"Is this your girlfriend?" Asked a friend of Leelah's. She was a second-year, a tall delicate looking angel with soft downy wings the color and almost the visual texture of pristine snow freshly fallen, long slender limbs, and an unusually tall torso for her height (which was something like six foot one, from the looks of it). Her hair and skin and clothes, too, were all paper-white just like her wings. The only exceptions to that color scheme were her dull red lips, her black pupils, and the blood-red irises around them. Her wings, long and delicate and far more flexible than the ones currently stashed in Lilac's shoulder blades, flitted playfully. Leelah gave a soft smile and giggled.

"Yup! This is my girlfriend Lilac. Lilac, meet Snow!" Leelah posed like her friend Snow was a door she was presenting to a contestant in a game show. Lilac smiled a little bit and nervously nodded along with her girlfriend. Unsure if that was enough, she also waved a little bit for good measure.

"Hi, Snow. I'm Lilac." Lilac had never met an angel in person before. She felt some kind of pressure from within herself in response to their presence. Was it like the one she was used to, with that cross? No, it wasn't quite like that, this was definitely more of a reaction than it was any kind of inherent magical effect coming from an outside entity. Snow giggled herself and smiled with a friendliness well befitting her name, plus a warmth that very much wasn't.

"Blushing, are you?" Asked Snow. "Never met a succubus so taken with me so quickly, and I must say, I'm well and truly flattered." Her wings popped up and out just enough to flutter. A cloud of sparkling particles, tiny and white, fell freely from them as they did. Was that where she got her name from, Lilac wondered?

Wait a minute, was she blushing? Oh god, she absolutely was. Why was she blushing like this? They hadn't even flirted with her- Leelah wasn't even flirting with her!

"See! Isn't she adorable?" Leelah bragged with obvious pride and glee. She shlooshed across the floor in an instant and threw her arms tight around Lilac, which made the demon blush even harder. Lilac felt her wings struggling to break free but forcefully repressed that urge. "Gosh gosh I love you so muuuuch Lilac I can kiss you here!" She planted three heavy kisses on Lilac's left cheek in quick succession. Lilac's face turned absolutely crimson. Her tail threatened to burst free of its own accord, but she stopped it. "Lilaaaaac," Leelah moaned in a low, disappointed, worried whisper. She squeezed her girlfriend's body tighter against her own.

"Hey, is something wrong?" Snow asked. Her face crunched with worry and her eyes trained themselves squarely on Lilac's face. Could she see how much effort Lilac was putting into this, or did Lilac just look that stressed? "You're lookin pretty rough there, buddy. Are you hurt, dizzy, feeling sick? I can help with that-"

"I'm just-" Lilac stammered, "feeling kind of off, that's all. Could we have a seat for a spell?"

"Of course, dear," purred Leelah. She moved by gliding across the floor and in a moment deposited Lilac into a chair. "Do you need water, maybe? We've been outside for a while…"

"Water sounds good, yeah," Lilac muttered. Leelah nodded, kissed her head, then completed dissolved into an amorphous blob and rocketed off like a bullet. Snow watched her leave with a chuckle and walked over next to Lilac. The succubus was seated in a chair at an octagonal table with an umbrella in the center.

"Oh…oh dear," mumbled Snow, "that's no good, not at all."

"What is it?" Hissed Lilac, her tone far sharper and more afraid than she'd intended. Snow reached over and silently turned a crank, which opened the umbrella. Then she muttered some kind of spell and waved a single finger about, its tip encased in a glowing bulb of yellow light which left neon trails as it moved. The light above them shuddered and twisted under Snow's influence and the shade cast by the umbrella somehow, impossibly, bent to protrude in the exact opposite direction from where it should have. This put it directly on top of Lilac.

The relief was immediate but extremely small. Lilac let a long, shaky sigh escape haphazardly from her mouth.

