07/06/2022 update: Added additional detail to Naomi's description of her backstory, as some readers experienced a bit of confusion with this part of the story.

06/05/2024 update: Changed a bit of the terminology to match later parts of the story, as well as a few small typo fixes.

Drinking from Valerie had been a feast. She was lying there next to me now, eyes rolled back into her head. She wasn’t moving – not exactly unconscious, but moreso incapacitated by lust and the afterglow from being bitten. I had seen it countless times before. And when she recovered, she’d be eternally loyal… my thrall, compliant to my will for as long as I saw fit.

Ah, and people like Valerie liked to call vampirism a curse. Oh sure, I couldn’t go out in sunlight or handle silver without endangering my undeath, and my sensitive nose couldn’t handle even pasta sauce with a bit of garlic, but was that really so bad, especially for someone who didn’t require human food? No need to breathe, no chance to age. That was a pretty good trade off. I couldn’t enter a residence uninvited, but that was rather rude to do anyways, wasn’t it? I don’t think any human would consider that a weakness if applied to themself. Besides, if I really needed to get it, I was known for being quite compelling. I couldn’t cross running water… unless there was a bridge, or a boat. What a terrible curse this existence was.

Oh, and the blood drinking. It had been hard not to consider that a curse for a few decades, I admit, but how bad was it really? Valerie was certainly enjoying herself. I was able to make people experience pleasure in ways they never imagined they could. That wasn’t a curse – I had so much to offer to people like her who thought it was OK to barge in and slaughter our kind. So when a human enters a vampire’s residence uninvited, that’s acceptable? I wouldn’t accept that. People like Valerie were going to have to learn.

Reminiscing and all felt nice, but I was exhausted. I had stayed up far too long this morning – I needed some sleep badly. And now I had a pretty girl in my arms to do that with. I laid my head down against the blood-stained pillow, not worrying about the small mess I had made. It only made my bed, and the girl I was holding, smell more delicious anyways.

Valerie was still in my arms when I awoke, just as the sun was going down, but she was awake now, aware. She squirmed around a bit as I pulled my arm out from underneath her torso. I began rubbing her back. What a lovely shape she had.

“Good evening, Valerie,” I said.

“Good evening, Mistress!” she said back quickly, tensing up.

“Valerie, Valerie, please calm down. You have nothing to fear from me. You're my obedient little thrall now." I kissed her on the back. "Are you feeling alright? I didn’t take too much last night, did I? Be honest. You’re no good to me if you’re dead.”

“I’m fine, Mistress. I’ll be good,” she said. Rather terse now; I almost began to miss those self-righteous speeches of hers. Ah well, it was normal for a new thrall – she was probably just realizing now how instinctual it was for her to put my needs first. But I needed her to regard her own needs with care, too. It was a difficult balance to strike at times.

“Someone doesn’t feel like talking too much. Oh well. Why don't we start easy, then? Tell me a bit about yourself. What do you do? What's your history? I want to know all about you, dear."

"U-uh! Yes, Mistress!" She began squirming around, nervous yet comfortable in my arms. I kept holding her tight. "I'm from around here. An hour away by car. I'm 27 years old. I work at the counter of a greeting card store. But it's just a gig! My desire is, has been, to make the world a better place. To do that by, by ridding the world of…" She covered her mouth, suddenly flushed.

"That's OK, sweetie. I need to know. What have you… done to my kind? All will be forgiven. You're learning your place now," I whispered in her ear.

She sighed, resigned. "There were disappearances in my hometown. A corpse, found with vampire bite marks. No one was willing to step forward and do something about it, so I did. Staked him through the heart after I tracked him down. That made me a hunter. I found another of your kind a year later. A chance encounter at a local movie theater, but I recognized her by sight. I lured her in with the blood bag trick and put a silver bullet in her. And then I heard rumors about the Seagate Hotel, and I found you, Mistress…" She trailed off, crumpling a bit in my arms.

"Tell me more about that, Valerie. How did you know I was here? Let alone my name. Would anyone else be coming after me, dear?” I began stroking my fingers through Valerie’s hair, and she shuddered in pleasure, rubbing her soft skin against my own.

“No, Mistress. The server I’m on didn’t believe me when I said you were here. They thought it was unbelievable that a vampire would be hiding out in such a public place. I told them that it would be easy, lots of potential victims and a lot of privacy if you took key people as thralls. Besides, there were rumors. That’s how I knew you were here. People saw a pale-skinned woman in the hallway who glanced at them without a word, slipping away into dark corners as if she could see in them. Stalking through the stairwell at night. Always at night, that was what they said. Someone even reported what looked like a bloodstain on your chin, Mistress. Someone overheard you talking to someone in a doorway as well. They said you were just whispering to that person indistinctly, and normally the witness would’ve ignored such a thing, but in this case, they couldn’t stop trying to listen, they were almost mesmerized by words they couldn’t even really hear.”

