SYNOPSIS: Rhys and Jasper join Aristotle and his pet for brunch, but there’s just as much going on underneath the surface as on top of it.

[NOTE: This is the revised version of Chapter 7! Comments are author fuel, so if you like this series and want us to keep it coming as fast as we can make it, let us know!]

Even though it was a tranquil morning on the Promenade, Chalcedony imagined that he could feel the excitement tingling in the air around him. He seemed to be the only one willing to resist the relaxed atmosphere. Even their cheery waiter had seemed sedate in Chal’s eyes. Chalcedony tried to sit calmly in the restaurant booth with his owner, but he still couldn’t help but glance out the floor-to-ceiling window for the others. He was anxious to take on his role for the day. But, for that to happen, Thamyris and Jasper had to arrive.

His owner Aristotle had explained everything in detail that morning.

“Just remember, my dear, I want you to help Jasper,” Aris had said. “He’s not had any training or real exposure to what a pet’s life is really like. You need to show him how wondrous it can be.”

The Coin’s smile had widened then. “And, all the while, I need you to try to get him to open up. Read him for me. We can’t leave the fate of poor Rhys's heart to chance. If Jasper has any duplicitous intentions, I want you to suss them out.”

‘This one should be easy,’ Chalcedony considered. ‘If Jasper tries to be the Nobody to my Polyphemus, he’ll be sadly disappointed with the results.’ Being a perceptive and experienced pet, as well as a fine actor, he was usually effective at probing into people’s intentions. He loved being Aristotle’s useful little spy.

He leaned affectionately against Aristotle’s shoulder in the curved, u-shaped booth and whispered under the band’s music. “You know, if Rhys is as taken with Jasper as you suggest, I’d wager they’ve explored each other’s bodies by now. I know you mentioned it was early yet, but I have a funny feeling.”

His Kyrios, his Owner, smiled at him indulgently. "Does that idea titillate you?"

Maybe Chal was just horny.

Regardless, if this street thief had slept with Rhys, then any youthful cockiness might rise to the top. This would make him more talkative, easier to read, and easier to corner in his own lies.

Their corner of the restaurant seemed fairly quiet this morning, though he could hear a few voices coming from another booth around the corner. He wondered if his owner had engineered the level of activity around them to create his preferred ambience, as he was sometimes known to use his wealth and reputation to do. Regardless, the empty tables made it simple to finally spot their dining partners entering through the front doors.

In his excitement, Chalcedony straightened, and gently squeezed his owner’s knee. “They’re here!”

The pet quickly checked himself over one last time. His form-fitting clothing was still immaculate. He glanced briefly at the shiny copper water pitcher and confirmed that his light lavender side-bangs were still neatly parted in the center. He always used his hair to frame his face like this when he was trying to seem innocent.

Aristotle laid a hand in Chalcedony's hair, careful not to muss it. Watching the pet become someone else when he worked, immersing himself in a role until his reactions came naturally, was always a delight. He knew that underneath the layer of excitement, Chalcedony was no doubt evaluating Jasper, right down to the way that he held the door as he entered the restaurant.

Aristotle had two goals when it came to Jasper: ensuring the secrecy of Project Mnemosyne and safeguarding Thamyris Fairmount's happiness. Aris could not have said precisely why Rhys mattered so much to him compared to the others he frequented. He suspected it had something to do with the fact that, for all that Rhys was a Coin like any other, the other Coin had somehow retained a semblance of honour. The man dealt with those around him in good faith as much as he could. Aris appreciated those rare, refreshing qualities in his friend.

Aristotle was willing to do all the nefarious dealing on Rhys's behalf that Rhys wouldn't do for himself.

He wouldn't offer too much direct scrutiny to the pet — that would be Chalcedony's task. What Aristotle needed to do was to make himself affable and approachable, as usual. Although he didn't intend to forgo any of his usual pleasures — Jasper would need to be exposed to those soon enough. He had to admit that it was very interesting to be able to observe a Mnemosyne subject close-up outside of the laboratory, even if he had initially done all of this to please Rhys.

---

Waking up alone in his bed that morning, Jasper had been surprised to find himself still feeling a little giddy, a smile coming on easily. He felt practically euphoric as he dressed with Lemon's advice for the brunch. It was strange; he had been so defensive about Lemon crossing boundaries at first, but the factotum was actually very helpful. Banter with Rhys also came easy that morning. They talked about everything and nothing, what plants would do well on the balcony and where the best rock-climbing gyms outside of virtual reality were.

