Intrepid reporter Lily Wright attends DiaboliCon 2048, the world’s largest annual villain convention, to see if she can find a story. Content warnings: *Hypnosis and mind control *Loss of agency *Evil women *Threats of violence *Bad end
A wonderful take on a superpowered world, and how the villains interact. Was a nice cross between comics, and actual conventions. Would love to see more from this setting.
A cop-in-training confronts her professor about the lies she’s fed to her students. But then those lies turn to sweet, honeyed praise, and she finds herself unsure of what to do…
This was an odd one for me to read, but I got here from enjoying some of GigglingGoblin’s other stories. For a story with more of a realism to the setting, it was even more threatening. Possible trigger warning to Alcoholics, but the forced inebriation just made the villain more horrific to me.
Being a supervillain isn’t all climactic battles with caped crusaders. Sometimes it’s the day-to-day things that get you down. Sometimes it’s the day-to-day things that are the most important.
This was the longer story that made me look deeper into what ROM has to offer. Character development, plot, and avoiding a lot of boring cliches. A long read, but definitely worth it.
Two traumatized queers join what they think is a sorority. A story about community, magic, and the power of friendship.
I Love the slice of life this provides with all of the women, both new and old in the Sorority. Delta Sigma is too good an idea to not exist!
