Lifeforce.”
“What are you talking about?” Weiss asked. “You hate Lifeforce. And it’s barely even a vampire movie!”
“It’s totally a vampire movie! And it’s got that naked chick in it!”
Val didn’t listen to any of this. She couldn’t focus on the conversation even if she tried, and if she were still at her full mental capacity, she probably wouldn’t want to. Instead, she floated in the warm, empty void that was now her mind. It wasn’t exactly the same as when she was turned into a bimbo; her personality hadn’t changed to be more bubbly or sex-obsessed. She was still the same Val as usual, just… slower.
“I’m not biased against Lifeforce,” Weiss scoffed, an indeterminate yet certainly very long time later. “I like Tobe Hooper as much as the next butch dyke cinephile, I just… ugh, fuck it. This night’s gone off the rails.”
“There were rails?” Yun-hee smirked.
“Look, this was all supposed to lead up to a thing where we get Valerie to try and describe the plot of Tenet while she’s all brain-drained, but now none of us are paying attention, and Valerie’s probably too far gone to even form a coherent sentence.”
“Wait, seriously?” Patti asked incredulously. “You really organized this whole night just to do a bit?”
“I’m not saying it was my best idea,” Weiss smiled sheepishly, “but yes.”
Patti blinked. “Wow, you’re a dork.”
Yun-hee sighed and looked down into her now-empty bowl of popcorn. “Can we at least, I dunno, make fun of Val for being dumb?”
Weiss grinned. “Maybe you’d like to join her? I bet that file you left a comment under probably had some sort of effect.”
“N-No, thanks,” Yun-hee blushed. “Let’s just stick with Val.”
“Suit yourself.” Weiss leaned over and scratched under Val’s chin, getting her stupefied girlfriend’s attention. “Valerie, dear? What’s the capital of this state?”
“Huh?” Val blinked slowly. Weiss could swear she actually heard gears turning in Val’s head as she tried to make her brain work. “Um… Maine?”
“That’s the name of the state,” Weiss chuckled, mildly impressed Val could even get that right. “But I’m looking for the capital. It’s the name of a big city.”
“Oh! Um! P-Prism City?”
“That’s where we are,” Patti giggled, ruffling Val’s hair. “But you’re getting a little closer.”
“I don’t think she’s gonna get it,” Yun-hee said. “She sucked at geography even back at the academy. Lemme try something.” She leaned over Patti’s shoulder and poked Val’s cheek. “Hey, Val? What’s two plus two?”
Val hummed softly and looked down at her hands. She held up two fingers, and then two more, and stared at them for a few moments. “Um… f-four?”
“That’s right!” Yun-hee smiled. “Good job!”
“Thanks!” Val beamed.
“Oh, but that’s an easy one,” Weiss said. “Let’s try something a little more advanced. Valerie, what’s five times three?”
“Times?” Val stared blankly at Weiss. “Like… clock?”
“Like multiplication, dear. You could think of it as five plus five plus five, if that helps.”
“Or!” Patti interjected. “You could think of it as three plus three, plus three, plus another three, aaaaaaand then plus three again.”
“Five… p-plus…” Val pouted and furrowed her brow. “U-Um… five?”
“Well, that’s one of the numerals in that number, so…” Weiss shrugged. “Half a point, I guess?”
“Is that good?” Val asked.
“Yeah, Val,” Yun-hee replied. “That’s good.”
“Yay!”
Patti giggled and wrapped her arms around Val from behind. “I gotta say, Yun, you’re totally right. She is really cute like this. Like a little puppy, trying so hard to be a good girl.”
“I-I’m a good girl!” Val blurted out. It was a response that Weiss had somewhat-unintentionally conditioned into her; normally, she was smart enough to clamp down on it, but tonight it was impossible for her to resist.
“Yes, you are,” Weiss purred, smiling as Val shivered with pride. “And good girls like you deserve a reward!”
“I’m a good girl!” Val whimpered, again. “W-Wuh… reward?”
“That’s right, silly girl. But, what should your reward be?” Weiss tapped her chin and pretended to be lost in thought. “Oh, I know! Maybe we could strip you naked and play with you? After all, you’re far too dumb to follow orders. It would be cruel to make you try and think. Better to just use you like a toy, a stupid plaything for everyone to use.”
