This is a noncon story. It involves dark themes involving religion and gaslighting. Read at your own risk.

It was the middle of the night when the convent erupted into activity. Storm clouds raged above, striking lightning across the sky. Rain came down in blankets and flooded the quad of the Abbey. Church bells rang to awaken the sisters from their slumbers.

There was an emergency.

They scrambled out of their rooms and into the halls, filtering one by one to the entry way. Leora was no exception, awoken from her restless sleep like all the others.

She had been fretting over Lucille and Corvina being absent ever since they had left. The first thing that came to her mind when she heard the bells was that some ill had befallen them. She prayed that the two most important people in her life would be okay.

One of the sisters screamed and Leora pushed to the front of the small crowd. She had to know what happened, and what she found caused her heart to stop.

Corvina was walking into the foyer carrying Lucille. Lucille had a wound on her side and her habit was soaked in blood.

“Prepare the infirmary at once. She is still alive, but I fear the worst if we do not help her right away. I did what I could with a lack of supplies while on the way, but she requires more aid. Hurry. Leora, help me carry her.”

Leora didn’t hesitate. She rushed to Corvina’s side immediately and took one of Lucille’s arms over her shoulders. In unison, they carried the limp girl to the infirmary. Leora thanked the Lord that Lucille was still breathing.

They placed her on the bed as gently as they could and Corvina fell to her knees, clearly out of breath.

“Mother Superior, what happened?”

Corvina let out a deep sigh. “A thief. That town is full of sinners and criminals. I should have known better than to bring an inexperienced nun with me. Oh, it is all my fault Leora.”

Despite her best attempts to remain calm and appear strong, Corvina began to sob. Leora placed a hand on Corvina’s back, moving it in small comforting circles. She had never seen her superior show this much sorrow. It made Leora’s heart ache.

“Can we do anything to help her?”

Corvina wiped her tears away and gave a curt nod. “I have remedies for a wound like this, but I need to clean and stitch the wound first. There is a wooden tray in the cabinet behind you with vials and the other things I will need. Fetch it for me.”

With a nod she turned around and walked toward the cabinet. The doors creaked as Leora opened them, and inside laid the tray exactly as Corvina described. Leora took the tray in her hands and lifted it out of the cabinet slowly, the glass bottles clinking together with the movement.

She turned to see Lucille’s blood dripping from Corvina’s mouth, fangs glinting in the candle light. Corvina’s eyes shifted to Leora and her mouth turned into a sick blood soaked grin. Leora blinked and suddenly the blood, and grin, was gone.

She shoved the vision aside. There were more important matters at hand; Lucille needed aid.

Slowly and steadily, so as not to break anything, she brought the tray over to Corvina and placed it on the bed beside the unconscious Lucille.

“Thank you, Leora. Now go. I must focus on this, no distractions.”

“Yes, Mother Corvina. Please… save her.”

Corvina gave Leora a comforting smile but her eyes showed only sorrow.

Leora left the room and shut the door behind her. The stress and anxiety hit her body all at once, making her knees feel weak and tired. She pressed her back against the wall near the door and slid down to the floor, bringing her knees to her chest.

Lucille’s state did not look good; she was pale and looked to have lost a lot of blood. The nightmare Leora had experienced played over and over in her mind. She wondered if Corvina had lied about what happened, and if the truth was more in line with her visions. Something about the situation set off warning bells in her mind.

It was all too confusing and instead of debating it further, she decided to believe her Superior. After all, why would she lie?

She prayed that Corvina could help Lucille and sobbed quietly into her knees as she waited.

. . .

Leora was woken by a tap on her shoulder and a gentle whisper of her name. She had fallen asleep while waiting on the floor outside the infirmary. Groggy and dizzy, she looked to who had woken her and found Corvina’s smiling face.

“Wake up, child. I have news to share.”

Leora rubbed her eyes to make sure it wasn’t another nightmare.

“Is Luci okay? Will she be okay?”

Corvina gave a gentle nod and offered Leora a hand. Leora took it and pulled herself up from the floor, dusting off her habit. She was led by her hand into the infirmary where Lucille was asleep - but alive.

“I managed to stabilize the bleeding and clean the wound. I did what I could and I believe that she has very high odds of survival. With my tinctures, potions and a lot of prayer, she will recover. But…”

“But? But what?” The worry was audible in Leora’s voice.

Corvina placed a gentle hand on Leora’s cheek. “But she may not be the same when she wakes. I unfortunately did not make it here in time to save her completely. Her memories may have been damaged by the lack of blood in her body.”

Leora’s mind flashed back to the times Lucille and her had spent together. Their smiles and laughter, the tears and joy.

“She was a sinner, Leora. This is a good opportunity for her to start over and cleanse herself of her past.”

“What? A sinner? No, that is not true. She was good. The kindest nun at Sacred Night. She was always there when I needed her. She was even trying to help me when you took her on that mission.”

Corvina raised an eyebrow at her. “She was, was she? Help you with what, exactly?”

