“You ready to go?” Val smiled at Weiss, already shifting her weight between her feet. Her posture was less buzzing with novel excited than it was preparatory. This wasn’t anything new to her, even if today was going to be a little different than usual.

“Are you sure that you want to go out for a run? We could do a lot of things to get you the exercise you want!” Weiss wiggled her light brown eyebrows that stood out in dramatic contrast to the pale of her hair and the snark, snow-white of the rest of her hair. “I could give you a whole new routine.”

Val’s swaying stopped, and she rested a hand on her hip.

Weiss waggled her brows again.

“I’m not opposed to doing that when we get home, but sex isn’t the only exercise I want to get today! Morning runs are the best way to start the day, and I want to start the day right.” Before Weiss could move her brows again, Val raised one of her own, a darker brown that matched the hair she made sure was still neatly tucked back in her low ponytail. “You were the one who said you wanted to come with me today.”

Weiss nodded, and let out a sigh. “I’m up, you’re up, and I want to spend time with you. I’m not really trying to stop you, but…” She motioned at herself, wearing a pair of jean shorts and a tee-shirt, and Val, dressed in a pair of navy-blue jogging pants, and a sleeveless top with the same navy blue adding straps to an otherwise crisp white top. “You’re the sporty one. I can’t justify wearing a suit when I’m going to sweat this much, but it’s still… can’t you just portal to the end of your walk and back?”

The laugh that came out of Val was loud enough that it actually startled Weiss. “Kinda works against the whole point. Do we need to get you some workout clothes that look like a three-piece suit?”

A hint of red rose to Weiss’s cheeks before she very firmly shook her head. “No, no… I’ll be fine. Come on, the sooner we leave the sooner we can get back, right?”

Val kissed Weiss’s cheek before she drew her into a tight hug. “Right. I wasn’t joking, either. When we get back, you can put me through all of the paces you want.”

“All of the paces.” Weiss grinned. “I’m going to hold you to that. I hope you know that.”

Val winked back at Weiss before she led the way outside. It was early, but already right and warm enough to feel like it was appropriate for more than just a walk of shame. Weiss took a deep breath and looked expectantly to her to set the pace.

Not needing to be told even once, Val started to run.

Weiss whined as all of her joints seized up at once the moment she tried to follow along. She wasn’t old and decrepit by any stretch of the imagination, but the sheer force impacting her body—and her less practice form—didn’t do the white-haired woman any favors. She whined out as Val got further away, but she didn’t beg her girlfriend to stop.

She had asked to come along on what was usually her girlfriend’s exercise time. Being a detriment was not what Weiss had in mind.

So she used the swaying, beautiful sight of her partner’s behind to spur her on. The distance closed, and Weiss even let out a little laugh at her own micro victory. Her body was still aching, and her lungs wanted her to reconsider, but that wasn’t stopping her from, somehow, managing to stay only a little bit behind Val.

“Are you going to keep running behind me or do you want me to slow down so you can run beside me?” Val didn’t sound out of breath at all. She shouldn’t—this was a part of her routine. She only sounded amused, and added a little extra wiggle to her hips.

Weiss’s eyes hooded all on their own.

“Keep your pace, Valerie. I think this is giving me motivation.”

Both of them laughed, and their pace kept up just as moderate for Val, and just as furiously for Weiss. It almost felt like she was constantly in the process of falling only to be held up by the sight of Val’s curves and her own sheer force of will as she pushed herself to keep going. This wasn’t a light morning constitutional. This was a run, and she was going to run with her girlfriend.

At some point, sweat shimmering across Weiss’s forehead, it stopped feeling so much like a run. It started feeling like something else.

A chase.

Val was always just out of Weiss’s grasp, and there was no more in the tank that she could call on to make her body move that extra bit harder or faster so she could catch up. She couldn’t leap forward and suddenly tackle Val to the ground to dig her teeth into the woman’s familiar ass hidden away only behind an exercise garment that practically begged to be ripped out of the way.

But that didn’t stop her from wanting that.

That didn’t stop her for lusting for her hands that at some point had started to move apace with her running to be capable of reaching out and taking hold of the woman in front of her.

I swear… running like this… I can smell her from here… Weiss sniffed at the air, her eyes faintly hooding as she tried to push herself a little harder only to find her legs burning and aching in ways that insisted that was not an option. I’m going to be exhausted by the time we get home… but there are definite perks… to having… a sweaty girl all to myself… and not just that ass…!

When Weiss had suggested joining her on the morning run, Val had expected her to be more talkative, but there was a thrill to running just for Weiss to stare at her. It wasn’t the first time that she’d put herself on display for Weiss’s enjoyment, but there was a different exhibitionism to this. They were in public, and she didn’t even need to do anything inappropriate. The way Weiss was panting to keep up with her eyes glued on Val’s backside let her feel like she was doing everything that she needed to just by keeping her usual pace.

