I chuckled quietly as I read the draft that Christy unknowingly emailed me last night.
Y’know, it’s kind of embarrassing hearing about yourself from someone else’s point of view. But she really has a way with words, she makes me sound like a way more attractive person than I ever could be!
And, uh, less morally gray.
No, no… ‘morally gray’ is giving myself way too much credit.
I’m definitely on the darker end of the spectrum, no two ways about that.
…
God, why am I like this…
With my mood now thoroughly soured, I tossed my phone onto my bed and stepped into the bathroom. I tried my best to just push aside those dark thoughts for a moment, letting the hot water and steam wake me up as I thought about my plans for the day.
First up is finishing my lab work, which is pretty easy. I’ve already started my lab report, and I don’t think any of the calculations should be too hard. If all went well, I should have no problem on that end!
…Ah, who am I kidding, my percent yield is always dogshit. At this point I just blame the equipment and the chemicals they give us.
Except that one organic chemistry lab where we made ibuprofen. No idea how or why I managed to get 95% back. Maybe that was the universe telling me to go into a pharmaceutical field instead of chemistry?
Nahhhhh, pharmacists are nerds. Doctors are cooler!
Anyways! Back on track, me. After labs I’ve got to finish up my part of that sociology project, and then it’ll probably be lunchtime, and then…
It’s showtime.
As I waited for the elevator to the library’s second floor, I felt a strange, lingering feeling of excitement. I wasn’t really sure why, to be honest: the library wasn’t where I even did any writing yesterday, it was in my bed at home that night. Though, given it was the only major thing that changed yesterday, maybe it really was the reason I was able to write so well that evening? That’d make sense, and maybe that power nap really was part of it too.
I rode the elevator up, stepped out, and turned to the right. I looked down at the key to make sure I knew which door was mine, and headed down through the relatively quiet bookshelves. There were a few people quietly scribbling or typing away at the designated study desks, and further down were some large sofa chairs and tables where a few people were sitting at, chatting and eating their lunches. I walked past them quietly, rounded a corner to head towards my room, and then froze in place as my heart skipped a beat.
Leaning against a bookshelf and staring at her phone was… the beautiful woman I had just written into my story.
I stood there, starstruck. I knew I made her sound gorgeous in my writing, but… this woman was not just the spitting image of her, but the absolute epitome of her. Her slim figure, her bob cut with bright symmetrical purple streaks on each side, her rounded chest and hips… all of it was exactly as I had described, and then some. My heart raced just looking at her, and I could feel my pulse quicken with every second.
There’s no way she’s real… right?
And then she turned at me, and smiled.
“Can I help you?” She asked as she slipped her phone into her pocket and started sauntering over to me. “I don’t mind people staring, especially a cutie like you! But I’d prefer it if I knew who was staring at me. What’s your name?”
I babbled something vaguely resembling human speech, as my overloaded neurons struggled to comprehend everything I was witnessing.
“Wow, haven’t seen someone that flustered in a while! Don’t worry, I was like that once, too.” She walked up to me, and put a hand on my shoulder theatrically. “Here, let me take the lead: I’m Violet Hanamori, and you are…?”
T-There’s no way… She even has the same name…
“Ch-Christy… Bow, Bowman?” I spat out.
“Christy! Good girl! What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you!” I practically melted into a puddle of arousal and embarrassment on the spot. “A pleasure to meet you!” She said seductively, taking my hand into hers and giving it a shake.
“…Y-You, you too!” I squeaked out somehow.
“I assume you’re gonna take a nap in one of those solo rooms down there? Trust me, I’ve totally done it a few times myself. Whether I wanted to or not.” She joked, jabbing my ribs with her elbow playfully. “Well, I won’t keep you from your beauty sleep: my friend just grabbed a study room on the next floor up, and I’m off to meet her for the next few hours. If I’m still up there when you’re done, then don’t be a stranger! I’d love to get to know a cute girl like you more…”
Her hand trailed down my arm as she walked past me, grinning with lascivious intent. All I could do as I heard her footsteps softly diminish was shudder with pure ecstasy as my brain stopped functioning entirely. It took me a good few seconds to finally let those feelings pass, before I shook my head to try and wake up from this wonderful dream that I was experiencing. I pinched myself just to make sure, but as I looked back I could see her figure walking through the rows of books towards the elevators.
