New story time - enjoy!

Chaya felt beat. And it was only Tuesday.

She sat at the edge of the barstool, downing her second way-too-expensive cocktail. Chaya didn’t even know if she could afford these drinks, and after her workday, she didn’t really care. She worked as a heavily underpaid admin assistant working at the world’s most miserable real estate company. Not to mention, for the most evil boss in existence – Beverly. Her entire life was a blur of living paycheck to paycheck and panicking whenever an emergency hit her. Every day at her job felt like agony, but whenever she’d look for another one, she’d be starkly reminded of the fact she lived in the middle of nowhere with no car. Her options weren’t exactly vast.

She hated her life. And she hated the fact the CEO seemed to take pleasure in making Chaya’s life worse. Every second felt like an hour and every day felt like a millenia. On particularly bad days, like today – when Beverly had scathingly belittled her for meeting one point below the mark – she’d run straight to the only pub in town and down a highly alcoholic drink.

Why was she doing this? Why was Chaya trying so hard? It’s not like moving back in with her parents would make her feel worse. Then again, dealing with their ignorant questions about Chaya’s lack of a gender identity and houndings over why she left her job would only serve to make her more miserable.

Alcohol wasn’t making her feel better. Chaya all but collapsed over the bar table. What was she even going to do? She had no hobbies, and she barely had any friends.

Her eyes darted around the bar… maybe if alcohol didn’t numb her feelings, a meaningless one night stand would. Luckily, and shockingly, the only pub in town happened to be a rural lesbian bar. That meant Chaya wouldn’t have to comb through mediocre cishet guy number 4,306. She looked towards anyone who might be drinking alone. Nope. Most people came in couples, reminding Chaya of the stark fact she was also, annoyingly, single. Hell, she hadn’t even had a girlfriend since her two week one in high school. And that was her only relationship.

Which also meant Chaya sucked at flirting. Which became a worse fact as her eyes laid upon a cute-looking blonde girl sitting on her lonesome. She donned a blue crop top with yellow stars lining it, and skimpy white jean hot pants. The skimpy outfit only made Chaya look at her muscles. Damn. She clearly worked out or had a labor-intensive job. Chaya wondered what it could have been.

Well, this girl didn’t look sad, at least. In fact, she winked towards the tired bartender a few times, and spoke in a bubbly voice. Maybe her happiness was faked? It didn’t matter. She was a cute girl, and she looked like she was up for a good time.

Chaya made a move over to her, trying to quickly think of the best pickup line she could. But the second she snaked past a crowd to get to the girl…

She was gone.

Chaya blinked. Had she seen her and sprinted to the bathroom? Chaya sighed. She didn’t think she was that hideous.

Her heart stopped when a voice piped up.

“Enjoying what you see, cutie?”

Chaya nearly dropped her drink as her heart stopped. She whipped around to see the girl she was just eyeing, behind her, suddenly less than a couple of inches away. Chaya choked. Whatever mediocre pick up line she was about to give came out as–

“Ah, um, I mean, hi, do you, um…” Chaya flushed. Ruined. And here she was, digging herself even deeper into a hole. “Do you… did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”

Okay. Chaya wanted to go home and hide in shame even more now.

Bewilderingly, the lady… laughed, in response. It felt genuine, not forced, and not in the way she’d be laughing at Chaya. “Oh, you’re even cuter than you seem. What brings you here, cutie pie? And what’s your name?”

“Um – my job sucks, and I wanted a drink. I’m Chaya.” Every word left Chaya realizing starkly how awkward and socially anxious she was. She was an idiot if she thought she could pick this beauty up.

“Chaya! Adorable name for an adorable girl.” Well, at least she could pronounce her name right. Most girls didn’t get that on their first try. “I’m Valarie. From out of town.”

“V-Valarie, nice, um, nice name!” Chaya squeaked. “Um, well, why are you here? Other than to… hit on… me, specifically.”

Valarie giggled. “I needed to let off a bit of steam. Rough day for both of us, it seems.”

They clinked their glasses together, Chaya following Valarie’s motions. “You can say that again. Where do you work?”

Valarie’s eyes shifted away briefly, momentarily. Chaya nearly didn’t catch it. She blinked, and suddenly Valarie was talking again. “Oh, just some maintenance company. I’m the admin there. Pretty boring stuff, if you ask me. ‘Least the donuts are nice.”

“Good donuts are… more than I get.”

“Yeah? What do you get?”

