Marilyn followed the owner of the house to the kitchen, always keeping a close watch on her reactions. Sometimes, when she messed with people’s perceptions, unexpected variations could make them snap to their old selves and she couldn’t have that. Lucy was her plaything for the rest of the day and anything that impeded that had to be dealt with immediately. As she walked behind the millionaire attorney, she continued feeding her spirit with memories and ideas befitting her agenda, solidifying them with a bit of small talk.

“It’s been ages since you were here, Marilyn,” Lucy declared. “What have you been to?”

“Oh, same old... always busy with classes and exams but trying to loosen up some more.”

“I know the feeling. When I was in college, I was constantly overwhelmed. There were so many things I wanted to do and time was always running short. It’s annoying, isn’t it?”

“A bit, yeah, but a person gets used to it after a while,” Marylin retorted.

“Well, don’t. Never settle for less than what you deserve or you’ll end up regretting it in the long run. Trust me.”

“That’s funny, I never pictured you as a person with regrets over anything, Lucy.”

“Oh, that’s sweet, but my life hasn’t always been this perfect. Money or not, I had my struggles over the years but always came out on top and you know why? Because I never gave up when things got tough and pushed through until my goals were met. That’s how you win in life, my dear. Never forget that.”

“I won’t. How’s your husband been doing?”

“Jack? Oh, he’s fine... I guess. The truth is, we haven’t spent that much time together lately.”

“Don’t tell me there’s trouble in paradise.”

“What? No, it’s nothing like that, and if there were, you would have already heard about it on the news. It’s just that ever since I got his new job, he’s always busy flying around the world.”

“Well, that sucks,” Marilyn said, “but you guys are okay, right? I mean, there’s no way he’s using the constant traveling as an excuse to cheat on you, right?”

“Are you kidding me?” Lucy grinned. “He knows I would destroy him if he even thought about it! No, Jack will never go against me. He’s too much of a wuss to take that sort of initiative and that’s the way it should be. Thank god for that sweet piece of ass though.”

“I hear you,” Marilyn laughed. Despite the act, she was genuinely having a good time for some of Lucy’s thoughts coincided with their own even without the mental manipulation. When she had done her research on the Pendertons after getting the assignment, she had uncovered a lot of interesting secrets, the most striking one being her sexual predilections and fantasies.

Lucy was a control freak. She hated the expression and what it stood for but it defined her better than any other in the English language. It was a trait she had inherited from her mother and that defined her from childhood to middle age. Being in charge of her surroundings pleased her to no end, but dictating the fates of the people orbiting around her was even more appealing. Any past boyfriend wouldn’t hesitate to say who wore the pants in the relationship and that bled into her marriages as well.

Her first husband Terence, - the real father of her children - had once been a successful producer with a dozen TV hits and even a couple of ongoing movie franchises under his belt. Immune to all the sexual scandals in his line of work, he built his career on the back of hard work and a genuine passion for the entertainment he was helping create. The only thing that excited him more was coming home to find his wife dressed in provocative leather outfits, with a whip in hand, and thigh-high boots demanding to be worshipped. The domination games kept their relationship spicy and intriguing and would have continued well into their twilight years were it not for a tragic helicopter accident during a movie shoot that not only wrecked her marriage but also brought an entire movie studio on the verge of collapse.

In the months following his demise, the lawyer went through an incredibly rough patch, shying away from clientele and seeking solace at the bottom of Vodka bottles. A long extended sabbatical led her to an island in the Pacific where she retreated into a hardened shell and refused to leave until both Amy and Willa came to her rescue. The need to be there for her daughters brought her back to the fight, and that was the last time she ever allowed the world to hurt her.

Jack - who she met during a lively fundraiser two years prior - was Terence’s opposite in everything from failed businesses to poor taste in clothes and half a dozen other things she could no longer remember. To this advantage, he had quite the sculpted body, a heartwarming smile, and a desire to be useful whenever she asked for something. Lucy saw through his colorful exterior, got inside his head (and heart), and made him love her as he had never loved a woman before. Now, he was a puppet who wore a ring around his finger like an owned slave wears a collar around his or her neck. He always deferred to her judgment and derived his happiness from doing anything he could to be on her good side. The few times he had failed to do so, the consequences had been unforgettable, and she was right. He would never risk what they had for selfish pleasures of the flesh.

“What about you, Marilyn?”

“What about me?” the young alien replied.

“Any boys in your life worth keeping around?”

“Hmmm, that depends on whether you’re asking as boyfriends or pets.”

“They’re the same thing, girl, and if you haven’t realized that by now, you will. So... yes or no?”

“No boys at the moment. I have my eyes set on other prospects.”

“Oh? Since when do you swing both ways?”

“I never said I did,” Marilyn raised a curious eyebrow.

“That’s what it sounded like to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, mind you. In fact, I think a pretty young woman like you would probably be better off with another cute young woman by her side instead of a horny guy but do what’s best for you.”

“Always, Lucy.”

The two were now sitting in the kitchen, with Lucy pouring her a cup of her favorite tea, a blend of lime and ginger with a savory yet strong aftertaste. One whiff was all it took for the e4xtraterrestrial to know that would never be her thing but she kept the illusion going when suggested,

“Shall we head outside?”

“Sure.”

Lucy opened the door to the garden and allowed her guest to go through first. After having adjusted her fake eyes to the luminous conditions indoors, the bright sunbeams hitting her took a while to process. Eventually, the holographic projection corrected itself and her human guise remained intact. Lucy sipped her tea and accompanied her on a tour around the property.