That… that was real?!
Violet… is real?! And she just hit on me?!
Am… am I some kind of seer? An oracle? A… sibyl? Some other synonym for those three things?!
I, I cannot believe that actually just happened!
I… really want to see her again. Just to make sure that wasn’t some vivid hallucination or daydream.
But… no, get it together me! Even if she is real, she said she’ll be here for a few hours! I should just take my hour to cool down, think it all through, and work on my paper.
…Which means my legs need to start moving already! C’mon legs, you can do it! I believe in you!
Slowly, my wobbly legs began shambling toward the other side of the building. I eventually found the door I was assigned, unlocked it, and stepped inside. I set my bag on the desk, took more than a few swigs of cold water from my bottle, then pulled out my laptop. The ensuing brain freeze hurt, but I hoped it would help me get my act together.
Okay, focus, me! I’m here to write my story! So let’s get to it!
…
About 30 minutes later, I found my head resting on the desk and my project untouched. I let out a quiet groan of frustration, as I looked on at the paper and could not figure out where I wanted to take this story.
If only I could just… re-enter that fugue state from yesterday. Maybe then I’d remember what I was planning to do…
I should take another power nap.
Yeah, maybe repeating yesterday would prove the same result? I guess it’s worth a shot…
I should relax and clear my mind.
Just like yesterday…
I can feel myself falling into that same relaxed state as before.
Yeah…
I don’t need to think. I just need to relax and enter a state of hypnosis again.
…
Once I’ve become deeply hypnotized again, I will sit up straight and open my eyes.
My body slowly unfurled until I was sitting at attention, and my eyes stared into the wall ahead without seeing anything.
I will open the door to my room.
My arm lazily reached up and felt around until it gripped the handle, then turned and pulled. I felt the door open and I heard someone enter, but that didn’t matter.
I will listen to the voice next to me and obey everything it says.
“Good girl, listen to me very closely,” a familiar voice next to my ear whispered. “Here’s what you’re going to do…”
I jumped a little bit as my phone alarm began softly playing next to me. It wasn’t loud enough to disturb anyone else studying through the walls, but it immediately broke my concentration. I turned it off and shook my head as everything came back into focus.
Woah, that was some power nap…
Wait, those words weren’t there before.
Did I… enter that fugue state again from my nap?
Huh, didn’t seem to get too much done this time. I think I was probably only out for maybe 20 minutes? But hey, progress is progress! That’s still better than the nothing I’d written a couple days ago!
Good thing I set that alarm though, my time’s almost up!
…Wait, when did I set that alarm?
…
Eh, doesn’t matter. I shouldn’t think too hard about it.
I should just return my key already. And then…
Hmmm…
I really, really want to see if Violet was actually real. I mean, if she isn’t, then no harm in checking, right? Either way, my mind will hopefully stop questioning it. Hopefully.
I put away my laptop (after making sure this draft was saved), grabbed my stuff, and headed back down to the lobby on the first floor. I walked to the front desk, returned my key, and then immediately walked back to the elevators. After arriving on the third floor, I took a peek inside the reserved study rooms. No Violet to be seen. Just to be certain, I walked over to the public group study rooms, the ones that are first-come-first-served. The first one was empty, the next two had unfamiliar people in them, and the third…
The third room had a girl with purple-streaked black hair sitting inside facing away from the door, with two other girls that I was completely unfamiliar with. One of them pointed at the door, and Violet turned around and gave a very confident smile towards me.
She totally knew I’d come, didn’t she?
She uncrossed her legs and opened the door.
“Come on in, don’t be shy! I swear, we don’t bite. Well, Julie does, but she won’t bite you, I promise!”
Christy nervously walked inside the room, staring at me with awe as she did. Julie then got up and greeted her first. “So you’re the one she mentioned, huh? Julie Benson, nice to meet you!”