And it was through all this that Jasper realized that he had no immediate worries. He was in no physical danger. He had no lies to keep up. Last night, he had told Rhys the truth about himself and Rhys hadn't rejected him. Sure, the official process was almost finished for him to truly become Rhys's pet, but it didn't bother him as it might once have. He doubted that it came just from getting laid last night. He found himself trusting Rhys, and even that fact didn't set off any alarm bells, because Rhys had shown himself to be trustworthy.

So, his smile as he arrived arm in arm with Rhys at the restaurant that morning was genuine. He didn't notice Aristotle Brandywine or his pet at the back of the restaurant until Rhys pointed them out. They began to follow the host to their table through a maze of artfully arrayed nooks and alcoves filled with diners, with the notable exception of directly around Aristotle Brandywine's table. Mostly, these were Coin elite and their simpering entourages.

During the drive out to the Skyport District, Rhys, for his part, had been reflecting on the last day. It had been the most relaxing in recent memory. Nearly blissful, in truth. He’d felt at home with Jasper. Comfortable in a way he hadn’t been with a lover since...

He tried to put that aside as they arrived. He searched for Aristotle in the restaurant. Finally spotting his fellow Coin, Rhys allowed the host to lead them toward him. He was expecting Jasper to be at his heel, as discussed.

But, as they passed a large alcove near to their destination, Jasper's eyes caught on a familiar face and he slowed to linger on it as long as he could.

'Oree.'

Oree was holding court, surrounded by beautiful creatures of all provenances, Coin and pet and...well, probably no one like Jasper, but definitely middle-class employees and merchants, judging by their dress. He laughed at some off-hand comment that Jasper couldn't make out and raised his hazel eyes to Jasper's, catching his glance and smiling, then giving a friendly wink.

Jasper returned Oree’s smile, then noticed that he was trailing a good ten feet behind Rhys and turned to catch up. He realized that most pets probably met Oree in the simulation, and if Oree was as...friendly...to all of them as he was to Jasper, they probably encountered this kind of situation all the time. And yet, for all that, their smile had seemed no less sincere. Jasper grinned to himself and approached the table with Rhys, seeing the lavender-haired pet and Aristotle Brandywine rising to greet them.

Confident that he looked the part, Chalcedony watched intently as the others approached. 'Oh, he’s so adorable,’ Chal thought. 'He’s like a distractible puppy trying to keep up with his owner.’ When Jasper hustled up to meet them, Chal smiled broadly at him and gave a subtle nod that was just for him.

“Good morning,” said Rhys as he stopped just short of the table, smiling. “I trust you haven’t ordered yet?”

Aristotle spread his hands out in welcome. "Only the Mimosas," he answered near-ritualistically. "Welcome, welcome! It's been ages since we could do this together, each with our own charming companion."

Aristotle turned to Jasper, reminding himself of his goals, and trusting the rest to Chalcedony. "Hello, Jasper, I trust that Thamyris has been helping you to feel at home?"

Jasper, who had just switched his attention over to Aristotle after nodding back to Chalcedony, felt himself grinning shyly again despite his discomfort. "Hello, Mr. Brandywine. Yes, I've wanted for nothing. Between Rhys and Philemon, I've had all the help that I can handle."

Aristotle suppressed his look of surprise that Jasper was calling his Owner by such a familiar name, and let his smile widen instead. There was an opportunity here to use that knowledge to further endear himself. "You can call me Aris in this context, Jasper. If protocol demands otherwise, I'll be sure to let you know until you get the hang of it."

"Thank you, Aris," said Jasper, relaxing a little more. There was something about Aristotle that was putting him off, even though the man seemed to be genuinely friendly.

"Oh, and my darling lavender boy is Chalcedony. Chalcedony, you'll make sure that Jasper doesn't get too bored of Rhys and I talking about stuffy Coin business, won't you?"

“Of course, si– Aris!” Chalcedony tried to move one quickly to avoid blushing. It felt so foreign to call his owner by his first name, but there was something exciting about it too. “Please, come sit next to me.” Chal sat down and tapped the spot next to him in the curved booth as he spoke. “I’ve been looking forward to meeting you.”

Rhys motioned Jasper forward towards the offered seat. Once Jasper was seated next to Chalcedony, Rhys slipped into the booth beside him. Aristotle followed suit, the curved shape making it so that Chalcedony was sat opposite him but Jasper could sit both close to the other pet and to his owner. Perfection.

