"Do you think it still works ? The trigger." Jenna whispered while looking at the stream of suitcases.
They had taken all the time they needed to kiss and hug. Now, they were waiting for the carousel to spit out Her bags before driving back home.
"Maybe. Do you want me to use it ?"
"Well... If You don't mind."
"Very well. Sleep"
Jenna waited for Her trigger to take over, for her thoughts to quiet out. But, after a few seconds, it was clear that it wouldn't work, that it faded long ago. Her face fell, and she felt her tears threaten to spill.
Jenna felt Her arms wrap around her. "Don't worry, Jenna. You're doing fine, you did nothing wrong. What did you want me to do with it ?"
"Well. I thought You could drop me, then order me to follow You home while I'm completely empty." Jenna's voice was shaky, but she stayed strong for Her. "Sorry for being so needy."
"No, no. Don't say that. You're awesome just the way you are."
She hugged Jenna a bit longer, keeping Her mouth near Jenna's ear.
"And since you really want it..." She whispered something, and Jenna's mind faded away.