She paused for a moment to breathe. “So yes, that’s how I knew you were here, Mistress. A single report is potential hysteria. This many reports meant there had to be a vampire here. As for your name, I searched through the state registry for women with red hair. It’s well-known that vampires still need ID cards, after all – say, if you wanted to open a bank account or get on a plane. The photo wasn't really you, of course—you can't be seen in photos—but I spent weeks cross-referencing those ID cards with people who had been interred in the last several hundred years in cemeteries across the state and in neighboring states. One name came up in common shared between red-haired women: Naomi Rennt. Of course, you were never really interred, and I was able to confirm that, too, after I did a little digging. I consider—” She stopped herself and winced for a moment, her old instincts fighting her new priorities. “I considered research to be the most important part of the hunt. Know your enemy.”

I spent a moment taking that all in. “Wow,” I responded, chuckling a bit in wonder. “I need to be more observant, and cover my tracks better.”

“Yes, Mistress. If you want to remain safe going forward I would recommend that.” I wanted to be angry at that comment, but Valerie had a point. Having access to someone so skilled in research and so determined would have some significant advantages.

“But you did get one thing wrong,” I said. “I wasn’t interred under that name. You got the wrong Naomi Rennt – my sister, likely.”

“What?” Valerie rolled over, looking at me in shock. Her face went slack as she began to fall into my gaze once again, quite unintentionally on either of our parts.

“Careful now, Valerie. You wouldn’t want to get sucked back down into a deep sleep, would you?” I said, returning to that lovely, captivating tone that I loved so much. It was fun to play with thralls like this.

I yanked her away, though, averting my gaze from hers. It was important that she understood the facts for the time being. She shook her head, dazed, and got this dreamy smile on her face – dreaming of trance and being bitten, I had to imagine. Such a cutie.

“I’ve changed a lot about myself in the last two centuries. I told you this morning, I barely knew who I was when I was turned.”

I paused for a moment. "Sweetie… you're telling me that you haven't even noticed the particular contours of my body? The things that make me different from, hm, the average woman? The reason I might have taken the name Naomi?" I leaned in closer and whispered into her ear. "That I have a dick just waiting to be sucked by a good girl like you?"

Her eyes widened for a moment as she came to a realization. “You’re transgender?” She sounded excited.

“That is what they’ve been calling it the last couple of decades, yes,” I said. “That bastard who turned us got both me and my sister… the original Naomi Rennt. She didn’t survive long, though. He decided that she had failed him and wasn’t worth his time one night, and that was it. I spent a long time planning my revenge on that bastard.”

“Revenge? You can… do that?” Valerie asked. “I was under the impression that vampires were bound to the will of the one who turned them to an even stronger degree than a mere thrall… like me.” She ended that sentence sounding very small. How adorable of her.

“Oh, we are. I could barely bring myself to even think of harm coming to him, let alone doing it myself, but… I found a way. He killed my sister, after all.” I grimaced. Not a pretty memory, no matter how many decades it had been.

“I bought a house, ostensibly for the purpose of expanding his extensive land holdings, and I lived in it. I made it my home. I killed three men and left their bloody remains inside that house. I called him there, but ran as far as I could before he arrived. He went into a frenzy over all that blood. He never had the kind of self-restraint I do. But we still need invitations from one another, is the funny thing. And I was far out of contact range by the time he arrived to give him his invitation. He burned in the sunlight, trying to find a way in.” I grinned, reliving that feeling of victory I had felt at the time.

“Those three men died senseless deaths, yes, and I made a promise to myself to be gentler to humans from then on, in a way he never had the desire to be. But those men died for a good cause – my freedom, and vengeance for my sister. If there had been a hitch in the plan, who knows how many more people’s lives he would’ve torn apart?”

“But yes,” I said. “I wasn’t born with the name Naomi Rennt, but that is who I am. The real me.”

Valerie had listened in awe the whole time, captivated by the story. I hadn’t even been using that lovely voice of mine to its fullest extent. She just genuinely loved listening to me now. “That’s incredible. So in your own way, you vanquished evil too, Mistress.” She winced again for a second. “Not that you are evil!”

