Hey, guys! Alyssa here, your favourite plaything. (And if I’m not your favourite, what’s wrong with you? I rock.) I’ve realised that since Jelly and I started writing both our stories simultaneously, some of you folks may be confused about the timeline, the order to read the chapters, especially with the crossovers (like the brain-cation saga). And we don’t want you confused. The only people getting confused should be me and Jelly, when our Master meddles with our minds. So I’m gonna help you guys out, and recap the timeline of the whole Exploring Together saga. I could’ve done this as a bullet-pointed list, but where’s the fun in that? Still, I’d consider this less of a story, and more of a contents page with added AJ flair.

Anywho, the original Exploring Together story began in May. (Aha, but you’re thinking, May of what year? My lips are sealed. If I tell you how long ago that was, you’ll know how much material we have yet to share with you guys! Suffice to say it was a while ago, though...) Chapters 1 to 7 took place on two separate nights, Saturday and Thursday, over the course of a single week. Then chapter 8, the Mental Montage, covered June to December, right the way up to the New Year countdown (or Richard’s mindfuckery version of it). Chapters 9 to 11 happened in mid-January.

Then we begin the two sequels, which is where it gets an eeny teeny bit more complicated. The first five Continued Adventures happen early in the year, like, January to March, and don’t mention Jelly at all (even though we met her and started dating her during that time), so I’d read them before starting Turning Into Jelly. Her first chapter starts by covering the beginning of our relationship with her (we’re talking Jan to Feb), and then skips to the night we introduced her to our hypnokinkery; chapters 2-4 then take place the next night and depict her first session.

The next chunk of chapters, set in early April, are the first big crossover event (we’re like the MCU of hypno smut). I’d do Continued Adventures chapters 6 and 7, and then either chapter 8 (Danielle’s POV) or Turning Into Jelly 5 next. TIJ 6 and 7 are next, and then the crucial TCA 9. After that TIJ 8 and TCA 10 and 11 take place in May, and can be read in any order really.
