Nearly fifty years ago, Lacie Gilbertson meets, and finds a mentor in, her idol.
A costumed Super Heroine saves the city from peril, unaware that she is being stalked by five sinister and shadowy beings.
After a year of laying low, an old enemy returns to have his revenge on Omega Girl.
After fighting off a diabolical supervillan, a young heroine succumbs to a subtle but insidious trap.
Battered, nearly broken from her ordeals, Omega Girl returns once more, as a new threat emerges from the shadows.
Parker strives the keep the citizens of River City safe in the vaccum left by Omega Girl’s departure, but the new dark threat looming in the shadows may be too much for him to face alone...
Lacie continues to struggles to find herself, while a new Evil, long hidden in the shadows, begins to emerge. An important crossroad, a dire choice... but which way will Omega Girl decide?

Lacie’s world has fallen. Through her inaction, Jeremiah King has conquered and enslaved the world itself, and now seeks to conquer all other realities as well. Thrust unfairly from her world of bliss, Lacie returns to find her world changed, twisted into a desolate parody of itself, where evil rules the day, and all others who dared to stand against King’s tyrany gone, either enslaved to his will, or slain outright. Can a fallen heroine find the courage and strength to challenge an enemy that no one, including herself, has been able to defeat?
Investigating the simple disappearance of a student from the local college, Eva uncovers a deeper conspiracy going on behind the scenes. A threat, as large as any she and her fellow Supers have face, looms just over the horizon, hidden behind a veil of normalacy and peace. Can she and the heroes of River City stop the threat in time, or will the momentary peace be forever shattered by a force of change that threatens not only the city, but perhaps the entire world?

For the most part, the Light & Shadows stories timeline criss-cross so the order of Light or Dark doesn't matter, but there are a few exceptions.
Light & Shadows (1) Light
Katie Ann Frasier, daughter of Lacie Frasier, follows in her mother’s footsteps, and strives to protect the people of River City as Luminaire, the Light of Justice.
Light & Shadows (1) Dark
James ‘Jimmy’ Frasier, son of Lacie Frasier, tries to resist following in his family’s footsteps. River City has more than its fair share of heroes, and all he wants is to live a normal life. Alas, destiny seems bound and determined to thrust him into that role.
Katie and her friends win a radio contest and travel to Miami for a week of fun in the sun. The fun and games turn serious, however, as a local nite club owner takes a liking to the young beauties, and tries to make them into her willing, loyal pets...
Light & Shadows 2 Dark
Still resistant to accepting the role of hero, Jimmy attempts to try and maintain a normal life. Fate has other plans, however, and a simple work assignment to fix a client’s computer turns into something much more dangerous... with far reaching repercussions.
Light & Shadows 3: Efflugence Rising
Dealing with the aftermath of her experience in Miami, Florida, Katie Frasier tries to deal with the uneasiness between her and her best friend Jessica. Meanwhile, dark shadowy forces are targeting her for an unknown purpose. Will Luminaire be able to triumph?
Light & Shadows 3: Dusk Descending
Finally giving in to the pressures of his family, and to fate, Jimmy decides to embrace his family’s legacy as a costumed super hero. However, things quickly turn sour when his first altercation with a super villain results in severe collateral damage and the death of innocents. Suddenly, the would-be hero is labeled a murderer and fugative. Has destiny conspired to place him in the role of a supervillain after all?
Light & Shadows 4: Nebulous Reunion (with Madam Kistulot)
Depressed over relationship troubles, Katie perks up at the news that her favorite band, Symphonic Nebula, is in town performing. A reunion with her older cousin Sylvia LaSilvas cheers the young heroine up, especially when Sylvia decides to play matchmaker and get Katie and Jess back together. The happy reunion is cut short, however, when a new enemy emerges from the shadows.
Light & Shadows 4: Midnight Dusk & Silver Dawn (with Madam Kistulot)
On the run, from the law and his own demons, Jimmy seeks refuge in Midas City. His cousin Aurora LaSilvas, convinces him to stop running and face the consequences, promising to stick with him to the bitter end. His problems do not end, however; blamed for the deaths back in River City, he finds that trouble has followed him there as well...
Light & Shadows 5: Shadowed Past, Brighter Future
Katie and her new girlfriend go out to dinner, but a quiet relaxing night on the town takes a sinister turn. A chance encounter with Veronica Albinn leads to chaos as her past catches up to her, and she and Katie are abducted by an old foe.
Light & Shadows 5: Dark Road To Redemption
Returning home to face justice, Jimmy Frasier discovers there is more to his case than It seems. Struggling to put the past behind him, he begins working to repair the damage his actions have caused to the community, while Eugene focuses in on the source of the threat.

Life is good. Katie and her girlfriend, Jessica, are moving in together, starting the next phase of their life together. They’ve even reconciled with an old rival from their past, becoming friends again. The future looks bright with no clouds on the horizon... but sometimes when things are so bright, you don’t notice shadows hiding just around the corner...
Light & Shadows 6: A Darklight Shines
Life for Jimmy Frasier has finally returned to normal. Taking the new name ‘Darklight’, he has worked tirelessly to repair his reputation and improve his situation. His luck turns, however, when a chance trip out of town lands him square in the middle of a dire situation which threatens to become an international catastrophe.

River City, a large modern metropolis, protected and defended by its champion, Omega Girl. But a city needs more than one protector, and every hero has a story to tell. These are those stores...
The following three stories happen more or less simultaneously. The order given is suggested for the best narrative impact
1st) Light & Shadows 7: Radiant Twilight (with Baltimore Rogers)
Recovered from his previous trials, Jimmy seeks to continue moving forward with his life. Along the way he meets Devon McKinley, the girl, literally, of his dreams, the person who has shared his nocturnal visitations with. Things seem to be going well, but when old foes returns from the shadows, the fragile peace he has come to enjoy may be shattered beyond repair...
2nd) Decerto Terminus
The time has come. For nearly half a century, Eugene Frasier has lived with the threat hanging over his head, that the one enemy that even Armor Man could never defeat would one day return. The day has arrived. His brother, Duncan Frasier, has finally emerged. Old enemies and few friends unite as he makes his stand, determined to face his enemy once and for all. Eugene is determined to bring the fight to his nemesis in a final climatic showdown that could determine not only the future of his family and friends, but the entire world as well...
3rd) Light & Shadows 7: Fading Light
A new villain has come to River City, seeking to bring down not only the fair heroine, but the entire city. Luminaire joins with new friends to save the day, racing against the clock trying to save the city even as she herself begins to succumb. In the end, final victory comes but not without sacrifice...
