Kallie does a great job providing snippets of mystery to the world the ‘hero’ lives in and the reality of her current situation. I enjoyed seeing the political dynamic of the forces that control her and I’m a huge fan of how Kallie provides needed information in a erotic manner, making learning more about the tensions of the characters hot and fun. The genre is enjoyable and Kallie’s take on it is exciting. I’d heard a lot about this story before, I’m very glad I got a chance to read it, especially as someone into sensual stories with some world building and mystery.
