Lake Stillmind
Epilogue

Day 8, 9, 10…
The second week of their vacation was just as pleasant as the first.
Of course, like Avery, each of them had their little moments. Jonah got caught in a mental spiral while editing some of the photos he took of Suong and Avery, and had to be brought back from the brink of hysteria. An old flame of Suong’s called, and thought the reception on the mountain was too poor for her to actually talk to them, the memories the name dredged up conflicted so heavily with what had become normal over the course of their stay that she had a full-on meltdown. Zach, the consummate heterosexual, only snapped out of it when Jonah offered to blow him, and it took both girls using all their sexual cunning to lure him back again. And Caleb broke seemingly at random, the weight of a thousand small contradictions causing him to flee into the woods one night, only for the other four to find him and drag him back to the cabin. Each time, the person in question was fucked into submission, made to cum over and over and over until the programming reasserted itself. And the reinforcement did its job: by the final days of the trip, there was no further resistance from anyone.
Suffice to say, their vacation was quite lovely and uneventful.
“I knew it!” squealed Suong, on their last full day at the lakehouse. Avery and Jonah were doing a puzzle, with Caleb under the table. Zach was watching TV and jerking off. Suong clattered down the stairs, a stack of books in her arms. “I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Look at what I just found.”
She dropped the pile on the couch, her tits bouncing at the sudden loss of support. The other four crowded around to see what had gotten her so excited.
“The Art of Sacred Sex,” Suong read, pulling books one by one from the pile. “Tantric Meditation and Altered States of Consciousness. The One Energy: Free Love and Fourth Dimensional Harmony. Harnessing Animal Magnetism. Brides of Christ: Attaining Salvation through Erotic Union. The freakin’ Kama Sutra. Face it,” she said, jabbing a triumphant finger at Zach, “This is your parents’ sex cabin.”
“Suong! Please,” Zach groaned. “I could have lived my whole life not knowing that.” He grabbed Avery by the hair and dragged her onto his cock, an act that was becoming a habit every time Suong pushed his buttons. Avery acquiesced with a happy squeak. “I knew they were into some new-agey stuff,” he reflected, looking up at the ceiling, “but I didn’t know they were into…all that.”
“I totally called it. Remember our first day? I said your parents have boned on EVERY surface in this cabin. And I was right!”
Jonah snickered, earning him a wounded look from Zach. “I’m sorry. It is kinda funny,” he admitted.
Caleb picked up a copy of The Lotus-Eaters: A Guide to Unleashing One’s Inner Light and inspected it, turning it from front to back. “Honestly, Zach, it’s fine. No need to be embarrassed. So what if your parents believe in some weird free-love mysticism type stuff? It’s not like that has anything to do with us.” He licked his lips absentmindedly, the lingering tastes of Avery and Jonah mixing on his tongue. Now that Avery was occupied with Zach, maybe Suong would take her place? After all, they were far from finished.
“I guess not,” Zach sighed, forlornly bouncing Avery in his lap. Her little moans soothed him. “I just don’t even want to think about my parents… ugh.”
The next day, exactly two weeks after the five of them first set foot on the property at Lake Stillmind, the group loaded up their rented minivan and drove down the winding mountain driveway and onto the country backroads of upstate New York, leading them towards the interstate highway.
“Not while I’m driving, Jonah,” Caleb muttered, shooing his boyfriend away from his crotch. “I’ll crash the fucking car.”
“No fair. Zach, Suong, and Avery all get to have fun in the back,” Jonah pouted.
“I’ll take over driving at the halfway point,” Zach offered, resting one hand on each of his girlfriends’ heads as they took turns blowing him. “Then you can have the backseat all to yourself.”
In the rearview mirror, the house on the hill above the lake retreated into the distance, until it was gone.
“Finally,” Jonah groaned, slamming the gallery doors shut. After his portfolio review in the fall, he’d been granted the opportunity to host a department-funded exhibition of his work. It had been a smash success–he’d made multiple sales, a rarity for a student photographer like him, and received recognition and praise from highly esteemed faculty members to boot. But now it was late, and he was bone tired from all the schmoozing with visitors, and he still had to pack up all his unsold prints.
“Where should I put this?” Caleb asked, holding up a box of business cards, sticky tack, and last-minute exclusions from the exhibition lineup.
“By the door is fine. Ah, Suong, careful with that…” Jonah rushed over to stop his friend from yanking part of the drywall away with the frame she was trying to take down. Meanwhile, Avery and Zach were nearly stacking the other prints for Jonah to sort and pack away.
