Elaine's body racked with sobs as she tried to follow the swing of her kind, gentle girlfriend's pocket watch. She was seated in a meditative position, one comfortable and soothing. She had one of the worst days in her life -- she was fired from her job, and her other now ex-partner dumped her because of her own damn jealousy. When Ava had come over, Elaine had immediately broke into sobs.
    "That's it," Ava cooed as the pocket watch continued to swing. "Just keep your eyes on the watch. Hear its ticking. Feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into trance. Not an obedient and thrilling trance, but a relaxing and comforting one. Feel pleasure, but not of the sexual kind. Just the kind you need right now."
    Elaine nodded, feeling the tears begin to flow. Her eyes followed Ava's hands as the pocket watch lifted up. They  began to strain a little, and all Elaine wanted to do was just close her eyes and fall into that deep slumber she knew so well. Thankfully, the second Ava dropped the watch into her hand below, Elaine's eyes slammed shut and she dropped.
    "There you go," Ava sighed. "Just breathe. Follow the sound of your breath as I guide you deeper and deeper into a nice, calm place. I want you to imagine the most cozy room you can think of. Tell me, my pretty thing. What's in the room?"
    Elaine's eyes closed tighter as she tried to think in the mist of trance. "A... fireplace,"
    "Fantastic. Imagine yourself sitting by the fireplace, in a plush leather recliner. There's all sorts of blankets on it, and you can pick and choose which ones you want. There's weighted and heated blankets, and a variety of throw blankets. You can put on as many as you want. As many as you need. Feel yourself reclining in the chair, letting your worries soothe away."
    Elaine felt a smile cross her lips. Ava always knew just what she needed. "Good, plaything. You're doing so well. What else is in the room?"
    Her eyebrows furrowed. One thing she wanted -- that her terrible landlord denied repeatedly -- was a soft, cuddly cat. She said exactly that.
    "Wonderful. Imagine your perfect cat curled on your lap, on top of the blankets. It won't move as long as you don't want it to. This cat loves you so much, just like I do, and all it wants is for you to feel happy. And so, so cozy."
    Elaine basked in the glory for a bit. All tension left her body, leaving her with the warmest sense of pleasure she'd ever felt. Her worries faded away, sinking into the mattress she sat on.
    "Can you tell me anything else about the room? Anything?"
    "I... think the lighting is soft," Elaine explained. "Maybe there... are some fairy lights." Her voice was quiet, so quiet as she explained every aspect of the room she could. Soon enough, the place Ava tranced her into was perfect. Elaine could physically feel herself in this safe, pleasurable space.
    "And now, my Elaine, I want you to do one last thing," Ava smiled as she massaged Elaine's shoulders softly. This made the grin on her lips widen. "I want you to remember this place."
    "...remember?" Elaine murmured.
    "Yes. And I want you to know that you can go back to it, or change it, whenever you need to. Do you understand?"
    Elaine nodded sleepily. Soon, her body fell asleep as well, still in this lovely, comforting room.