Suddenly, Leora was afraid. She had slipped up and had to come clean to her Superior about what happened. An unfortunate mistake that led to an uncomfortable conversation; how she enjoyed a demon’s touch.

“I was attacked - raped - by a demon here at Sacred Night. It was awful. The demon was wearing one of our habits and had a human smile. Lucille came to check on me when I missed service and I told her everything. She said that she was to speak to you and ask for your aid in exorcising the demon. Did she tell you any of this?”

Corvina shook her head, her eyes showing sympathy.

“No, this is the first I am hearing of this terrible event. I am so sorry, little Leora. I have failed you as your Abbess.”

“What? This is not your fault, Sister Superior!”

“You do not understand, child. I knew that Lucille was a demon and I let her stay in the Abbey all the same.”

Leora couldn’t believe what she heard. The shock made her heart stop for a moment, her ears ringing.

“No… that - she is my best friend. Surely I would have noticed if she was a demon?”

Corvina sighed. “Sadly not. She is a demon of high seniority and with that strength comes equally powerful ability. She has powers of persuasion and obfuscation. She used her kindness to convince you to let your guard down. There is no shame in it, child. Demons are very good at this sort of thing.”

Leora furrowed her brow and turned away from Corvina. She wrestled with her memories of Lucille and brought them to the forefront of her mind, skimming them for any sort of sign, anything that she could have missed. She was oblivious to the eyes burning in flame behind her, reaching into her thoughts.

The memories she searched through caught alight, one by one. The vision of Lucille taking the knife for Corvina - with bliss on her face and adoration in her eyes - haunted her.

Leora’s head ached. She grew more dizzy with each memory that turned to ash. Her body was unsteady and she began to sway.

She fell backwards and Corvina was there to catch her. Her superior whispered in her ear.

“She lied to you, Leora.”

Corvina hung on every vowel and all but sang the whisper directly into Leora’s brain.

“She was tempting you to sin. She gave you the vial and did not warn you of the curse it held.”

Leora begged her mind to stay afloat. She tried to find some kind of handhold to grip, any memory of Lucille that could contradict what she was hearing. She found nothing.

“Lucille is a sinner, Leora. A sinner could not be your best friend.”

“N-no. She is not a sinner. I trusted - trust her. I do.”

Corvina exposed Leora’s hair and bit her ear, crooning into it with a tone that made the nun blush. “Do you trust her more than you trust me?”

Leora’s whole body shuddered and tingled. It was an unfair question, forcing her to compare the two relationships in her life in a vacuum.

“I cannot answer such a question, Sister Superior. It is much too difficult to say which of the two of you I trust more. I trust you both equally.”

Leora felt that reward hit her cunt. It was a lie, even if she did not realize it consciously. It caught her with her guard down. She failed to suppress a moan and covered her mouth in surprise, her cheeks turning bright pink.

“Good girl.” Corvina growled the praise into Leora’s ear, one of her hands gripping Leora’s breast. Leora’s head started to fill with fog, shutting off the rational part of her brain and leaving the one that knew the real answer behind.

“Now, tell the truth. Who do you trust more?”

The voice reverberated inside her head. She could feel the breath on her ear move down to her neck. As if to make the question even more unfair, Corvina found Leora’s nipple through all the fabric and gently tugged on it.

“I - I - trust Lucille more. I am so sorry.”

Corvina laughed and bit Leora’s neck, squeezing her breast a little harder.

We will just have to fix that, will we not? It just will not do to have you trust anyone more than you trust your Mother Superior.”

She punctuated the statement by licking Leora’s neck.

Mother Corvina, it is inappropriate for a nun to touch another this way... I do not want this.”

Another mind-numbing spark of pleasure for another lie. This time she didn’t even try hide her moan, letting it ring out and bounce off the walls of the infirmary. Corvina’s free hand slipped underneath Leora’s skirt and ran a soft finger along her slit.

Leora tried to fight, to wrench herself free from the inappropriate touching but Corvina was too strong.

“Wet already. I see the demonic corruption has had an effect on you, child. It is important for me to understand the damage this sinner caused to you. My Leora. That way, I can begin to fix you.”

The finger gently stroked her wetness and grazed her clit. Leora tried to scream but what came out instead was a whorish moan. The darkness inside her was taking over and she couldn’t stop it.

“I think I shall burn out the trust you have for Lucille, little by little. Her evil has clearly tainted your mind. A silly little thing like you could not see the signs, could not protect herself. It is a good thing I am here to help, is it not?”

Leora wanted to nod but before she could, the thing controlling her body nodded for her.

“Can you even remember how you two met? What you talked about? Any memories you two have were fabricated by her magick. My Light purified you of their burden on you, so that you can make an objective choice. It had gone on too long, you had to find out that your entire friendship was based on deceit.”

She searched through the fog for memories of Lucille but turned up naught. Her attempts to think made her head ache and throb. She audibly whined in frustration and agony.