Jonah was glad his friends volunteered to stay behind and help him clean, and not only because it would be less work with five people. Jonah was just relieved because he hadn’t had the opportunity to be himself all night.
After all, he could only be himself around the four of them. And he knew his friends felt the same way.
They made quick work of the remaining cleanup, and soon, the gang collapsed in the center of the gallery, a pile of boxes waiting by the door to be loaded into Jonah’s car. “Thank you all so much,” Jonah said, lying spread-eagle on the gallery’s tile floor. “That would have taken so long without help.”
“It’s no trouble,” Avery said. She looked around furtively and smiled. “You know… this room has no windows, and no one else is likely to come in tonight…”
Suong was already stripping before her girlfriend finished her thought. “Hell yeah!” she cheered. “Let’s celebrate Jonah’s exhibition!”
It felt like the most natural thing in the world for the five of them to take off their clothes around each other. After all, how much more yourself can you be, when not hidden under layers of fabric?
The five of them wasted no time. Suong got on her hands and knees and began licking Jonah’s sex while Zach plowed her from behind, and the force of his thrusts sent tremors through her body that Jonah could feel. Meanwhile, Caleb lay on his side and let Jonah suck his cock, his fingers buried in Avery’s cunt as she squirmed with delight.
They coupled without discussion, on instinct, intertwining with a fervor that was both urgent and slow. This was normal for them. And why shouldn’t it be? People behave differently depending on the group they’re with. There are things you would say and do around friends that you never would around, say, a boss or your coworkers. This was just an extension of that.
It was ordinary, natural, unconscious. Not even worth discussing. Nor was it worth dwelling on how long they’d all been lovers, nor why that shift had occurred.
After all, it had always been (and would always be) this way.
Day 1
“This is your family’s vacation home?” Marguerite gasped, as she stepped off the team’s rented minibus. “It’s huge!”
“Not huge enough,” Judy groused as she clambered out the vehicle after her teammate. Her breath emerged like smoke in the cold January air. “There’s only three bedrooms, so we’ll have to bunk up. Four to a room.”
“Eh, it’s no biggie,” Fatima shrugged, hopping down the steps two at a time. “We’re all girls. We share hotel rooms all the time.”
The rest of the team streamed out of the vehicle and admired the house, with its picturesque view of the frozen lake. Dara, their team captain, strolled to the front and looked around, using one hand to shield her eyes from the dusting of bright white snow that powdered the earth around them. “Everyone, let’s give Judy a big thank you for letting us hold our pre-season retreat at her family’s cabin this year!”
The group cheered. Marguerite gave Judy a firm but friendly pat on the back. Judy felt her heart skip a beat.
“It was my brother’s idea,” Judy muttered, ducking her head. Nevertheless, she smiled.
Join the lacrosse team, they said, Judy thought, as the group of girls explored what would be their home for the next week and change. Meet new friends, they said. Get some exercise, they said. You know what they didn’t say? That I’d be surrounded by a bunch of unattainable hotties 24/7.
When Zach came back from his trip to Lake Stillmind, he’d somehow bagged himself not one, but two girlfriends. Their parents didn’t care (they’d always been a bit into that hippy-dippy free-love nonsense anyways) but Judy was incensed. Judy’s brother, who never beat her at anything, was now up two points in the game of love.
“Why don’t you just take a trip up there yourself?” Zach had said, last time they had a video call together. “Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to replicate my success.” He winked. “Just remember, only bring people you truly care about. The cabin’s for family and friends who may as well be family. No strangers.”
“You’re starting to sound like mom and dad,” Judy had grumbled at the time. But still, it was a good idea.
I’ll show him, she thought, emptying her suitcase in the room she shared with Marguerite, Fatima, and Dara. I’ll come home with two girlfriends, too, just to show him he’s not special. She paused, considering whether that was absurd enough to be funny. No–THREE girlfriends. Gotta stay on top.
She chuckled and returned to unpacking. Obviously that wasn’t going to happen.
When she was finished, Judy paused and frowned. What was that sound? She put her hand on the floor. It felt like the whole house was vibrating, slightly. Like a low hum.
Internally, she shrugged. Probably just my imagination.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Lake Stillmind. I'm genuinely so proud of this story, and it means a lot to me to have your support.
Going forward, I think I'm going to spend some time working on various WIPs to decide which I'm most passionate about--I'm torn between a few oneshots, a reverse-harem maledom/fsub piece, and an m/m superhero story. So maybe my next project will be one of those, or something completely new. Not sure yet. But writing has been good for my mental health, so I'm going to try to keep it up.
As always, if you'd like to throw coins at the dancing monkey, you can find my Kofi here (until they ban me at least, lol).