Rhys considered the menu on the table before him before sliding it away. “Jasper, I have decided what we will have for breakfast. We will get my favourite dishes and share.” He handed a Mimosa to Jasper. “Thirsty?”

Jasper briefly opened his mouth to ask to look at the menu but then closed it again. He supposed that having his meals chosen for him was one thing that he would have to get used to — but at least it sounded like Rhys knew the restaurant well, and all of this food had a good chance of being better than what he was used to in the slums of New Argent City. It was all so fucking decadent. He accepted the Mimosa and also poured himself a glass of water from the copper pitcher.

Chal turned to Jasper on the bench and spoke a little more quietly, so as not to bother their owners. “It’s the first time I’ve gotten to spend time with a pet as new as you. Now that it’s all done, you must feel relieved. You finally got through it all, and here you are!”

Jasper turned his attention to Chalcedony as Aris and Rhys looked on but chattered with each other about how things were going with Jasper getting settled in. "Well, my final registration and all happens this afternoon, after brunch. So I'm actually not officially a pet quite yet. Rhys could still change his mind about me." He took a sip of water. "How long have you been a pet, Chalcedony?"

Chalcedony was tempted to redirect the conversation back to Jasper, but he needed to relate to him. To be open, and thus invite trust. “Oh, I was scouted out about eight years ago. I was in the service industry and encountered a Coin at the right time.” He shrugged. “I suppose he liked my evocative style and exceptional service. I jumped almost to the front of the line of aspiring pets. I’ve been with Aristotle ever since.”

Jasper nodded and smiled along in all the right spots as Chalcedony spoke to him. The other pet was charming and different enough from the typical sycophantic pet-wannabes that Jasper could understand why he had been scouted.

“But my story is old news,” Chal went on. “I hear that your ascent to petdom was very sudden. Is that true? What was it like?”

He almost laughed aloud at Chalcedony's word choice, which was practically religious — his "ascent to petdom". He and Rhys hadn't really talked about what he was to tell other people, but Jasper could easily imagine what kind of gossip might arise if he even came close to the full truth.

Jasper wondered how much pets could trust other pets. Chalcedony was friendly, sure, but he was also Aristotle's pet, and there was just...something about Aristotle that set Jasper a little on edge. He didn't know what, but it came to him as a little alarm bell at the back of his mind. Maybe it was the fact that he had been trying to rob a lab inside one of Aristotle's universities. On top of that, this was still a public place, and Jasper knew better than to trust that they had complete privacy here, Owners aside.

"I never thought that I would become a pet," said Jasper honestly. "But Rhys and I met at his recital and he was like nobody else I had ever met. I thought that was the end of it, but we had another chance encounter and he was...very persuasive. It happened quickly but decisively."

“Oh, that’s very sweet. I can’t say I blame you. I’ve heard his music.” This was a good start. Chalcedony could use this to dig deeper into how Jasper got there. That would set him off balance. “So I take it you are a fan of music then? You must be if you went to a recital and managed to lure him away from all the others. Coin musicians gather crowds very easily.”

"Not especially," admitted Jasper. "I think he may have thought I was playing hard to get. I hadn't had much occasion to listen to his kind of music very often. It was pure luck that I caught his eye — I had no real idea who he was."

'Perfect.’ Chal thought. 'Let’s push that topic a little more. Make him squirm.’ He sat back and raised an eyebrow in apparent confusion. He looked at Jasper with what he hoped was just a touch of scrutiny. “You didn’t know him... Then why were you there in the first place?”

Aristotle couldn't help but turn part of his attention toward Chalcedony and Jasper's conversation. Rhys seemed in good spirits but it was very clear that the only thing there really was to talk about between them that hadn't been discussed to death before was the new pet. Still, he forced himself to continue on.

"So, will you be debuting him at one of the official functions?" Aristotle said softly enough that only Rhys's augmented ears would be able to hear it over the susurrus of the restaurant.

The taller Coin nodded. “Yes, but I haven’t decided which one yet," he replied, equally quietly. "Formal or informal? Large or small? Private, or something more public? It can be so difficult to decide.” Rhys turned his torso a little more towards Aris. “You tend to have a finger on the pulse of things. Perhaps I can use some advice? I would love to hear about any other upcoming functions I may have missed.”