Chaya sighed. That was a better question than what she didn’t get. “Two days of vacation. Three holidays a year. The worst health insurance ever that doesn’t cover a goddamn thing. And a boss who takes sadistic pleasure in seeing you sad.”

Valarie clicked her tongue sympathetically. “That last one is only good if you agree to it.”

Chaya chuckled. “I sure didn’t.”

Valarie checked her wrist, looking at her watch briefly, and then the one in the room behind the barstool. She gazed off in a musing state, picking what she wanted to say next. Chaya gulped. She didn’t say something to scare this girl off, did she? Oh, god, she probably did.

“Well, I’m sure there’s some stuff I’d agree to do with you, if you’re interested.”

Chaya choked on her drink for what felt like the fifth time that evening. “I- really? With me? But– I don’t know, don’t you have anywhere to be?”

“Nope,” Valarie shrugged. “Other than a nervous girl’s bed.”

Chaya felt the blood stop rushing into her brain.

“W-well, okay, um, my place is kinda a mess so–”

“No more excuses or apologies,” Valarie teased as she pressed her index finger to Chaya’s stammering lips. She grabbed some cash out of her pocket – wow, a surprising amount – and slammed it on the table to pay for their tabs. How… generous. “Of course, if you want to say no, I’m here for that too.”

“No, I mean, yes!” Chaya vigorously nodded, once again to Valarie’s amusement. “Um, my car is outside.”

Valarie grinned widely, following Chaya out. “I can’t wait to see what you’ve got for me.”

~~

The drive home was strangely… quaint. After their perky bar chat, Chaya felt like she should have another joke or teasing quip for her sudden hook up. Unfortunately, the only thing that came to mind was a random dad joke she heard a while back. (At least Valarie seemed to like it.) Chaya’s car sure had age on its paint, and an engine to match. It worked, though, and didn’t make too many weird noises. Which was good because Chaya definitely couldn’t afford a new car.

During the ride, halfway through, Valarie spoke up again – shifting the mood to a more serious note. “By the way, I should be upfront, I am polyamorous.”

“Um… yes, mhmm?” Chaya responded. She didn’t necessarily consider herself to be monogamous, but then again, Chaya didn’t have any experience to see where she really landed.

“I have a girlfriend,” Valarie elaborated. “Isabel. Excellent person. I love her. Totally obsessed. Ten out of ten. But she’s asexual and sex-repulsed, so I have open permission to hit on any cute girls I like and eat them out. Is that a deal breaker for you?”

“N-no, not at all.” Chaya definitely didn’t have it in her to kick this girl out in the middle of nowhere even if the answer was yes. She wasn’t mean like her boss.

“Good, good!” Valarie sighed in relief. “Because I’ve had too many drinks thrown in my face over that.”

“Well, you paid for mine, so it’d be rude to throw one in your face.”

The conversation turned back to its light note. Chaya felt a weight lift off her chest around her one night stand. Something about her was so… comforting. Reassuring. Like this lady knew exactly what to say. Chaya wasn’t experienced by any means, but this girl made her feel so.

Eventually, they got home, Chaya doing a haphazard parking job. Truth be told, she was way too horny to want to park properly. Whatever, though, this was her parking lot – at least the one she rented – and she could park in it however she damn pleased. She unlocked the door, allowing both of them inside.

Oh, god. Having company over made Chaya only realize further just how much of a slob she really was. Her dishes spent three days piling up in the sink. Piles of dirty laundry littered the tiny place, which Chaya desperately tried to hide. Valarie took a seat at the dining room table – one out of the only two seats – and reclined. “Relax, relax! It’s not so bad. I’ve seen worse.”

Chaya masked her anxiety by politely grabbing both of them some water. “Yeah, you… work in maintenance, right?”

“Oh, yeah. You see some shit in that job.”

“I can – I can imagine. Um, let me tidy up the bedroom…” Chaya excused herself and began straightening up as best as she could in two minutes. With a second to spare, she looked at herself in the mirror. She looked like a wreck. A really horny wreck. She couldn’t wait anymore – this all had made her realize most of her stresses could probably go away with some hot sex. “A-alright, you can come in!”

Valarie didn’t waste a second and sauntered in. “So, babe, what hot kinks are you into?”

“I… haven’t really had much time to explore, to be honest.”

Valarie smirked. “First time?”

“N-no!” Chaya paused. “...More like, third or fourth.”

