The Sleepwalkers Speak

A fashion designer talks about the new style she's fixated on.
I was just a clothing designer before Hypnoman gave me my new purpose. A relatively successful one, don't get me wrong. I was making 300,000 a year, easily. But the money I still earn from my day job is nothing compared to the bliss of my current duties.
I don't just design clothes for Hypnoman's henchgirls, I design uniforms for slaves. I come up with ideas for both subtle and blatant displays of loyalty to a mind controlling supervillain. And oh god, do I love it. Let me tell ya, being out on the town and seeing a girl wearing a design I came up with never fails to brighten my day. I've just come across a fellow Sleepwalker, a sister. Or at least a 'soon to be' Sleepwalker.
The Hypno Harpy's been a great help to me on this. Apparently, part of her original conditioning involved visions of the bliss of serving Hypnoman and told me of a commercial she imagined for 'Trance Chic.' That's a name for a brand I'd love to openly sell but, ya know, need for secrecy and all that. She's helped with the designs we allow to be worn in public and the ones only allowed in locations directly tied to Hypnoman such as his safe houses or Chateau Svengali itself.
My more subtle designs revolve around clothing that looks like highly polished plastic or metal. The main colors I work with are black, silver and differing shades of green. It gives off an artificial vibe, as if there is something about the girl wearing it that's...let's say 'inorganic.' There's something added to her that isn't natural, that being Hypnoman's control over her mind. While she's still an individual for the most part, the artificial element has a huge effect on her.
We add this aesthetic to everything from sports bras to one piece swimsuits to sandals and tank tops. My personal favorites are the tank tops we sell to women who work out frequently, and I love seeing women wearing these especially at the gym I go to. It's like getting to see the muscle of Hypnoman's operation. There's two other Sleepwalkers at the gym besides me and we've even been able to discuss our admiration for Hypnoman once or twice, even though it was kinda brief.
These are the designs we can openly sell at clothing stores run by Sleepwalkers like Tantric Visions, Cloud Nine, Shimmer, stalls at open air markets and even some chain clothing stores where we have enough Sleepwalkers working to make sure our stuff gets sold. We make sure all clothing we can sell in pubic is affordable for the average consumer. Hypnoman has a team of businesswomen who make sure that the price is always low enough for the vast majority of Sleepwalkers or potential Sleepwalkers to purchase.
That doesn't mean we don't sell more high end clothes to Sleepwalkers with a bit more in their wallet but I don't design those. I wasn't trained on how to make those so the decisions involved with what richer Sleepwalkers wear is out of my hands.
While I still need to exercise some level of restraint with the clothes we sell in public, I can pretty much go nuts with the clothing worn by 'full time' Sleepwalkers. Some of them are as basic as a white leotard with a black or green spiral on it, a tank top with spirals over the breasts or a pair of sandals with the words 'slave girl' on the straps. Then you have ones like a t-shirt showing a woman with spirals in her eyes and a smile with the caption 'brainwash me, baby,' a leotard with the word 'suggestible' written in cursive and a crop top with the caption 'I dig re-education.' Lesbian Sleepwalkers wear armbands with the pattern of the lesbian flag with a green spiral in the center. I'm even putting together some lingerie with the help of a few other girls.
Trance Chic is a brand I'll give my all to, no matter what.
