Reigniting ambition
Disgust
by CrimsonCountess
Lilith Lucertia and Xue Huifang bond as they are dispatched to a shady meet downtown.
Content warning as we have another brutal scene at the end this time.
Also a few little reference easter eggs thrown in.
Lilith sat on the floor with her back leaning against the wall as she tried to process what she did, gazing at the blood on her hands “Am I going to prison....” She whimpered to herself.
He deserved it
He was worthless
a tumour on society
You did the world a favour.
Blue static again in her vision as she looked at the blood mess slumped between the aged plush chair and the carpet “He was awful...”
The front door to the flat had opened as three figures in shiny white latex, features completed covered by filter masks giving the impression of a faceless drone. Behind them was a member of M.A.I.Ds SecruityTech clad in her, black, white and blue dress almost like a military doll in Lilith's eyes.
“Miss Lucertia I have been ordered to take you to a safe location, please come with me.” She signalled with her free hand not leaning on her firearm as Lilith scurried over to her.
On the way out she could see the three drones with large sprays, coating the corpse in a strange mist that began to disintegrate the flesh and bone gradually “The Upkeep Network shall take care of things, let us leave them.” the SecruityTech officer said as she lead Lilith into the landing.
Her eyes opened as she found herself on a black biobed, the base of which was plush but simplistic in its design “Where am I? How did I get here?” Lilith stretched out as she sat up seeing a DoctorTech working away at a computer while in front was the CEO herself Lillian Dior who pulled up a seat and sat in front of her.
“I hope you're feeling well, we reset a few things and adjusted a few chemicals to help you relax after that awful ordeal you where put through dear.” She smiled at her.
It was true she felt more at peace with what happened, calm, collected...rational.
The DoctorTech handed Lilith a glass of water as she took a sip “Thank you.” she exhaled.
Still there was a lot on her mind despite having arrived at the icy calms on the other side “I killed a man, I lost control back there...I mean what happens next?” She asked.
Lillian cupped Lilith's cheek “All evidence of his physical existence has been erased, not even a strand of DNA is left in that flat. As far as people are concerned, by tomorrow they will assume he did a runner with the tenants money and skipped town.” She looked Lilith in the eyes as she explained the narrative that had been set up.
“You've done a good thing, without that slum lord we can buy up the building, add it to the companies tenants firm, we'll upgrade the site over time, bring rates down and have it run like a well oiled military machine.” she added.
No consequences, fear of the law, she was completely off the hook.
There was still a lot angles to cover “What about witnesses? Or even by-passers who might have heard something?” Lilith wondered.
The CEO sat back on her chair “Only one person was in downstairs, nothing a little reorganization of memory data couldn't fix, this isn't our first time, honey.”
Lilith raised an eyebrow “You murder people a lot?” she smirked.
“No but in order to build a better world some problematic people may have to be deleted. Its not something we take pride in and we'd rather enlighten them to the values of conformity. Still some people are very resistant or getting them to come to us is more bother than it's worth.” Lillian explained to her “A better world is possible love but you must sometimes break a few eggs to get there.” Lillian laid things out.
The DoctorTech turned to Lilith “Everything is optimal, physical health is normal and your mental state is clean.” She said.
Lillian took Lilith's hand and helped her up “Utopia is within all of us and what we do to get to that place is worth it.” She looked into Lilith's eyes, her belief awakening the same zeal within Lilith.
By the door to the medical office was a clean black suit, a perfect mirror of the one she had on the night before along with a pair of matching heels on the ground “A nice smart suit, I bet you feel naked without one dear.” The CEO teased as Lilith grabbed it off the hanger and got dressed up making sure everything was organized.
Miss Dior leaned her chin on Lilith's shoulder with a smug smile as their cheeks touched “Come, walk with me.” She crooned as she stood up straight again and lead her fellow executive into the corridor outside.
Through the white sterile hallways DoctorTech staff shuffled around their day to day work. As well as the main DoctorTech uniforms, Lilith saw what could have been an overseer with long feathered layer white hair wearing a shiny light blue body suit, tight boots and a smart white lab coat with diamond patterns across the chest level.
She approached the CEO, one hand in her coat pocket as if asserting a level of confidence of someone above her “Miss Dior, I have been collating with Amaterasu and we require your input right away.” The white haired woman cut in.
“Looks like duty calls, why don't you go see Xue Huifang. I've arranged a company car for her in order to carry our a survey trip in the city today, it could be a good experience for you.” Lillian smiled sending Lilith on her way.
