Salza was ecstatic that she had finally been given a name. A name! No longer was she just number ten (out of a batch of ten offspring. All dead but her from various misadventures) she was Salza!

She said the name over and over as she left the goblin camp and out into the wider wilderness to do her first actual serious job. Gathering wood and flint. The tribe had caught a couple of halflings from the nearby village sniffing about and decided to cook them. Salza drooled at the thought of roasted halfling feet and hoped she got the chance to sink her sharp teeth into one!

“Salza!” She said, picking up twigs and looking through piles of rocks to find the perfect flint. “Saaaaalza!”

She saw a bird nestling on a nearby branch chirping and singing and grinned devilishly as she picked up a good sized rock. “Hey cheeper!” She said, “The name’s Salza!” She threw the rock and hit the bird square in the chest. Sending it falling to the ground with a loud, dismayed squawk before it lay motionless and she ran up to it cackling before leaning down.

“And don’tcha forge–”

The bird suddenly flew upwards and into her face. The mass of feathers, sharp talons and pecking beak obscuring her vision as she screamed.

“Hey! Stop that! Stupid bird!” she ran around in circles as she dropped her pile of wood right on her feet.

“Fuck!” She yelled. “Bog hag’s rotten cunt that hurt!” Salza started running trying to get away from the pissed off bird as the feathered bastard chased her down squawking angrily. “You can’t do this to me!” She shouted as she ran further and further into the wilderness. “I’m Sal–Oh fuck.”

She saw the massive sinkhole in the ground but it was too late to stop and with one finally pitiful yelp Salza fell in. Her cries echoing as she plummeted deep into the earth.

The bird meanwhile sat on the edges chirping furiously as it peered down into the pitch blackness of the hole. Fucking goblins.
Salza kept screaming as she fell for what seemed like an eternity. She was too terrified to really think; every thought process was consumed by mindless terror that she was going to hit the ground at any moment and end up splattered all over it. Ohh this was it! She hadn’t even had a name for a whole day and she was going to die!

WHAM

She hit the ground not with a loud thud but with a wet smack as she landed in a pile of… “mud”.

“Ugggh this stinks!” she complained. “What is this!?” she looked up and saw a colony of bats and blinked as the realization hit her. “Oh.”

It was dark in the cave she had landed in. Nearly pitch black with the exception of the very faint beam of sunlight coming from the entrance she had fallen through but this didn’t Salza that much. She was a goblin! And goblins could see in the darkness!

She sat up and groaned, rubbing her back. The “mud” had dampened her fall but she was still seriously hurt from the impact. Her right arm was hanging limply at her side and when she tried to move it she was met with searing pain. But it wasn’t a big deal to her. She was left handed and the tribe’s doc could fix her right up!

She got to her feet and stumbled forward looking around. The cavern she’d fallen into was nothing but bat shit and more bat shit. But there was an opening not too far from her leading further into the cave system where she could hear the sounds of water. Which meant maybe it led to the way out!

She walked forward grunting in pain as her arm flopped uselessly against her side. She ignored it. Instead muttering one phrase over and over again as a mantra to keep herself going.

“I am Salza.” She said, “I am Salza.”

She managed to get through the tunnel but fell down to her knees. Damn it! She was… she was supposed to be better than this! She was Salza! Her destiny was to be the greatest goblin who had ever lived! A legend! A goblin who was… was…

Dying alone in a cave full of bat shit.

She tried to crawl to the stream that had to only be a few feet away from her but her body was starting to give up. Unbearable pain radiated from her ruined arm into her entire body and she could feel the world spinning, growing faint. She was going to pass out!

She shook her head and groaned. She wasn’t going to pass out! She was going to get the hell out of this cave! She ran forward not paying any heed to what was in her way as she repeated her mantra over and over in a state of increasing delirium.

“I’m Salza! I’m Salza! I’m Salza! I. AM… WOAH!”

She saw the underground lake but was moving too fast to stop and for the second time today she plunged right into danger as she ran right over the edge and right into a raging river. “Shit!” she screamed as she was swept away by the current. “I can’t swim!” she tried to stay above the water to little success as water filled her mouth and nostrils.

The world went dark as she was swept further away.

“Urrrgh” Salza moaned as she opened her eyes. “Where the fuck am I now?” She said her body was freezing and almost completely numb. Salza didn’t know the word hypothermia (she didn’t know a lot of words, really) but she did know it wasn’t good if your entire body felt like it was being stabbed with sharp needles.