“You know, I can’t help but be peeved with my daughters right now,” she said.

“Oh? Why is that?”

“They knew you were coming and were not here to greet you? What’s up with that?”

“That’s okay, Lucy. I don’t mind.”

“But I do. That’s no way to treat an old friend.”

“To be honest, you’re the one I wanted to talk to the most and I’m glad we’re getting the chance.”

“I see. Is there anything specific you wanted to talk about?”

“Well...”

Lucy led the beautiful young woman to the back of the mansion where a sumptuous grass labyrinth whose paths were decorated with exotic topiaries depicting extinct animals big and small had been erected. At the very center, stood a circular clearing punctuated by a round table with a mini-bar built underneath, foldable chairs in shades of silver, and a parasol big enough to shelter twenty people from the scorching heat or more. It was the lawyer’s favorite retreat when she wasn’t working overtime in the office, and the last thing Terence supervised before the crash.

The labyrinth itself was the size of a soccer stadium with multiple branching paths leading to glorious dead ends. Finding the correct avenue was as easy as following the position of the green beasts above them. All corridors leading to the center had an animal looking down while the others pointed in haphazard directions to confuse people even more.

Not once Marilyn felt perturbed delving deeper into the living structure. As complex as it was, it was still child’s play compared to her colony, and anyone that could navigate it would never get lost in a human structure. When the last corridor was left behind, she stopped the older woman in her tracks, touched her lips gently with the tip of her right index finger, and said,

“You were right about something you said earlier, Lucy.”

“And which thing was that, my dear? I’ve said so many already.”

“Yes, you did, but only one truly worthy of note and worth repeating. Boys can be entertaining but it takes a woman to understand another woman and if there’s something I can appreciate is experience. Life experience, to be precise.”

“What are you saying, Marilyn? Do you have the hots for an older woman and want my advice? Is it someone I know?”

“You can say that...” Marilyn gently brushed her hair, the sexiest of smiles blooming on her lips. “Have you ever felt incomplete and as if nothing mattered all around you?”

“You know I have. When I lost Terence...”

“I’m not talking about your first husband, my dear. What you had was amazing, and you got two beautiful girls out of it but when you truly think about those moments, were they as special as you believe, or are your memories tainted by pink goggles? Few things in life can set a heart aflutter and beat like there’s no tomorrow but when they come, you know. They’re all you can think of, dreams given form, promises so exciting you’ll do anything to hold on to them and never let go. Look deep inside you, Lucy, and tell me who you see when your thoughts wander into pure lust. Is it Terence, whose time has come and gone and will be nothing but a recollection now? Is it Jack, who follows you around like a little puppy and nothing more than that or is it someone younger, prettier, and with an appetite for life that can never be fully satiated? If you think closely, only one image comes to mind, and to think otherwise makes no sense. I’m here, Lucy. I’ve come for you and can’t wait for you to come for me, too.”

“Hmmm,” the celebrity lawyer almost choked on her tea. She lay down the cup on the round table and fanned herself with her right hand. “That’s quite unexpected and flattering of you, but I never thought of you like that and even if I did, we couldn’t... I mean, I’m old enough to be your mother.”

“I’m more than meets the eye, sweetie, and you can be my Mommy whenever you want,” Marily insinuated her bosom against hers, naughty hands crawling up her dress. “How can you even think of resisting this?”

“Marilyn, please don’t...”

“Don’t do what?” the alien insisted, her voice sliding inside her mind like honey. “Tell you how I feel and how you feel, too? Isn’t the truth more important than silly games that go nowhere? You’ll never be whole until you give yourself to one who understands what drives you and here I am. I look good on you the same way you look good on me. You’ve been in control for far too long, trying to make everything work the way you envision it, but I say no more. It’s time for the real you to come out.”

Marilyn kissed the older woman’s surprised lips, sending ripples of sapphic pleasure down her spine. She stumbled backward as if she had been hit by a speeding train about to derail and muttered,

“This is wrong...”

“Only if you choose to believe it so and that’s not something that should concern you now. Focus on me and what you can do to please me. It’s hard being on top of the world all the time. Let me ease that burden and bring you down from that self-imposed pedestal. Think of how much fun you can have if you agree to become my little lesbian mindless slut. Get down for me. This is our moment and no one else’s. Let my voice guide you on the path of obedience you desperately want to take.”

“I...”

Lucy was at loss for words, heart, and body flooded by the alien visitor’s insidious programming. It wreaked havoc inside her central nervous system, replacing one memory at a time with her commands.

“Down, Lucy. Down at my pussy and wanting to be of service. You are no longer in charge. Let your old friend take the reins. I am what you need and you belong to me. Down... down... down where you belong...”

Lucy sank heavily under the parasol, eyes glazed and lips parched. A beautiful young goddess was calling her to welcome a new reality, one that rang truer than anything the camera flashes of Hollywood could produce. Hungry teeth gnawed at the black leather skirt pulling it down until a sweet delta of pleasure became all she can see.

“Oh, Marilyn...” she drooled. “Please! May I...?”

“Have your fill, my dear. Nothing will make you happier.”

The lawyer nodded soundlessly, lapping at the visitor’s palace of sex. It had bedrooms galore and all had her name on them.

“Now this is what I call satisfaction...” Marilyn said, taking notes of her progress.

Little did the mind-warping alien know that her fun was only getting started. Lucy’s daughters had just arrived home.
