When Marilyn woke up the following morning, she had her face buried in the housekeeper's ass while the young woman still had her lips wrapped around Richard's cock. How she hadn't choked herself during the night was a mystery for the ages... if the planet survived that long.

The extraterrestrial got up from bed and temporarily deactivated the living hologram to allow her incomprehensible form to shine. As she did so, she tinkered with the parameters of her device to create a new preset. The next time she was on assignment, she wanted to go with an even more exotic look, perhaps a petite Japanese lady with a penchant for raunchy cosplay. Hmm, yes... that could be fun.

However, before considering all that, there was still the matter of a possible global emergency to take care of. People say no news is good news but the silence from the Council was starting to get on her nerves. What the fuck were they doing?

After tinkering with the device, she returned to her human disguise and caressed the two sleeping humans. They had been wonderful sexual partners and the energy they exuded was strong enough to make her smile. She would have to wipe their minds clean afterward but it was okay. The images of unbridled debauchery would always live within her, long after she left she left the Milky Way behind.

With a subtle gesture, Marilyn deepened their sleep and called the Councilwoman again. It was time to get the answers she was looking for, once and for all.

"Mehrillhyne? I was about to contact you myself. I'm afraid I have bad news," Wikktory said.

"Define bad news."

"We had a lengthy discussion about our possible intervention in this matter and my proposals were denied. The majority of the Council members are against a tactical intervention. The Elite Team I promised you will not be coming your way."

"You've got to be fucking kidding me! So, what's the plan? To let the Rinnidyans wreak havoc on the region?"

"Yes. We'll be discontinuing all operations on the planet until the end of this month and leave humans to fend off this threat for themselves."

"Which we all know they're incapable of doing. Councilwoman, how can you have possibly sanctioned this? This is madness!"

"I tried, Mehrillhyne, but the dissonant voices were too strong. For months now, they've been looking for an opportunity to destroy what we accomplished here and now they've been given one in a silver platter. They argue that the more we interfere in this matter the more humans will become aware of our presence. Trying to save them could very well end with our kind being hunted and studied and nobody wants that. In the end, it's all a matter of self-preservation. You're hereby ordered to get on the first flight out of there and come meet me in Hollywood. We'll be traveling together out of here."

"No."

"What do you mean no, Mehrillhyne? This was what was decided and what must come to be. We cut our losses and move on. There are plenty of other planets around to study. Let the Rinnidyans have their feast. As long as they're preying on humans, they're not trying to destroy us."

"No. That's wrong, and a total display of cowardice. We are superior beings who know just how troublesome this infestation can be. Allowing it to proliferate unchecked is the same thing as approving genocide. You've lived here longer than I have. Are you really okay with this abominable betrayal?"

"My feelings are irrelevant. I follow the will of the majority and so must you. I expect you here no later than tomorrow to coordinate the evacuation plans."

"The answer is still no. If you're too afraid to do something other than running away, then I have no choice but to take matters into my own hands."

"What are you saying?"

"I'll confront the host myself to determine the spread of the infection. I know it's a long shot but maybe there is still time to do something about it. I don't give up so easily, unlike you."

"You said you didn't want to risk your own life and now you rush to do just that? If you defy the orders of the Council..."

"... I'm dead either way, right? In that case, I might as well welcome it on my own terms. I'm going to get to the bottom of this and there's nothing you can say or do that will make me change my mind."

"Mehrillhyne, please! It's not worth it."

"I'll be the judge of that, not you. Goodbye, Councilwoman. I don't expect us to talk again after this."

Marilyn hung up and deactivated the signal so she wouldn't be disturbed again. Choices had been made, and not the right ones. For the first time since she could remember, she was disgusted at her people's inaction. How could they be so blind? Not doing the right thing was sending a message to the Rinnidyans that they were afraid of them and that fear would destroy not just one planet but the entire galaxy. If the scourge was allowed to proliferate, then how long until it spread to other regions of the Universe?

"Not on my fucking watch!" Marilyn thought and returned to her sleeping companions. She woke up Madelyn with a kiss on her forehead and then did the same to Richard, the two of them staring helplessly into her magnetic gaze as they said in unison,

"Hi."

"Good morning," the extraterrestrial smiled. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yes," Madelyn replied, wiping a speck of cum from her lips. "Last night was wonderful. Thank you."

"Yes, thank you," Richard muttered, his muscles still sore from being in the same position for too long. "How did you do that?"

Marilyn sat on the edge of the bed and crossed her legs, invitingly. Her eyes twinkled. "It's a kind of magic, just like the song."

"You seem to have plenty of that," Madelyn held on to her right hand and kissed it avidly as if she were afraid to lose her. "One more round, please?"

"Trust me, I'd love to, but something came up that simply can't wait. I need you to do something for me though."