“Poor thing. She raped you and then convinced you that you two were friends. Your little head could not handle the pressure and crumbled. I only wish I would have caught what she was doing to you sooner.”

Corvina gently flicked a finger back and forth across Leora’s nipple, each flick making her mind skip a beat. As if that wasn’t enough, the hand between her legs added another finger, applying pressure and stroking back and forth along the tender flesh, but never entering.

“After all she has done to you, how can you trust her more than me? I am wounded, Leora. You should apologize for losing faith in your Abbess.”

“I - Sorry. Sorry… sorry! I am so sorry. Please stop, please. Please. I cannot think.”

Her Superior’s breath was hot against her neck and the hands on her body did not stop, no matter how hard she begged.

“I do not need you to think. I need you to trust me. Do you trust me?”

Every fiber in her body tingled as her mind shut down, leaving the lust-filled husk behind.

“Yes, oh God, yes. I trust - I trust you, Mother Superior.”

She was close to the feeling of climax she had experienced before and it was growing ever closer. The need for it overwhelmed her.

“Do. Not. Cum. I do not give you permission. I am not like that demon, I will not let you fall to sin. Endure.”

Leora whimpered as a cork was placed on her arousal, preventing it from spilling over into climax. It did not take long for it to begin to feel like torture.

Do you trust that slut of Satan? The girl who twisted you into this pathetic mess of a nun?”

Leora nodded. She did trust Lucille. Corvina growled in response and pinched her nipple, hard enough to hurt.

“Wrong. You trust only me. That is the only way I can protect you. You are much too stupid to be left alone. Only I can fill you with this much light. Only your Abbess can purify your filth. You want to be purified by me, do you not?”

It was all she wanted. The words echoed inside her until they became her own thoughts, until she could no longer tell the difference.

“Yes, Mother Corvina. I trust only you. I need to be purified by you. Fill me with your Light.”

The hands pulled away, leaving her thighs feeling sticky and her breast feeling tender. Corvina turned her around so that they could face one another. The fingers slick with her juices slipped into her mouth and pulled her gaze upwards into her Superior’s eyes.

Good girl. Enjoy the taste of your sin being cleansed. You will attend the ritual tonight. You have no choice.”

The fingers in her mouth nodded her head for her. She had no choice. Her Superior’s fingers left her mouth and were replaced with Corvina’s tongue. Her superior held the back of her head in place, the two women sharing a deep kiss.

Leora was filled with bliss.

I have an errand to run. Be good while I am gone, my love.”

Suddenly, a chime rang. Leora blinked, clearing the blurry feeling from her eyes. There was no sign of Corvina and she wondered how long she had been standing there. Her gaze drifted to her right to find the demon that lay unconscious and wounded in the infirmary bed.

She searched her heart for any emotions as she looked at the spawn of Satan before her. The thing that hurt her, twisted her, corrupted her. She tried to find an ounce of kindness and sympathy but instead,

Leora felt nothing but contempt.

. . .

To describe Leora’s feelings around the ritual as ‘nerves’ would be an understatement. She was positively petrified. This was to be her first ritual. They happened weekly but it was usually the same nuns picked to enact them each week.

Leora had not been a nun long enough to be chosen for a ritual and the fact that she had finally been chosen by Corvina filled her with pride. Unfortunately, due to the selective nature around them, Leora had not been able to glean what they entailed.

She wanted to ask Corvina what to expect but she had been missing all day, on some kind of important errand. Gathering ingredients for the ritual, Leora thought.

As part of the ritual, the nuns who attended were to wear a special ritual cloak. It was similar to the one Corvina wore during Leora’s firsts, but with a silver trim instead of the Superior’s gold. She dressed in her normal habit and then entered the hall where a few Sisters waited for her.

They placed the ritual cloak over Leora’s habit and secured it in place at the waist and head. Once secured appropriately, the cloak and habit underneath were one complete piece.

The tail of the cloak was significantly longer than Leora was used to. It trailed on the ground behind her and created an amount of drag, making the walk to the ritual room ever so slightly more difficult than usual.

Sister Alicia gave her a hesitant smile. There was a hint of jealousy in her eyes but alongside it, there was pride for her fellow sister.

“You look beautiful, Leora. I wish you luck with the ritual, it is likely to be quite spiritually demanding.”

“Thank you, Alicia. Demanding? Should I be as afraid as I feel?”

Alicia gestured to the crucifix attached to Leora’s hip. “There is no reason to feel fear when the Lord is at your side, Leora. Take a deep breath and go with confidence.”

Even though the two had hardly spoken, she felt a deep sense of camaraderie between the Sisters. Alicia had placed her jealousy aside in order to help Leora, and for that Leora was grateful, even if it would be better for there to be no jealousy at all.

Leora hoped that with some time and small gestures the two could be friends.

“Enough delaying. Get in there. You do not want to the keep Mother Superior waiting. She gets very… antsy.”