“Good or evil, at the end of the day, I think it’s meaningless. I do need sustenance, and many will consider that evil especially because I’m supposedly supposed to be dead. But it does feel good anyways, doesn’t it? Being bitten?” I bared my fangs at her as I finished that sentence.

Valerie whimpered. “Yes, Mistress.” She paused again for a moment. “Please bite me again.”

I shook my head and ran my fingers through her hair again. “I can’t. It wouldn’t be good for you. I already went a bit overboard this morning with all that adrenaline from our confrontation,” I said. “Took me getting my fill to feel relaxed enough to sleep.”

Valerie frowned. “Then, please, Mistress,” she pleaded. “Have that blood bag I brought for you. Though my motive was harmful, I did pick out what I thought you would like most from the blood bank. I know AB negative is a delicacy among vampires, and I made sure it was from a woman. I had a feeling that was your preference based on my research. She was in her early 30s, I think. A voluntary donor.”

I smiled. In a way, Valerie had known me and my interests for a while. She was clearly a person who had a lot of care for others, one way or another. I wondered if the AB negative blood had really just been to attract me to it, or if she saw it as giving me one last good drink before I bit the dust? I could make her answer that honestly of course, but I kind of preferred not knowing.

I nodded. “I’ll go get it. You can watch me drink the bag, and masturbate to the idea of that being you.” Valerie moaned at that statement as I stood from bed and headed for the kitchen. I pulled the bag out of the freezer, still within eyeshot of Valerie.

Her voice trembled with lust as she spoke. She already had two fingers in her pussy. “Please warm it up first, Mistress. You’ll like it better that way, won’t you?” She sounded like she was begging.

I giggled. “Aw, anything for my pretty little thrall.” I blew a kiss to her as I stuck the blood bag in the microwave. Valerie’s head fell back onto the bed as she moaned some more.

“Not too soon, of course, dear,” I said. “I haven’t even bitten into the bag yet. Be a good girl and stay on the edge for me. Think of me… running my fangs across your soft skin. I haven’t drawn blood yet. But you can sense I'm about to.” Valerie squinted and continued to moan, her legs squirming more. She was very hot. I loved to see a pretty girl orgasm at the thought of another bite from her Mistress.

I took the blood bag out after 30 seconds of heating and brought it back over, sitting back on the bed next to her. “Warm,” I said, touching the bag to her naked stomach so that she could feel it. “Just like your blood was last night. Smells delicious. Now, my pretty little thrall, I’m going to drink.” I chomped into the bag without any grace at all, emptying it onto my face, lapping up every delectable drop with my tongue while Valerie finished, wailing and moaning once again. It had been months and months since I had a good taste of AB negative. I wondered about the woman who had donated this. She was probably as delicious on the outside as her blood was.

But I had a more presently important woman to concern myself with. Valerie was lying next to me, panting and reaching for my leg. I discarded the empty bag in the wastebasket next to the bed, licking my lips some more. My face was surely covered in blood, but I couldn’t exactly check. If there was one thing that made vampirism a curse, it was not being able to look at my own pretty face in the mirror.

“You’re such a good girl,” I said, scratching her stomach with my fingernails. "What's it like? Knowing that you’ll do anything for me now, even though you were coming here to kill me just this morning?” I giggled. “I’ve never had a thrall begin so deeply opposed to me. I must admit, I’ve been a coward on previous occasions. You’re not my first run in with a hunter, but the other times I decided to break my policy of gentleness. I slit their throats and didn’t look back. You’re different, Valerie. That spark of determination in you was like little I’ve seen before. I couldn’t just snuff that out, especially when it belonged to such a pretty girl. Do you still carry that determination? It fascinates me.”

Valerie thought for a second. “Determination to help people, you mean? Of course! Beginning with you above all else, Mistress. You’re… perfect. I want to help people, I want to make the world better. But serving you will always come first. I see that now. For whatever determination you see in me, your will is impossibly stronger. I won’t resist it. I can’t. And I see now that I was wrong to ever try. You were never a great evil like I claimed. I came after you, a… goddess, really, and considered myself righteous? No, that could never be righteous, to try and take Mistress’ undeath.” She covered her mouth in fright at the thought.

“Good girl,” I said. “But I still think that determination in you will serve my purposes well. And my purposes are your purposes, aren’t they?” I scratched her head, and she arched her back in pleasure.

“Yeeesss, Mistress!” she said as I continued scratching, her almost going limp and losing herself in obedience. “My purpose is to serve you.”

