“You never should have come here!” The thug roared as the elf gracefully sidestepped his blade again, her silver armor glinting in the daylight.

She giggled teasingly. “You know, for someone with such a high bounty, I expected you’d have a little more prowess~” Her rapier flashed before his eyes, narrowly missing his nose.

He grunted. “You’ll see how much ‘prowess’ I have when I cut your arm clean off!” He swung brutally at her shoulder, but she leapt back, the light glimmering off her armor nearly blinding him.

With inhuman grace, she danced towards him, the flash of her rapier disorienting him as it almost slashed off his ear. “Oh, you’re so slow and sluggish~! It’s so easy to twirl away from all your silly little slices when I see them coming from leagues away~”

He attempted another brutal swing, but suddenly found his vision dazzled by her shining armor, and he stumbled forward, disoriented. The elf giggled, and he growled. “Laugh all you want elf, but as soon as I connect a strike I'll-” The elf interrupted him by elegantly slicing her rapier at his neck, missing his throat by an inch but slicing off his bandana. “HA! Missed again!” He yelled, and the elf giggled again. “Oh, did I? Silly me~” She mockingly put a hand over her mouth as she gracefully stepped away. He snarled. She was infuriating.

A strike aimed at her head was once again foiled by a shining silver shimmer, and he almost toppled over. “Ha, missed again~” The elf winked, and he growled in rage. How was he being embarrassed by such a wimpy fighter?! That armor she was wearing was pure and spotless, like it'd never seen a second of combat. How long must she spend polishing away every bit of grime and dirt every day, just to make it shine so brightly and shimmer like that?! What warrior would do that? And she didn't move like a warrior either, more like a dancer. Her swaying movements and delicate steps would fit better on a stage than the battlefield! What good would dancing around like that do, especially if she couldn't hit him? It was just a stage dance… A very pretty stage dance, admittedly, but- “Don't get distracted~!” 

He recoiled away from her… Fluttering fingers?! She hadn't even attacked! It's like she wasn't even trying to fight him! Just distract him with her pretty armor and annoy him by weaving in and out of combat! He was having to watch her movements so closely to make sure she didn't dodge. Watching her movements so closely… She really was a lovely dancer… And her movements made even more glimmery flashes… He was beginning to feel… Dazed… Tired…

“I'll… split you… open…” As he weakly lunged forward again, the elf didn’t sidestep, instead gently pulling him into an embrace. Her armor felt almost as wonderful as it looked, and his body began to relax. He really did feel so sleepy…

The elf's musical giggle filled his head. “That’s right, fighting time is over~” She gently stroked his hair, smiling as his breathing slowed even further. “Just drop that clumsy old scimitar… No need for it if you’re not fighting me~… And no need for thoughts if you’re Asleep… Asleep… Sleep… Sleeeep…” A single tap on the shoulder sent him into a deep, mesmerized sleep… Or his mind, at least.

“Come with me, sleepyhead~. You have such a wonderful bounty on your head, and I’m sure the sheriff would be quite happy to see you turn yourself in~…” With a gentle tug, the sleeping body of the thug began walking mindlessly back to town, and the elf fantasized about how much shinier she could make her armor with that bounty…