“Um, n-nice to meet you too! I’m Christy, uh, Christy B-Bowman.” Christy stammered back as she accepted Julie’s handshake.
“Sumi Cheong.” Sumi gave her a chill two-finger salute from across the table as she casually leaned back in her chair.
“Here, why don’t you take a seat, Christy? Then you can get to know us better.”
“Uhm, s-sure!” She slowly lowered herself onto the remaining chair, and set her bag on the corner of the table.
“You were right, Vi,” Julie said as she sat back down as well, “she is pretty cute! Where’d you meet her?”
“Oh, we just met right here in the library! You were taking a power nap in the self-study rooms, isn’t that right?” I joked towards our new guest.
“W-Well, maybe a little bit?” Christy squirmed in her seat as she answered. “I did actually get some work done, I swear!”
“Y’know, I can’t really blame you,” Sumi chipped in. “I’ve never really been to this part of campus before, but those rooms seem like they’re dead quiet. I could totally see myself falling asleep at those desks if I wasn’t disciplined enough.”
“Like a certain shade of purple is infamous for doing on occasion,” Julie jabbed back at me, smirking mischievously.
“It was one time!” I pouted back. “I learned my lesson the first time, and made sure to set an alarm!”
“Y’know we do have a dorm room you can sleep in, right?” She shot back.
“Yeah, but… I already reserved the room, and…” If Julie’s accusing eyebrow raised any higher, I’m pretty sure it’d pop right off her face. “Fiiiiine, you got me! I was too lazy to walk back!” I conceded, and she smirked with satisfaction.
I heard Sumi chuckle quietly at our little exchange, while Christy was sitting there with a nervous smile on her face. Right, I should probably make her feel more comfortable, since she literally just met us. (Or at least, consciously met us.)
“So, Christy, what’s your deal? Aside from staring at me, which was a very nice confidence boost, by the way!” I winked at her, and she blushed furiously. “What’cha studying?”
I channeled my magic quietly, willing an invisible tendril of control to slither over to our new guest. As soon as I could feel the presence of her mind, I started sending some thoughts to infiltrate her headspace.
I feel comfortable around Violet and her friends.
“U-Um, English. Minor i-in math.” She replied shyly.
“Oh, so you’re not a science major like Julie and I! Sumi isn’t either, she’s a music major.” I replied.
“Yup, 3rd year in guitar performance!” Sumi said, nodding.
I can relax around Violet.
“Oh, interesting!” Christy replied back, leaning forward in her chair slightly. “I’ve been around the music buildings, they’re pretty cool! I like going to the music library sometimes, it’s even quieter than this building if you can believe it. Not as many people there either, so there’s no shortage of wall outlets for laptops and chargers.”
I like talking to Violet and her friends.
“For real?” I looked at Sumi, and she nodded back in confirmation. “Dang, if it wasn’t such a trek I might head over there more often.”
I want to keep hanging out with Violet.
“So, what kind of stories do you write?” Julie asked politely.
“Oh, uh, it k-kinda depends!” She replied. “Right now I’m writing a superhero story for my class, to step outside my comfort zone a little bit. I usually like writing fantasy stories, like in a DnD or Middle Earth type setting! I like writing about espionage and interpersonal conflicts, mostly. Sometimes secret agent and spy thriller type stories, other times revolutionary or Robin Hood-esque stories. I just like putting characters in tense situations together and seeing how they react to each other.” She was sitting up and talking excitedly, but then she became self-conscious and shrank a little into her chair. “Sorry, I get a little nerdy when it comes to my writing! I didn’t mean to blab on!”
“Hey, you’re good!” Julie comforted her. “Get Violet going about organic chemistry and she’ll talk your ear off about it for the next hour.”
I can open up to Violet.
I figured that was good enough for now, so I took another swig of my drink before quelling my powers and responding to Julie’s claim.
“Guilty as charged!” I fully admitted, screwing the cap back on my bottle. “Trying to figure out how to turn one organic molecule into another is really fun, it’s like a puzzle! You’re given the beginning and the end, and you have to figure out the steps to get there! From what I hear from some of my creative friends, that’s how a lot of them write their stories out: You know where the characters start, you know where you want them to go, you just have to figure out how they get to it, right?”