“Of course it is,” I said. “Now, your purposes… I’m going to need your phone number. Being able to contact my thralls is quite important to me,” I said. I picked up my mobile phone from the nightstand, taking it out of its charger. If I’m honest, I had never understood this thing all that well. Adjusting to modern technology could be a bit frustrating at times, and not often worthwhile when I could just have my thralls do what needed doing for me.

She told me the number, though, and I wrote it down. “Thank you. I’m also going to need to understand that group of hunters you mentioned speaking to. I want to know all about them so I can make sure they’re not an imminent threat by my own understanding. And we can figure out together what you’ll tell them regarding what happened. You’re going to need to make some public statements, I think. You called that a 'server', right?”

I walked over to my computer on the desk across the room, ten years out of date, and beckoned Valerie to join me. “Yes, Mistress,” she said. “It’s a server on a chat platform called Clamor. I’ll help you make an account if you need.”

“Perhaps that would be good, but for the time being, why don’t you log into yours? I want to get a look at what they were saying about me. Even if they disbelieve.” I stood, letting her sit at the desk

“Yes, Mistress,” she said. She went to the chat program’s website and typed in her user information. A list of discussion categories appeared. “All yours, Mistress. As… I am.” She giggled to herself as she stood up, her face blushed. Someone liked being owned.

I clicked around a bit. I had never really gotten a great handle on the internet, but I tried my best. It all still felt so unfamiliar to me. People taking pictures of themselves for all to see as a matter of course? Why, Valerie’s own profile picture was a dimly lit photo of her face. I never understood it. But then again, I hadn’t been able to appear in pictures for almost two centuries. And before that, photography wasn’t even a technology that existed. That felt kind of good, knowing that no organization would ever be able to get ahold of a real photo of me. Only reproductions and look-alikes at best. It had taken me months for me to scope out someone in a 200 mile radius who looked reasonably similar enough to me that I could hypnotize her to get a photo taken of herself that I could use. It had been 10 years ago, when an old vampire friend of mine named Katherine got herself a mobile phone for the first time and begged me to visit her on the opposite side of the country. It had been a whole ordeal to work out, but work it out we did. I wondered how the woman in the photo – her name was Helen – was doing. It had been a bit strange drinking from someone who looked so much like me, but she did taste quite good from what I remembered.

Now, the server – I clicked into the “general” chat and scrolled up. A lot of self-righteous humans with strange and silly names had been arguing amongst themselves, talking about how best to kill my kind. Hunters tended to be a little off their rocker – not just in the sense that they were maniacs who thought we all deserved to die, but also in the sense that governmental organizations didn’t like to formally condone their actions. Official authorities generally weren’t willing to license assassinations against us (they didn’t want to paint a target on their heads, after all) but there were no laws against killing us, either. We were already regarded as legally dead, of course. Random members of the public, these people decided to turn their dangerous form of justice into their own hands, making them quite troublesome and persistent but also independent, easy to pick off, and often misinformed.

Misinformation, yes, that was always convenient. Too many humans knew our weaknesses nowadays through the influence of literature, but many still thought we feared the holy, for example, not just the silver that such objects of worship were often constructed from in past decades. Right here, a pissing contest was taking place between two of these strong & proud hunters about which one of them was more devoted to the principles of their organized religion, thinking their beliefs would protect them. Utterly laughable.

Wooden stakes, too – even Valerie carried one. Not that they didn’t work, but I never understood why humans didn’t try bringing a big butcher knife – a silver one in particular would be horribly deadly, and wouldn’t be something I could wrest out of someone’s hands as easily. It was hitting us in the heart that counted. We lost a lot of bone density when turned; our ribcages were no longer very useful for protecting us. A flimsy piece of wood wasn’t particularly amazing for that, even if it got the job done. It was just what early modern farmers had had the best access to. That’s always how it went. They understood us to a dangerous extent, but would regularly misinterpret the details.

“You were so much more competent than these idiots,” I said, looking up at Valerie. “If you’re going to come after my kind looking to kill, I say at least have the respect to learn what actually works.”

Valerie laughed nervously. “I’m sorry, Mistress, I could never hurt you—“

“Shh-shh, it’s alright, dear. Calm down. Be a good girl and kneel next to me, won’t you? I might need your help here…”

Valerie kneeled on the carpeted floor, looking all helpless and submissive. I patted her head and went back to scrolling.

