Trick or Treat
by ThrillHoe
Jon hurried to and fro as he prepared for his first ever Halloween stream. He’d done a lot of work for it. Way more work than was necessary for a streamer that had an all time high of ten viewers and only three subs. But if he was going to make this streamer thing work then he was going to put every ounce of his free time into it!
So there were skeletons hanging on the wall, a ghost dangling from the ceiling right behind his chair, and he’d even purchased a bunch of cheap little figurines to place around his desk from the more mainstream Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers to the more obscure Blade the Puppet and the Djinn from Wishmaster.
“This is pointless” A little voice said in the back of his mind. “No one is going to watch this.”
He pushed that thought away. People would watch this! Whether it was one person or one-hundred it didn’t matter! As long as someone out there engaged with him tonight it would all be worth it.
But of course there was the pièce de résistance! The mask!
He had gotten an incredible deal on the mask from an amazon seller. What would have normally been an incredibly expensive piece of latex he’d gotten for extremely cheap from the seller and what was the mask you might ask?
A very detailed werewolf mask! Made with real fur! It was so realistic looking that it would absolutely make the stream chat do a double take in shock.
If it arrived on time that is.
Anxious, he left his room and walked to the front door to check again. His phone hadn’t alerted him that it had arrived but it was always possible it hadn’t updated yet. It wouldn’t hurt to check anyway.
Jon was eighteen, freshly graduated from high school. He didn’t have many real friends… in fact, he didn’t have any at all since graduating and everyone else went to college. His only friends were his close knit group of discord friends… who were also his only real audience. His skin was really pale, hair typically a mess and he wore glasses that weren’t exactly flattering. He wasn’t ugly but he was someone who didn’t really take care of his appearance either.
The only person he really interacted with was his landlady Joanna, a much older woman who rented out a spare room in her home.
“Hey Jon!” Joanna said as he walked by her in the kitchen, she was baking cookies for the Halloween party she was attending at the local church. “Happy Halloween!”
“Hey.” Jon said, walking by her as he stepped out of the house and looked on the front porch. Nothing.
“Shit!” Jon said, starting to panic. Usually the mail had already come by this time of day. If the package wasn’t here now then it meant it wouldn’t be here today. Fuck!
He was starting to panic. Fearing his discord friends would make fun of him after all that hubbub about his awesome stream and how humiliating that would be.
Then, underneath the patio table, he saw a small box poking out from underneath and grabbed it. “Thank god!” He whispered. Grabbing the box he raced back inside, passing by Joanna again as he did.
It didn’t really occur to him that the box was much smaller than it should have been until he got inside. “Shit.” He said. opening it up and seeing what was inside. “Shit!”
It wasn’t an expensive hyper-realistic werewolf mask! It wasn’t even a cheap werewolf mask! It wasn’t even a werewolf mask at all in fact!
It was a cheap piece of black cloth that looked like a balaclava.
He pulled it out with a disappointed look on his face and held it in front of him. A balaclava with too many holes even! It looked like someone had taken a pair of scissors to it and crudely cut holes on top of it for some reason.
Fuck no! He wasn’t paying for this! He wanted his money back!
He tossed the mask on his bed and raced to his computer and pulled up Amazon and went to its marketplace. The seller, he remembered, was a person named “Foxy_Loxy999” and not only was he going to give them one hell of a bad review he was going to get his money back even if he had to go through Amazon’s shitty AI customer service to do it.
THIS PAGE DOES NOT EXIST!
“Fuck!” He slammed his hands on the keyboard. The seller was gone! Fine! If they wanted to play that game he’d just go to his buyer’s history and file the refund there. He clicked away from the error page and to the purchase history of the site. “I’m going to get you, you scammer.” He muttered as he scrolled through his purchase history.
Only to stare in confusion when he saw the purchase wasn’t there!
“Come on!” He shouted. “It has to be here!”
But… it wasn’t. He scrolled down and then back but there was no sign of the purchase in the sea of anime blurays and game purchases. “Shit!”
“Can you quiet down?” His roommate, Joanna, asked through the door.
Jon was leaning on his desk and facepalming. “Yeah, sure.” he muttered. He wasn’t. But he didn’t want to explain he’d gotten scammed out of his hard earned money. He felt shitty already; he didn't need a lecture on internet safety from someone who believed everything she saw on Facebook.
“Okay.” He said, getting up and picking the mask up again. “Maybe I can salvage this.” He walked out of the bedroom and went down the hall to the bathroom so he could use its mirror. Standing in front of it he held the mask up to his face with a frown. “Maybe I can pretend to be a burglar. It’s not perfect but it’ll have to do.”
He took his glasses off as he slid the mask over his head and pulled it down over his face.

Joanna hummed happily as she took the cookies out of the oven. She had really outdone herself this time if she said so herself as she looked down at the baking sheet with nothing but pride. They were shaped like little jack o’lanterns and once they had cooled down just a bit more she was going to add some delicious orange frosting to them to really make them taste good. The kids at the party would absolutely love–
“UGH!”
She jolted, nearly dropping the cookies on the floor as she heard a loud grunt come from the bathroom. “Jon?” She asked as she sat the cookies down and moved over to the bathroom door. “Are you okay in there?”
There was a loud thud and the sound of a feminine yelp followed by the sound of something hitting the floor.
She wanted to knock but hesitated. “You aren’t…” she paused, not wanting to imply he was doing that. “”Is everything going smoothly?” she asked.