“Yup, I’ve done that more than a few times when writing!” Christy beamed back excitedly. “Though, unlike your chemistry, sometimes that end goal can shift if you think of something better. Although, maybe it’s the same if you’re in a lab, trying to create new chemicals?”
“Maybe, though I’m sure there’s different protocol and legal stuff that goes into it. Patents I know are a big thing, especially in medicinal chemistry and the pharmaceutical fields.” I glanced at my watch and checked the time. “Oh, before I forget, do you have anywhere you need to be tonight? I wouldn’t want to keep you from your classes or anything.”
She pulled out her phone to check the time as well. “Oh, I’m good for a while! My roommate Avery is cooking dinner for us tonight, and I just need to grab a few things from the store first. She won’t be done with classes for at least another hour, though, so I can procrastinate on it a little.” She said dismissively.
“Ah, do you live on campus?” Sumi asked.
“Nope! Avery and I are splitting the cost on a two-bedroom apartment about a mile north of campus.”
“Oh, smart!” Sumi remarked. “I couldn’t find a good roommate, so I just rented out one of those studio apartments right on the edge of campus. It works pretty well, but they’re definitely a bit costly.” Her expression turned grim. “At least I’m not paying for it, but… wish I had my own place…” she grumbled under her breath.
“What about you, Violet?” Christy asked, unfazed by Sumi’s mumbling as she looked at me with rapt attention. “Do you live on campus?”
“Yup, Julie and I are roommates over at the science dorms!” I replied. “It’s a small little room, but we basically get three free meals a day from the cafeteria so I can’t complain. Plus, it’s pretty much right next to where we take our classes!”
“Neat! Maybe sometime I’ll pay you a visit and see it myself!” She said enthusiastically, before blushing and looking away. “I-I mean, if you’d let me…”
“My my, already asking to see my bedroom, before our first date? And I thought that I was pretty forward when asking girls out…” I playfully responded, dropping my voice a little bit to sound enticing. That got her blushing furiously and squirming in her seat, which made it very hard for me to keep a straight face and maintain my air of seductive composure.
“That aside, though, I had a question for you, Christy.” She looked back at me, blushing but curious. “You mentioned you were writing a superhero story, right? What’s the plot synopsis, if you don’t mind me asking?”
“O-Oh, it’s about this girl who wakes up one day to find she has the ability to control water! She’s trying to figure it all out, and has thoughts about using it for good under the name Tsunami. This one I kinda wrote from, uh… f-from the beginning, without a clear end goal in sight. Not sure where it’s going to end up honestly. I’ve had kinda bad writer’s block lately.” She fidgeted a little as she spoke, looking down at her hands skittishly.
“Maybe that little power nap would do you some good? After all, you’re my slumbering tsunami.” I snapped my fingers, and Christy’s head dropped to her chest. A few moments later, I heard her quietly chanting the exact phrases I implanted in her earlier.
“I want to be hypnotized… I want to be controlled… I want to obey… I want to be hypnotized… I want to be controlled… I want to obey… I want to be hypnotized… I want to be controlled… I want to obey…”
Julie looked over at Christy, then back to me. “Ah, so you did hypnotize her.” She said unamused, as she looked down at her hands pensively and sighed. “I figured, but… I was hoping you hadn’t.”
“I know, I know,” I could feel the crushing disappointment emanating from her as I started making my excuses. “But, here’s the thing! First off, the way I did it was really interesting, and I’ll tell you about it later. But the other reason is gonna knock your socks off, I’m and I’m not joking.” Julie looked back at me with mildly piqued interest, and I grinned as I turned back to the chanting girl before me. “Christy, would you open your eyes and demonstrate your ‘superpowers’ for us real quick?”
Her eyes drifted open, remaining lidded as her head slowly rose up. She then pointed her finger at Julie’s water bottle, and the liquid inside immediately began to crystallize. A few moments later, her water had become ice and a thin layer of condensation was forming around the outside of the bottle. All three of us stared in awe and fascination at the water bottle, completely enraptured by her abilities.
