Four Days on Lake Stillmind

"Thanks for breakfast," Kaz said, licking syrup off her fingers. "I'm going to head down for a swim."
Nat nodded. "I think we all should. I'm all sticky."
"Not just because of the food," Mac muttered, and Red giggled, hearing it.
"I think a swim sounds like a great idea," Jon, still the only one wearing anything anywhere other than his feet, agreed.
"There you have it, girls," Kaz said, laughing. "Jon has spoken, and we will obey."
"That is how this works," Mac said. "Apparently."
"Suddenly you have a problem with this?" Jon asked, arching an eyebrow.
Mac lifted her hands in surrender, shaking her head. "We should do the dishes, though."
"I'll handle that," Nat said. "Though if one of you could bring me some water?"
"Yeah, I'll go," Kaz said.
Jon stood. "I'm going, too. The three of you wait here."
"Water might be a bit," Mac said.
"I won't keep her too long," Jon assured her.
Kaz and Jon walked together down to the boat launch, an easy silence between them until they reached the boats, where Jon handed Kaz the pail.
"So why did you want me all to yourself?" Kaz asked, her hand lingering on Jon's.
"Well, for the obvious, first," he began, stepping closer into Kaz's waiting embrace so the two of them could kiss.
He's a good kisser, Kaz noted. Probably had a lot of practice. Probably helps that he controls minds. Probably helps that he's controlling mine.
"And second," he continued after they had made out for a moment, "I want to give you what you want."
"Mmm, and what do you mean by that?" she asked, looking down into his eyes.
"Well, I figure there are four of you, four days to go..." He smiled up at her. "Do you walk in your sleep?" he asked, and the world spun away for a while.
Kaz wandered back up to the camp, full pail in hand. Red and Nat were having an excited discussion—well, Nat was animated and excited, pacing and gesticulating, and Red was sitting on a towel-covered log, arms crossed, smiling at Nat's enthusiasm. Mac didn't seem to be around.
"Hey Kaz," Red said with a wave. "Where's Jon, did you drown him in the lake?"
Kaz laughed. "Yeah, I drowned the mind controller. Like he'd give me the chance." She put the pail down. "He decided to stay on the shore and wait for us."
"What if we just don't go?" Red asked.
"You'd never just stay here!" Nat exclaimed. "I wanna find out what he can do!"
"I don't think I can't go," Kaz added. "There's... something in my head."
Red sighed. "Oh good." She stood up. "I don't get it. Nat's all excited by this, Mac's ... I don't know what Mac's up to, and you're all weird and calm."
"Not much we can do about it," Kaz replied. "Might as well run with it, right?"
"Or enjoy it," Nat added.
"Besides, he's kind of cute. Not my usual type, but..." she shrugged.
"Running with it?" Red asked.
"You bet."
"I don't think he's anyone's usual type," Nat said. "But, uh..." she flushed a bit. "He knows what he's doing."
Kaz nodded agreement. "Water's delivered, anyway. Nat, you doing dishes?"
"Yeah, Mac'll help when she's back from the privy."
"Great, I'm heading back down." She looked at Red. "You coming?"
Red got up a bit reluctantly. "Yeah, alright."
The two of them went down the path together. "So, uh, Red... what's wrong?"
"Beside the obvious?" Red shrugged and smiled. "Just... I'm not sure. Not sure about anything, really. At times I feel a bit like Nat does, the excitement is real. Mac seems to be trying to resist, but not trying too hard, or maybe that's him getting under her skin. I just keep getting caught up in a bit of a loop when he's not around. When I see him I remember how he controls me and it's... It's just nice, you know? But when he's somewhere else, I get... worried, I guess. Plus there's the, um, implications of someone like me being enslaved."
"Someone like... Oh, of course." Kaz shook her head. Naturally the Black member of the camping crew would have different feelings about being controlled. "Still, I think there's not much we can do about it, and it seems pretty harmless."
They stepped off the forest trail. Jon was already in the lake up to his waist. "Welcome back! Come on in, the water's great."
"Seems like the three of us were just down here for a swim yesterday," Red said a bit sardonically. "This time I don't have a suit for you to talk me out of."
"Pity." He smirked. "Great sight, isn't it?"
Those words rung like a bell in Kaz's head, and from the corner of her eye she could see them having a similar effect on Red.
"What... was..." Red stammered, putting her hands to her temples. She didn't seem to be in pain; just the opposite. Her eyes were wide and her expression showed the edges of a smile.