Jon wasn’t on the other side of the door but Nightshade the Kitsune was. The change had been almost instantaneous. Jon had put on the mask and had only enough time to register a strange feeling then let out a confused loud grunt before he was replaced with the black and silver nine tailed vixen.
All nine feet of her.
The clothes Jon had been wearing were being pushed to their absolute limit. The white t-shirt he’d been wearing was now clung tightly across her breasts and was stretching so much it had gone transparent showing off her bright pink nipples and perfect furry pornstar tits while her fit, tight silver furred belly exposed to the world.
Jon’s shorts had been almost completely obliterated by the emergence of her nine tails. Big tails thick with luxurious black and silver fur that writhed and moved behind her like they had a mind of their own. What the tails hadn’t destroyed her thighs had. Her big, strong and oh so powerful looking thighs! The scant few remains of the shorts that were left were hiked up and clung against her lower body showing her camel toe.
“Jon, are you okay?” A voice called out from the other side of the bathroom door and Nightshade’s ears stood up. She tried to turn towards the voice only to bump her head against the ceiling and yelped. She tried to back up and her tails smashed against the wall and knocked a cheap painting of flowers over.
This wouldn’t do at all.
She started to shrink herself down to a more manageable height for this mortal house. From eight to seven and straight past the hated number six to a more suitable five foot nine. She stretched, paying no heed to her tattered clothes before turning to the door.
“Is everything going smoothly?” The voice asked.
Nightshade wiggled her ears and twitched her nose. The house started to rumble, the lights began to flicker, and in that brief moment it was like a small thunderstorm had manifested above the house.
Go away.
There were footsteps as Joanna left without a word and the rumbling ceased immediately. Grinning Nightshade went back to examining her new surroundings without any distractions whether it be mortal or height related. She looked back in the mirror and her tails waved excitedly behind her as she adjusted her mask just a bit. Whereas before it had been a simple, worn piece of cheap cloth it was now an immaculate, soft silken mask perfectly fitted against her canine head.
It was also black. In the most literal sense in that It was the complete absence of light.. It was like she was wearing a piece of the night sky itself. The sparkling, glittering bits of silver that glimmered faintly inside it only added to that belief
Nightshade grinned at her reflection as she thought of her past actions in this world.
For the past nine months Nightshade had been traveling across the world jumping from host to host whether they were rich or poor, young or old, Nightshade hadn’t cared as she spun a web of pranks and mischief that either ruined or enhanced someone’s life at the kitsune’s whim. She had first arrived and possessed a drug addict somewhere in the Southern United States and had jumped to a police officer the trail had then gone around the country until her previous victim had put her mask up on Amazon’s marketplace. Nightshade’s magic making any prospective buyer see what they needed most.
Now she was here in Jon’s body and…
She looked through the young man’s memories flipping through them like a book as she tried to find something to work with. It didn’t take long at all for her to see his streamer aspirations and her mouth curled into a grin.
Costume
Her tattered clothes shifted and changed as the shirt lengthened and grew down her body becoming a dark blue leotard, the back opening up to let her tails move freely. The shorts meanwhile grew slightly upwards while also drifting downwards to form a pair of matching leggings.
She tilted her head and examined the outfit in the mirror striking a little pose before going back into the boy’s head and looking for more. She wanted to appeal to his audience of discord…
Gooners
To maximize the fun of the prank so she delved deeper and dredged up images of hentai, anthropomorphic animals, the entirety of the “NSFW” channel and allowed these images to further shape her outfit.
The top of her leotard opened up exposing a lot of furry cleavage and then drifted even further down into a slingshot leotard exposing her perfect, tight belly once again. The leggings opening up a bit to show off her “beans” more as her toes flexed and stretched playfully.
She grinned, playfully licking her mouth as she did a little twirl. Better. Much better. This would be perfect. The boy’s friends would absolutely love this costume and now it was time for the final part of her prank.
She began to withdraw back into Jon’s mind making a few adjustments here and there to tweak his memory from the moment he had opened the package until now. His package had arrived just as advertised. The costume would be what he—
Nightshade saw the mental image of the boy’s ideal werewolf costume and quickly adjusted it to something else. She would not be a wolf. No matter what host it was. She quickly dredged up a memory of something else. A hockey mask belonging to some fictional undead murderer and slapped that in place of the wolf. Better.
The boy would perceive himself wearing the hockey masked murderer’s costume instead of seeing her own luscious body. He would stream in it and make all of his discord friends go mad with confusion and lust and Nightshade would laugh and laugh and laugh at the madness of at all.
She sniffed and smelled the cookies and let out a tiny little growl of need. She’d make him gorge himself on those treats too. It was Halloween after all. She deserved a little treat along with her tricks!
She drifted down into Jon’s consciousness deep down into the darkest recesses of his mind where she could watch events unfold and began to wait…

Jon blinked as he regained consciousness. “What–oh.” He felt an immense wave of energy, then pleasure, the tails behind him going rigid as he started to feel good. His heart was racing, beating far faster than normal. Shit. He felt like his heart had taken a shot of cocaine and started to bounce on his heels energetically. He felt so uninhibited too. So warm. It was like he was drunk. He felt like he could do anything he wanted… or anyone he wanted.
He gyrated his hips unconsciously as he looked in the mirror. His libido had shot from “asexual 1” to “nympho 15” in a matter of seconds. He looked in the mirror and loved what he saw, he ran a hand down his curvy body and growled.
“I look great!” He said, looking at himself in the mirror and grinning. He didn’t see the sexy leotard clad vixen staring back at him. He saw an absolutely epic Halloween costume. The perfect hockey mask. The perfect fake blood on his perfect torn and tattered green jumpsuit. God he looked killer!
He bounced happily, his tits jiggling wildly as he let out a delighted little squeal. “Everyone is going to love this!” He said. “I have got to show Joanna!”
He opened the door and raced out to the kitchen to show himself off.