Two people were discussing how to distinguish a sleeping vampire in a coffin from an ordinary corpse. As if that would do them any good. Many fledglings thought they’d have to sleep in coffins, it was such a prevalent concept to humans. I suppose it was a decent hiding spot – we could be so motionless while sleeping, we really would look like corpses. I guess if someone thought the body in the coffin was actually one of my kind, they wouldn’t want to be pulling the mouth open to check for fangs and get bitten if they woke us. But no, we didn’t need to sleep in coffins. What kind of a restriction would that be? Not all cultures even utilized them. I, for one, found wood rather uncomfortable. I’d take a mattress any day. It had the advantage of being shareable with cute girls.

I kept scrolling until I found Valerie’s announcement of her plans to hunt me. “There you are,” I said, looking down at her with a fanged grin. She looked a bit fearful yet reverent in response to that… worshipful. Aw, what a good girl, finding her place in worshiping her Mistress. I scratched her on the head a bit more.

Valerie had made a very detailed post detailing all of the evidence she had that I was inhabiting the Seagate Hotel, just as she had explained to me. The people on this server were fools, frankly - they thought I would be put at a disadvantage by inhabiting the upper floors of a building since it would cut off escape routes. While it wasn’t without merit—it had been a problem for me just this morning—that would be a problem in any building when the sun was out. As long as the sun remained out, I was trapped inside – but at night, the top floor constituted a large advantage. After all, my kind were quite good climbers.

These people had still wished Valerie luck and asked her to report back with news, but they clearly did not believe her findings. Her last post came off as defiant, promising to come back with my head as a trophy. Grisly. Valerie, kneeling next to me, looked very guilty as I read that.

“Valerie, dear,” I said, looking down at her. “You know what you need to do, don’t you? Tell these people that you found nothing. You were wrong, they were right. I was never here. You understand.”

“Yes, Mistress,” she said. “I can tell them that the names matching up were just a coincidence. After all, it’s true – you aren’t the Naomi Rennt I thought I connected you to. It wouldn’t even be a complete lie. I’ll say I talked to you. You were shocked by the misunderstanding but explained that the Ms. Rennt I found was one of your ancestors. You laughed, and said you’d look into your family tree using one of those ancestry websites. Is that acceptable to you?”

Well, Valerie sure was a quick thinker. Or maybe she had been formulating a plan around this for some time, always looking for ways to protect me now. This girl was a planner, and was always prepared and vigilant to the best of her ability. All lovely traits for a thrall.

“That sounds excellent, dear. You don’t think they’ll suspect the truth?” I asked.

“With a detailed enough account of what I experienced, no. I can keep them updated, of course – the one problem is if they ask for a photo with you, to prove that I did meet with you and that you’re a human.”

“That would be a problem,” I said after thinking for a moment. “But I suppose we can cross that bridge when we come to it. You could simply say that I wasn’t willing to meet with you again; I’m a long term guest at the hotel and a private citizen and I don’t want to be bothered.”

“Yes, Mistress,” she said, slowly nodding in agreement. I could imagine her thinking through all the possibilities. “But I should be clear: if there is no photo, there is a possibility they’d be suspicious. It’s one of the surefire ways to show that someone isn’t a vampire. And trust me, these people are paranoid. Hunters constantly have to watch our—“ She cleared her throat, shaking her head vigorously as she caught herself. “Their backs. They never know when someone they’re talking to has become a thrall, or hypnotized to really believe what they’re saying. Hard evidence is everything in this community.”

She paused for a moment, then blurted out, “I will never hunt you, Mistress!” It was a pleading comment, an appeal for forgiveness.

“I know, dear,” I responded simply, giving her a pat on the head. “And yes, I understand. With the detailed research you posted, it may be difficult to avoid any fallout from this. They will be at least suspicious, so I’ll need to stay on guard.”

“I will guard you with my life,” Valerie said, clenching her fist.

“Good girl,” I said. “I know you will. But, there’s not a lot to do for now. We can come up with a plan for defense when they show us their plan of attack. We have the advantage here. I always have the advantage.” I giggled to myself.

“Yes, Mistress. No one could even come close…! You’d always catch them and…” she breathed out for a moment and whimpered, her entire body tensing up. “You’d make them look into your eyes and obey.”

I only nodded. She looked so adorably desperate at the mere thought of falling into trance for me again. “You've been a very good girl today, dear, but I must ask you to go. Go home, live your life, keep me apprised of updates on your silly little community,” I said. "Oh, and make sure you get off to the thought of me biting and fucking you each night. I like you horny and needy and desperate." I grinned at her.

“Uh, yes, Mistress,” she said, getting to her feet and brushing herself off. She looked twitchy, her face blushed – obviously she was excited about that last order of mine. "This is it, then?"