“Knew it. Well, lately I’ve been dabbling in hypnosis kink. Specifically bimbofication. I’ve found I can get really fucking Dommey as a bimbo. You interested in being ordered around by a hot slut?”

Chaya’s face felt so red that it was about to explode. “I-I, well, I’ve never heard of… I didn’t know hypnosis kink was a thing.”

“Neither did I! But it’s so hot. Having all those brain cells taken from me, it’s just the hottest thing ever. And would you believe I hypnotized myself to give me a bimbo mode?” Valarie giggled. “See, my partner is ace, but the subbiest bubby to ever sub. She bosses everyone else in my crew around, but melts in my presence when I look at her in a weird way. It’s adorable. So I hypnotized myself to drain my own damn brain cells. And make me Dommey while I’m at it.”

“...Okay, woah,” Chaya sat on the bed as she exhaled. “S-sorry, this isn’t a no, but… I’m just so inexperienced with even just eating someone out. I have no kink experience. Are you… sure… you want to play with me?”

Valarie tapped a finger to her chin. “Well, yeah. And you say yellow if you want me to slow down, red if you want to stop, and green if you like where things are going. Does that sound good?”

Chaya inhaled. She couldn’t hide the admittedly excited smile on her face. “Y-yes, it does.”

Valarie grinned. “Then what are we waiting for?”

“...My own anxieties to go away, mostly.”

“I think we’ll be here forever if we do that. No offense. Well…” Valarie leaned into Chaya’s ear, sitting on the bed next to her. “Would you do me a favor?”

“Yes?” Chaya blinked.

“Could you say the words, ‘go pink, girlie’, into my ears?” she requested with a sly smile. “Just feels better when someone else does it.”

Chaya hesitated, before realizing this was about the best thing that was going to happen to her in a very long time. And probably for the foreseeable future. “Okay,” she said. “Go pink, girlie.”

And Valarie did. Chaya could only watch as Valarie’s eyes blinked three times, four times, many more as the personality shift took place. Valarie’s previously knowing smirk turned into a ditzy, dopey grin. The edges of her lips curled, and a manic glint appeared in her eyes. Chaya chuckled nervously as she watched the demeanor of her one night stand shift drastically. She couldn’t help but feel scared.

Valarie’s body shifted. She placed her hands behind Chaya and reclined her down slowly, cornering her onto the mattress. Chaya shivered as Valarie began to talk again, this time with a much sillier – and scarier – tone.

“Helloooooo, cutie,” Valarie slurred seductively. “You’re, like, so cute. Did I tell you that?”

“Y-yeah, a few times,” Chaya nodded.

"Because, like, you are." Valarie placed her hands behind Chaya on the bed, slowly leaning further and further into her. "I'm sooooo lucky I came here, because like, all I wanted to do was party, but then you show up out of nowhere! Like a poof! And now we get to have some fun."

"What..." Chaya panted, her heart racing at the speed of sound. "What kind of fun?"

"Like, you know! The kind of fun where you like, eat me out, and worship me, and stuff." Chaya got the impression that Valarie was meant to sound Dommey, but she still couldn't get past the valley girl accent and the peppers of 'likes' and 'ums' in her speech. "I mean, like, look at your boobs! You've got boobs just like me!"

Valarie reached out her hands and groped Chaya's boobs suddenly. Chaya gasped, her body tensing up and freezing from the sudden touch. Valarie played with her tits like they were stress balls, seemingly completely oblivious to Chaya's confusion and bewilderment. The smaller girl sat in place, reclining onto the mattress as Valarie's presence pushed her further down. Soon enough, Valarie was on top of her, staring a straight like at Chaya's boobs. Valarie giggled, and a strand of drool dropped onto Chaya's shirt.

"Oopsie," Valarie blinked. "I like, forgot we have to take our clothes off."

"Should we... do that now, or--" Chaya's stupidly awkward question was immediately interrupted.

"Like, now, silly! Get up and take your clothes off!" Despite how dim and stupid Valarie sounded, an order was an order. Chaya pulled off her shirt as best as she could with Valarie on top of her, and then moved to take her pants off - her panties in the process.

Valarie took a moment before realizing she had to undress, too. Her clothes came off much quicker than Chaya's. Chaya could swear she saw the area surrounding Valarie's clit completely soaked with her fluids. God, damn, her bimbo Domme was horny as fuck. And slowly, Chaya was getting over her inhibitions and joining her.