Aristotle smiled, tapping his lower lip with his index. He kept his voice low, loving the cheekiness of having such a private conversation directly under their pet's noses. "You should have a private party and bring him to one of the larger debut galas. This is a moment worth celebrating. I'll send you the upcoming social calendar and we can choose a date together to have him ready by."

’Two events...’ Rhys considered the possibilities carefully. 'Jasper is a rather unique pet. It might be wise to have a first smaller gathering as a sort of test run. And, at the same time, a small party would feed more of a sense of exclusivity.’

Rhys smiled at his friend. “That gives me some ideas. What would I ever do without you? Let’s plan the details soon.” Rhys waved his hand as if sweeping away the topic.

Aristotle smiled warmly and genuinely at his friend, covering his hand briefly and giving it a friendly squeeze. "I'd love to help you plan an elaborate party, darling. By the way, are you planning to have him take any further training courses in virtual?"

Beside them, Jasper let out a laugh to release some tension. Chalcedony was...very curious. It was almost like he was trying to trip Jasper up. But it was probably just curiosity — especially since he was Rhys's first pet in a long while, from what he had gathered. "Oh, I was there with my cousin. He's a student at the conservatory who wants to be a pet. He asked me along and I figured, 'why not?' The open bar didn't hurt."

“Of course I’ll be giving him more virtual training,” said Rhys, his voice rising in volume slightly. “Why do you ask?”

"Being the director of a university at the cutting edge of such technology has some advantages. I want to offer you access to my personal rig to train Jasper. It's the best available — coupled with some features that are not yet commonly available."

Jasper hid it well, but ultimately it was clear to Chalcedony that he was getting a little uncomfortable with their conversation. The way his shoulders tightened and curved inwards gave him away. Now seemed a perfect time to push a different button. Chal gave an understanding nod and tried to switch the subject. “So what was it about Rhys that convinced you? What about him attracts you so much that you’d drastically change your lifestyle?”

Jasper looked down at his Mimosa for a moment, trying to appear deep in thought. He never liked to give more information about himself than he strictly had to and there was no reason for him to tell Chalcedony about his deal with Rhys. The other pet was alert and quick-witted, his questions incisive and pulling at threads Jasper didn't want unravelled. Was Chalcedony just looking for gossip, even though their Owners were supposed to be friends?  "To be honest...I don't know. It's not something I can put into words. It's just...his presence, all of him, being around him...It feels right."

Chalcedony was surprised. 'By the gods, he might be telling the truth.’ Jasper seemed wary, but honest. 'So maybe he does have genuine feelings for Rhys. I should still be careful.’ He took a long pensive sip from his Mimosa.

“So it’s a more visceral attraction. Something based on feelings and comfort. I can understand that. But, at the same time, how do you know he doesn’t charm all the green-eyed cuties like that, hmm?” Chalcedony nudged Jasper gently with his elbow. He didn’t want to pry too much. Time to switch things up. “He is a gorgeous Coin after all.”

Jasper felt an almost possessive energy flood through him, followed by an easy, rational answer to Chalcedony's teasing. He smiled a little wickedly. "It may well be that he charms all the green-eyed cuties, but he chose me to take home. From what I understand, I'm his first pet in years. Far be it from me to say who he can and can't charm."

Chal’s grin widened and matched Jasper’s mischievous look. “That’s all very true,” he admitted. “Besides, if I am getting an accurate sense of you, I doubt you would be very easy to manipulate by any Coin unless you wanted to be."

With his arm around Jasper's waist, Rhys smiled and reflected on on Aristotle’s generous offer of lending the prototype virtual reality rig. Even though Rhys was wealthy in his own right, Aristotle had more funds and resources than almost anyone else. However, Rhys could always tell when Aris was showing off and just throwing money around.

This generosity was simply his friend being thoughtful and kind. He might as well have been offering Rhys an extra bread roll he’d been served by mistake. It would do no good to refuse the offer. Aris wanted to make Rhys happy, and there was no reason not to graciously accept. “You’re too good to me,” he answered. “Thank you. I would love to hear more about your rig. What are these new features? It sounds experimental. Is it safe?”

"Certainly, dear friend,” said Aristotle, his foot playing with Chalcedony's foot and calf from across the table. “The modifications aren't yet publicly available, but that's only because these product launches have their own schedules and they have to test compatibility with hundreds of systems. They're well out of the experimental phase. Largely, they address comfort and verisimilitude. It's all very technical, but I can send over the specs for your perusal if you like."

