Nikki lay on her bed, giggling. She was in that mood where everything was absolutely hilarious, and she was gonna make that everyone else's problem. [Oh great avian oracle,] she typed on her phone, [what shall I send my friends to annoy them tonight?] Her comment was replied to within a few minutes. [mknyj,ulkde567] came the response, as a bird halfway across the country stepped randomly on the keyboard contained within its cage. Nikki giggled happily. [Thank you, oh great avin oracle!] She quickly copied the string of gibberish and began sending it to everyone on her contacts list, snickering jubilantly as the responses rolled in.

Still giggling, Nikki looked in confusion at that last notification. It was from Kaeyln. That girl from Bio lab she had texted once to ask about homework. Which made getting such a... Kinky response from her very weird. Kind of uncomfortable. And also kind of intriguing, in a way. More notifications rolled in, but Nikki had stopped giggling. She was wracking her brain as to why the hell Kaelyn would have sent that. Was it a joke? Were they just trying to weird her out? Did she accidentally send a... Trigger phrase or something? No, definitely none of those. Kaelyn didn't seem the type to do weird jokes like that, especially not to Nikki, someone who she'd spoken to twice. And obviously it wasn't a trigger phrase, that made no sense. It was just gibberish. Eventually, Nikki just decided to ignore it and continued giggling at the confusion and annoyance her message had caused.

A few hours later, after the giggles had subsided, Nikki was lounging in her bed when a notification from Kaelyn suddenly arrived. A chill ran through her spine. She'd managed to put that incident out of her mind, and revisiting it would feel sooo awkward! Bracing herself, she tapped the notification. 

[Hey, I think I found something you left in the classroom after lab this morning. Do you want to come and get it tomorrow morning?]

Nikki exhaled in relief. It was just a normal text about someone finding something she'd forgotten. Anyone else might still find this suspicious, but Nikki's brain resembled swiss cheese on a good day, so she was used to receiving texts like this quite frequently. She quickly responded.

Kaelyn responded with a room the floor above Nikki's, and Nikki quickly sent [aight comin up!] and got her slippers on. She really didn't need to get chewed out for missing something important again. As she left her room, she felt quite relieved that Kaelyn hadn't mentioned the incident earlier. Probably because it was nothing to worry about, but- "Oh come on, still?!" The still-under construction elevator completely derailed that thought as she grumpily took the stairs.

Kaelyn's room had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on it, but she was expecting Nikki so knocking should be fine! After a while, Kaelyn opened the door, wearing soft colorful pajamas and a sleepy, annoyed expression. Nikki grinned. "Here for my stuff! Wow, you're tired already?" Kaelyn glared sleepily. "...It's 11:50..." Nikki shrugged. "Eh whatever. So where's my stuff?" Kaelyn yawned and let her in. "It's in this room back here." The room looked a lot like Nikki's, except a lot cleaner and with pictures of nature and bugs on the wall instead of funny posters. Kaelyn walked very slowly, clearly very tired. Nikki felt a little bad for ruining her sleep but she DID text her so she should have expected this really. Kaelyn slowly opened the door to the second bedroom. As far as Nikki knew, she didn't have a roommate, but the room did look pretty full. "Just in here..." As she walked in, the first thing she noticed was that it was a lot dirtier than the rest of the dorm. The second was the giant butterfly perched near the ceiling. 

Nikki stared up in amazement as Kaelyn shut the door. "Wow. Never seen a butterfly that big before!" Kaelyn responded sleepily. "Or as beautiful..." Nikki glanced back at her. "Uh, yeah, I guess it is pretty beautiful. Wait, I thought pets weren't allowed in dorms! I wasn't allowed to bring Mr. Truffles but you get a giant butterfly?!" Kaelyn murmured in response. "She's not a pet..." Before Nikki could respond, the butterfly flew across the room, landing on something flashing in pretty colors. Nikki craned her head to see it, and saw an LED keyboard that the butterfly was walking on. "Oh, you have a keyboard for it to walk on, that's really cool! Do you have a page for it or-" Kaelyn's phone dinged, and she glanced down. Suddenly, without warning, she grappled Nikki, holding her in place. "Huh?! What the hell?! Let go of me!" She didn't listen, however, and just carried Nikki into the center of the room. "Why are you doing this?! What's going on?! Stop this... Stop... Stooohhhhh..." As Nikki yelled, the butterfly perched before her. It began fluttering its wings, and suddenly Nikki couldn't focus on anything else.

