a little date
by homohypnoticus
"you look nice today," adrianus said softly, admiring rain from across the table.
for their date, they were just having a simple tea party, with a cute tea set, and some little sandwiches. rain was wearing a dress that fit the occasion. it suited her.
but that wasn't really what he was talking about, when he said she looked nice. he was looking at her face. her soft, subtle, unmoving smile, her sleepy, glassy eyes. her blank stare, which didn't change in the slightest after he spoke.
he poured them both some tea, mixing in the appropriate amounts of cream and sugar, casually asking rain how much she wanted, and if the amount he gave her was right, knowing she wasn't going to answer. he even noticed how her eyes remained fixed in one place, even as he moved in front of her, speaking about her tea, which was not really in her line of sight.
"you know, you have such good manners, dear," he said to her, setting the teapot back down. he took a few slow sips of his tea, watching as she didn't even touch hers, her hands folded politely in her lap, her body relaxed and still.
"it's so nice, having a little date like this with you. we should really do this more often, shouldn't we?" he spoke slowly, in an affectionate, hypnotic tone. "you think so too, don't you? that's good."
a lot of the act was for rain's benefit, but he was very amused with it, himself. there was something beautiful about it, really. because he knew that she would agree with him. he had a pretty good idea of what she was thinking, of what she would say, if she could talk at that moment. so it wasn't difficult to pretend she had responded.
his affection was natural, as well. he wasn't sure what it was about that stillness, that lack of response, that flooded him with love and excitement, but it always did, and it only became better to him the longer it continued. every time he said something, or did something, particularly something he would normally expect her to respond to, and she continued to just sit there, like a doll, like an object, it made him smile just a bit more fondly.
he grabbed one of the sandwiches, eating it in small bites. he wasn't going to eat too much - the point wasn't to be unfair to her, to keep everything to himself. it was just to enjoy their date, to savor every part of it.
"the sandwiches turned out nicely," he said. "you were very helpful earlier, with all of the preparation... you did a good job."
he had put her in a light trance for the preparation, as well. it worked out nicely, giving her those instructions and guiding her through all of that, before putting her in a deeper trance, and making her stay still for the actual date.
it was also nice, having the opportunity to compliment and praise her when she couldn't argue with it.
"oh, don't be modest," he said, knowing what she was probably thinking. "you really did do most of the work. you did very well. i think you deserve to enjoy it."
he finally moved to sit beside her. "here," he said softly, holding up a spoon. "why don't i feed you some of the pudding you made?"
he tipped up her chin, gently parting her lips, pushing the spoon inside. her mouth only moved just enough to accept it and swallow.
"that's right," he cooed, petting her hair. "it's good, isn't it?"
he tried a bite himself. "oh, that is nice. you see? you did do a good job, didn't you?"
he couldn't help but idly pet and caress her, feeling how soft and relaxed her muscles were. her breathing was noticeable up close, but it was nice and slow, and even. he ran a hand along her neck, to feel her heartbeat. it was a bit fast. a reminder that, as still and calm as she was on the outside, she was still feeling all of it.
"you're so cute," he murmured. "why don't you have some tea, before it gets cold?"
he guided her hand to the cup, stroking her arm, feeling it become stiff and firm in the pose he wanted. "that's it," he said, moving her arm, carefully allowing her to take a sip. "that's right... just drink a little bit of it... i made it exactly how you like it..."
she drank a bit more than he expected, before he guided her hand back down, and moved it away from the cup, relaxing her arm again. "what do you think? it's nice, isn't it? i know how you like that..."
it felt so nice, guiding her like that. moving her exactly the way he wanted to. having to help her even with such basic tasks. and she really was doing so well.
he leaned closer, turning her face toward his, looking into her empty, glassy eyes. she was blushing just a bit now. he loved seeing the blood rushing into her cheeks, even as she was so perfectly still and doll-like, almost lifeless.
"you're just being so cute today," he purred. "i just want to kiss you..." he leaned closer, holding her chin just a bit more firmly. "may i kiss you?" he whispered, moving her head so that she was nodding. "perfect..."
his other arm pulled her into an embrace, as he pressed his lips against hers, kissing deeply and lovingly, even as her lips didn't move, even as her arms stayed limply at her sides instead of returning his embrace and caresses. even as she stayed completely silent, while soft hums, murmurs, and moans escaped his mouth.
"i love you too," he whispered against her lips, his hands wandering along her body. "i'm so lucky to have you. you're all mine, aren't you? mm, that's right..."
filling the silence with only his own words, his own romantic affection, his own sweet nothings, only felt natural. there was nothing to hold him back. it was the sort of love that could only be expressed by overwhelming her with it, that could only be expressed with that strange, sticky, obsessive feeling that came from someone being so hungrily affectionate toward someone who had been reduced almost entirely to an object. he knew she was enjoying every moment of it. but he really did mean every word he said. he was only acting on his own feelings and impulses. it really was as if he couldn't help himself, seeing her like that.
the rest of the tea and the food would just have to wait until he was ready to wake her up.
