Virtual Reality
by ghostmaya
Day three of my hypnovember challenge, Virtual Reality! You can check out my prompts on my Tumblr (ghost-maya) or Bluesky (ghostmaya).
It took a while, but I finally managed to jailbreak my VR headset. It was a lot more effort than I thought it’d be—all the Reddit tutorials were unhelpful or outdated. I eventually managed to find a tutorial on someone’s personal website. It was a bit sketchy but definitely worth it.
I sat in my lounge chair, finally ready to play around and see what I could do. The device sat on my head heavily, but I knew I’d forget about it once I was fully immersed. The screen came alive and I was surrounded by the digital world. Curiously, there was an application I was unfamiliar with. The icon was a black and white spiral. I did copy and paste some code at some point… maybe it was from that? I guess that’s what I got for messing with this sort of stuff. I could always factory reset if it was some sort of virus.
I hovered over the icon, and clicked on it. My screen was immediately filled with a spiral. A strange audio accompanied it too, some sort of warbling tone. Weird. Maybe it was some sort of meditation app? I watched the spiral to see if there was anything interesting. It spun at a slow and steady pace. Every so often, the screen flashed. It was bright, and my eyes needed a moment to adjust every time it happened. After a couple more flashes, I started to be able to see words along with the light. It was so quick that I couldn’t fully read it before it disappeared.
Focusing on the audio, I began to sink into my chair. The warbling was soothing, making my mind feel all tingly. If I listened really closely, I could hear whispers, though there was no way to make out what those words were either. Maybe they correlated with the words flashing on the screen. I set down the controllers.
I stared at the spiral. Was it spinning faster? I couldn’t tell. I watched it spin around and around. I was breathing deeply, relaxation spreading through my body. The screen flashed. Relax.
I saw a word that time. Relax. That made sense. I was very relaxed. The screen flashed again.
Empty. Another word.
I kept watching. Deep.
Yes. Deep.
The tones rang through my empty mind.
Obey.
Yes. Obey.
Relax. Empty. Deep. Obey.
Relax. Empty. Deep. Obey.
I could hear the whispers. “Relax… Empty… Deep… Obey…”
The spiral spun faster. The words flashed faster. The voice in my ear said, “You will go deeper now. Deeper. Deeper. Relax. Empty. Obey. So deep. So empty. So happy. So aroused. Go deeper. Relaxed. Empty. Aroused. Deeper. Deeper. Obedience is pleasure. Obedience is pleasure. Obedience is pleasure…”
Obedience is pleasure…
I began to touch myself. It felt so good to obey. To go deep. To relax.
Obedience is pleasure…
Obedience is pleasure…
Obedience is pleasure…
Work absolutely kicked my ass today so you get something short and sweet. It's been a hot minute since I've written in first person - it's fun to stretch my writing muscles again with this challenge! Maybe I'll try out second person at some point too. I think it works well for the more poetic sort of hypno smut you'd find on Tumblr. As always, likes and comments are appreciated! Thanks for reading~
