Alice, Through the Floret's Glass
Prologue - “So I slept through the collapse of Capitalism.”
So maybe trying to pull an all-nighter wasn’t worth it.
Alice groaned as she slowly untangled herself from the confines of her huge blanket, trying not to kick any of her plushies off the bed... She could barely muster up the energy to perk her head up and stare at the television…
Something about.. Breaking News?
“....it is unclear what this may mean for the future of…..”
“....human dom…..trea… fall…”
Alice blinked a few times, barely comprehending whatever was being talked about… Something about.. Affini? Domestication..? Ugh. It’s probably more war crap. She’s tired of war. Why can’t war just... Like, go away?
She grumbled, brushing white strands out of her eyes, grabbing her blanket and pulling it over herself… She’d roll in bed so that she was facing away from the glow of the television… Hugging her favorite plush fox… God. She’s tired.
“....and now, the weather... “
Yay. Weather. Alice doesn’t care! She’s just going to close her eyes…
