The Librarian
Back at Her Apartment

All that Katrina knew sometime after was a comfortable darkness, slowly coming off the satisfying high of a luxurious dream. A deep inhaling made her aware of her body, the easy breath that slightly stirred relaxed muscles, aching in only the right ways, after what felt like a gratuitous slumber. Sunlight pouring in her room hit part of her body told her how early it was as she yawned gloriously, just breathing, and thinking of the crazily-satisfying dream.
"Mmmmm," Katrina thought to herself, vaguely remembering the fantastic, erotic details filling her tingling brain and body. Mostly used to dreams reflecting depressing days or unhappy responsibilities, it felt like she was being rewarded for all she dealt with on a daily basis. She stretched her body mostly under the sheets, opening her eyes slowly to glance over at the clock on her nightstand. Without her glasses on, it didn't hit her at first what the L.E.D. told her about the day of the week. She never felt this good in the morning except for Sundays, her day off. But even blurry vision told her she was looking at TUES, and not SUN denoting the day. Grabbing her glasses, horror was confirmed that she'd slept in on a weekday. Panic in her wide eyes shot through the rest of her, shocked into action to get to open the library which she needed to open past the opening time. Amber would rip her a new one when she found out.
Swinging her legs off of the bed, she hastily started to look for last night's clothes to put on to get her very late day started. A moan from behind startled her, and whose moan it was almost made her jump out of her skin - Amber was sleeping next to her, just about naked except for a pair of black panties slid halfway down her thighs. Her hand covered what the panties should have, moving deliberately across her crotch, despite the deep sleep she seemed to be still lost in.
"No...no...it was a dream...it-" Looking down next to the top she wore the night before was the large tome that was the source of all the craziness invading her life in the past ten hours.
Picking up the large book, she was afraid to open it, afraid and eerily excited for the magic to be again as wantonly as before. Throwing it open with force, she stared down at blank, white pages that remained as they were. Confusion danced across Katrina's features as her fingertips flipped through all the pages, running her fingertips across some of them, trying to prompt the same reaction to prove whether she was crazy. The book gave her nothing, as harmless and uninspiring as all the textbooks strewn around her room.
Standing in the middle of her room in only her bra and jeans, she could only piece together the previous night from what was. Everything seemed normal, from her attire to the apparent passage of time; only Amber's sleeping, masturbating form hinted at her dreams being the reality she dared not believe was real for her sanity. The more she reached into her memories to piece things together, the wetter she got; she had to take her pants off before they stained with her excitement. There was even a jolt of excitement in hearing her roommate leaving her room to go to the kitchen to get coffee. If she caught Katrina and Amber together, suggestively so in the private confines of the librarian's room, scandalous rumors would disseminate too quickly to quell; she kept herself from laughing at the ridiculousness of "if only they knew all of this was due to a magic book."
It was at that thought that Katrina heard Amber stirring herself awake, yawning, eyes opening to see a frightened subordinate turning to meet her gaze, waiting for a reaction.