Chaya readjusted herself to move more eye-level with Valarie, but the blonde bimbo wasn't having it. Valarie slammed her hands on Chaya's tits again and pushed her back down under her. "Nuh-uh, you're not the one on top here! I'm the one in control of you right now, you dummy!"

Chaya panted. Being bossed around and thrown like a piece of meat... it was much hotter than she anticipated. Somehow, the fact she was being bullied by the dumbest girl in the world made it more scintillating. Chaya felt her clit twitch, her own legs getting slowly soaked by her sexual fluids.

"So, um, since you're in c-control..." Chaya started, embarrassed by how much she stammered. "What, um, do you want me to do?"

"Well, first, I want you to, like..." Valarie droned off. She blinked. "Actually, I, like, didn't think that far. What do you want to do, you subby puppy?"

Chaya's mind raced with possibilities. She wanted to worship every inch of this gorgeous woman, and her fabulous boobs -- a rack much larger than Chaya's own set. She could eat Valarie out and make her say dumb shit throughout the entire time, someone remaining in control of Chaya. Or, Valarie could take charge, and use the crappy handcuffs and vibrator Chaya bought for like $30 on her. The possibilities soared in Chaya's mind, but Valarie didn't like the silence.

"Oh well, don't need to think about it, dearie!" Valarie sang. "Can you, like, get off of me and kneel in front of me, pretty please?"

Chaya nodded. "Yes, um--"

"That's 'yes, Missy' to me, please!"

Chaya flushed an even deeper shade of red. "Yes, Missy." Chaya obeyed and knelt in front of Valarie's now-spread legs. Even her sex looked amazing -- her clit was perfectly round, covered only a little by the surrounding folds, and her pussy looked like Chaya could just... sink into it. It's like her body, at this moment in time, was made for sex. Chaya had no complaints.

"So, like, are you just gonna stare stupidly, or are you gonna get to work?" Valarie giggled.

"Um, work, of course--" Chaya gasped, realizing how much of a trance she fell into just looking at Valarie's cunt. "How do you want me to--"

"Like, I want you to stop thinking and just do what you normally do, dummy!" Valarie's sing-song voice turned into a slight impatient growl. "Just eat me out already!"

"I..." Chaya averted her eyes. "I've never eaten someone out before, Missy."

"Wha-huh?!" Valarie gasped. "You haven't? But you're like, so hot! I swear, girls would be lining up for a body like yours."

"I know, I know," Chaya sighed. "I'm... shy... I haven't really been with anyone like this in... in a long time."

Valarie sighed. Suddenly, her eyes lit up again -- like in the depths of her mind, she had *an idea*. "Then, I'm going to teach you! No better day then, um, today!"

Before Chaya could ask anymore stupid questions, or give any excuses, Valarie's legs wrapped tightly around Chaya's head. Her powerful thighs pulled Chaya's face directly into Valarie's cunt. With Valarie's arguably well-toned legs trapping Chaya's face, the subby girl had no choice but to lick.

Which she did.

"Ah-!" Valarie gasped, as if she wasn't expecting that to work. "Yeah, that's it! You're-- mff, you're really good at this!"

Valarie's legs twitched, as if to protest that. "Could you like, go a bit higher? Maybe to my cute button?" she giggled.

Chaya wanted to give an affirmative, but all she could say into Valarie's pussy was a string of moans and muffled praises. Chaya moved her lips higher, pleasuring Valarie's clit. Making the dumb bimbo Domme go absolutely haywire. "Oh, yeah, that's the fucking good stuff!" It was hard to believe someone as dumb as Valarie knew the word 'fucking' -- no, wait, what was Chaya thinking? Fucking was apparently all Valarie knew in this state. It was hard to imagine she'd be able to have a coherent conversation line this. Especially with how Valarie couldn't even speak an actual word, and just delved further and further into incoherent begs and moans.

"Yes, yes, please don't stop!" Valarie moaned indecently, throwing her head back. "Ugh, you still need like, a bit of practice, but you've got, um, the stuff!"

Chaya wanted to say thank you, but Valarie just clutched her legs tighter and forced Chaya to lick harder. Chaya could feel Valarie twitching on her lips. She was obviously ready to cum -- even Chaya knew that much.

"Come on, bring me over the edge! I want to cum so bad!"

Chaya nodded, doing whatever she could to give Valarie her wish. As absurd as the situation was, that was all Chaya needed to do. Follow orders. Obey. Pleasure her Missy. And from the sounds of it, she was doing a damn good job at it.