But at least she wasn’t covered in batshit anymore.

“Damn it.” she groaned. She was soaked through completely and her clothes felt like they weighed a ton. But despite that she managed to look around.

She could see something red glittering just off in the distance like a sparkling star on a clear summer night. That part didn’t interest her. Stars were stupid. But it looked like there was gold in there!

Her body protested but turned and looked downwards. It looked like she had washed further down in the cave. Who knows how far. And had only survived her fall in the lake by sheer, dumb luck.

But of course she was lucky! She was Salza!

She looked back at the cavern with the shiny objects and mustered the last of her strength lifting herself off the ground with the aid of a nearby stalagmite as leverage using her good hand. She groaned. Her body did not like this. It just wanted to lie down and die but Salza was stubborn and she wanted to see what was in that cave that was so shiny.

“Heh…” she grunted as she stumbled forward, her legs shuffling and nearly tangling together as she lurched forward into the cave.

CRUNCH!

“Huh?” She looked down and saw the cave was filled with bones. Some human, some elf, but most looked to be… gnoll? What were gnolls doing here?

She ignored the bones for now and moved further in and saw a massive gnoll skeleton collapsed on the floor. Its bones twisted and contorted in what must have been a painful death as one of its large gnarled hands reached for…

Salza saw the glimmer of red again and moved cautiously towards the outstretched arm. Her body was trembling and she was about to collapse but she had to see what that red glimmer was. She stopped right in front of the gnoll’s skeletal fingers and with some effort on her part brushed aside the dust and rocks to find…

“Ohh that’s pretty.” Salza said as she picked up the necklace. The large diamond in the center was almost pitch black almost like a piece of the night sky itself. But there was a few, red glimmers in it that were so bewitching and gorgeous.

“This is what you wanted, huh?” She said, her voice was getting coarse. A bit slurred as she reached her absolute limit but she still had the strength to kick away the gnoll’s outstretched arm being met with a dry crunch as it turned to dust instantly. “Too bad!” she laughed swaying side as she held the necklace up with her good hand. “Finders keepers! Heh heh!”

She draped the necklace around her neck. If she was going to die here at least she’d die wearing something so gorgeous! Maybe people would think she was the one that killed all these gnolls and people too!

The necklace started to coil around her neck but she didn’t feel anything due to the numbness that still wracked her body.

Salza plopped on the ground with a groan accompanied by another loud crunch and puff of dust as she sat on another pile of bones. She wished she knew how to spell her name. Maybe she could have written her name here so people would at least know who she was but…

The necklace squeezed tighter this time drawing a few droplets of blood and even despite the numbness Salza did notice that when she saw the droplets of red hit the floor.

“Wha–!?” She said, “Hey! Cut it out!” She reached up with both hands to try and take it off only to blink when she noticed her right hand was actually moving! She held it up to her eyes and wiggled the fingers and grinned. “Oh ho! So you’re a healin’ necklace, huh?” she said. “That why furbrain over there wanted ya?” she turned to the giant gnoll skeleton. “Well, it's Salza’s now!” she kicked the skull and cackled as it collapsed into dust leaving only a few sharp canines behind.

She could feel the pins and needles fading as the numbness in her body vanished and she laughed harder verging on hysteria. Such relief! She wasn’t going to die after all!

She looked down at her soaking wet clothes. She’d need to build a fire or something to dry off but–uurk!

Her body spasmed and she gasped in shock clutching her chest as the necklace began to glow a dark crimson and vibrate violently, the thorns on the digging even deeper into Salza's neck as it tightened around her like a python.

“Stop that!” Salaza screamed as he body trembled. She once again reached for it with both hands intent on ripping it off and tossing it aside but the damn thing tightened even harder threatening to strangle her as it cut off her airways!

She released it and was met with the necklace uncoiling just enough for her to breathe. She stepped backward panting as she felt the spasming start to focus on her chest. “Wh–” she clenched her chest gasping as she felt her skin starting to painfully stretch and groan as her tunic grew tighter and tighter around her chest.

“Oi!” She squealed. “My tits!”

Salza wasn’t exactly stacked. In fact, she was flat chested and never really thought about them all that much. Why would she? She was a hunter! Warrior! Fighter! She didn’t need big tits for that! Leave those to the elf bimbos out there!

