Hello!

So, it’s been a while since my last update. Again. And I wish I had better news to share.

To cut a long story short – Generation 6 is going on indefinite hiatus. This is due to a variety of factors, but the most important one is that I’ve simply lost interest in continuing the story.

To give a bit of background, I first started fleshing out the characters and plot with Carol J. back in June of 2020; for context, Whiteout wasn’t even finished by that point. The original idea for the story was that Carol and I would switch off on chapters, with Carol handling the chapters with Alexander, me writing the chapters with Zariel, and the two of us working together on the chapters where they have group sessions. Unfortunately, Carol has had his own difficulties in writing, and eventually we decided that I would write the entire story.

And then, of course, my writing pace got worse and worse, leading to my sporadic output and the nearly two-year gap between chapters 9 and 10 of Gen 6. That last chapter, in particular, was a downright slog to get through. I realized very quickly that I had too many characters to keep track of and too much exposition to get through. I don’t think I earned the tonal shift the story went through, and I think it’s probably one of my weaker pieces of writing. And chapter 11 would have only doubled down on all those issues.

So, rather than force a bad conclusion to a story I don’t care about anymore, I’ve decided to move on to new things. And the first part of that is reopening commissions for the first time in… two years? More? The fact I can’t remember means it’s probably more.

My commissions will open on Wednesday, April 15^th at 11am CDT. I’ll be opening three slots, first come first serve (unless I inexplicably get a deluge of requests). You can see the details on my revamped website here. The goal with this is to get me out of my comfort zone a little bit, and to help with expenses while I hunt for a new day job. Following this, I have a new, original five-chapter story outlined, which is shaping up to be a return to my roots. Expect fluffy romance, gender euphoria, and a very flirty domme.

And after that…

It’s the big one.

The one I’ve kept teasing and hinting at for a while.

The one I know a lot of you have probably wanted to see for years now.

BLACKOUT is coming.

The full sequel to Whiteout, a proper continuation of Val and Weiss’s story, and the culmination of years’ worth of stories I’ve put out. It’s still in the outlining stages, but the shape of the story is fully mapped out in my head. I’ll continue to pick away at it while working on other projects, but once I’m back in my groove, it will become my primary focus. I hope you’re as excited as I am.