"Mmmf, I'm gonna cum in like, 30 seconds -- no, 10, no, now!" Valarie gasped as orgasm suddenly took over her. Chaya felt like her head was about to burst in between Valarie's thighs, being crushed like a firm watermelon.

Valarie rode out her orgasm for what seemed like an eternity. Chaya kept doing what she could to keep Valarie going for as long as she wanted. Hell, Chaya was enjoying this vicariously – so was her own cunt. Distantly, Chaya felt something excellent just watching her Domme-for-a-night go completely wild. Chaya could see the last of Valarie’s brain cells melting, as her climax finished.

Finally, agonizingly, Valarie released Chaya’s face. Chaya took some sudden, deep inhales to catch her breath. Honestly, if she were being honest, she could have gone without breathing for much longer if it meant getting her Missy off.

Chaya moved out of the way, panting in her own pleasure. “T-thank you,” she gasped. “Should… do you want to go back now?”

“Back to normal?” Valarie gasped. “Oh, no, not at all! We still got to take care of you, silly!”

“But– aren’t you tired–” Chaya’s questions went ignored as Valarie sauntered over to her belongings, rummaging through them and pulling out a toy. A magic wand. One that looked much higher quality than whatever Chaya owned. Chaya’s face flushed as she imagined the possibilities for what Valarie could do to her with the wand.

“Y-you want to–”

“Yep! Get on the bed, girlie, we’ve got some more work to do!”

The rest of the night was a blur. Chaya felt herself have orgasm after orgasm, feeling herself becoming as stupid as Valarie. Just as she felt herself finish riding one climax out, she immediately went into another, squirting loads all over her sheets. After the tenth orgasm… Chaya couldn’t take anymore. Neither could Valarie.

It was a fucking amazing night. Chaya didn’t want it to end. But, it had to. Chaya put Valarie back to her normal state, and the two drifted off to sleep. Chaya wrapped in Valarie’s arms tightly.

~~

The next morning, Chaya painfully saw Valarie off with a cup of coffee for each of them, before going back to her normal life. The events of last night played throughout Chaya’s head all day, making her flush and stammer even at work. She wanted more. She wanted to… to see Valarie again, and forget about how awful her usual life was. But Valarie took off, not giving Chaya a phone number or anything, and Chaya knew she’d never run into her again. Somehow, it felt more painful than it would have been otherwise – especially when Beverly called her into her office at the tail end of Chaya’s workday.

“...Frankly, Chaya? If you make one more careless slip up, you’ll have to look forward to finding another job.”

Once again, Chaya stood in front of Beverly’s extravagant desk, getting berated and threatened. As per usual. Chaya never got used to it, and she’d always find herself having to hold back tears.

“You should pick up the slack around here,” Beverly added with a sadistic smirk. “We wouldn’t want any… pictures of yours, getting out there, would we?”

“...No,” Chaya seethed through her clattering teeth.

Beverly was a cruel lady. And she looked that way, too. Her dramatic suits could have been made of gold with how extravagant they looked, and she always donned silver earrings and perfectly manicured nails to match. Her dirty blonde hair, done into a pixie cut, only served to make her look more dominant. Beverly had always boasted about breaking through the glass ceiling, but everyone knew that she used cheap tricks and dirty play to get where she stood today.

Including blackmail.

One of the main reasons Chaya would find herself being Beverly’s punching bag was exactly that. Following a paper trail Chaya foolishly left open, Beverly found some scandalous nudes she’d taken in college. Pictures that would certainly end whatever career she could have wanted in a flash. Chaya begged Beverly not to post them anywhere, and Beverly agreed… on the condition that Chaya essentially become her bitch.

Chaya was at Beverly’s mercy. And she despised that. What she despised more? Was that Beverly obviously had no intention of firing Chaya. She just got off on making Chaya cry.

“Yes, Mistress.” And she forced Chaya to call her that. It made her blood boil.

Beverly dismissed her, and Chaya made her way out of the office. She all but sprinted with the flight sensation Beverly had left her with. Chaya was about to swipe her ID to ride the agonizingly slow elevator, when–

“You weren’t joking. She really is terrible.”

Chaya nearly had a heart attack on the spot. She knew that voice quite well; it rang in her head all day after last night. She whipped around, and sure enough, Valarie stood right in front of her. Chaya briefly gazed around. The room was empty. Most people had long left.