"You shouldn't be dressed like that in this weather," Snow said. Her tone implied that it was advice and a warning, rather than criticism or an insult. "Sun's out. You're a succubus, wearing normal clothes is normally fine, but doing that while also staying in the sun? It must be dreadfully uncomfortable too, no?" Lilac rolled her eyes.

"I have to. I'm in respectable company."

"Lilac, your girlfriend hasn't worn clothes since you arrived here." Lilac felt herself convulse with laughter and shock; no doubt she would spit out her drink if Leelah had brought it to her already. "You can just make an illusion of clothes and as long as you don't interfere with it for kink stuff in public it's fine." Lilac opened her mouth to argue but Snow flapped her long, pretty, delicate wings at her. The sparkly flecks floated off onto her body, tingly and gentle and…

And cool.

Lilac couldn't stop herself from throwing her head back and letting out a sigh-moan of delight as her body-which she hadn't realized was so uncomfortably heated- cooled down. The pressure in her head lessened considerably as well. Just a bit of her horns slid out of their hiding place in her forehead without her noticing. Between the shade and these wonderful sparkles drifting gracefully through the air and coming to rest in soft inviting pinpricks delicately landing on her skin…Lilac relaxed quickly. Her breathing slowed to a deep, lazy pace and she slumped contented in her chair. She hadn't realized that her clothes felt stuffy and itchy, and now she was becoming acutely aware, but the glittery flecks were getting into the space between those clothes and her skin, and the sensation was soothing. The clothes felt less tight. The itching, the suffocating sense of dry indifferent pressure, those various unpleasantries faded as the sparkles gently chased them out.

Lilac sighed again, longer and shakier this time. Her entire upper body shuddered as the noise travelled up through it, along her windpipe, exited her mouth. Snow smiled gently and leaned over the succubus with curiosity in her rich red eyes. She scanned Lilac over with them and made sounds of concentration to herself as she did. These little noises were not loud enough to catch Lilac's attention, nor even loud enough to register to the demon in her current state of euphoric relaxation.

A gigantic globule of slime soared in an arc and transformed in midair. The mass tightened, changed colors, adopted shapes and details like a slab of stone being carved down into a sculpture in mere seconds. By the time the mass of gel made contact with the floor, Leelah had fully taken on her human-like facade, clothes and all. She hit the ground running and arrived next to Lilac within seconds, holding a water bottle in her hand.

"Here," insisted Leelah as she leaned over, "have a drink of this." She opened the bottle and took it to Lilac's mouth. With one hand she guided Lilac to point her head appropriately, and then she poured some of the cool refreshing liquid into her girlfriend's mouth. Lilac lazily but eagerly gulped it down. "She already looks like she's doing better!" Leelah cheered to herself, neither intentending to say it out loud nor at all cognizant that she had done so. "There there, sweetie, poor thing, I've got you…" she began to rub the back of Lilac's head gently and let Lilac gulp down the rest of the water. Then she stood up and wiped at her forehead with the back of her hand…not that there was any sweat to clear it of.

"I think she's dressed too heavily to be spending so much time in the sun, what with her being a succubus and all," Snow said to Leelah. Her wings wiggled, moving in more wavelike patterns than even a bird's appendages would be flexible enough to permit. Leelah frowned and made a low, rumbling noise. This sound- the sound of Leelah pouting- was enough to dislodge Lilac's mind from its dreamy half-trance state. Lilac sat up, her eyes sharp and alert, and she immediately scanned the area to see what was wrong. Then she realized in short order that the most likely culprit was herself.

"You said you would dress liiiiight, Lilac!" Leelah chastised with her arms pinned to her sides. She was worried and upset…understandably so. Lilac found herself grateful she didn't have her tail out, because it would definitely droop or twist into a coil or something.

"I'm sorry, I…I did!" Lilac insisted. "T-shirt and thin dress pants!"

"Wait, that's not an illusion?" Asked Leelah, her tone shifting to confusion. "Do you…not have one up?"

