yet another really haunting story from clytemnestrauma about the horrible what-ifs of hypnosis. the alternate realities of “oh god, what if it works that way? what if i’m fucked forever?” there is so much eroticism in the horror of things going mundanely, boringly, predictably wrong

If I had to describe C’s stuff in one word, I’d go with relentless. The premise is fantastical, but it never dissolves into fantasy; everywhere still is the grime and grit and sheer emotion of reality. The prose comes together masterfully to paint a picture of desperation and repression and self-destructive urge, and what are those if not the foundational emotions of the kink? Just brilliant work.