Alicia opened the doors and gestured for Leora to enter. Leora nodded and waved goodbye to Alicia as she walked by. Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the dim candlelight of the ritual room. The doors shut behind her and with a click, they were locked.

There could be no interruptions when the ritual took place and that meant that Leora was trapped until it was completed. Leora gulped and made her way to the altar where Corvina was waiting. As she climbed the step up to the stage, Corvina offered her a guiding hand.

Even though it was the second time Leora had seen her in them, she was still stunned by how incredible Corvina looked in her ritual robes. The gold trim highlighted the color of her eyes and was a beautiful contrast to the red of her lips.

Leora took her Superior’s hand in her own and was led to the center of the altar where something lay hidden beneath a cloth.

“Welcome, Leora. Are you ready for your first ritual? I know you must be filled with anxiety.”

It always surprised Leora how well Corvina could predict her emotions, almost as if she were reading her mind. She gave a tiny little nod and squeaked out a response. Something about the room had begun to make her feel small and her head feel foggy.

“Um. Yes. I still do not know what to do or -”

“Follow my lead. Do not think, it will only get in the way. Let the feeling of the Lord’s Light fill you and guide your hand.”

Leora’s mind immediately went silent, her eyes glazing over.

“Yes, Mother Superior.”

“Good. Now, remove the cloth that lays before you.”

Leora did as she was told, lifting the cloth to unveil a sleeping woman on her knees. A rope was tied around the ponytail on her head and connected with a perfect tension to her hands restrained behind her back.

The rope that linked her hands was secured to her ankles, locking down every single one of her extremities. Between her legs was a wooden rod that made her knees spread apart, so that she could not easily fall to either side.

The combination of restraints created an uncomfortable looking pose, forcing the girl to have her back straight and her head up.

A voice inside her told her that this wasn’t right, that she should question why the woman was here, but Leora ignored it. She was told not to think.

“When I give you a cue, I need you to do something for me. You will do it for me, will you not?”

She stared blankly and smiled.

“Of course, Mother Superior.”

Corvina caressed Leora’s cheek and slipped a thumb past her lips, an action that Leora now associated with a feeling of submissive bliss. It even further emptied out her mind, exactly how Corvina had trained her.

Her superior stared down at her with pride.

“So well trained already. When I say so, I need you to reach inside her and take what you crave. Is that clear?”

With the thumb still in her mouth, Leora nodded and smiled. There was no light behind her eyes. It wasn’t clear, not really. She did not know what she craved or how to reach inside of the woman, but she trusted Corvina’s process all the same.

Corvina began to recite a spell from her memory. It was in a language unlike any that Leora had ever heard and she could make no sense of it. If her mind had been functioning correctly her curiosity for knowledge would have been nagging at her, but in her current state it was so much easier to just let her Superior’s voice fade into the background.

The air around Corvina began to crackle with energy. Leora could feel it coursing through the air and into her through the digit in her mouth. It flowed throughout her body and made every muscle tingle, including the budding horns on her head.

Line after line was spoken by Corvina, the candles around them surging and burning brighter.

She wasn’t sure if Corvina had switched to English or if some other kind of deeper knowledge unlocked in her brain, but the outcome was the same either way: Leora could now understand the words being spoken.

“Before us is a sinner. A woman of lust. We offer her to you as sacrifice so that you may grace us with your knowledge, protect the Abbey, and fill us with your blessing. Free her of her sinful soul to balance out the Light inside her.”

Corvina turned to Leora and removed the thumb from her mouth, rubbing the saliva off on Leora’s face. She gestured for Leora to take her place at the altar, stepping aside to make way.

Leora looked down at the girl before her and felt pity. She knelt down in front of the woman of sin and stared intently at the closed eyes before her. For the ritual to proceed, she needed the girl’s eyes to be open.

It was not clear to Leora where she had gathered that information but she was able to summon it when it was necessary. She snapped her fingers next to the girl’s ears to wake her from her slumber.

The girl made a small groan as she woke, trying to move the arms restrained behind her and failing. Leora could see the panic begin to set in as the girl opened her eyes, the pupils darting around the room. They settled on Corvina.

“W-What is this place? Where am I?”

“You are at the Sacred Night Abbey. I, the Abbess, brought you here so that you might be saved.”

“Sacred…” Her eyes turned to Leora and sparkled with recognition. “Leora? Is that you? Oh, thank the Gods you are alright. I had heard this is where you were taken but nobody knew where the Abbey was.”

Leora had a blank stare of confusion on her face. She did not immediately recognize the woman before her, but she clearly knew Leora.

“I was not taken. My Mistress saved me.”

Corvina placed a hand on Leora’s shoulder.

Listen to me, Leora. I found her in a brothel, spreading her sinful lust and accepting coin for it too. Do not be swayed by her wiles. She has laid with the devil and embraced the dark. She needs to be saved.”

The girl seemed distraught, panicked. Leora thought the reaction strange for a woman privileged enough to be brought into the confines of a place as prestigious as this. It was a blessing to have the opportunity to be forgiven.