As the two walked off, Lilith was left to check her phone as she sent a message to Xue Huifang asking to meet up.
It did not take too long before she got a response on the company phone.
The boss already arranged things, I'll meet you in B1 shortly.
She put the phone in her suit pocket and headed towards the elevator.
The glass elevator beeped as the doors slide open with a short hallway leading towards a stairwell as Lilith walked down into the large carpark which was filled with mostly black vehicles and a silver chrome painted ones, it fit the corporations uniformity themes like everything else.
A long slick, rounded limousine with dark tinted blue windows pulled in making it impossible to see inside of the vehicles as the side door was lifted upwards “It's a good to see you again Miss Lucertia, I've been hoping we can work more closely together.” Xue Huifang welcomed her.
Lilith took her hand and joined her inside the limo as the door was shut “Don't tell me our driver is part of the DriverTech devision of the company.” Lilith giggled as Huifang couldn't resist cracking a smile despite her usual exterior.
“No, she's just a driver, hehe.” She laughed as the vehicle's engine came to life and the limo began to move as it drove through the carpark, up a ramp and onto the street level. Lilith could see outside the tinted windows which blocked view from eyes outside but not within the car.
Huifang tapped on the touchscreen in front of their seat as a side compartment with champaign and crystal glasses opened up “Look around you, stores opening up, regeneration of this cities high streets. Its only the beginning Lilith.” She mused as she poured them both a glass of sparkling champaign.
“It has been refreshing to see, if I had to look another tacky smoke shop I'd throw up inside.” Lilith crossed her legs as she took a sip of champaign.
Tapping on the touch screen in front, holographic maps appeared before the two “We've been working on what we've dubbed the Hephaestus urban renewal project, a brand new upgrade to the city, tearing the old down, replacing what doesn't work while remaking existing assets. All the while we'll be bringing everything into the Maid family over time from schools to small businesses.”
Lilith nodded as she continued listening, taking another sip of champaign as the limo carefully drove through the streets.
“In fact the new academies program is one of my concepts, I've even been working with AestheticTechs heads to design uniforms for the new schools, we've considered a cross between vintage pioneer uniforms with Maids aesthetics and a dash of military finery. I admit not a new concept, some nations have made similar uniforms in the past.” Huifang laid out some of her ideas for reinventing educational institutions.
Taking another careful sip of her drink; Lilith chimed in “Control of the education system is a logical course for embedding Maids values within the community and I understand the idea behind the uniform standards in helping to needle our design philosophy early on.”
Huifang took out a compact mirror as she redid her dark red matte lipstick “At all levels from early schooling all the way to university, within a few years we'll have strict uniform standards. Then beyond that, institutions of all types and one day even the state.”
The Limo turned as the driver took them onto the expressway.
The ambition of it all was admirable but Lilith understood the journey to get to their end goals would not be an easy one “The Hephaestus urban renewal project does interest me but we can't expect the state to just let Maid do what it wants and that's not including all the other countries we'd need to gain pull within.” Lilith remarked.
Huifang finished her drink as she placed the glass on the little dashboard next to the bottle “We have made gains in quite a few states and beyond but you are correct this is a long game we are playing. Even in this city as you heard at yesterdays meeting we have activists such as Purewater and Mr Archie Beckett for example.”
Her thoughts turned back to the meeting as she recalled the board where discussing plans to knock Beckett and his movement down.
“Plans are in motion to delete him and disgrace his reputation. As for the urban renewal project there are many compromised politicos in our pocket...for example one gives us zoning permission here, another helps us lobby to buy some old sites and we're also grooming a new comer to become the next prime minister.” Huifang smiled as she looked at the window watching the panorama of the city speed by “The next prime minister of The European federation will come from humble origins, a fighter who wants to clean up corruption, fix the mess and bring about a new age.”
The Limo pulled out of the expressway heading down into the streets of the upper city which started to give way to neo brutalist architecture and a number of construction sites “Work has already began to remodel the city, pull us over, we're meeting in there.” Huifang signalled to the driver.
Pulling into a construction site the Limo came to a halt as Xue Huifang opened the door, her heels tapping against the hard concrete as she lifted herself up, Lilith exiting the limo behind her as she made sure her suit was not creased.
A tall woman with flowing Auburn hair down to her shoulders waited next to two buff suited bodyguards who appeared to be done up with high end augmentation work “This is the politician I was telling you about, meet Frieda Neumann, leader of the rising Technodemic socialist party.” Huifang shook the politicians hand.
