Go on then, have another hypnosis file! This was my second scripted induction, which uses rainfall imagery and is much shorter and simpler than the forest one - just an induction and a wakener. The full script is below. Please feel free to give feedback on whether this worked for you or not!

Hello again to those who’ve listened to my previous file, and for those who haven’t - nice to meet you! Like the forest induction, I scripted this near the beginning of my ‘career’ as a hypnotist - but this one’s much shorter and simpler. Just as effective though, at least in my experience! This one uses the imagery of a rainstorm quite literally ‘brainwashing’ you. I’ll then have you repeat a couple of mantras to get you nice and deep, keep you in trance for a minute or two, and eventually wake you up with no lasting triggers or suggestions. Remember, if at any time you want or need to stop, you’ll be able to, no matter how thoroughly hypnotised you are - that failsafe part of your mind will intervene on your behalf.

Without further ado, get yourself comfortable and ready to follow my words, and let’s begin!

***

Picture this: You’re standing in a doorway, looking out at a wide garden. A big, bright green lawn, surrounded by tall dark green trees. On a sunny day it’d look beautiful, but today the skies are full of dark clouds. And as you gaze out, a tiny droplet of rain falls past your eyes. Then another. Then another. Then another.

You notice more and more little drops of rain falling from the stormy skies - two at once, then five at once, then a dozen, then thirty... then a hundred. And before you know it, the rain is pouring past your eyes, cascading lightly down onto the green grass.

And as you watch the rain fall, like hundreds of thin lines flowing down your sightline, you find there’s something so entrancing about it - the continuous downpour of light droplets. The more drops hit the grass, the more fall from the sky. The more the rain falls, the more rain falls.

You can’t stop watching it. It’s like a waterfall right in front of you. And you find yourself imagining what it would feel like, pouring down onto your head, washing through your hair, flowing down your skin. And you want to step out into the rain, don’t you?

Good. You take a tentative step outside, feeling the wetness of the grass, feeling the rainwater lightly fall onto your foot. And you bring your other foot out now, and stand directly under the rain, letting the droplets fall directly onto your head. And you might have been scared that they’d hurt - that they’d rain down like hail and barrage your head. But they’re more like sleet - light as mist.

And as they land on your head, it’s like the water’s stroking you. Like the rain’s caressing your scalp. A thousand tiny fingers dancing on your head. And it feels so nice, so relaxing, as it soaks into your hair and trickles down your face. You close your eyes, and feel rain dribble over your eyelids, loving how it feels to have the rain fall right on top of your head.

It feels like it’s soaking right into your brain, doesn’t it? Draining through your head, droplets falling into your brain. More and more rainwater coming through every moment... until there’s a steady flow going right through your brain. As the downpour washes your body, like a cool refreshing shower, making your skin shiver, the flow in your head washes your mind clean.

And you’re so relaxed, enjoying this so much, that you’re barely thinking right now, isn’t that right? Very good. So hard to care or think about anything but the rain, and how it makes you feel. So hard to remember anything before the rain, like nothing else exists. The rest of the world’s vanishing. The garden around you, the doorway behind you, the grass beneath your feet - all disappearing, until all you can feel is the rain, pouring down on you, and into your head.

And as the water flows through your brain, it washes out the rest of your thoughts. And the more it washes your brain, the fewer thoughts you have. Until finally they’re all just carried away by the water, flowing out of your ears, trickling down the sides of your empty head.

And once your mind is completely gone, blank and vacant, you find yourself saying, “I’m brainwashed by the rain.”

Very good. Feeling so compelled and peaceful. Feeling so relaxed and mindless. Feeling so open and responsive. Patiently standing in the pouring rain, no thoughts in your head, waiting for me to give you something to think about.

And I’d like you to say for me, “I’m happy and hypnotised.” Good. And now say, “I’m blank and mindless.” Very good. And now say again, “I’m brainwashed by the rain.” Very good. And in a moment I’m going to ask you to keep repeating those, one after the other, feeling how true they are, noticing how every repetition lets you sink deeper into this wonderful mindless state. And as you repeat those phrases again and again, the raindrops keep falling on your head, and in your head, keeping your mind nicely washed clean.

Good. Repeat after me: “I’m happy and hypnotised. I’m blank and mindless. I’m brainwashed by the rain.” And keep repeating, “I’m happy and hypnotised. I’m blank and mindless. I’m brainwashed by the rain.”

***

You can stop repeating now, so blank and mindless, so deeply brainwashed, so happily hypnotised. And you can notice that the rain’s slowly stopping, easing off more by the moment. And you just watch, still so mindless and vacant, as it gradually subsides, until there are only a few more raindrops falling. And before you even notice, they stop too.

Good. And you just drift there, standing in your soaked garden, empty-headed, blank and blissful.

Very good. Now I’m going to count up to ten, and with each number, your brain will slowly come to life again, generating as many thoughts as you usually have. You’ll come out of this lovely daze, and feel relaxed and refreshed, alert and energised, ready to continue with your day with renewed resolve and greater focus. And you might feel a desire to get in touch with me, and tell me how that felt, and describe your experience and what you liked the most about it.

One, still so blank. Two, brain beginning to whir to life. Three, a little more alert. Four. Five, wits getting a little sharper every moment. Six. Seven, more and more energy flowing into your mind and body. Eight, almost fully awake and aware now, feeling so so good. Nine, happy and satisfied and full of energy. Ten - fully awake.

Welcome back! That concludes this session. I hope you had fun, and I hope you had a satisfying experience. Please do feel free to get in touch with me and give me your feedback - links to sites where you can contact me are in the description accompanying this file. Thank you for listening!