“It’s me, Leora. Kristina.”

Leora’s eyes sparked up in Corvina’s flame. The energy of the spell began to fill her with warmth. It was soon time for her part of the ritual. Her hand reached up toward Kristina’s face and hovered there with an open palm.

“One day you were at home and the next you vanished. Why did you leave?”

Corvina had offered to save her from her awful life before the convent, that was why she left. Leora looked deep into Kristina’s eyes and began to extend her spirit and will into the other woman. She began searching inside her for something. Somewhere deep down, she knew what to look for.

“S-stop. Please. This hurts… What have they done to you for you to not remember your own sister?”

Leora paused her search. Her mind forced itself awake and the voice inside her screamed for her to fight.

Corvina knelt down behind Leora and pressed into her back. Leora could feel the warmth of her Superior against her. A hand reached around and found Leora’s breast and began distractingly massaging the sensitive flesh.

Her Abbess whispered into her ear and her brain began to slip away from her grasp.

“Do you not want to save her, Leora? The sinner is trying to tempt you with lies. Do you remember how your family treated you? How they hurt you? I saved you, Leora. This thing pretending to be your sister does not understand the bliss of our Lord’s blessing.

We should show her.”

Leora’s head began to throb. Conflicting realities clashed in her head and it was impossible to tell which was real.

“Leora, stop. I can tell that you’re still inside there. I know that you think this is wrong, deep down. I don’t know what she’s done to you but you can fight her.”

She could feel Corvina’s fury build, an energy in the air akin to the spell she had cast earlier.

“Silence, whore. She is mine. Corrupt her not with your sinful ideas and lies. You trust me, Leora. You want this.”

The hand on her breast dug its claws possessively into her skin. The pain felt good, and the fog returned to her mind.

“I trust you, Mistress.”

Kristina’s face showed pain as she tried to struggle more, her hair being tugged harshly by the rope.

“I know my sister far better than you do, heretic. She is kind and good hearted, and your influence over her is fleeting. Leora, save me.”

With calm and grace, Corvina moved behind Kristina and placed a ball-shaped gag into her mouth, securing it behind her head with straps. The girl screamed into the gag, her eyes filled with panic.

“If you do not listen to orders then I have to find other ways to silence your deceit.”

Corvina ran a claw along the girl’s cheek, looking at Leora with a grin.

“Leora, my love, think of the Abbey. Think of how Lucille tricked and manipulated you. This whore is doing the same. There is a reason why I chose you for this ritual: you need to learn to resist temptation.

A sinner like this should never sway your devotion to the Lord. You know what must be done.”

‘Take her soul.’

Leora’s head was a swirl of fog and confusing thoughts, but the order was easy to understand.

She surged her will back into the girl in front of her, searching deep inside the girl. After a few moments, Leora found her target. She gripped the orb that comprised Kristina’s soul and began to pull, her irises glowing brighter than ever.

‘Good girl. Take it. You need to feed.’

Kristina started crying. Her face showed anguish and pain, confusion and betrayal.

‘Her emotions are lies. A facade to trick you. Pathetic thing is only trying to use your kind heart against you.’

Leora poured more of her energy into Kristina, weakening the tethers of her soul. Kristina’s breathing became fast and ragged, her eyes beginning to glaze over as more and more of her soul left her body.

‘Take. Take. Take. Take.’

The sensation Leora was feeling was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. Droplets of Kristina’s soul began to manifest in Leora’s hand as it hovered before them.

More and more of the girl’s life force came under Leora’s sway and she realized that she could not care less about the woman she was taking from. She had a need so deep down inside that once she had a taste, she couldn’t stop.

It had to be sated.

The light left the girl’s eyes as the last remnants of her soul were taken away. She was still alive, but left a puppet whose strings were left loose.

Leora released her will from Kristina and inspected the orb of light that floated in just above her palm. It swirled in an otherworldly fashion and had an almost liquid-like quality.

“Good girl, Leora. You have done so well. There is just one thing left to do and I know how much you need it. You have had the slightest taste as a result of the extraction - think about how good it will feel to consume it all.”

Corvina kneeled beside her and, with a tender hand, guided the orb toward Leora’s mouth.

Leora had enough sense in her head to ask a question, even if she knew it would not change what was about to happen.

“What will this do to me? What is happening to me?”

“Oh, Leora, you are ever curious. It was your search for knowledge that put you in this predicament, I suppose it is only fair that you know what you have done to yourself.” Corvina cooed in her ear. “The darkness inside you is growing hungry. Consuming your first soul will allow it to fully manifest.”

Her superior laughed and it sounded like a hundred voices laughed in unison.

“You are becoming a demon, Leora.”

Leora froze, fear bringing her mind out of the fog once again.

“B-but I thought - I - I thought you were helping me fight the curse. I thought… I trusted you.”

