that being said, this is one the best stories i’ve ever read, period. it’s such a good slow burn with so many details to appreciate. it’s been a long time since something has hooked me in like this story has, and i find myself eager to see what happens next after every single chapter. there’s truly nothing more delightful than watching someone confident be worn down in such subtle, sweet ways, and this story does it so well.