Aris gave a small yawn, which he naturally covered, as though the technical aspects of these things were not of great interest to him. The truth was that he wanted Jasper in his chair again. He could reinforce the new pet's commitment to Rhys without either being the wiser, so long as they used Aris's rig.

“There’s no need,” Rhys said, shaking his head. “I doubt you would be using unproven technology on yourself. Would tomorrow be acceptable? I can bring the programs I’m looking to use.”

"Eager, eager," said Aristotle with another smile. "Of course, that would be fine. I know you want to get him trained up and ready to show off as soon as possible. I would, too."

Meanwhile, Chal kept prompting Jasper, drawing his attention away from Rhys and Aristotle's low-voiced conversation and back to him.

“What has it been like for you? Changing environments so quickly? Moving from the poor to middle-class ground level to the ultra-rich must be strange for you. It certainly was for me,” said Chalcedony. Even if Jasper seemed to be actually bonding with Rhys, he might have other motivations. Greed, for example.

Now it was Aristotle's turn to raise his voice enough for the other two to hear clearly, without making too much of a deal of it. "...Like Chalcedony here. My lavender prince loves to be shown off, don't you, Chal?" He gestured to below the table. "I need your mouth, sweeting. Don't worry, I'll make sure that you don't miss out on breakfast."

Jasper, who had been about to answer Chalcedony, blushed and closed his mouth, taking another sip of the Mimosa. He knew that pets served their Owners publicly like this, that it was no big deal to the Coins to put on a sexual display, but he had never seen it for himself in person.

Chalcedony smiled devilishly at his Owner’s request. He wasted no further time. The lavender-haired pet slipped under the table, glancing up at Jasper and giving him a wink as he went.

“I do so enjoy watching your prince polish the royal scepter,” Rhys said playfully. Rhys's right hand slid further around Jasper's waist, pulling him close on the bench. Rhys ran his left hand up Jasper’s thigh, caressing his pet's cock through the fabric before quickly moving to free it. "Aris, that shirt has a bold cut and colour compared to your usual. Are you getting all dressed up just for me?"

Jasper let out a low, surprised sound as Rhys wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him in tight before immediately pulling out Jasper's cock. He gasped, already half-hard thinking about what Chalcedony was doing under the table. He felt his face flush even further, feeling exposed.

"Oh, do you like it? It's one of Anthix's latest pieces. They're so talented," said Aristotle, sighing pleasantly at the sensations that Chalcedony's mouth was provoking in him. "Have the two of you caught up lately? They might be able to design something interesting for Jasper to wear at his big public debut."

Chalcedony had already pulled Aris’s erection out and was giving loving kisses down the shaft. Sucking cock might be his favourite pastime, but Chalcedony couldn’t let himself get too absorbed. His Kyrios had ordered him to probe Jasper. Chal licked from Aristotle's smooth balls all the way back up his dick to force the precum out. His tongue followed the ridge of the glans, then swirled to pick up the moisture from the tip. “You were saying?” Chal said to Jasper before lowering his mouth around onto Aris's cock.

The only reason Rhys's hand didn’t tense up and squeeze Jasper’s cock head like a bear trap when Aristotle mentioned Anthix was because of years of habituation and self-control. He missed spending time with Anthix and Calix a great deal, but it had never felt right ever since he had sent Marin away. He knew he couldn’t possibly have Anthix design anything for their party. It would be horrendously awkward.

“No, unfortunately we haven’t.” Rhys said, a little sadder than intended. He quickly changed tact. “I already have a design picked out for Jasper anyway. Because it will be his first appearance, I want to have something that matches his new name with a touch of extravagance.” Rhys smiled again. “After all, a proper Golden Lattice Ceremony deserves a little effort, no?”

Aristotle pursed his lips momentarily then relaxed them, passing it off as a reaction to Chalcedony's blowjob skills. Thamyris had plenty of acquaintances and was well-liked, but the man was astoundingly guarded around most people. Aristotle knew that he was Rhys's closest friend and so could push him a little further when it came to Anthix and Calix Sweetmeadow. They were Rhys's closest friends, once upon a time. He reached down and tousled Chalcedony's hair approvingly. "Oooh, well now. And lo, clever Hephaestus did cast his net upon the wild Ares and the lovely Aphrodite and capture them in flagrante delicto. A Golden Lattice Ceremony...That's awfully rare these days. How charming."