“You still do, I made you that way. I created the curse, stupid girl. Your pathetic human eyes could not yet see the traces of my energy in the spell. I have been pulling your strings, whispering to you in the dark, twisting your will, all to get you here.”

Corvina ran a claw along Leora’s inner thigh as she spoke, snakes beginning to leave her shadow and coil around Leora’s limbs.

“I stacked the deck in my favor, yes, but you still put up quite a fight. You should be proud. Though, that is why I chose you.”

A shiver ran down Leora’s spine as the claw sliced the skirt of her habit to allow further access. The hand that held the soul before her trembled.

“Chose me?”

“Mm, yes. Chose you. I have all the little nuns of the Abbey under my sway but none of them deserved this. They all would have cracked and broken months ago. You, through sheer strength of will or utter stupidity, did not. When I found you, I knew that you were special.”

She could not help but feel pleasure at the praise, even now. Corvina thought she was special and that made her happy. Corvina noticed and grinned wider.

“You are fucked. You are so well conditioned that even as I tell you this you cannot help but want me. The best thing about all this, Leora, is that while I lied and manipulated you, you did this to yourself. I did not even have to make you love me like I did with Rosa or Lucille.

Your love is real and all your own.”

Leora audibly gasped. Rosa.

“Adria… You were Adria? All this time I had been searching for something that was right in front of me all along. How could I have been so blind?”

Corvina laughed.

“A name that I have not used in over century. I knew it would sound so delicious to hear it from your lips when you found out. It was well worth the wait.”

Corvina was immortal. As the final piece of the puzzle fell into place, the whole picture suddenly became clear. The mystery she had been looking to solve had finally been put to rest. Yet, with the realization and clarity, still she held onto the soul before her.

“You are now wondering why you are still here, why you have not even tried to fight or run away from this room, correct? Well, that is because you do not want to. I was not lying before. You had a taste, and you need more.

I timed the reveal of my hand deliberately, Leora, so that when time finally came… you would be too far gone to stop yourself.”

Leora wanted to stop. She wanted to drop the soul she held in her hand and run, escape the convent and never look back. Yet, here she was, kneeling and salivating. It was shameful and disgusting, and it made her cunt wet.

“You poor thing. So conflicted. The darkness inside you has become so overwhelming that you do not even try to deny my words. I could be lying to you, everything a complete fabrication, and you would still sit there. You are being torn apart by the demon that hungers and the pathetic girl who thinks she can still resist.”

A finger ran along her dripping slit and Leora moaned, her whole body arching in pleasure.

“I can make it easier, you know. I can just force you to consume the soul, relieving you of the responsibility and the difficulty of choice. Either way, there will be no going back from this. Just beg, and I will take away all of your stress and concerns.”

Leora bit her lip and whined. It was an illusion, a choice still had to be made. She looked at the empty girl in front of her and wondered if she felt bliss in the nothingness. Leora closed her eyes and let out a sigh, resigning herself to her fate.

She decided that if she was going to irrevocably go down this path, it would be on her own.

Leora opened her mouth and tilted her head back, sticking out her tongue. She poured the soul onto her tongue, letting it spill into her mouth and over her chin. The taste was beyond human words and it filled her with an energy that swirled down to her very core.

The soul was changing her.

“Good girl, Leora. I can see the shape of your own spirit morphing into something exquisite. Do not fight it, let it in.”

Thoughts and memories flitted in and out of her head, but they were not her own. Each and every drop of Kristina’s soul contained a hundred fragments of her life. Leora felt each and every emotion, each and every rise and fall of Kristina’s life go by in a flash.

It was exhilarating.

The final few drops of Kristina’s soul hit Leora’s tongue and she swallowed without hesitation. In that instant, the light of Kristina vanished forever.

She was rewarded by Corvina slowly and gently easing a finger past her lower lips, making sure to be careful with the virginal nun. The pleasure of sin overwhelmed her senses.

“So wet. A demon like you was not made for chastity, you were made for sex.”

Leora spread her legs and bucked her hips. She leaned back and placed her hands behind her for balance, feeling her claws dig into the stone of the altar and slicing stone. Her inhumanly long tongue hung out of her mouth in a point, exhaling steam in the cold air of the ritual room.

A knot formed at her lower back that ached and burned, and the horns on her head grew out to a visible length underneath the hood of her habit. Her eyes seared in flame and burned brighter with each moment.

Corvina slowly worked the finger in and out of Leora’s cunt, her juices dripping onto the altar. Leora panted and moaned loud enough that if the Lord were listening, he would hear her fall.

“Mistress - please - I need to stop. Any further and I will not be able to come back.”

Corvina growled into her ear and rubbed Leora’s clit with her thumb.

“Good. You need to plunge headfirst into the dark and never return. You have no choice.”

She was close. Between the teasing earlier in the day and the constant feeling of arousal she had been suffering with as of late, Leora was already nearing the edge of climax. Even if there was a girl deep inside that wanted to have the choice, Corvina was stripping it from her.