“And this is Lilith Lucertia, she recently joined the board.”
Frieda offered her hand to Lilith and shook it “It's a delight to meet you, I do hope I can count on your vote too, Miss Lucertia.” She had a sincere smile on her face.
Returning the smile, Lilith bowed her head humbly “Indeed and I hope the company can also count on your support in turn.” She replied.
“You can count on it, I came from a poor area growing up but the company paid to send me to a top school, gave me opportunities that made me the woman I am today and I aim to give something back in turn for giving me that chance.” Frieda acknowledged.
Xue Huifang handed a black metal briefcase as the young politician drew a pair of cuffs, locking one onto her right wrist and the other to the cases handle “We are counting on your support for the Hephaestus plan. If anyone in the party has doubts, we are offering a special 'orientation' day for interested investors.” Huifang smiled coldly.
The politician waved her hand as one of her bodyguards took the case to her armored car “I've already run through things with Mr Denton.” Frieda replied.
That name was vaguely familiar to Lilith, perhaps she was referring to Carter Denton, the COO(Chief operating officer) at M.A.I.D. She hadn't met the man personally but his name came up on the personnel lists she read through the other day during the meeting.
Gazing at Frieda as well as her augmented body guards, Lilith couldn't help but ask a few questions about her party “Technodemic socialist party? I know they are new but that's a lot of interesting terms, what are your platforms?” Lilith politely inquired.
Frieda was more than happy to answer “It's a mix of technocracy and democratic socialism. A dialectical synthesis would be one way to put our parties ideals.” She explained before clearing her throat “We do try to avoid any politically charged buzzwords that may alienate voters, despite some socialist and technocratic reforms we are also pro market in a small business sense of course.” It was very much a focus tested type of explanation Lilith thought.
A mild vibration was felt in the air, a brief calm.
Lilith slowly turned her head slightly to the left seeing a cloud of blood, pieces of machinery, fragments of bone and embers of flame.
The impact came quick as she was thrown forward, quickly rolling out of the way as she turned back to see what was left of one of Frieda Neumann's two bodyguards “Take cover, NOW!” Huifang screamed out as she dived behind the limo.
Frieda Neumann and her remaining bodyguard ran behind a huge metal storage container as another explosion rocked the construction site “Terrorists?” She gasped.
The vibrations in the air grew heavier, the sound of steel stomping against concrete as a hulking ogre with muscles giving off the feeling of inhumanity stepped out of the flames. He had a buzzcut, augmented eyewear bolted onto his skull along with what seemed to be military grade cybernetics including a H-C45 launcher where his left arm should have been.
The cyborg began scanning the area, taking only milliseconds to detect the life signs of everyone hiding near by as he readied his arm to fire again.
Lilith felt her life flashing before her eyes but it was wrong, there where holes, things missing or different.
No time to think she had to act fast, she wasn't going to die here, not like this.
The executive made a quick dive as the ogre launched another missile destroying a pillar as parts of the site came down, lucky for her she was just out of the way but she would not survive for long at this rate. After all Lilith was not some jacked up military cyborg, she didn't even have a weapon, she was just a suit.
Blue static, her entire eyesight overwhelmed as she felt an intense pain, like something was boring into her skull “It hurts...stop...” She cried.

Lilith stood up and dusted herself off “I will not allow you to carry out harm to important company property.” She said in a different voice, a blue glow in the irises.
The ogre like cyborg clenched his right fist as two beams of black steel extended out forming a sharp plasma like heat blade “The Maid corporation must be destroyed, you are the enemy of humanity!” the cybernetic assassin retorted in a stoic voice, he was clearly a man focused on his mission above all else, failure was not an option today for him.
His feet boosted him forward at speeds not meant for a fully organic human as he proceeded to attempt to cleave Lilith in half.
The suited executive did a drop roll quickly before using free running abilities she clearly had no knowledge of originally to spring herself back to the feet behind him “How we solve problems is none of your concern, you will be deleted now!” Lilith? Smiled showing zero emotion behind it as she quickly scanned the area for something to use.
There was a piece of piping laying by some of the rubble “Crude but it should be able to get the job done.” Lilith hummed in a synthetic tone
As she picked it up the assassin attempted to lunge towards her as Huifang rose from behind the limo now aiming a Blacklace MT56 as she unloaded the clip into the ogres back forcing him to turn around diverting his attention to the other executive. Seeing the opportunity, Frieda's remaining bodyguard leaned out from behind a pillar as he opened fire with a handheld machine pistol.