Questions soared through Chaya’s mind. With all of them jumbled together, Chaya simply asked, “huh?”

“I was curious what was so bad about your job,” Valarie said bashfully. “So… I wanted to listen.”

“You know, most people would call that stalking.” Chaya instantly wanted to slap herself. Why would she say something like that? She was right, of course, but she shouldn’t have said it out loud… “How… did you get past reception?”

Valarie raised her hands defensively. “I know, it looks weird. L-look, um, this isn’t the best place to talk about this, so… would you… be okay following me, for a bit?”

Chaya raised an eyebrow, before nodding silently. She had nothing to lose. Literally.

As Valarie led her out of the building, down the street, she began to talk. “You know, my place is always hiring. On a referral basis.”

“R-really?” Oh god, Chaya would have loved that, especially if it could eliminate the problem of blackmail.

“Yeah. It’s… a bit far out, though, and you’d probably have to relocate like I did.”

“Well,” Chaya sighed, finding the speed to catch up with Valarie. “I really don’t have much here, so, not a big problem for me.”

“Excellent!”

Suddenly, Valarie turned a sharp right, into… a dark, thin alley, covered in rats and leftover trash. Valarie scooted in, waiting for Chaya. Chaya looked at her with an inquisitive expression. This… wasn’t how Valarie got to her job, was it?

Well, if Chaya was going to get murdered in a dark alley, she couldn’t complain about being killed by a hot lady with massive tits.

They skittered down the alley. Valarie seemed to know how suspicious this looked, but Chaya didn’t care. The way her life was now, she didn’t particularly care if she died.

Chaya was at her low point. Nothing stupider could happen from now on.

Except, for Valarie suddenly putting her hand on one of the buildings – opening some kind of wormhole.

Chaya blinked. She could feel the blood cutting off from her brain.

“What… the fuuuuuck–” Chaya started, interrupted by Valarie slamming a hand over her mouth.

“Shh, I have to keep a low profile! Jump in quickly.”

“Are you insane?! What are you?!” Where the questions Chaya would have asked if her mouth weren’t muffled by Valarie’s hand. God, she was so strong… She could definitely snap Chaya in half… Wait, why the fuck was Chaya suddenly fantasizing about this girl’s muscles? Now was absolutely not the time!

A portal. A real, actual portal, leading to god knows where. Chaya felt like she took some time of hallucinatory drug and transported herself to a sci-fi world. Is that what happened? Did Beverly drug her with the cup of water she “so generously” gave Chaya? Chaya rubbed her eyes, trying to gain solid ground and make sure she was, indeed, looking at a wormhole going to god-knows-where.

Before Chaya could ask more questions, Valarie stopped her again.

“Sorry for this, but people are starting to stare,” Valarie murmured. “I’ll bring you back home safe, promise.”

Whatever Chaya had to say in protest was cut off by Valarie dragging her into the portal. Chaya began to scream at the top of her lungs– and then stopped, realizing they had quickly touched solid ground.

Chaya didn’t have time to take in her new, foreign surroundings. As soon as Valarie released Chaya, her wall of social anxiety broke, and the shouting began. “Are you out of your damn mind?! What did you do?! Where are we?! Why am I here?”

“S-sorry,” Valarie exhaled. “I should have explained more, but… you wouldn’t have believed me. We’re, well, at my job.”

“We’re where–”

Only then did Chaya start looking around, with a slack jaw and gaping eyes. They sure weren’t on earth anymore.

Instead of cars lining the driveways, there were flying vehicles that only stopped on the ground to drop people off. Most of the time, once they dropped off, the vehicle would just disappear. Chaya had to see it a few times to comprehend it – or, at least, try. The landscaping was incredible, and the plantlife didn’t seem confined to whatever Chaya would ever see anywhere… on earth. People walked around, seeming normal until one of them would randomly teleport or jump up and float above another.

To her left, was some kind of building, like one of her dormitories from college. On it held a sign – “Dorm #572”.

Was she in space? Chaya felt ready to pass out.

“Welcome,” Valarie patted a hand on Chaya’s shoulder, jolting her awake. “To Terminal Z. This is one of our units with a new vacancy.”

“Where… where is this?” Chaya inhaled. “And what are you?”