With the energy flowing into her, Leora began to see things that were previously hidden from her human sight. Two extra eyes revealed themselves on Corvina’s face and dark wings extended out from her back, unfurling into beautiful tapestries.

“I told you that night in the hall that I expected you to beg the next time we met and that remains true. Beg, Leora. Beg to become my infernal pet. Beg for the opportunity to join me in eternity, my love.”

Leora’s mind was scrambled by the pleasure. The demon that raped her was Corvina, she had been lying the entire time. Each break with reality took more of a toll on her mental state. She was holding onto her sanity - and humanity - by a thread and somehow Corvina knew it was about to snap.

“You consumed a soul, slut. There is no point in fighting me, God cannot save you now. There is only one way out of this room and that is to break. So just. Give. In.”

Corvina punctuated the command with a couple thrusts of her fingers. It was too much for her to take. Leora heard a crack in her mind as the thread snapped in two. Any part of her that was holding back, even subconsciously, crumbled away.

With a lust-filled moan she screamed out what Corvina had been waiting for.

“Please! Fuck - please let me join you for eternity, please. I want to fall into the flames of Hell, never to return. I need more souls, I need more sex, I need more of you. Please.”

Whispers of praise filled her head, echoes upon echoes of Corvina’s voice shattering more and more of her.

“Good girl. Very good girl. Tempted with knowledge and pleasure, you fell down the rabbit hole. Is the Hatter’s tea as delicious as you had imagined?”

Leora’s face showed only bliss yet tears streaked down her face. She had thrown away her chance at Heaven for a chance to stray further from God’s light and she had never felt happier.

“Yes yes yes. Sin tastes so good. Please. More. Please.”

Corvina laughed and shoved her fingers into Leora’s mouth. Leora felt the pressure build with every passing moment. Each breath and each stroke brought her closer to the edge until she was riding it, moaning and whining around her Superior’s fingers.

“Mm, I like the idea of a lust-motivated demon who cannot climax without my permission. I think I shall keep training you as such. Say ‘Thank you, Mistress.’”

Leora tried to say the words around the fingers in her mouth but all that came out was a series of desperate muffled sounds that vaguely sounded correct.

“Good girl. Cum.”

The words ripped through her psyche and pushed her over the edge. Leora’s hips thrust against Corvina’s fingers, arching her back in a beautiful shape. Her juices stained the altar with each uncontrollable convulsion, her toes curling against the stone.

With the climax came something far greater than pleasure. The knot at her lower back burst free, revealing a spaded tail in crimson. The horns on her head grew longer and her fangs sharper. Her whole body shifted and altered to better suit its new purpose.

She realized in her reverie that Corvina was pumping a kind of energy into her. It was a white-hot lightning that struck her clit and emptied out her mind. Fragments of her life before this moment shattered into a kaleidoscope of color. As the orgasm continued, more and more of her mind became Corvina’s.

She was being converted to a new faith and Corvina was her God.

She had never felt so full of devotion. Corvina removed the fingers from Leora’s mouth and her drool dripped from her tongue onto her chest.

“You were addicted to my drug but now, you are simply addicted to me. Is that not so?”

“Yes! Oh God, I need you. Save me, help me. Someone.” Leora’s voice sounded weak and tired.

“Stupid girl. I am your Savior. I am saving you from that pesky little head of yours. Human minds always were an obstacle for me to conquer and I have claimed yours.”

Leora wished she could disagree but instead nodded with a dumb smile on her face.

“The most delicious thing of all is that you are happy with this. You can blame the changes on your new body, you can even blame me. However, the truth of it is that you wanted this every step of the way.

Poor little Leora, destined to be filled with sin. Chained to your better half on your knees. Are you happy?”

Chains that were not found in reality snared her thoughts and her limbs. They connected her to Corvina’s will, the harsh cold puppet strings nodding for her.

“Oh, I am so relieved. I have been so nervous. All I want is for you to be happy, Leora.”

Her whole life, Leora had always wanted to be happy. Here Corvina was, offering her kindness and care, doing everything in her power to help Leora be happy. She had been taking the blessing for granted.

“All that is left is for you to take your Final Vows and then we can be together, forever. In one moon’s cycle the time will be right for the ritual. I trust you to wait patiently until then, Leora.”

One month was both a short amount of time as well as an agonizing wait. Corvina trusted her to wait, so she would wait. Anything for an eternity with Corvina.

Leora’s vision began to cloud, her consciousness slipping away. Her tired arms buckled and Corvina was there to catch her, like a guardian angel.

Her Superior’s twisted grin was the last thing she saw before sleep snatched her from reality.

. . .

It was the middle of the night when Leora woke with a start. The familiarity of the smell of her bedsheets calmed her. She was back in her room and with a deep pang inside her, she hoped it had all been a bad dream.

She reached a hand down to her lower back, running her hand along the curve of her back, skin velvet soft. Her fingers came into contact with the base of a tail and her whole body froze in fear.

It was no dream.

