I prefer my incest stories to have no “mastermind,” but instead to arise as the result of neutral forces beyond everyone’s control. For whatever reason, the breaking of the taboo is more exciting when nobody planned for it.

Naturally then, I find sex pandemics as the perfect venue for an incest story. Menoete’s take on the trope is a heightened whirlwind of lusty transformation for two daughters and their father. Nobody writes “out of control” like him. As with all his work, it’s all in the language, how increasingly depraved vocab gets introduced into the perspective of his overwhelmed girls.

Makes for a great double feature with Sister’s Magical Whoopsie, a story about an errant magic spell. In this case, the titular sister only has a diminishing window of time to reverse her brother’s transformation before falling victim to her own botched magic.

Both premises are exactly my jam!