"She doesn't," said Snow. "I checked earlier, when she first sat down."

"Hey," Lilac objected with her face blushing heavily, "don't- don't do that! What if I was naked underneath!?"

"You would min-" Leelah started to ask but Snow raised a wing to shush her. It was a soft wing, a pretty wing, and it felt…very uncomfortable to have in one's mouth. It was like having cotton balls tossed in there while you were talking. She stepped away and "huuulppbtbluhbleh!" spat and wiped at her mouth to clear it.

"S-sorry," apologized Snow, looking sheepish. "Didn't realize you were standing…so close- anyway-!" She turned to face Lilac. "Don't worry, I didn't actually do anything that would let me see through it, just to clarify whether one was there or not. Okay?"

"Kayy," Lilac complied reluctantly. Her eyes weren't watching Snow…probably because Leelah's awkward flailing was much funnier. Speaking of, Leelah finished with that a few seconds after Lilac spoke, and then the slime girl returned to the conversation.

"Anyway!" Leelah yelled more to gather attention than to regain her composure or dignity, "I have class soon so I gotta go, but I don't really wanna…leave Lilac right now."

"So you wanna ask if I'll watch her?" Asked a smiling Snow.

"I was actually gonna ask if you guys would accompany me while I cut class and take a nap," said Leelah with a cheeky grin.

"Nope," objected Snow, "well, uh, that can be her decision I guess, but-"

"Go to class Leelah," Lilac chuckled, "or I'll tell Elbert."

"Why Elbert?" Asked Leelah, confused but cocky.

"Cause telling your mom would be cruel," Lilac asserted.

"Oh," Leelah said, "that makes sense. I guess- yeah, I'll be going. Get Lilac back to her dorm okay?"

—---------

Lilac collapsed into her bed. Now that the issues caused by her clothes had been brought to her attention, it was suddenly impossible to ignore it. Had she stayed indoors this would have been manageable. Perhaps it might have even felt nice. But as things stood, it was suddenly like being covered in ants. Coming inside where there was air conditioning helped a little bit, and after a few minutes without the sun on her body her discomfort lessened drastically, but even in its weakened form the discomfort was still omnipresent and irritating.

"You can change if you want," said Snow sitting on her knees by the door. "I won't look. I can wait outside if you want." Lilac didn't answer. She didn't want to. It would be admitting defeat, admitting that even this sensible compromise wouldn't satisfy her. And even if she did change, Snow was being sweet and helpful! She didn't want to make her stare at a wall or, even worse, leave like she was some kind of intruder!

Or did she just want to be watched? To…reward her somehow? Lilac hadn't laid with anyone else since she and Leelah started doing so together somewhat regularly, when they had a chance. She was trying not to. She used to, sure, she was a succubus, she regrettably couldn't keep a lid on it entirely, that simply could not be done, but now, now that she had an outlet? That her beautiful, infinitely loving owner was tending to those hungers? Even that indulgence, of rewarding for their kindness this delicate girl who was everything she wasn't, felt dreadful to consider. And yet…

She wanted it.

She wanted Snow.

Her tail curled into a heart. The heart twitched and "beat."

Her tail!? When had that popped out!?

"You okay?" Asked Snow.

"I'm…fine-!" Lilac hopped out of bed. "I just- it felt weird to tell you to leave…" she removed her shirt and tossed it into a hamper. Her pants came off next. Relief was immediate and intense. The cool air of her dorm kissed her thighs and thin silky panties, which sent shivers all throughout her body. Now that she didn't feel so stuffy, her head cleared up a bit. "Ah~! There. Much better."

"I'm glad," remarked Snow. She stood up and smiled. "You should probably get in bed and-"

"Not without you," rumbled Lilac's voice. She took Snow by the wrist and with a strong beat of her wings launched them both in an arc. The two landed side by side in Lilac's soft cozy bed.

"I'm hungry," she purred. Snow giggled with an easy confidence.

"Alright, I'm game."