The consequences of the prior night’s ritual played in her mind. Echoes of Corvina’s words and flashes of her actions filled her with shame.

The shame gave her a flash of heat between her thighs, tempting her.

She gently felt along her new tail, taking in its ridges and patterns. The extremity was extremely sensitive and tender, like the new skin after a blister had healed. It sent shivers up her spine and made her feel even hotter.

There was a knock on her door and she jolted back into a laying position, her flushed cheeks a dead giveaway to the arousal she was feeling.

The door opened without pause and Alicia entered. She was holding a tray with a pitcher of water, some rags, and some freshly picked flowers. The girl’s eyes lit up in relief when she saw Leora awake.

“Oh, thank Heavens. I have been worried about you. From what Corvina told me, the ritual was very intense and that you needed rest. How are you feeling?”

Leora wondered why Alicia was not reacting to the horns atop Leora’s head.

“I - I feel fine, Alicia. Thank you for asking, and thank you for checking on me.”

Alicia simply smiled and set the tray down on Leora’s bedside table, wetting one of the rags and turning toward Leora.

“It is my duty as a nun, think nothing of it. You look like you are running a fever. Here, put this rag on your head, it will help cool you down.”

Leora took the damp rag and placed it on her forehead, surprisingly cold in contrast to her flushed skin.

“Alicia, do you notice anything strange about me? I mean, outwardly.”

Alicia tilted her head in confusion.

“Whatever do you mean? I see nothing out of the ordinary at all.”

The answer confused Leora. Could Alicia not see her horns?

“Would you mind doing me a favor, Alicia? Could you feel my head for lumps? I have this itch on my skull that is concerning me, like I maybe bumped my head during the ritual last night.”

“Of course, Sister.”

Alicia leaned in close and began feeling across Leora’s scalp, searching for any bumps or bruises. Leora felt Alicia’s hand simply pass through her horns, as if they were not there at all. Whatever magick was flowing through Leora must have made it so that her horns were obfuscated from reality, despite them being very real for Leora.

A small blessing. Others would not immediately be able to tell how she had fallen. She thought on Corvina’s extra eyes and wings and wondered if her Superior could control when they appeared. Hidden from human eyes and touch until she willed them to exist.

She could smell the floral perfume Alicia wore on her neck as the girl checked her scalp. The flesh was within reach, all Leora would have to do was lift the nun’s hood, lean in, and bite. The thought of human blood made her tail flick behind her excitedly.

Foreign instincts burned inside Leora, coaxing her to take what she needed. A demon can simply take what she desires from humans, after all.

‘So take it. You want to. Make her Satan’s whore. Drink. Take her.’

Leora opened her mouth and leaned forward. In a voice that reverberated and practically sparked with energy, Leora gave Alicia a command.

“Do not move, Alicia. I want you.”

Alicia visibly shivered and poorly suppressed a moan.

“Y-yes, Leora.”

“Good girl.”

Leora lifted the hood of Alicia’s habit, exposing the skin beneath. Her hot breath made Alicia’s flesh react with visible goosebumps. Without hesitation or second thought, she sunk her teeth into Alicia’s neck and promptly released, her canines creating two holes from which blood began to flow.

Leora licked at the blood, her whole body shivering as a deep need inside was fulfilled.

Each drop was blissfully delicious to Leora, as if it were a nectar that she had been searching for her whole life. After a few moments she pulled away from Alicia’s neck and looked into her ember-lit eyes with hunger.

She wanted more.

Leora reached inside of Alicia with her will just as she did to the girl in the ritual. She rifled through Alicia’s thoughts and memories, searching for the light that was her soul. Her target surged with purity, a virgin soul.

She gripped the soul and heard Alicia moan, the sound snapping her out of the hunger. The reality of what she had almost done filled her with dread.

With fear and horror in her eyes, she released her grip on Alicia’s soul, pushing her away.

“Get out. Alicia, leave me.”

“But, Leora, I —”

“I said LEAVE!

The untamed power in Leora’s voice was drawn out by her emotion, creating a command that Alicia could not refuse.

Alicia stood and walked out of the room without pause or so much as a glance behind her.

Leora fell to her knees and sobbed. She was afraid.

Though it made her heart ache to think of, she had to leave Corvina and the Abbey behind. Corvina’s grip on her was too great to resist, she could not ask her Superior for help. Lucille was an empty shell, still asleep in the infirmary.

If she left the convent and never returned, maybe then she could wake from this nightmare.

Thus, Leora waited for night to fall. In the darkness, she shut the doors to Sacred Night behind her. She felt eyes boring into the back of her skull as she ran into the woods but she did not turn. She could not, she thought to herself, give in to the temptation to look behind her.

Through delusion or ignorance, she decided this was the only way for the Abbey to be safe.

Safe from herself.

Okay, I lied. This is the hottest thing I've ever written.

I am so proud of this chapter. It is so incredibly good and I have reread it a dozen times over. Only a little farther to go now!!