“She’s… she’s a magician like you?!” Julie asked me, trying to temper the newfound excitement behind her voice. I could only smile proudly and nod in response. “Did you… know she was a magician?”
I shook my head and shrugged. “Pure coincidence! But I’m so glad I found her, because this basically proves our theory!” I grabbed Christy’s shoulders excitedly, and she failed to react to my shaking as I continued. “Something must’ve happened to cause this, because her powers appeared around the same time mine did! And given what Alex’s friend said, it’s almost certainly connected!”
“…Huh. Guess you’re right.” Behind that relatively mild response, I could see all the gears turning in Julie’s head as she stared at her water bottle with intense focus. “So, what can she do besides freezing water? Does she know of any other ways to use it?”
“Christy, could you be a good girl and tell us what all you know about your superpowers?” I asked as I rubbed her shoulders gently.
She moaned a little before she answered. “I can manipulate temperature… turn water to ice or steam…and vice versa… also… when it’s liquid… I can make it move around…” She demonstrated it by melting the newly formed ice back into water, then moving the liquid to the top of the bottle in a manner that defied gravity. I noticed that the condensed water from the outside of the bottle also followed, and a couple droplets of water hung suspended in mid-air above the shoulders of the bottle. She dropped her hand, and the water splashed back down to the bottom while the floating drops softly dropped onto the plastic table below. “Ice and steam are harder… haven’t really tried much…”
“Okay, the chemistry nerd inside me wants to correct her observations a little,” I admitted playfully, “but that’s a good enough explanation!” I took a couple more sips of my sports drink, and it immediately reminded me of something I wanted to ask Christy today. “Christy, do you feel fatigued when you use your powers at all? Have you tried using them for extended periods to see?”
She slowly shook her head. “Haven’t tried… never really felt tired before… outside of usual sleepiness…”
“Maybe her magic just requires less effort than yours does?” Sumi piped in.
I shrugged. “Probably, but maybe she just needs a chance to stress-test it like we did with mine. Christy, what’s your schedule like for the next few days?”
“Tomorrow’s Sunday, it’s a day off… nothing really planned… Monday I have lots of classes stacked together… Tuesday I have only a couple electives… Wednesday is busy in the mornings… free in the afternoon…” She droned without a hint of emotion.
“So, tomorrow might be the best time to do some testing,” Julie stated, and I nodded back. “Well, since she’s hypnotized that’ll make it easier to convince her to come over. Do you plan on her being awake or not when we’re testing?”
“I was planning on her being awake, actually.” I looked at Christy, who was staring blankly into nothing. “I think I have a good way to convince her that she should share her superpowers with us, one that hopefully won’t raise too many red flags in her mind. Though, it only needs to work for a little bit, since by tomorrow she might be…” I looked up at Julie, and immediately felt a cold sweat form over my body. “Uhm… she, she might be…”
“Brainwashed?” Julie replied bluntly.
I looked down at my feet and shuffled around uncomfortably. “…Yeah.”
I looked back at Julie, and she let out a long, exaggerated sigh. “Violet. I am asking as both your friend and accomplice: does she need to be brainwashed?” She said accusingly.
“I…” My fingers were curled into trembling fists, my knuckles pure white. I wanted to say yes. I desperately did. But I eventually sat down, let out an exasperated sigh, and buried my head in my hands. “I know that the correct answer is ‘no’. Objectively… I never had to do this to her. But I just can’t stop myself.
“There’s this constant, nagging need to put people under my control. I don’t understand it. But it keeps pushing me to do it. I’ve been trying to control it, but it’s unrelenting. I saw her going into the study rooms, and I felt it. I tried telling myself that I should be better, to try and be the person you’ve been trying so hard to help me be. And then, the urge fought back. And it won. I couldn’t even control myself, I just needed to walk over to her room and do it. And when I did, it felt so good, so right, and then I… I…” I could feel the pounding pressure of a headache forming, as tears escaped my eyes for what seemed like the hundredth time this week. I looked up at Julie, who was staring back with pity.