Aristotle and Rhys continued their conversation as though Chalcedony blowing Aris under the table while Rhys gave Jasper a handjob were both completely normal occurrences. That left Jasper to struggle to pay attention to Chalcedony and remember what they had just been talking about. His ear caught on the name that Aristotle said, filing it away for later. Anthix. Did he know that name?

Jasper tried to focus on Chalcedony again. "What was the question again? Something about what it's like to be among all these rich people, after growing up poor?" He paused in consideration, a slight frown at his lips. Coin wealth was obscene. "It's...unexpected. It seems like everyone has far more than they need to survive. That...hasn't been the case for most people I've been acquainted with up until now."

Jasper’s candid response was a little more than Chalcedony even hoped for. The new pet seemed mostly unable to perform any mental gymnastics or multitask while sexually engaged. This might prove useful to know.

And Jasper’s thoughts were possible indicators that he might be up to something. He seemed off-put by the wealth difference, rather than excited for his new way of life like every other pet would be.

Still, Chal knew he should give Jasper a chance to explain a little further. He popped Aris dick out of his mouth and started kissing and sucking along the shaft, not daring to use his hands for anything more than holding it still. “Yes, you’ve moved up in the world, haven’t you? Does this make you excited to see what comes next? You get to move on to bigger and better things.”

Aris examined his nails briefly, listening in on Chalcedony and Jasper's exchange as he thought about how to word what he had to say next. He hated to push Rhys, but the man was stubborn and needed someone to look out for his happiness.

Aristotle smiled at Chalcedony dancing around the thief, but turned that smile swiftly on Rhys. "Such ceremony. Surely your two oldest friends, Calix and Anthix, merit an invitation? It's a chance to reconnect. Anyhow...something to think about. Tell me, why the Golden Lattice?"

At the mention of Calix and Anthix again, Rhys had a more difficult time hiding his discomfort, though he would never let it interrupt the rhythm of his hands. He was glad for Aris's change of topic. There was no doubt he’d have to wrestle with this problem, but not now.

Jasper shifted uncomfortably, still distracted by Rhys's ministrations as his soon-to-be-Owner worked his shaft, slick with Jasper's freely-running pre. He understood, somehow, that he had to be careful about how he answered Chalcedony's question about his future plans — maybe it was some sort of thief's instinct. "It's an honour to have been chosen as Rhys's pet," he said carefully. "All I really want is...is for us both to be safe and comfortable. I don't have any interest in adopting an ostentatious lifestyle."

“Because the occasion calls for it.” Rhys answered Aristotle,  with his contentment seeming just a bit forced. “It will be his first time as a pet at such a sexually free gathering, and all that positive attention will make him feel appreciated and welcome.” A bit of fire appeared in Rhys's eyes as he began pumping Jasper’s cock harder with his now well-lubricated hands.

Rhys gave an almost shy shrug. “Besides, I find the ceremony to be rather beautiful and moving. Our culture is colder for letting such an important social bonding experience fade away, don’t you think?”

At Aris’s encouraging touch, Chalcedony felt arcs of electric pleasure shoot up from his chest all the way to the top of his head. He felt himself slipping into subspace, his focus tunneling in on his owner’s beautiful cock. ‘N-no!’ he thought, forcing his awareness out into the world again. ‘I have a job to do. I have to split my focus.’

Once he came back to himself, Chalcedony took another moment to reconsider Jasper’s answer. Even though he was sure Jasper wasn’t lying, it was definitely out of the norm for a pet to desire so little. After all, disposability was often an essential part of the contract, Golden Lattice ceremony or no. It was important for pets to make themselves interesting by keeping their interests diverse. Was Jasper that ignorant of this new world?

“That’s a heartwarming sentiment,” Chal smiled as he rubbed the cockhead across his soft cheeks. “But comfort and safety are all taken care of now. That’s a big part of petdom. What are you going to do now that you have the time and resources you get from Rhys?” At the mention of Thamyris, Chalcedony took a good look at what the Coin was doing. Jasper was rock hard, and all that pre was extremely tempting.

