Change of will

Those of you who have read my other story may have got the impression that I'm mostly one for cute, (mostly) consensual domestications. That may be true, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy a good brainwashing.
"Do you not understand? You are my toy. You are my possession. Your body and your mind alike are mine and I can control them in any way I want."
Ellie stared up at her Mistress in fear. Her whole body was shaking. She wanted to say something, to stand up to her, but she just couldn't. Every attempt at resistance was going to be neutralised, anyway.
"You do not own me. You can break my body, but not my will!" is what she desperately wanted to say, but when she opened her mouth, the only words that came out were "Yes, Mistress."
Her Mistress's hand reached out and grabbed her by the chin, strongly enough to cause pain. "Good girl." She raised Ellie's head up and bent down to speak to her eye-to-eye. "Here's how it will be. You will follow my orders yourself, or I will force you to follow them. There is no third option. Understood?"
Ellie's eyes were wide open and she couldn't say a word. She was terrified. All her days back on Earth, in the Navy and in her rebel team led her by one simple value: independence above all, freedom over everything. She had believed it wholeheartedly, but there was no use for it, now. There was no more freedom for her. With this implant in her body and with this affini playing with her mind like this, her entire life, everything she was, was going to be gone. Wiped away, just like that, so she could become her Mistress's toy. Her throat was dry and she felt like she was unable to speak. Even so, the words came out of her mouth involuntarily. "Yes, Mistress."
Dross loosened her grip of Ellie's face and smiled devilishly. "That's what I thought." She slid her hand gently up to the top of her head to stroke her hair. "Don't worry. It is not in my interest to harm you. I do not break my toys."
Ellie exhaled shakily. She already felt harmed and broken. Her Mistress's will was everywhere, overwhelming her mind, causing her to begin losing track of which thoughts were her own and which were being forced onto her. Or did it matter? Was there even a difference at this point? She was going to remain like this forever, utterly changed, down to her very core. She teared up with the remnants of her old will, knowing that soon enough she will find herself not only unable, but also unwilling to even try to resist. It felt like the implant on her neck was pulsating, and with every pulse, her will to fight became weaker.
"Do not cry, petal." Dross reached over with a finger to wipe her tears. "You will be happy with me. I will make sure of that." She smirked. Ellie knew exactly what way she meant it in. She didn't have a choice in her happiness. She was going to be supplied with happy chemicals until she forgot why she resisted in the first place. It wasn't going to matter anymore. She desperately wanted it to matter, she wanted to remember what she was fighting for, but she knew she couldn't.
She already felt her old self melting away. She knew it was only a matter of time before she became the perfect floret - empty, blissful and obedient. Her fear was starting to fade, replaced by something else. Comfort, acceptance, happiness? Whatever it was, she knew she had to fight it. She wanted to keep being afraid. She couldn't bear to accept any of this. She wanted to lie to herself, to fool herself that was still possible to stop this, somehow.
"I can tell you're still having some doubts, my little toy. You are clinging to your old will, aren't you? I know you don't want to feel like everything you fought for didn't matter." Dross smiled kindly and pitifully at her helpless floret, who was now sniffling. "But I'll share a secret with you, okay?"
Ellie didn't want to listen to her, but it was impossible not to. She nodded as her tears dried up. Her Mistress's kindly voice and her gentle touch were comforting her, making her feel so weak and small, yet so kindly and tenderly loved. She hated it, but she couldn't stop it anymore. She couldn't change the way she felt.
"It never mattered. This is what you were always meant to be."
She tried to resist these words, she tried to gather all her willpower to push them out and tell herself it wasn't true, that it was just this cruel alien's deception. She couldn't do that anymore. Against herself, she simply accepted everything her Mistress said as fact. What she had fought for never mattered. This is what she was always meant to be.
Her Mistress stroked her hair again and her hand slowly glided to the back of her neck, gently touching her newly installed implant. Dross looked deep into her, and Ellie had no choice but to stare back at her. Her eyes were so beautiful, like clouds in the sunset, spinning and whirling around, covered in small, flickering lights. Ellie knew what was happening, but she couldn't do anything about it anymore. She... didn't want to? She heard her Mistress's voice, as if it was coming from deep inside her own head. "Give. In."
Ellie gave in.
What was she fighting for, again? Freedom? independence? She didn't want that anymore. This is what she was meant to be. A toy. A plaything for her Mistress. Her fear and despair were gone, and she felt silly for ever having felt them at all. There was nothing to fear, after all, and nothing to despair about. Her Mistress was going to keep her safe, to make her so happy, and she asked nothing in return, save for her obedience and servitude. She didn't know anymore which of her thoughts were her own and which were coming from her implant. She didn't care, though. It wasn't important. All she cared about was how much she wanted to obey her Mistress.
"Yes, Mistress," she said, smiling. It was really all over now.

Change of will (short): A rebel finds herself in a dead end. She wants to resist the affini, but how can she do that if she can’t even resist her own changing thoughts?
Just curious (10 chapters): A human, lost for their purpose in life, had always felt weird whenever they thought about florets. But they didn’t want to be one. They were just curious! Just curious what it feels like, that’s all…
Soft spot (3+ chapters; ongoing!): A human's eye is caught by a seemingly distant, expressionless affini. Turns out, he may be just what she needs to let her guard down a little.
Alright, hope you liked that!