“Ohhh fuuuuuck!” She cried out as she clenched her chest. Her tits twitched, then grew as her breasts went from non-existent to a tiny handful. Then a handful and oh no

“Too big!” She screamed, her spine protesting as she struggled to stand straight. She wobbled in place waving her arms side to side as she tried to not fall right on her face. Her tits were truly massive now. Bigger than her head! She looked ridiculous! She couldn’t even stand straight now! Let alone walk!

Her tunic was tearing apart at the seams. Threatening to split open and spill her tits out as the vibrating necklace plunged deeper and deeper and into her expanding cleavage.

“St-stop!” She begged trying to look down but unable to see anything but a mountain of green flesh blocking everything. “My back can’t–”

She felt something invisible grab her by the head and then start pulling roughly as she screamed in terror. It tugged and she grunted in pain. Then tugged harder and she cried out. Then…

CRACK!

She felt her spine popping as the vertebrae separated. She screamed louder as she was pulled even harder and harder being stretched out as her tendons groaned and bones snapped.

She was getting taller as the force pulled her inch by excruciating inch. Salza could only pant now. Her eyes rolled wildly in pain as she was stretched upward. Time passed. Salza couldn’t tell how long it could have been seconds, minutes, hours or even days. Every so often the silence of her transformation was interrupted by Salza grunting, a loud pop of bone, or the tearing of fabric as she grew from a small goblin to a fairly tall woman.

Tall but with terrible proportions. Her legs were still too bulky, her torso still had her goblin proportions and her arms were still short stubby goblin arms and her head was too big. The massive breasts jutting out of both sides of her added to her ridiculous look.

Her legs were shaking and trembling, she swayed unsteadily like a newborn foal as she groaned in pain. Her body was on fire. Torn tendons and twisted bones screaming in agony as she felt her body continue changing.

She felt a powerful vise on both sides of her waist and groaned as it tightened and tightened her body screaming in protest as her waist grew smaller and smaller.

Her legs finally gave out and she collapsed on her hands and knees. Groaning as her body started to steam, the vibrating between her tits intensified as she panted, tongue hanging out and eyes staring forward blankly

Her hair started to wither, and then fall out. First in small strands and then in large clumps as her head twitched wildly. Bones popping and cracking as her skin started bubble and then melts. Big, fat drops of green liquid dripped onto the ground as she gurgled and moaned.

Her face started to melt like wax and sloughed off. Hitting the ground with a loud wet smack as she continued to convulse. Body twitching and writhing she continued to seemingly melt. Her arms started to melt, then tear like a rotten potato sack exposing faint hints of lime green skin underneath the putreying mess of Salza’s snot green skin.

She threw the remnants of her head back and let out a wet gurgle that slowly turned into a feminine moan as the dripping remnants of Salza’s old face fell away to reveal a beautiful elven face with gorgeous lime green skin with blank white unstaring eyes.

More tearing sounds as her arms fully split open exposing two supple lime green arms and hands with perfectly manicured and red nails. The fingers twitching and flexing.

She groaned her voice no longer the brutish and crass voice of before. Now it was melodic and mesmerizing as she gasped and coughed. Her old scalp burst open like a rotten melon as thick, luxurious dirty blonde hair erupted forth and began to style itself as it grew into a shoulder length and voluminous cut that was to die for.

Her feet ripped open exposing a pair of immaculate and stylish black high heels. Her legs following suit and splitting apart to expose very supple and slender lime green legs with a hint of muscle and support.

Salza coughed, face still twitching and convulsing wildly as the finishing touches started to happen. Her torso sloughed off clothes and the goo that used to be her skin hitting the ground with the loudest splat yet. Exposing her new perfect breasts and body clad in a very tight and seductive black dress.

And throughout it all her mind was on fire. Rewiring itself as her very soul screamed in agony as she was reforged into something much more powerful than a mere goblin.

The necklace continued glowing a dim red but the vibrating stopped leaving only Salza to gasp and retch and pant in the remains of her old self.

Her eyes rolled back down showing off a pair of cold, dead blue eyes that slowly grew more alert as her wits finally returned to her.