"What do you need, Goddess?" Richard sat in the bed, his hands all sticky.

"Just this. Keep your eyes on me and feel your mind slipping away once more. Deeper and deeper, deeper than you've ever been before. You were both amazing but our time has run short. This is the right moment to forget... forget... forget... Let the pleasure drift away from your memories. This is the right thing to do, the only way for you to be safe and happy going forward. I need to go. I need to go and so do you. If you have family elsewhere, you should definitely go visit them. When I leave the room, you'll forget you ever met me and the only recollection of ecstasy in your thoughts will be an image shared between you two and nothing more. I was never here. My face will fade away completely from your mind but not the bliss you gave one another. Remember it as you go about your business and don't look back. Go visit your loved ones. Get yourself as far away from here as possible. Don't think about anything else but these things. This is the last thing I'll ask you to do for me, so don't hesitate. Leave and be happy."

The two entranced subjects listened and nodded, their mind in perfect sync with whatever she asked of them. While they would never admit it out loud, they were already completely addicted to her charms and desperate to be used again. That underlying need would remain deep inside their subconscious even after their minds went blank, an unbreakable connection beyond anything human science could ever explain.

Marilyn continued whispering her honeyed suggestions, rewriting their thoughts one by one. If she were to survive the events of the day, she would love to have some fun with them again but it was better this way. She wasn't good by any definition of the word but she wasn't a complete psycho either. Perhaps they would find some solace across the ocean before the Rinnidyans destroyed it all.

The two humans remained frozen in bed, drifting for her as Marilyn walked out of the room, ready for the most challenging assignment of her life.

* * *

There was a cab waiting for her outside. Unlike the night before, the driver was an Indian immigrant of few words who was trying to save some money to return home for the holidays. Marilyn didn't say a word to him other than her destination and then slipped in a suggestion to run away after dropping her off.

The Ocean Club stood before her, a beautiful slice of Heaven that had already been tainted by unspeakable horrors. She had no idea if the host was still there or not but her gut was pointing in that direction. The first order of business was to get inside, head to the room they were staying in, and then try to neutralize it. Removing the parasite was probably no longer an option without harming the subject but if the collateral damages could be kept to a minimum...

Her mind wandered back to the old classified files and the detailed explanations of how the Rinnidyans secured compliance above everything else. Most of the time, their victims retained a semblance of awareness as their brain functions were being rewired from the inside out, mere passengers in their bodies, bound to perpetual servitude. While the assimilation itself tended to be painless, sometimes they would use physical discomfort to shut down the brain more effectively, allowing the infection to spread beyond the point of no return. They were not subtle creatures and why would they be with such an obvious genetic advantage?

Marilyn had no interest in taking a life unless there was no other choice but she wouldn't hesitate if it came to that. She took a deep breath and waltzed right in.

From the intel the Councilwoman had been able to gather before her proposals were shut down, Marilyn learned that the Amazonian model was called Natalia Rubianova, the middle child of an American businessman and a Bielorussian neurosurgeon. She was only twenty-two but had been in the fashion industry for almost ten years now, headlining show after show across the globe. The man she was with at the nightclub was called Marko Pickler, an Austrian banker with familial ties to World War II Germany. Rumor had it that most of his family fortune had been stolen from the Jews at the time of the Holocaust but with no substantial proof to back it up, he lived a comfortable life without fear of persecution and prosecution. He owned a couple of restaurants in Nassau, Freeport, and West End, all of which were considered the best the local cuisine had to offer.

The luxury resort was a feast for the senses, an enclave of remarkable seclusion where intimate low-rise buildings flourished along 35 acres of Versailles-inspired lawns and gardens. All the accommodations available there were spectacular in their own right but none more exciting than the three-bedroom beachfront villa with a private infinity pool, vaulted ceilings, and marble floors. It would have been a great place for an orgy had she chosen to stay there.

Marilyn took a few seconds to smell the ocean breeze and take in all the sights before heading to the front desk. The moment she stepped inside the main building, she regretted it right away.

The friendliness of the exterior simply wasn't a thing indoors. Despite the warm colors and inviting furniture, there was an impersonal coldness pervading every nook and cranny of the resort. starting with the eyes of the staff. Everyone turned at the same time to look at her, following her every move with an animalistic intent. The guests walking around mimicked them, their curious visages filled with unnatural predatory instincts. It was impossible not to notice them, their expressions becoming more twisted with each step forward.

As menacing as they looked, they appeared to have no intention of attacking her, but simply follow her around. Walking three steps behind her, they funneled her into the main lobby, hints of fluorescent green on her fingertips.

"Shit!" Marilyn exclaimed. "They're all infected, too."

The doors of the resort closed behind her.