Jon chuckled softly. "The right words, the right sounds, in the right ways, in the right place, from the right person. Magic isn't a universal science, it's a very personal art. I've just found a way to make it work for me, here. I could find other places where it would, but I know how to do what I want here." He took a step forward. He wasn't wearing any trunks, and Kaz could see the wet hair at the division of his legs. "Been here long?"
A shudder of pleasure ran through her as Kaz became more and more aware of the strangeness of the words. She felt sleepy. Red took a step forward that looked almost like she was being pulled on a string.
"They make sense when you're meeting someone, but they lose their meaning when they're out of context." He shrugged. "It seems ridiculous to introduce myself to you again, but if I did, you'd both be more enchanted than you are now."
Kaz's feet were cold and wet. Because she'd walked into the water as Jon was speaking, she realized. Red was a step ahead of her.
"This is just perfect, though. You're both the right amount of entranced for what I have in mind." Jon stepped closer and put his hands on Red's shoulders. Kaz could see the top of his penis, and only then understood that she was looking for it. "And when your friends come down, they will be, too. Meanwhile, Kaz—"
Kaz ran back and forth in the water. All her friends were there, and it was fun. She ran to Mac, jumped around a bit, ran over to Nat, who laughed as she got splashed, and looked up on the shore where Red and Jon were cuddling together, sharing a towel.
Red put her fingers in her mouth and let out a whistle. Kaz knew what that meant. She ran up on the shore, right up to the couple. Red stood up, spoke gently but sharply to Kaz, and pointed. Kaz obediently knelt. Red grabbed a towel that had been sitting in the sun and gently began patting Kaz down, drying her off. Kaz shivered in the breeze but otherwise remained still as Red had directed. When Red was done, she snapped her fingers, drawing Kaz's eyes up to Red's face.
"Up!"
She knew that word. She quickly got to her feet and immediately pulled Red into a warm thank-you hug, kissing her face gratefully. Red laughed and stopped her after a moment. Kaz stood aside as Mac and Nat come up out of the water, her hands crossed and head bowed, warming in the sun. Nat gave her a wet pat on the ass as she walked by, and Kaz wiggled happily in response. Her four friends spoke as Mac and Nat grabbed towels, and Red and Jon starting moving back uphill.
"Come!"
Red's command rang out, and Kaz jumped into motion, running up behind Red and Jon on the trail and then, anticipating where they were going, running past them and making her way to the camp. She ran back and forth between the covered log and stove and kitchen box on one side, and the tents on the other, running in quick circles until Red was there to tell her to stop. Kaz knelt down on the hard rock again as Red patted her lovingly on the head. She laid out the towel she'd been using, folded nicely, near the covered log, and pointed to it. Kaz sat on it obediently while Red went to her pack and got out a brush and comb and a bottle of sunscreen. Jon stood nearby, watching, and Kaz took note of him but didn't move. Red sat behind Kaz and gently combed and brushed her short hair, her wonderful touch pulling water from the strands and reordering the mess that had resulted from the play in the water, then rubbed sunscreen carefully into her cheeks and neck before slathering it on up and down her chest and back. The cool lotion and Red's warm hands felt wonderful.
"Alright, up!"
Kaz jumped to her feet. Jon laughed, nearby; he had put on a pair of boxer shorts and running shoes. Red continued to rub the lotion into Kaz's legs, bottom, and even the tops of her feet finishing just as Nat and Mac came walking up the path to the camp. Kaz ran over to them, embracing the still-damp Mac, picking up Nat and kissing her face extensively as the small woman giggled. Mac and Red spoke for a moment as red put the lotion on herself, but that didn't concern Kaz who was busy chasing Nat around the campsite.
"Kaz!"
Mac's sharp call of her name made Kaz stop and turn.
"Walk?"
Kaz nodded and ran over to Mac. Mac took her by the hand and led her to the uphill trail. She turned back to the other two women and said something, and they replied. Jon took her other hand, and together the three of them went walking up the hill, Jon and Mac talking around her in words she didn't care to think about.
Jon and Mac were both carrying packs with them, and when they got to the cliff where she had first met Jon, they unloaded a few towels. Jon pulled down his boxers and sat on a convenient rock, covered with one of the towels. Mac sat behind him, wrapping her arms and legs around him. And another towel was placed at his feet, where Kaz instinctively knelt. She looked up at the two of them.
Mac smiled back at her. "Suck."
Kaz moved quickly to obey, descending on Jon's already-half-erect penis with a hunger born of a need to please. As her head bobbed up and down, taking in Jon's entire length, she smiled to herself. Her favourite people were around, she was outside, she had sun and wind and water and exercise, good food and good play. What more could a good pet girl want?