“I know it’s wrong. I’m disgusted at myself. At what I’ve become. And yet… I keep doing it. I can’t control it. And there’s a-a part of me that doesn’t want to control it. I’m trying my best to fight it, though. I just… I-I…” I collapsed back into my hands, sobbing in frustration.
I really hate what I’ve become.
I looked back up through blurry eyes, and saw Julie sitting with her eyes closed and face contorted in frustration. She shook her head slightly, as her face twitched and she strained to breathe through her nose. She then looked back up at me, clear conflict raging behind those eyes. On the one hand, I could see the clear disapproval. On the other… she’s empathizing with me.
Because of what I did to her.
I wiped the tears from my eyes, straightened up, and took a deep breath to try and compose myself. I looked Julie square in her eyes, and spoke as calmly as I could. “J-Julie, I… I meant what I said. I don’t want you to become another me. I… I need to do this, but… I don’t want you to see it. I’ve already sunk my influence into you. I’m afraid that if you watch me do this… it’ll, it’ll grow. I don’t want that to happen. W-Would you be willing to, to leave for a little bit? While I do this? I… I can call you when I’m done, just… I…” My composure finally broke again, and Julie stared into the wall next to me solemnly. After an uncomfortably long time, she slowly nodded back with a strained sigh.
“I understand where you’re coming from. And to be frank, after what happened with Sue… I’m not quite ready to face that yet. I-I’ll be in the bathroom. Just… let me know when you’re finished and it’s okay for me to come back.” She stood up, picked up her phone, and quietly moved around the hypnotized girl and myself to walk out the door. She hung in the doorway for a second, then turned back to me. “I… appreciate that you’re at least trying. And I appreciate you wanting to keep me out of it. We both know what the real long term solution is, but… I don’t want the effort to go unnoticed. Thank you.” She shook my shoulder appraisingly, then finally walked out the door. As I closed the door behind her, Sumi brought her chair close and pulled me into a silent embrace that I immediately fell into openly. She cooed some soft words of support to me, and I let my emotions run their course as I leaned on her shoulder for support. Eventually I lifted my torso up and pulled away, completely drained but ready to continue.
I… had something I needed to do, after all. As much as I paradoxically welcomed and dreaded it.
“Violet,” Sumi said as she placed her hands on mine, “if you need help, please. Ask. I’m here for you. And I’m not just saying that because I’m your slave.”
I nodded appreciatively. “Thanks, I… I think I’ve got it now. It might help get me focused if I-I run through what I was going to do to her with you real quick?”
She gave me a warm smile back. “Of course, anything for you. Also,” she hooded her eyes and bit her lip seductively, “I think brainwashing her sounds hot as fuck to be completely honest.” She adjusted her seat, squeezing her legs together.
I let out a long sigh. “Yeah, I… unfortunately, I feel the same way.”
The sound of my stomach growling was enough to finally break my focus.
I blinked a few times as my room came back into focus. Whoa, was I… in that writing state again?
…Well, based on the fact my page count has doubled, I can only assume so.
Wild, going to the library really did help!
Although, wait, maybe it was…
Right! Violet! I’m… still in disbelief that she’s real, and decided she wanted to be friends with me! Her friends were really nice and welcoming, and I felt right at home with them! Especially Violet, she’s so bold and smart and sexy and… wait, stop! Focus! I slapped my cheeks and shook my head vigorously. I was with them, and we were talking about my story when…
Oh God, that’s right. I let it slip. I accidentally told them about my superpowers!
I’m super thankful that they were understanding about it, and were really fascinated with it! And wouldn’t you guess it, Violet also has powers of some sort! She doesn’t really know what they do yet, but after seeing mine she felt comfortable showing me hers! Apparently they have something to do with energy manipulation or auras, from what she gathered? But she’s still trying to figure it out. I allowed her to use them on me, and I remember it felt super nice, like floating in a warm, fluffy cloud!
I can’t wait to meet up with her tomorrow at her room! I want to help her figure out more about her powers, and maybe she’ll help me figure out more about mine!
