A Sleepwalker talks about her new philosophy.

I was always the shy girl in my family. I went out of my way not to be seen as the cause of any trouble. I had difficulty speaking in front of a group. Advocating for my self was always a bit difficult. Self doubt was a constant companion.

I say 'was' because ever since I became a Sleepwalker, it has been scoured from my mind. In becoming a slave to Hypnoman, I have been freed of my self doubt. I need her ask myself if what I do for him is right or wrong. I no longer second guess every other thing I do. I am firm I am resolute, and I am determined.

I now have the strength to do whatever I must to aid in his schemes. I never fear making the wrong choice because I no longer have any choice when it comes do doing his bidding. Hypnoman is a supervillain, yes. He is evil, yes. But he is also correct.

My brainwashing has led me to create my own philosophy that encourages me to do my best in doing Hypnoman's bidding. Correct and right are not always the same. Sometimes the right thing, while ethically or morally sound, is not the correct thing. Hypnoman is always correct. In doing his bidding, I am always correct. If the question of how I should act in a certain situation comes down to doing what's 'right' and what's correct, I should always do what is correct.

Hypnoman approves of this framework I've devised and brought me to Chateau Svengali to indoctrinate my fellow Sleepwalkers into adopting it as well. Naturally, I was overjoyed to be chosen for such an honor and obeyed. I teach Sleepwalkers this mindset in the library's east wing in the mornings and have even spoken of it to the Hypno Harpy and Somno Siren.

However, I still encourage my fellow Sleepwalkers to take pride in being individuals. I tell them that if our master wished to make us zombies, that was his right. But instead, he lets us keep the majority of who we are. He wants his slavegirls to always have something distinctive about them, something that makes them unique. For some, it is their hobbies that set them apart, or their talents, or their tastes in food or music.

In Hypnoman's wisdom and kindness, he prefers that every woman under his thrall have some things that makes them stand out from the other Sleepwalkers. We are all a unique jewel in his collection, but we are all bound by a singular will.