It started as just a rapid shimmer that pulled her attention away from Kaelyn. She stopped yelling, instead staring at the mesmerizing movements. She wasn't hypnotized, of course, that'd be silly. She could look away at any time, she just didn't want to. It was interesting to look at, that was all. Like staring at her ceiling fan when she was bored. But just like the ceiling fan, the movements started to blur together, into a flashing arc of colors. Unlike her fan, though, there were patterns. Smooth, swirling patterns of color that made her feel dizzy as they spun before her eyes. Everything else was starting to look hazy and indistinct. But she wasn't hypnotized, of course. She was just looking at something truly amazing. The patterns were smoother and more detailed than any movie she had ever seen, so why wouldn't she stare? "Just stare into Mistress's wings, Nikki... Stare deeper, and deeper, and deeper..." See, even Kaelyn agreed that she should keep staring! But then, the final stage happened. And she couldn't lie to herself that she wasn't hypnotized anymore.

The world was dissolving into a dreamy haze, and the only thing that seemed real was the beautiful Arc. And it was starting to look more real than it had before. Like it was really a fan... Not a ceiling fan, but a hand fan... Being held by a tall, winged woman smiling down at her, They started waving their fingers before her eyes, fluttering all her thoughts away even more than before. They started gently brushing her cheek with a soft proboscis. It felt nice.  And so did their voice in her head. Good Girl. "mmma Gooh gill..." The woman clicked her fingers. What are you? "mmm Googirlll..." The woman fluttered her entrancing wings in amusement and clicked her fingers twice more. What are you right now? "mmm... Hybnodizzd..." Yes. Hypnotized. Obedient. MINE. "ybnooizzed... bedeent... yourrrrrs..." Nikki's brain was completely empty... A sensation she claimed to feel regularly, but it had never been more true than in this moment.

The woman knelt down. Her voice was forceful but oh so pleasing. You will answer my questions. "ll annzzer..." How did you discover my pet's commands? Nikki stared blankly up at her Mistress. "Bwwaahhh...?" You attempted to control my pet through her commands.  "Hwuuuuh...? Dinnn doo thaat..." Her Mistress seemed confused. You sent one of her commands to her. 'Iii diiih...?" Her Mistress snapped her fingers. Remember. Nikki's mind swirled hopelessly as she tried to remember doing something she never did. "Nooooii diiindd..." Her Mistress stared wordlessly at her for a while, but Nikki didn't mind too much. "Preeeyeyes..." Another finger click pulled her focus back. What did you send to my pet earlier today? Finally, a question Nikki knew the answer to! "Funnnnyyy gibbbrish... Bird on keyybord... Sennid to friens... funnyjoge..." Her Mistress stared at her for a while longer before straightening back up. Pure coincidence then. I should have assumed so upon first sight of you. Far too foolish to have truly figured it out. Nikki nodded in agreement. It was definitely true this time. I suppose this is serendipity then. I have been desiring a new pet. And here a suitable subject blunders right into my path. She began fluttering her fingers faster and faster. Programming your mind should be effortless. Nikki would have agreed if all her thoughts weren't fluttering away again. Instead, she just smiled...

Nikki woke up to the sound of an alarm going off. But it wasn't hers... Kaelyn yawned and looked down at her. "Good morning, uh, sister. I don't know what to call you yet, but... Yeah." Nikki sluggishly pulled herself off her bed. No, wait, that was Kaelyn's bed. Much too clean to be hers. "Huhh...? What...?" Kaelyn smiled. "Remember?" Nikki tried to think... And immediately fell back onto the bed as the hypnotizing bliss overwhelmed her again. "Mmmmmm... I'magoogirl..." Kaelyn sighed and got up. "Whatever you are, I connected your phone to Mistress's keyboard so she can send you commands now." Nikki blinked sleepily. "...Okaycool..." As Kaelyn prepared to leave, a notification came through on both their phones. Kaelyn instinctively checked it and her eyes immediately went blank. Nikki slowly checked hers, and her mind was suddenly filled with a powerful hypnotic command, ingrained deep within her subconscious during her programming last night. She obediently responded [Yes Mistress] and walked with Kaelyn to Mistress's room without even turning off her phone. Mistress flew down off her keyboard and onto her perch, as Nikki and Kaelyn followed her command. Nikki's phone still displayed the text as she obeyed.