“Mmm… Yeah…” Val grinned and let her eyes go lidded. “Sounds… fun…”
“Uh, are you sure that’s a good idea?” Yun-hee asked warily. “Did she agree to any sex stuff before you made her dumb?”
Weiss turned to Yun-hee and shrugged. “Well, we’re at the point now where we have a mutual understanding of where our limits lie. I think Valerie would be okay with this.”
“You think?” Patti asked. “You’re not sure?”
“I’m… a-about 95% positive,” Weiss replied.
“About–” Patti sighed and rubbed her forehead. “Weiss, wake her up.”
Weiss opened her mouth to protest, but then closed it. “…You’re right.”
She snapped her fingers twice. Val blinked rapidly, letting out a quiet yawn. Her eyes seemed much more alert now, more present and aware. “Mmm… Okay, I’m–”
“Ah!” Yun-hee’s eyes went wide, then hooded. She smiled dreamily and giggled to herself.
“Uh, Yun?” Patti asked, raising an eyebrow. “You good?”
“Tooooootally,” Yun-hee smiled, her voice dripping with vocal fry.
Patti smirked and turned back to Weiss. “By any chance, did you happen to release a file which tied a trigger to you snapping twice?”
“Um…” Weiss tapped her chin. “Oh, yeah. That’s a bimbo trigger. Forgot about that.”
“Wait, you… you gave me a trigger to come out of bimbo space that’s the same as a trigger that puts someone else into bimbo space?” Val asked.
“Well, it’s not exactly bimbo space in your case,” Weiss said. “But, uh… yeah, basically. I didn’t think it would come up! How was I supposed to know which files Yun-hee had listened to?”
“Mistress Weiss is silly!” Yun-hee giggled, twirling her hair around her index finger. “Mmm, and hot…”
“Well, I for one am very happy with this turn of events,” Patti chuckled, scooching closer to Yun-hee and planting a kiss on her cheek. “Weiss, you thinking what I’m thinking?”
“Two brain-drained playthings for us to play with?” Weiss grinned. “My, I sure know how to spoil us, don’t I? Valerie, are you comfortable with Patricia and I doing what we want with you and Yun-hee?”
Val’s cheeks went red. “U-Um! Yes! Yeah, th-that, sounds… good.”
“Hey, how do we get Yun back to smart mode?” Patti asked.
“Oh, that’s simple.” Weiss snapped her fingers once.
Yun-hee stopped giggling and stared mortified at Weiss. “…Shit.”
“Aw, why so glum? You certainly looked like you were enjoying yourself,” Weiss laughed.
“I wasn’t… not enjoying myself,” Yun-hee muttered. “I just wasn’t expecting it.” She looked over Weiss’s shoulder and smiled. “Oh, I’m starting to see a little problem with your plan.”
Weiss turned around just in time to see the last spark of intelligence fade from Val’s eyes. Val stared blankly ahead, her mouth hanging ajar. A thin line of drool started to trickle out of her lower lip.
“Ah,” Weiss replied. “Well, I wouldn’t worry about that. I can make both of you into dumb, drooly dolls – that is, if you’re up for it.”
Yun-hee shrugged. “Beats watching the rest of this trash.”
“Then it’s settled!” Patti rejoiced. “Anything you wanna say before we suck out all your smarts?”
“Can you get me some more popcorn?”
“Nope!”
Weiss rolled her eyes and snapped her fingers twice. Yun-hee blinked, then blinked again. She let out a giggle and smiled vapidly.
“That’s one down,” Weiss said, turning back to Val. “How are you feeling, darling?”
Val groaned and shook her head. “Ugh, it’s super jarring switching back and forth like that. But I think I’ll be ok.”
“Well, if it helps, we’re gonna keep you in stupid mode for the rest of the night. But, I’m afraid I can’t just drop you back into that space without bringing Yun-hee out of it.”
“Wait,” Val said, “then how would you–”
Ding!
Weiss pulled Val in before she could even react. She held her close for a few moments, before their lips parted and Weiss broke out into a wide grin.
“…Ah. I see how it is.” Val smiled back. “I guess if I have to make out with you, I’ll do it.”
“Question,” Patti said. “Can I just start playing with Yun while you two make out, or…?”
“Don’t let us stop you,” Weiss chuckled. She reached over and held her hand over the bell. “We’ll catch up in a sec.”
Ding!
