A woman communicates psychically with the ancient Egyptian priest seeking to control her will and use her as a vessel for his ancient lover.

Piper, a rebel captured by the dastardly Affini Compact, becomes a test subject in an affini mad scientist’s newest experiment. Things don’t go as planned, and Piper suddenly finds herself with some big vines to fill. An HDG story which pays canon little heed.