"Oh, you can rest assured, you will continue to serve me well, dear. I simply have plans I need to attend to, and I need to clean myself off and cool down after… everything this morning." I had a couple of hours before that cutie Sadie would be over, obeying that programming of hers like a good girl. I wanted some time to myself before that; it was something I cherished very much.

"Understood, Mistress," Valerie said, getting to her feet. "I should…get dressed?" She pointed to her clothes sheepishly, lying in a messy pile on the floor where she had taken them off this morning.

I laughed. "Of course, dear. Even slutty little thralls like you need to wear clothes in public, regrettably." What a fun thought, though, having her walk around naked. It's a shame that that would draw far too much attention.

Valerie let out a quiet "yes, Mistress" and put her clothes back on, gathering herself and her belongings and heading for the door. As she reached it, she turned her head back to me and bowed it in supplication. "Thank you, Mistress," she said. "I exist to serve you."

I walked over and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. "Good girl," I whispered. "And good night." I opened the door for her and she left. All in all, an optimal solution to my problems. How glad I was that for once, I had decided against offing a hunter. She was awfully cute, and would allow me to gain valuable insight on the inner workings of that community. Pretty and useful to me – optimal thrall material. Previous hunters had forced me to uproot my entire undeath and relocate elsewhere, establish a new hideout for myself. I was determined not to let that happen this time, and Valerie was the key.

I felt my face. Oof, I needed to wash up. My face was covered in blood right now after devouring that blood bag. When you had no reflection for a couple of centuries, you got used to feeling yourself up to see if you were clean or not, and I definitely wasn’t. I looked over at my sheets, also stained with blood. That could wait… I was going to spend the night with Sadie. The sheets were going to have to wait until afterward.

I looked around my suite, letting myself really relax for the first time since I had heard Valerie was coming. Even asleep during the day, my mind had been racing, thinking about what I needed to ask and do. I realized almost immediately that I needed a shower – I was a bit covered in Valerie's blood and sweat after all that fighting and cuddling and biting. I wanted to be fresh and clean for Sadie.

I went to the bathroom and turned the water on, cold just like I liked it. Heat could be a bit much for me – with my kind’s low body temperatures, we could be quite sensitive to such things. While heat wasn’t deadly in itself, it’s part of the reason that sunlight was so painful, beyond a mere supernatural weakness. Cold and darkness were my forte, when it came down to it. The lights were off across my apartment as usual – Valerie had found her way around using the small bits of light in the room from electronics and using her phone. I had no problem finding my way around in the dark myself.

I washed my body and my face, admiring my own perky tits, slender figure, and lovely dick, small but shapely and very suckable. I had done so much for my own body – everything in my power, really – to make myself the person I desired to be, and I had succeeded. It comforted me, sometimes, to know that some humans might understand me for who I was now.

I wanted some fresh air, so I put my dress back on along with a pair of strappy sandals and headed to the stairway on the far end of the hallway. It was late now, 9 pm or so, and most guests were back in their rooms, but a human straight couple passed me by, the guy raising his eyebrows at me and whistled briefly in my direction, obviously thinking I was attractive. Affirming in a way, but creepy guys like that usually made me want to slice their throats open with my fangs. Not to drink, even – for all I had to say about blood types, flavor tended to come down to individuals, and men just didn’t do it for me. Oh, I had tried – it was what you were “supposed” to do as a female, seduce men and suck them dry, but I enjoyed neither seducing men at any point, nor sucking anyone dry lately. Seducing women, though; that was my wheelhouse. Delicious blood, and delicious on the outside as well. Women were simply where my preferences lied, in life and thereafter as well.

That was the thing, though – a guy like this one wasn’t even worth my time, no fun to look in the eyes and bite and fuck and control. His girlfriend, maybe, she was pretty, but that would be a whole mess to even try and start. Sadie would be over in less than two hours! There was just no point. So I kept walking to the stairs, and they opened their room with their card key, paying me little mind. Not every pale lady is necessarily a vampire, after all, especially if she’s acting like most guests you’ve seen in the hotel. I made my living on walking past people, giving them only a passing glance. Longer, and they’d tell for sure. My kind didn’t pass as humans that easily on close inspection. But usually I could get away with this sort of thing.

I rushed down the stairway as usual. The elevator ran too much risk of being stuck with a group, never an optimal situation unless I was in the particular mood for a snack. I went out the back exit of the hotel, walking on a paved footpath that led out toward the beach. It was mid-autumn, right around the time of year when humans were starting to be less interested in going out to the beach.

