A young super heroine who goes by “Live Wire” bites off a little more than she can chew and is given a dangerous new craving…
Rewired (by Madam Kistulot) is a prototypical example of how Madam manages to combine searing heat, unflinching intensity, shattering darkness, and absolute mastery of first-person submission. A series of vignettes, connected by their common cause (Mind Bore, from Silver Girl fame) and their common subject (Livewire), the story walks through the complete and utter breaking of the heroine at the hands of her unrelenting captor. 10/10.
The Units appeared virtually overnight. Some people thought it was a publicity stunt. Others thought it was a joke. But the real question is…Do you want to Belong? (TW: Dronification, hypnotic language, transformation, mind control.)
Belong (by Fractured Puppet) was one of the first Twitter stories that really, truly captivated me. The style, having been transferred over from Twitter, takes a little bit of getting used to, but it works, especially within the context of dronification. The story is, perhaps paradoxically, incredibly sweet, wholesome, and positive, and I would absolutely recommend this story to any lover of the genre. It is perhaps a little bit light on the mind control specifically, but it more than makes up for in imagery, warmth, and overall atmosphere. 10/10.
The nerdy, plain, shy Alex asks goth girl Winter out on a date, only to be told she’s not her type. But after that, Alex finds herself changing - into a dumb, muscular, hypersexual plaything
Muscle Bimbo (by Kallie) is one of those stories that has a somewhat funny-sounding premise, but which builds that premise into an insanely interesting (and hot!) series of events that makes you eager for more. The slow, inexorable transformation of Alex into, well, a muscle bimbo, is engaging and gripping, and the little offshoots into the antics that she gets up to are titillating. And, of course, the finale, which is every bit as mind-numbingly hot as the rest of the story, while also featuring some amazing mind melting. If you like bimbos (that aren’t over-the-top caricatures), and you like valiant but futile resistance, then you will love this story. 10/10.
Ramona starts a new job at a pornography studio, and finds that her new coworkers are eager to play with her.
I feel that I simply must give my praise for Temp Work (by Modren). The mommydom elements were wonderful, and I was incredibly happy to see the trance-inducing buttplug (which is an element that I find is criminally underutilized). Watching rammy’s descent into being her Mommy-Mistress’s daughterslave is delicious, and the caseplay is a wonderful underscore. 10/10.
After a stressful dinner with her parents, Emily is feeling low. Luckily, her loving girlfriend knows just the thing to keep her thoughts away from stressful topics – namely, by getting rid of Emily’s thoughts entirely and treating her to a night of pampering and mindlessness.
Taking Her Mind Off It (by SapphicSounds) is a lovely, sweet, wholesome story of a girl who wants to give her girlfriend some hypnotically-assisted peace of mind. In today’s world of racing thoughts, continual responsibilities, and unending stresses, it seems a far-off dream to have such a break from reality, and to let go of everything except the bliss of being a loved, obedient pet. The name diminution, the thought and care put into healthy play, and the seamless transition into the subspace perspective all contribute toward making this story an absolute must-read, especially if you’re having a hard time and need a little vicarious vacation from yourself. 10/10.
