Hyrotic Foundation File #4263: Prentiss Parasite

Containment Status: Secure

Hazard Level: Medium (Irreversible, Self-replicating, Hibernating)

Origin: Unknown

Description:

Subject 4263 is a small worm-like creature with dark purple coloration and light pink ridges ranging from ~1-4 cm (~.3-1.5 in) normally found in dark, damp spaces. They are blind, but can sense movement via vibration or air currents. Infection occurs through direct contact (most often from dropping from above) or via contact with a Stage 7 infection.

Timeline:

Stage 1: Infection (0-60 minutes) Upon contact with a post, 4263 will administer a powerful toxin causing paralysis within 60 seconds. Once the host is subdued, 4263 will attempt to enter the host's body via the ear canal, although other orifices will be used in the case of multiple worms or a Stage 7 infection. 4263 shows a strong preference to the ear canal compared to other orifices. Once in place, 4263 will secure itself to the host and secrete a toxin that binds it to nearby tissue and prevents attack from the host's immune system. Said toxin will induce amnesia of the previous 1-2 hours, preventing discovery.

Stage 2: Incubation (5-10 Days) Once in place, 4263 will use nutrients from the host's bloodstream to grow and reproduce. During this time, the host will experience fatigue, headaches, trouble focusing, reduced mental faculties, and a sensation of pressure in the ear.

Stage 3: Emergence (2-4 hours) Once at least two (but up to five) worms have grown, the host will begin experiencing trouble balancing and a rush of endorphins as the newly created worms emerge from the ear canal. This process leaves the host conscious but unresponsive, often accompanied by twitching, drooling, and eyes rolling back. 4263 will then attempt to enter the host's mouth and genitals, although in AMAB hosts it will integrate itself around the base of the penis. Integration will produce the same results (amnesia, immune system repression)

Stage 4: Integration (12-20 Days) The 4263 infection will continue to incubate as additional worms are formed. Host will experience increased appetite, thirst, and libido, and fatigue. As the infection progresses, Host will experience a growing oral fixation, saliva production, and constant arousal. The resulting mastrubation and fellatiation stimulates the existing 4263, giving them increased strength and dexterity for the following stages.

Stage 5: Transformation (7-10 Days) At this stage, 4263 can no longer be removed from the host, making the infection permanent. 4263 will fuse with the mouth, forming the tongue into a long (4-6 in) flat tentacle with bumps and ridges on its dorsal side. The genitals and anus will morph into a combined organ featuring a smooth tentacle 8-10 inches in length and a ribbed vagina-like cavity. 4263 will begin infiltrating the bloodstream, spreading the infection throughout the body.

Symptoms include:

-discoloration of the skin (turning dark purple with light pink coloration on the palms, nipples, tentacles, lips, iris, and eyelids)

-Increased sensitivity to light

-Enlarged pupils

-Hair becoming thin, rapidly growing tendrils, black in color

-Transformation of the digestive system into a 'womb' for incubating additional parasites

-Transformation of the ear canal into a slit-like orifice (and resulting in reduced hearing)

-Formation of 4-8 subdermal bulges running down the spine

-Increased sense of smell

The ear-like orifice has shown itself deep and flexible enough to be used for sexual purposes; it seems to be extremely sensitive to penetration and stimulation results in decreased balance and motor control. An orgasm via this method leaves the host stunned for 5-10 minutes.

Stage 6: Thrall (4-6 weeks) This stage is marked by the emergence of tentacles from the back of the host. At this point, all tentacles (excluding the tongue) will, when stimulated, leak a thick, milky fluid. As Stage 6 progresses, Host will gain the ability to orgasm and ejaculate using these tentacles, although no presence of 4263 cells can be found in the fluid at this stage. Host will begin experiencing extreme arousal and libido, to the detriment of all other actions or thoughts. T-Class Personnel have described the host as 'desperate' during testing, and as 'submissive, when given a push'. Test subjects experience feelings of sedation and lethargy after exposure to the host, requiring forced removal from the testing area. In the final week of Stage 6, 4263 parasites will begin to grow in the womb, mouth, and skin of the subject. At this point, the fluid released by tentacles contains 4263 cells and any sexual contact will result in infection. Host will lose all interest in non-sexual activities.

Stage 7A: Hivemother Queen (3 weeks+) At this stage, Host will become obsessed with initiating sexual contact and spreading the infection, becoming extremely sexually dominant. Host will develop increased height and strength, the development of fangs and aphrodisiac venom, and the transformation of the 'hair' into several dozen prehensile tendrils. If allowed, Host will insert 4263 parasites into the ear canal, mouth, and genitals of its partner, as well as fluid containing 4263 cells into all available orifices. If the parasites and infectious fluid are not removed within 6 hours, a Stage 5 infection will occur. The original host will, lacking additional subjects to infect, will find a dark, humid, enclosed space (henceforth referred to as a 'Hivemother Lair') and will use Stage 6 infected to assist in expanding/securing the Lair, as well as finding and capturing additional hosts. Upon nearing the end of Stage 6, these infected (also known as 'Hive Thralls') will be repeatedly sexually dominated. The overabundance of 4263 parasites will ensure that they do not enter Stage 7A, securing the Hivemother Queen's power and position.

Stage 7B: Hive Egg (Length of Phase Unknown) The 4263 parasite has a instinctual drive to spread; if a Stage 6 or 7A infected is unable to remove a sufficient number of parasites from itself (normally by infecting others) the transformation of a 'Hive Egg' begins. The 4263 parasites covering the host's skin will start to fuse, restricting movement. The Host will start to lose control of its tentacles as they follow their instincts to spread the infection via sex, focusing on the only possible target: the host itself. As the limbs atrophy into additional tentacles, the host loses control with increasing frequency and with increasing duration, eventually transforming into a solid mass of tendrils. This transformation is total and irreversible. The egg will begin seeding the surrounding area with 4263 parasites, infecting any who enter the area. If more than 24 hours pass without any stimuli, the Hive Egg will become dormant. Interestingly, subjects transformed by the Hive Egg and not by the surrounding parasites do not follow the typical infection timeline; instead they are simply absorbed by the egg over a period of 12-14 days.

Containment: Five (5) 4263 parasites are stored by the Foundation vie cryogenic freezing; One (1) Stage 7A infected is contained in Facility [REDACTED], agreeing to testing in return for removing parasites from itself (See Protocol 4263-B) and feeding.