It was dark out, a moonlit night, and a light sea breeze was blowing in as I stepped onto the sand. A bit lonely to some, maybe, but a good vibe as far as I was concerned. I had survived an attempt on my undeath today. A breather was warranted in such a situation, I thought. Valerie was a very obedient good girl now and she tasted delicious, but when she had come this morning it was with full intent to kill me. I often had trouble taking hunters seriously since they were easily stopped much of the time, but it gave me pause that if I hadn’t caught Valerie’s arm holding that stake, I would be all the way dead. Not a pretty thought.

On the other hand, Sadie’s arrival was a very pretty thought. I spent the next 90 minutes appreciating the ocean view and thinking about all of the things I was going to do to that delicious-smelling woman.

I made sure to rush back to my suite to get there 10 minutes before Sadie would arrive. I could count on her being on time. Good girls always followed their programming to the letter. It was one of the most adorable things about them.

And sure enough, at 11 PM exactly I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door, finding Sadie looking a bit nervous and confused. Her wavy brown hair was as messy as it had been when I had seen her in the morning. I wondered what she’d been doing all day.

“Um, hi,” she said. She paused for a moment and I just stood there, waiting for her to finish with a little smile on my face. “…I don’t know why I’m here. Who are you?”

I giggled. “That’s alright, dear. I’m Naomi, your Mistress. You remember me, don’t you? It’s OK to remember. Don’t you remember how nice it felt to stare into my eyes and fall into a deep, relaxing trance for me?” I reached out to scratch her head and she froze, her earlier encounter with me returning to her. I saw the will draining out of the expression on her face. It was quite a sight to behold.

“Yes, Mistress,” she said, having fallen back into that adorable trance of hers.

I wrapped my arm around her back and led her into my suite, closing the door behind us. “You’re quite the snack, did you know that?” I asked.

“N-no, Mistress. Um,” she hesitated a moment, clearly retaining some degree of awareness of her surroundings. That was OK. “Who are you, though?” she said weakly, trying to make sense of things, I imagined, trying to figure out why she felt so inclined to obey me and call me her Mistress. “Why is it so cold in here?” She started shivering. I was surprised at how well Valerie had handled that part, actually. I kept my room at 60 degrees Farhenheit, typically, and I certainly hadn’t provided her with any body heat of my own.

“I’m your Mistress,” I said plainly. “Don’t you want to please me? Don’t ask silly questions like that.” I brushed my fingers through Sadie’s hair and she shuddered, but I wasn’t sure if it was due to the temperature or her just being turned on. Then I looked her straight in the eyes, barely visible to her in the darkness but able to bore into her soul nonetheless, and she became very still.

“That’s it. Let yourself remember how nice it felt to give up your worries and stare into my eyes and listen to my voice, smooth and melodic, it doesn’t even matter what words I say anyways because you know deep in that cute little mind of yours that you’ll do what I say no matter what it is I say, won’t you?” I said, gripping the side of Sadie’s head lightly, which she seemed barely aware of. She was hardly aware of anything beyond the depth of my gaze and the sound of my voice, after all.

“Yes, Mistress,” she said slowly.

“Good girl. Take your clothes off, then. I want to see that delicious body of yours.”

She began to pull down her jeans and slide her turtleneck over her head while I stepped over the bed and got undressed once again myself.

Sadie was a pretty lady, much shorter than me, no more than 5’4’’ or so, with wavy brown hair down to her shoulders, skinny but with very perky tits and full hips.

“Come over here, Sadie,” I said. “Come into my arms.” I spread them wide as I thumped back onto my bed, beckoning to her. She walked toward me slowly in that adorable little trance of hers, shivering but looking absolutely desperate with horniness. I tended to have that effect on people.

She collapsed onto the bed in my arms, and I began patting her head. She looked completely bewildered as I pulled her up closer to me.

“Are you…a…” Sadie said quietly, not even resisting but just trying to make sense of her situation, I supposed. I couldn’t blame her. No one would be trying to resist me once they looked me in the eyes, but unlike Sadie, Valerie had known just what to expect from me. Sadie had been blindsided, bound to my will while she was just getting herself ready for the day in her room, or maybe just having woken up.

“There, there,” I said, turning her head up to face me. She looked so helpless and worshipful, like good girls were wont to look. “That’s right, dear. I’m a vampire. I hypnotized you to close the windows in the hallway to keep the sunlight out this morning. You protected me. Doesn’t that feel good, to protect your Mistress?”

“Y-yes, Mistress,” she responded, shuddering in delight.

