Microstory that my Patreons voted on for my faux love goddess Jb, and since it was in May I also made it fit Mermay.

Content warning: non-consensual hypnosis, tentacles, coils, kissing, worship, under the seeeea

Charissa the mermaid swam below the ocean surface, watching the twinkling colors of the sun’s rays reflect through the water. Her tail swished by the surface, glittering in every color as the sunlight hit it.

She was bored.

She’d only seen one human vessel on the waves today, but her attempts to frighten the crew or throw them off course had failed to bear any kelp. They weren’t near any rocks to crash into, and she didn’t feel like climbing aboard to kidnap one of the sailors. Ultimately, she let it pass.

Since then she’d moved closer to a rocky stack she could lead a passing boat to crash into, but of course fewer boats sailed so close to those.

Her parents would have chastised her for being so near the surface, of course. She sometimes kidnapped sailors, but what if a sailor kidnapped her? What if humans discovered their undersea kingdom?

Charissa scoffed at the idea. So what if they kidnapped her? She was a daughter of the rulers of the sea. They were basically the gods of the sea. They would just summon a storm to smash the ship, or rise up and destroy those silly humans running around on their silly legs.

She leaned back and floated up to the surface. She shut her eyes; might as well get some sunbathing in.

As she rested on the calm sea she felt a soft grip curl around her chest, belly, and tail. She chuckled and giggled.

“Oh, a massage, for me?” She rubbed the tentacles of whatever octopus or squid took an interest in her. “Well, as long as you’re not too fresh, now—”

She yelped as the tentacles pulled her back under the sea. Another wrapped over her shoulders and curled around her neck. A pair of soft hands squeezed her face.

“Just who do you think you are?” Charissa shouted. She struggled as the tentacles bound her arms down. A red-eyed, full-figured lady appeared before her, full pink lips turned in a smile. Her pink and red hair spiraled in the water.

“Not to worry, mon amie,” she said, “I am friendly, and simply wanted to get to know you better.”

“You must ask a princess of the sea to get to know her,” Charissa said. “And she will say no to peasants like you.”

“Oh, my apologies,” said the lady in tight red. “I’m rather more used to just taking what I want.”

Charissa felt another tentacle under her scaly butt, but this one felt different, stronger, less hollow, quickly building in girth as it wrapped a loop around her. She felt scales on it, unlike the smooth tentacles around her, and the mere touch of it sent her body quivering.

She ceased the whipping of her tail, and this new gripping body twirled around her tail fins, shaking her breathing. This lady seemed to—quickly figure out—Charissa’s most sensitive spot—and she didn’t want to struggle now.

“Well—” She had to focus on calming her quivering voice or she might moan—“I suppose that does sound like royalty.”

She leaned closer, as best she could in the binding tentacles, and smirked with a raise of her eyebrow in what she hoped looked equal parts conspiratorial and flirty.

“So what is it you seek from this princess of the sea?”

“I was hoping to get to know your kind better,” the lady in red said. “I understand you are deities of a sort, and I myself am a goddess.”

“You’re a goddess?” Charissa asked. “A goddess of the surface?”

“A goddess of my own dimension,” she said. She leaned closer, and Charissa stared as hearts pulsed through her eyes. “And soon to be your love goddess, Jb.”

“Love goddess?” Charissa said. Now this sounded interesting.

“A love goddess indeed,” Jb said, leaning closer until her grinning face filled Charissa’s vision.

Charissa chuckled as the hearts in Jb’s eyes seemed to ripple through her vision.

“And are you going to share some off that divine love with me?”

“Oh, yes,” Jb said. She cupped Charissa’s chin in a hand, and the mermaid gasped as the coiled grip Jb had on her squeezed tighter. Jb pulled Charissa’s tail up to her back and wrapped around her, tying her in her coils. “I’ll share all the divine love I have with you, and you just have to worship me for it.”

“I . . .” Charissa’s smile grew lazy and wobbly as the hearts filled her head, but what Jb said sounded wrong. She didn’t worship people. Her people were supposed to be worshiped.

She wanted to disagree, but she found it hard to think when she stared at Jb. Maybe she was already sharing that divine love with her, and to drink of it led one to worship.

No, Charissa hard her pride. She would never—

Jb kissed her lips, soft and sea-moist, pulling her thoughts into a spiral of the kiss. Before Charissa realized it Jb had her arms around her, pulling her tighter into a spiraling, coiled hug, fingers twirling through her hair and gripping her face as she snaked her tongue around Charissa’s.

She was only a princess of the sea, while this was a full love goddess with her own dimension.

Their breasts squeezed together as Jb squeezed their lips closer together. When she released the kiss Charissa’s tongue hung out, mouth locked in a panting grin. The hearts of Jb’s eyes pulsed back into her vision and Charissa’s mind melted into the hearts.

Of course a mere princess should worship a divine love goddess.

“That’s a good little princess,” Jb said. She nodded and forced Charissa’s gaze to follow her in a circle.

“Goo’ li’l ‘cess,” Charissa mumbled. “Worship my love goddess.”

“Good,” Jb said. “Now, lead your love goddess to your kingdom, please. You must let me share my love with your people.”

“Mus’ share’r love,” Charissa slurred.

“Especially the king and queen,” Jb said. “I am quite eager to learn if they really are gods down there.” Her smirk dropped. “Although if you’re anything to go by . . .” She brushed her tail along Charissa’s body. “My hopes have been dampened a little. Sadly, it doesn’t count if you only think you’re a god.”
