I have been personally attacked, how dare you

Parts of this narrative feel so intensely true and familiar to me I could not stop reading. This is really really well written and god I appreciate the hell out of it and good on you for being able to write something this powerful

This is by far my favourite story on this site. It is exceptionally affecting, and very dark in parts, but the characters feel so grounded that I can’t help but keep coming back and reliving their trauma. Probably doesn’t help that more than one character feels a little too relatable… My only complaint is that there isn’t more of it, I’d absolutely love to get to see how Lucas grows into their identity should any more of it ever get written.
