'Al Dabaran' is the name of a star, yes, but it also means 'a follower'. I chose it because, in my writing, I try to follow life as it is - wild, raw, unapologetic, sometimes frightening, always full of opportunities and always full of loss. A very in-your-face kind of writing, I daresay; nothing fancy and fantastic, as all I will roll out is drawn from real-life experiences, escapades and occurrences - or the yarns I have heard.
