"Nah," she thought, "I've already written, like, 10 stories about resistance play."
She opened the computer tab and started to type.
"Nah- I really don't have any more original ideas."
Somehow there were paragraphs.
"Nah- it just doesn't seem worth my time to try and find a new angle."
She hit publish.
"Good girl," the voice said behind her.
She didn't quite know how, but she had made the voice pleased- and that always felt so, so rewarding.
She glowed, utterly content.