Anyways, that’s for tomorrow! Let’s see, what all did I write today?
…I see, I wrote more stuff about Violet. I mean, she is pretty hot. I’m glad I wrote her into the story, she’s proving to be a great partner for Tsunami! Looks like they hang out for a bit, then they decide to go to her room together. Then she gives her a massage, and then…
She has powers too? I guess if she’s based on the real one that makes sense.
So, what can she…
…
Whoa, so her powers can bring out a person’s deepest thoughts? And Tsunami’s were that she… wants to be hypnotized and controlled? Apparently this is a repressed fetish she’s been holding in, which… I… is that… true…?
I feel like it… couldn’t be, but… the more I think about it…
It makes… sense…?
I hadn’t really considered it before, but that sounds… hot? I can see the appeal, just becoming a mindless slave… completely unaware of anything, and taken advantage of while you’re like that… made to think or do things I would never normally do… letting her mold my mind like clay and do whatever she wants with me, as I’m hopeless to resist… becoming Violet’s hypnotized slave, and doing her bidding without a single conscious thought… Giving my mind, body, and soul to the pleasure, fully accepting becoming her slave…
“Mmmhh,” I moaned out unconsciously, hardly even aware that I’d even made a noise. I couldn’t even read what the laptop laying on my stomach said any more, between my right hand kneading my breast and my left hand squelching away inside my folds beneath the bed sheets. Not like I really needed it at this point, as my mind was fully enthralled in this lustful fantasy as I imagined Violet having her way with my wide open mind, turning me into her plaything. My eyes rolled back as desire and need consumed me, imagining my self-insert superhero becoming so corrupted by Violet that she became unrecognizable.
Imagining myself becoming corrupted by Violet.
The flood gates opened, and the most visceral orgasm of my life began tearing through my body. A small part of me buried beneath the waves of intense pleasure was glad that Avery was out of the house, because I could barely contain my howls as I cried out in ecstasy. My hips bucked and my laptop fell to the bed beside me, and I could feel my fingers becoming drenched as I came hard under my sheets. Eventually, the pleasure began fading and I began slowly catching my breath through the afterglow of everything I just witnessed.
I looked at my laptop, and slowly reached over with my clean hand to close it. I then stared up at the ceiling, before a wave of fatigue took hold and I shut my eyes. Before I drifted off into a very sound sleep I thought about what I just experienced. The pure bliss, this mysterious new fetish, this… sudden crush over my… fictional character that came alive? Wait, why did I even reveal my powers to them? I mean, surely I have the common sense to keep a very tight lip about that stuff, right? I’ve never had a problem keeping it from Avery, so of all people, why them? And why do I feel such a strong sexual pull towards a girl I literally just met today? Last I checked, I wasn’t gay! Yet, just the thought of her makes me wet beyond belief?!
The questions kept coming. Logical inconsistencies began cropping up, and I began questioning everything. I looked at my laptop, and opened it back up. The screen came to life, and after signing in I was greeted with the story I’d been writing. The one I didn’t remember writing.
I mean, looking at what’s written, it does look like my writing style.
But these words, I…don’t remember…
…
…Huh?
What was I…
Right, my story.
But, why…
Why do I feel this nagging sensation?
I feel like I’m forgetting something.
Hmmm.
I closed my laptop, set it on the ground next to my bed, and rolled over in frustration. I feel like something’s wrong, I just… can’t put my finger on it.
Whatever, maybe when I wake up I’ll remember.
Maybe I’ll mention it to Violet tomorrow, that might jog my memory.
…
…wait…
…Violet…?
Before I could finish that thought, darkness enveloped me as my mind sank fast into slumber.
This is my first written work, and was originally made to be a script for a comic (that may or may not eventually see the light of day). If you have any constructive criticism or feedback, feel free to let me know!
Fun little addendum for this chapter: I've been sketching the characters from this story in my free time! If you want to see what they might look like when I eventually do make that comic a reality, I posted my sketches on Twitter, Pixiv, and Hypnohub!
