In most tales the ones who has the greatest power and can command tries to think things through. The idea of a ruler who doesn’t think things through is a clever change of pace. It’s inventive and often surprising.
This is a great set of stories. I call this a “set of stories” because many of the chapers are stand-alone. This approach shows the broad flexibility of the premise. I hope there will be more chapters some day!