“What…” She licked her lips and tasted a hint of lipstick and gloss. A taste completely foreign to the goblin as she blinked and stood up on shaky legs like a newly born calf. “What was…”

She looked down and saw the remains of skin, hair and clothing that used to be her and with shocked eyes backed away heels clacking as she nearly fell right back on her ass. “Is that me!?” she said looking down at the mess. “But I’m…” she raised a hand to her face and stared in awe at the smooth, perfectly manicured and beautiful hand in front of her. She flexed and wiggled her fingers and then looked back down at the mess.

Then down at her breasts and the black dress she was wearing right down to the high heels she was wearing. She stepped back some more. It didn’t seem right for that mess to sully such good shoes…

“What the fu…” She paused. She shouldn’t swear it was so… unladylike to do that. “What is this?” she said, correcting herself. Her voice was refined, elegant, each consonant of every word was elucidated perfectly. No more brutish accent for her!

She… she needed a mirror. Of course there wasn’t one in this charnel house of a cave but maybe…

A mirror appeared right in front of her and she gasped. Backing away. “How did I–” she saw the figure staring back at her in the mirror and her jaw dropped. A gorgeous lime green elven creature stared back at her. Perfect, full pouty lips, cold blue eyes…

She reached up and touched one of her ears. No longer were they big pointed ears, they were small pointed ears that looked oh so sexy in her reflection.

She looked down at her breasts and could resist a little squeeze.

“Oh!” She drew her head back and gasped in surprise at how sensitive they were! How soft… she fondled them some more. She wasn’t wearing a bra and she feel her nipples rubbing against the fabric of the dress and she had to do it.

She tweaked her nipple with two delicate, graceful fingers and moaned loudly. “Oh yes!” She gasped as the electrifying touch pulsed through her body. She wanted to touch herself more! Really get to know herself but… but…

It wasn’t suitable for a lady to do this.
With hesitation she stopped groping herself and flicked her hair back with one hand and posed some more. She felt… powerful. Very powerful! It felt like her body would explode (again) from the power she felt at her very fingertips. And she felt so smart too! In fact…

She leaned forward and sighed deeply with a deep sexy moan that would give anything with a pulse goosebumps. Once the mirror was appropriately foggy she started writing with her finger and then leaned back with a devilish smirk. She had written down a word on the mirror! The most important word in the world!

Her name!

It was exhilarating to be so smart! The world from before felt so dim and lifeless in comparison but now she felt like she knew so much more now!

Like how she had summoned this mirror from thin air. Did that mean?

“I can do magic?” She asked herself, turning to the pile of green goo and dried out bones she had just been at. She focused with that same devilish grin and snapped her fingers.

The bones ignited like dry kindling as a powerful flame incinerated them with a loud crackling pop! Salza laughed.

“Oh my!” She said, laughing. A chuckle at first then more maniacal as she realized how truly powerful she was now. She knew magic! No one in her tribe knew magic! But she did!

She snapped her fingers again and the flames extinguished themself. She cackled harder. She was no longer just a lowly goblin gatherer; she was a truly powerful being worthy of the name Salza!

She looked around at the drab cave and scoffed. It was so stuffy in here! She didn’t belong here! If she could do magic why not just teleport herself out instead of trying to walk out like a lowly creature?

She closed her eyes with a smirk and focused. Picturing a clearing near her tribe's camp and snapped her fingers.

—--

The bird that had chased Salza down the sinkhole was chirping happily. She hadn’t just defeated one of the goblins that had intruded upon her woods. It had found several tasty worms! A perfect ending to the day for the victorious–

There was a loud crack, followed up by a loud explosion whose shockwave sent trees toppling with a loud crash. The bird had only a few seconds to think WHAT IS HAPPENING before the shockwave reached her and she dropped dead without making a sound. She was followed by dozens of other birds falling out of the sky as a fiery crater appeared in the center of the explosion.

Salza emerged from the smoke and fire and looked down at the dead bird at her feet. Kicking it away with disgust as she surveyed the damage she had caused with her spell.

“Good thing I didn’t choose the camp..” She said, brushing her hair aside before moving onto more important matters. She could hear the sound of her tribe panicking in the distance and grinned. Good. Let them come here. It was time there was a new change of ownership in her tribe. Why should she! Lady Salza herself! Take orders from some lowly chieftain that couldn’t even use magic?

She started walking, swinging her hips side to side as she went to meet her former tribe and show them who was really in charge now and why wouldn’t she be?

She was Salza!
