Kelly Sharp joins a Christian mom group with a secret.

This story is somewhat based off of Christian mom groups prevalent since the 1980s.

I tried getting some of my hair to stay down for that felt like the fifth time in ten minutes. It just wouldn't cooperate. Here I was dressed to the nines for what could be the opportunity of a lifetime and the hair on the right side of my head kept popping back up!

I was at a field office for a Christian mother's network, Moms For Morality. My family moved from Chicago a month ago and I felt like I'd be among kindred spirits if I joined.

"Kelly Sharp?" I heard a woman say. I looked up to see a woman in black heels and a blue dress looking at me.

"Y-yes, that's me."

"I'm Ashley Davis, I'm the branch recruitment head."

I stammered a bit.

"H-head?"

"Yep. I'll be in charge of your interview. Please follow me." I was right behind her as we went into her office. The room was painted a deep green and had a few plants near the left wall. The window let in a radiant view of the gardens outside.

"I've been told you're a newcomer to town."

"Yes ma'am. I've got two daughters, Hannah and Katie, they're both in fifth grade."

"Are you enjoying Diamond Bay so far?"

"We're still getting used to having a lake visible from our bedroom window but it's starting to feel like home."

"I'm happy to hear it."

"Th-thank you, ma'am." She smiled.

"Please dear, you've already got a good chance at being able to become a member."

"I...uh...thank you, ma'am."

"You're welcome, dear. Now, you might've heard that Moms For Morality has been making connections with a few other organizations so we can better function. Policy dictates that I show you a list of those sponsors to as to see if you'd have any objections to us working with any of them."

I smiled. She turned her laptop screen so I could see it. It showed a red and black spiral with a pentagram and a goat's head in the center. I...I couldn't look away. I was shocked by what I was seeing but being angry was almost...beyond me. I couldn't get angry.

"Now, you're probably in a deep enough trance for me to tell you a few things. The group you were hoping to join doesn't exist anymore. Mothers For Morality was acquired, for lack of a better word, by a Satanist cult by the name of the Dark Temple. Every woman in our organization was shown this graphic, first the leadership and then the rank and file. We now act as an advocacy group for the cult. Mothers For Morality exists in name only. We are now the Mephisto Moms. Including you. I want you to say the phrase 'I am a Mephisto Mom."

"I...am a Mephisto Mom," I said blankly.

"Again."

"I am a Mephisto Mom."

"Again."

"I am a Mephisto Mom." She smiled.

"Now, I'm going to turn off this display. When you wake up, you will be overcome with joy at having become a Mephisto Mom and you will want to hear what it's all about. Do you understand?"

"Yes..."

She turned the display off and I blinked a few times before feeling like I drank five cups of coffee. I was so hyped. I was a Mephisto Mom now.

"Please," I said to her. "Tell me everything. I want to know what it means to be a Mephisto Mom."

"Eager, aren't we? Well then, you will absorb everything that I am about to tell you, is that clear?"

"Perfectly," I said with a nod. "My mind is an empty cup for you to fill."

"A Mephisto Mom is an obedient slave of the Dark Temple. She is not a cultist herself, but she follows its orders without question. She is a pawn in their political and social agenda."

"Is a Mephisto Mom loyal to them only or does she work for other cults?" I asked.

"She follows only the orders of the Dark Temple but she is an advocate for Satanism in general gaining political and social dominance in American life. There will be some supplementary material in an email you will be getting later today."

"I can't wait," I said with a smile.

"A Mephisto Mom is politically active. She votes for whichever candidate has ties to the Dark Temple or any other Satanist cult. We will be sending out instructions for who to vote for in local, state, and national elections. Whether it be for mayor, county sheriff or head of the school board, she always picks the Satanist candidate."

"I understand. What else am I to do?"

"You will encourage women in your friend group to do the same, as well as encourage them to join Moms For Morality. If you have a social media account, you will use it to spread content favorable to the cult's aims. Even your homeowner's association is a target for conversion."

"What about my family?" I asked.

"A Mephisto Mom is a loving mother and a devoted wife, assuming that her spouse isn't abusive. She always praises her children's achievements. She also has a substantial sexual appetite. How long has it been since you and your husband had sex?"

"Ryan and I? About three months ago."

"You will have sex with him tonight if possible. You will watch porn when alone from time to time as well as serve as a pleasure slave at cultist meetings."

I blushed and grinned.

"I'd be happy to offer my body for their carnal purposes!"

"That's wonderful to hear." she said with a smile. "So, welcome to Mothers For Morality. You should be getting an email with some supplementary material later today. Praise the Dark Temple."

I giggled.

"Praise the Dark Temple."

I was taking a bath when I went over the material they sent me on my phone. I felt electrified the rest of the day, like I was walking on air. I was a Mephisto Mom now, a woman dedicated to serving her occultist masters. I would bring Satanism to my community and my nation. My vote and voice were weapons of the Satanist movement.

I opened up the email after turning off the faucet. It showed a picture of a smiling young woman in an apron with two kids next to her and her husband. Emblazoned on the front of her apron was a blood red pentagram. I smiled when I read the caption. "A Mephisto Mom is a loving mom." I read them aloud under my breath. I scrolled down and felt my toes curl in excitement at the next image. It showed the National Mall packed with smiling people of all ages and ethnicities gathered around an enormous obsidian statue of a goat man sitting cross legged. The caption was simply 'our vision.'

It was my vision now. I'd love nothing more than to see such a thing become reality. I wanted to bring Ryan and the girls to DC for the statue's commemoration ceremony. Right below that image was a schedule of upcoming local elections in my area as well as a list of who I was to vote for.

I would be happy to help install them into positions of power, of influence in my community.

After all, it was what a Mephisto Mom did.