Plus?

It was cute—in a pitiful way—to see Weiss struggling so much to keep up.

It made it that much hotter that Weiss barely needed to use any effort to overpower her even if she was physically less capable.

Eventually Val stopped, and Weiss almost plowed right into her. At the last moment she raised her arms and turned it into an awkward hug. “So! This is! This is where you. Speed us home… Huh?”

“Not a chance.” Val smiled, and gave Weiss a little squeeze. “I can take it a little easier on the way back if you’re too sore. You remember what’s waiting for you, right?”

Weiss nodded in a quick reply. “Been thinking about it the whole walk.”

“Couldn’t tell.” Val wiggled her hips.

Weiss groaned.

“But no, you don’t need to slow down. My heart isn’t about to explode in my chest, I’m just sore. Sorry I’m not very talkative, just… taking a lot to… breathe when you move like this!”

“It’s alright!” Val smiled a little softer, and gave Weiss a tighter squeeze. “It made me really happy you wanted to join me this morning. It’s still making me really happy that you wanted to join me this morning.”

Their eyes met, and no matter how many devious ideas crossed through Weiss’s mind she settled instead for a quick, soft kiss. “I might not join you tomorrow… but maybe… maybe I can join you once-in-awhile…”

“That could be fun. I’m looking forward to us being back home together, too.” Again, Val wiggled her hips, and squeezed her tight, athletic body against Weiss. “Ready to follow me home?”

“I’m ready to follow you anywhere.”

Their eyes stayed locked for what felt like a solid minute before Weiss quietly laughed.

“Sorry, that was a bit much, huh?”

“Just enough.” This time, Val was the one who pressed her lips to Weiss’s before she drew herself back and started again to sway just like she had back at home. “Keep your eyes on the prize?”

“They won’t be going anywhere else.”

Again Val took off, and again Weiss pushed herself to stay close behind her—but not so close that she couldn’t let her eyes wander. Maybe it was a little much to be openly leering at Val as they finished up the morning run, but she couldn’t imagine that anyone was about to complain. That, and Val actively enjoying it? That decided for her.

Sweat soaked through Weiss’s t-shirt, and made her legs shine in the morning sun. Every thump of her heart, every thud of her feet hitting the sidewalk, every little sway or bounce of her ‘prey’, all of it…

Am I actually understanding part of why Valerie likes this?

It was almost enough to shock Weiss out of her pace, and her leer, but not quite. If anything, that just made her grin and move with that much more deliberate effort. The woman in front of her might be carrying it better, but her body was swearing, too. Glistening. Her outfit really did just look like wrapping paper ready to be tucked under a tree, or… no.

No, it’s a lot more like getting ahold of a really good meal that I want to rip away all of the wrapping with my teeth… Weiss purred, her eyes fluttering as she deeply inhaled. Her lover wasn’t so close for her scent to truly overwhelm her, but the runner’s high made that easier to imagine.

It didn’t feel like it was just the promise of fun to come that was making all of this such a thrill. The moment had a certain delight all of its own and every moment was just drawing a greater emphasis.

I want her so much right now… Not that wanting her, not even this much, is even all that new. Weiss grinned to herself, unaware of Val’s brief look behind her. I definitely wasn’t expecting this when I asked to come along…!

The run felt like it lasted just short of an eternity, tormenting her with the promise of Val’s delicious body in front of her, and the rush of endorphins that had her heart beating hard and her own entire body feeling alive even without her over-active imagination adding to the experience with thoughts of deeply inhaling at Val’s neck or grasping a handful of one set of curves or another.

When it finally came to an end, Weiss wasn’t sure if she should whine in disappointment or let out a relieved sigh.

The sound that came out was a strangled, breathless combination of the two that Val had never heard before. “That good of an exercise, huh? Should I carry you to bed?”

“Ha… …ha…” The delay between her impression of unimpressed laughter hadn’t meant to take so long, and Weiss’s cheeks very briefly reddened again before she giggled. “You know, that might not be so bad. How do you keep up moving like that… you were going faster, and you do this every day…”

Val didn’t actually lift Weiss up into her arms, but she did wrap an arm around her as they made their way inside. Her posture, and their closeness, was enough to encourage Weiss to put more weight on the violet-eyed runner and less on her own exhausted legs. “It gets easier when you do this more often. We could make a point of doing this together. If you’d like that.”

“Maybe…!” Weiss raised a hand to gesture emphatically, only to shift it into a slow caress of Val’s cheek. The feeling of her skin was so warm to the touch, and it had Weiss’s eyes hooding in response. “Maybe… More time with you is never, ever a bad thing.”