“A maintenance person.” Chaya couldn’t tell if that was a lie anymore. “Except, I fix abnormalities in the fabric of space-time. You go to various dimensions and worlds, tidying things up, making sure distortions – um, these monsters that can wreak spatial havoc – don’t get loose and get tamed before they can get out and hurt actual worlds. It’s a bit confusing…”

Yeah, you can say that again, Chaya grumbled in her mind.

“But, if you want to join and leave your crappy job, well… I can pull some strings and get you a place here.”

Chaya’s eyes widened. Now that was a tempting offer. “You… can? How – how does that work?” She essentially had nothing to lose, nothing to leave behind in her old world. But moving abroad was a hard enough decision to make, let alone moving to another dimension. She didn’t even have experience in maintenance. Let alone space-time maintenance!

“Well, I can get you set up to get all the powers you’d need here. You have to train to perfect them, though. Obviously, you’ve seen portals and teleportation – that’s my specialty, but we can also make barriers, summon weapons, um, some people can transform appearances. When we go see someone, or something, is corrupted by a distortion, we can de-corrupt it as well, after subduing them, and, and – oh, one more cool thing! Computers, technology, even appliances? We can control them.”

Chaya felt like she was about to collapse. “...Could you make a barrier so I can sit down?”

“Of course!”

Valarie raised her hand. Right behind Chaya, a small barrier emulating a chair appeared. It was light blue in color, like Valarie’s tank top. “...Thanks,” Chaya said. She slowly sat down, giving it an experimental shuffle. Solid as diamond.

“You’d get free rent and food and whatnot. And a salary, of course. …Of course, the salary here works a bit differently than what I’m guessing you’re used to.” Valarie was right. Chaya got paid literal pennies at her current job. “You’d have to leave your place behind, but you’ve said it to me, you have nothing to lose. Besides, you joining me means our one night stand could… maybe be a bit more.” Valarie blushed at that last part, as would Chaya if the bewilderment wasn’t so much. “So… if I can help like this, I want to?”

What Valarie was saying was tempting. Free rent and food was great, along with a real salary. Besides, it’d be sick to have powers like Valarie – the weeby high schooler Chaya grew up as couldn’t lie about that. But… it was such a drastic change. And this all happened so quickly. Chaya still wasn’t convinced this wasn’t a bizarre dream.

“I’m sorry. I don’t understand any of this. I think I should just go home. There are probably lots of people more… more fit for this.” Literally and metaphorically – Chaya barely held any muscle on her body.

“You’re sure?” Valarie raised an eyebrow. “You want to just go back to your terrible blackmailing boss and your dead end job?”

“I–”

“You can say no, I promise. All of this is optional. I’d just have to wipe your memory of everything you’ve seen here, because… you know. But after that, I wouldn’t bother you anymore.” Valarie’s voice grew quiet, almost like she realized she might have pushed too hard. Chaya felt a pang of guilt in her heart. She didn’t mean to make Valarie felt that way. “...I promise.”

“No, I, that’s not what I…”

“It’s okay,” Valarie smiled. Chaya could tell it was forced. “I’ll send you back. Let’s g–”

Chaya’s mouth flew before she could speak. “Wait, no!” Valarie paused. God, now Chaya was taking her for an emotional roller coaster. “I… no. You’re right. I don’t have anything to lose. This – being a whole… maintenance person for the whole universe… it sounded cool. And more meaningful than whatever Chaya was doing beforehand. A part of her knew she should be taking her time thinking about this.

But this? This is the escape she wanted from her terrible boss and from her lonely life. Which is what Chaya was just asking for… wasn’t it?

“I’m in.”

Valarie blinked. “You are?”

“Yeah. How… do I start?”

Valarie’s unsure smile grew into a wide grin. “Oh my gosh, yay! That’s, like, totally awesome. Means I get to get my hands on you a bit more from now on.” For a brief second, Chaya could see the manic look in Valarie’s eyes from her bimbo Domme state coming back.

Chaya felt Valarie’s hands clasped around hers. Her hands were warm, and firm, just like a good hug one would get from a dear friend. Somehow, they felt more sincere than they were during what was supposed to be their one night stand. Chaya never would have guessed yesterday evening would lead her here. But the more she thought on it, the more she knew this was the right choice. This was the way she could give some semblance of meaning to her life.

“Well…” Valarie stepped back, and opened yet another portal. Chaya peeked inside, seeing the messy interior of her own room. So Valarie really could open portals to wherever she wanted, huh. “Go grab your things, and meet me back in that alley at 9:30am your time.”

“Roger, boss,” Chaya chuckled.