Jasper leaned back and clutched at the leather-like material of the banquette in the booth, trying to focus on Chalcedony as Rhys sped up his motions, bringing him closer and closer to the edge and holding him there. "Ahh...right..." It was so fucking audacious, in full view of the whole restaurant, with Chalcedony and Aristotle watching. He hadn't realized how much of a turn-on it would be to be touched in public like that. Still, Jasper knew that Rhys would want him to answer Chalcedony. He could feel himself losing control. "F-fuck...Mmmm...I-I've been talking with Rhys about some hobbies...! Gardening! And uh...cl-climbing...Gonna...gonna learn to play the pee–penis — pianist...I mean, piano!"

With a subtle moan, Aris pushed his cock against Chalcedony's cheek, leaving a damp streak across his pristine skin. He kept his hand in Chalcedony's hair, scratching at his scalp gently. His eyes settled on Jasper's overproductive cock, leaking profusely onto Rhys's hand. Aris loved the passionate look that appeared in his friend's eyes as he spoke of his plans for his new pet. Aristotle promised himself that he would help all of Rhys's plans for the delicious thief come to fruition. Meanwhile, he was nearly coming to fruition himself. He let out a gasp and a chuckle. "Oh, yes, much colder — it's hard to match the warmth of that many bodies in one place all seeking to pleasure one lucky pet. Mmm–hnng!"

Aristotle closed his eyes and came neatly and elegantly on Chalcedony's face. The sight of Chalcedony covered in Aristotle's cum was enough to set Jasper off, who shot all over Rhys's hand and his own bare abdomen, bucking and holding onto the fabric of the bench for dear life, trying not to make too much noise. He leaned his face into Rhys's side to muffle the sound. Maybe this was why pet fashion had so many bare midriffs — easier to clean up all the cum from their stomachs.

When Aristotle opened his eyes again, he saw several waiters carrying plates toward their table. "Oh — the food is here."

Rhys chuckled to himself at Jasper's overstimulated noises. 'My little pet tried so hard, but he just needed it too badly.' He looked up from his handiwork at Chalcedony. The pet luxuriated in having his face coated in his Owner’s cum. Rhys watched Chalcedony’s fingers carefully wipe the cum from his face, and then lick them clean. “Aris, mine seems to be out of commission for the moment. Would you mind lending me your pet to wash us up for breakfast?”

Aris grinned contentedly and waved his hand in casual assent as the waiters set down the food. Of course, Chal wasted little time in shifting over to the couple under the table. He positioned himself between Jasper’s knees, but then started with the Owner’s hands, as protocol dictated. Chalcedony made sure to get every spot, and sucked each finger clean before moving on.

As Rhys withdrew his hand, Chal turned and looked greedily at Jasper’s abs. They didn’t have the obvious look of someone who exercised for the sole purpose of having a cut body. There was definition, to be sure, but they were the muscles of someone who actually used them. Someone who relied on them. There were faded scars scattered across Jasper’s body that showed just how often he must have had to rely on them. The apparent readiness and competence his physique implied was absolutely titillating. Chal knew what he’d be thinking of when he got home in an hour.

Chalcedony expertly cleaned Jasper’s abdomen, leaving a thin coat of glistening saliva behind. Then without pausing, he grasped Jasper’s still semi-hard cock and took it into his mouth. Chal took more time than was strictly necessary to give Jasper a thorough cleaning, and made sure to get all around the base. He lovingly tongued each ball clean, one at a time.

Chalcedony's mouth on his stomach and oversensitized cock had him squirming, but Jasper tried to be still. Rhys took another sip of his Mimosa and ran a hand through Jasper’s hair. Jasper found himself leaning into Rhys's touch.

When Chalcedony got to his feet, Rhys grasped his shoulder to stop his friend's pet from slipping back into his seat. “You missed something dear. Here, let me.” Rhys firmly grasped the pet by the throat, just under his jaw. With a gentle push, he turned Chalcedony’s head so that Jasper could plainly see the sizable spot of cum that had landed on his upper cheek. The forced manipulation of his body had Chalcedony shuddering needily. Rhys dragged his tongue up from Chalcedony’s jawline to the cheekbone, and Chal whimpered with pleasure. When he released Chalcedony, Rhys took pride in how the pet almost fell backward into his seat.

The powerful yet casual display made a flare of arousal shoot up Jasper's body. He turned his attention to the food, trying to settle himself. Affectionately, Rhys tousled Jasper’s hair further. “You are proving to be quite the pleasant diversion, you know. Now come. Let’s eat.”

"Two of us have already come, and I don't think your pet has the refractory period of a Coin," said Aristotle, raising his Mimosa glass for a toast. "To coming and then eating."