“Good girl!” I said, sort of nuzzling her with my cheek. “Now, let me be clear. I want to bite you and drink your blood, but first, I want to explore this lovely body of yours. Wouldn’t you like that, dear?” I had to do it in this order, of course. Humans were in no condition to fuck after losing a drink’s worth of blood, either physically or psychologically – especially if it was their first time being bitten.

She nodded vigorously, and said, “Yes, Mistress.”

“Good girl!” I said, kissing her forehead. I laid her down by my side as she trembled in anticipation, then climbed on top of her, pinning her arms down with my own hands. Cute girls tended to love that. The look on her face was adorable, transfixed by my beauty and immobilized by my strength.

I leaned down and began sucking on her left boob. I was great at giving hickies; it was one of my favorite things to do to cuties like Sadie. I was quite adept at sucking, after all, and I loved leaving all kinds of marks over cute girls, to remind them that they were mine. Bite marks, hickies, a little bit of lipstick; they were all adorable.

She moaned and screamed in glee a little, squirming and trying to move closer to me as I kept giving her hickies, giggling all the while.

"You're very adorable, you know that?" I asked, lowering my chest onto hers and cupping her cheek with my right hand.

"Th-thank you, Mistress," she said.

"Tell me something, dear…" I said. "Would you like to suck my dick?"

Her eyes widened. "Yes, Mistress!" she said, smiling a cute little desperate smile.

"Good girl! Of course you would," I said, patting her cheek a little.

I slid up her chest more, my hips straddling Sadie’s chest right around her pretty and perky tits, moving my dick close up to her mouth.

I leaned down and whispered. “Go ahead and suck, dear. Make me cum.”

“Yes, Mistress!” she tried to say, but it came off more as “Yes, Mmmmf!” as she wet her lips and took my pretty cock into her mouth. She was good at this, sucking smoothly and carefully, using her tongue and lips. She clearly had experience with dick-sucking, like cuties often did. I scratched her head, thrusting and moaning myself as I came closer.

Finally I came, making a bit more of a mess of cum all over the bedsheets – light and clear, but it was very much there. “That’s it… good girl…” I said weakly, collapsing onto the padded headboard behind Sadie and sliding down next to her in bed. She had gotten a bit of a mouthful of my cum – rather adorable, I thought.

Panting and looking at me longingly, Sadie begged: “Please bite me, Mistress.”

"Aw, you'd like that, wouldn't you, dear?" I asked, looking her directly in the eyes again. Gosh, she was pretty. It wasn't often I spent the night with a random guest – it was just happenstance due to Valerie's attack, of course. I had needed someone to close the windows, it could've ended up being anyone, really, but it ended up being a pretty, delicious-smelling girl and that made this all the better.

And she had been such a good girl. She deserved a bite – the best way I had to make her cum, better than fucking. With her captivated, staring back into my eyes all blank and obedient and worshipful, I reached for her neck and gave her a nibble, a cute little bite mark to complement her cute little hickies. She began to writhe in pleasure, her whole body squirming and her eyes rolled back into her head, moans of both agony and delight just like I had heard from Valerie this morning as I held her in place and took my fill, lapping up every delicious drop of her blood.

She was O negative, a relatively rare type that I hadn't tasted in a while – pleasantly tangy on my discerning tongue with an unforgettable aroma. I loved recalling the tastes of all the pretty girls I had bitten over the years, no two quite alike. I kissed her bite mark as I licked up the last few drops. She was immobile now without me needing to hold her down. It'd take a while for her to regain consciousness, of course.

I wasn’t sure what to do with Sadie. Not everyone I drank from necessarily needed to serve me as a loyal thrall. The hotel staff served their purpose in protecting me here, and Valerie was going to be valuable in keeping track of those other hunters – my woman on the inside. Sadie here, though? She was just some random hotel guest, ultimately. I didn’t know what she did for a living, or why she was here. I would need to ask, but there was a good chance I’d send her on her way and have her forget the details, leaving her only with clouded memories of a one-night stand with a pretty girl who gave her some hickies and gave her an amazing orgasm. That was often the simplest way to handle things when I got involved with a guest.

For now, though, I didn’t have to worry about that, or about anything. I held Sadie tight and felt her warmth against my own cold skin. She was an awfully pretty girl, short compared to me and just the right size for cuddling, and for biting and tasting and making mine. I loved making pretty girls mine, and they always loved becoming mine in turn, losing themselves to my voice, my gaze, the pierce of my fangs… remembering me as their Mistress forever after.