“Ah, I won’t be your boss, but roger back!” Valarie grinned. “And… again, keep your goodbyes to a minimum. It’s dangerous for people to make too much of a ruckus before moving here.”

Valarie embraced Chaya tightly. “Glad to have you on board.”

“Me too.”

Chaya hugged back, for a long moment, and then released.

“And don’t worry, I won’t stay much longer on Earth.”

Chaya only had one goodbye to give, anyways.

At 9am sharp, Chaya stormed into Beverly’s room. All of her suitcases and belongings together, she interrupted whatever the CEO was doing and barged through the surprisingly unlocked doors.

“What on Earth are you doing?” Beverly hissed, slamming down the phone she was using in a heartbeat. “You should know better than to–”

“I quit,” Chaya said with resolve. “Effective immediately.”

“You… what?” Beverly blinked. It took a moment for the CEO to reorient herself. After she did, the yelling began. “How dare you! Do you even know what I have against you? You’re not thinking this through, plaything. Rescind your notice immediately.”

Chaya shook her head, gritting her teeth. “Nope. I’m gone. Send all the photos you have of me to anyone you want. I don’t give a damn anymore. I’ve found somewhere better and you can’t stop me, Mistress.” Chaya added the last bit with a high pitched mocking tone. Social anxiety be damned, she deserved this, after all the years of hell Beverly had put her through. She deserved to know exactly what Chaya thought of her.

Beverly snickered. “You’re out of your damn mind, you idiot.”

“Maybe I am. But I’ve already accepted a place elsewhere, in a completely different field, and trust me, whatever blackmail you’ve got on me won’t reach there.” Chaya shifted around, back towards the door. She probably caused more of a ruckus than she needed to. But, fuck, this was satisfying. This was the best thing Chaya had done in years. And she had every right to.

“Enjoy watching your company burn to the ground,” Chaya spat. “And fuck you. Goodbye.”

And then Chaya stormed out of the room, heading to the empty hallway.

For a moment, she stopped. Chaya couldn’t quite tell what it was, but she felt… something… off in the air. Something was following her, but not a human or animal. Was it some kind of ghost? It couldn’t have been one of those monsters Valarie was telling her about. Distortions, was it? Chaya shook her head. She didn’t have time to speculate – it was almost 9:30am, and she had a back alley to wait for a portal in.

So she ignored whatever she felt, and strolled on over. The dark feeling disappeared, moving past Chaya, and she could swear it headed for Beverly’s office. Maybe a part of Chaya did feel regret. Or maybe Beverly was just going to get what she deserved.

~~

Beverly exhaled heftily, going back to work. Before she did, she had one last piece of business to do – show Chaya’s pictures to all her friends and… well, put her on the market. Beverly was sure to make a few more pretty pennies by selling off her now former employee. What would Chaya do to resist? Annoy them to death? Cry? Beverly didn’t care, not that she ever really cared anyways.

Just as Beverly was about to hit send, she looked up. Some kind of dark purple misty cloud floated in her presence. “Huh?” Okay, now Beverly felt like she was going insane. She rubbed her eyes, and when she opened them, the cloud grew even closer to her.

What was the feeling in her heart? Fear? No. Beverly feared nothing, not even some weird figment of her imagination. Before she could ask anymore questions, she felt it engulf her. Beverly coughed and hacked as the gas went into her through her nose and mouth. She could feel her body convulsing, trying to exhale it, as she panted for the ache of release. Without thinking twice, she yelled “help me!”

Those two words made Beverly feel so weak and helpless. She hated that for herself. Suddenly, her eyes slammed shut, and she collapsed to her desk. Her brain waves shifted – she could feel it physically. What was happening to her?

She could feel the presence growing stronger, taking over her instincts, passions, and hopes – if she had hope, at all. Beverly tried one more time to make it stop, before her mind went blank.

And when she woke up, she felt she had immense power. Beverly didn’t even notice the mid-level employee now standing in front of her.

“Beverly?” the mid-level blinked. “Are you okay? Do you need any coffee? Can I get you anything else?”

Beverly coughed. She looked up at the mid-level and grinned wickedly. He looked like fresh meat. Come to think of it, so did everyone else in her company. And in the city, and in the world. Beverly had the potential to make everyone do her bidding. To make everyone her bitches.

“I’m fine,” she said, not noticing the way her eyes had turned purple. “But we’ve got some priority shifts in this company’s future.”