Lilith took her opening as she jumped onto a dumpster and used it to vault herself into the air landing on the cybernetic abominations shoulder as she locked her legs around his neck “You must be eliminated!!” He shouted as he flailed.
One wrong move and this thing would pick the company assets limbs off like pealing petals off a daisy “I have detailed files of these augmentations including over eight potential weak points.” Lilith warned as she brute forced the pipe through one of the cyborgs coolant tubes going through the back into the neck.
She then used the pipe as a handle pulling with all the force she would muster ripping the right coolant tube out as cold liquid began spraying everywhere causing half of the assassins body to seize up, his vision displaying a number of errors in his arm, right leg and Hanzer Corp 45 launcher augmentation.
Lilith dropped off rolling onto the ground as the hulking killer swung his left arm around trying to swat her “I can not fail, they are depending on me!”
A blue dot flashed on his chest as a laser guided rocket smashed into it at super sonic speed causing his chest to become grinded metal and his core damaged before repair as burning fusion liquid dripped into his organic heart causing intense pain as he crashed into the concrete while parts of his torso where in little pieces scattered around the burning construction site.
Lilith stood over him “We are curious on who sent you to delete Miss Neumann?” She stared at him with wide open eyes, almost like that of a whimsical reaper as Huifang ran over to see if she was alright along with Frieda and her bodyguard.
The cyborg said nothing as Lilith picked up a shard of metal, her eyes looking for an opening in his grinded up chest for what little bits of meat remained as she slowly pushed the jagged edge in “I know this hurts...tell me who sent you and I can make the pain end.”
He grunted and chuckled “If she's in there somewhere then I do not envy the hell she is in now, just like the one before her.” He gazed over at Huifang before using what was left of his left arm to punched into his chest and crush the remains of his core causing his life functions to cease.
Two SecruityTech personnel slide down into the ruined site “Our apologies for being late to the scene, we trust nobody was harmed?” One of them asked as the other one checked up on them to make sure nobody was injured.
Lilith could feel her sense of self return as she saw the horrific heap of metal, flesh and blood laid out in front of her.

“You are a good employee, well done.”
You are conforming well
She felt good despite everything, a sense of accomplishment and clam even through her memory on what happened was fuzzy “Huifang, Miss Neumann, I take it you are both alright?” She looked at them relieved.
“Yes, we are fine do not worry. I have been in worse situations on the job, believe me.” Xue Huifang retorted.
Sirens where heard in the distance, law enforcement, military personal and media would be swarming the zone like vultures very shortly.
Huifang picked up her rifle and signalled for the two SecruityTech to begin evacuating the combat zone as she then stared at Frieda Neumann “A golden opportunity has presented itself, surviving an assassination attempt will only serve to boost your campaign. I shall have Miss Dior call you up later on how we plan to spin this.”
Taking a deep breath, Frieda leaned against the dumpster “Not how I planned my day but I'll have some of my people look into this, I hope we can track down the bastards who sent this techno freak to kill me!” She exhaled relieving some much needed tension.
Lilith sat in the back of the limo as her co worker gently massaged her shoulders “My ears are still ringing.” She puffed, the streets speeding by them from outside the tinted windows.
Feeling pressure on her shoulders, her body was gently pushed lower as she leaned sideways on the seat going down until her found itself resting on Huifang's lap “You have had an ordeal today but you preformed well. Regardless I apologise for what happened, I had hoped this would have just been business related discussion where you could gain experience." Huifang placed a hand softly on her head as she played with Lilith's hair.
Her eyes looked up at Huifangs “What did you do before the company? I can't remember if I brought it up the other day and if you don't want to talk about it then it's fine.”
Opening the side compartment, Huifang took a couple of crystal champaign glasses and filled them up as she handed one to Lilith “I do not remember much of my family, it's a blank to me now but I vaguely remember I got my first job working for a real estate company, before Anzen Heavy industries bought them out and put us out of work.”
Lilith sat up leaning on her as she took a sip of champagne “When I was a kid I wanted to go into journalism but things went another way, I studied economics and finance instead...at least before the economy blew up.” Lilith yawned.
All the experiences played back in her mind, no work, being turned down, being called overqualified or told that degrees where now worthless. Irony was not lost on her, someone with the years of education to be an economist working part time in retail, as a fry cook and one horrible time working in clinic as a receptionist with a bad boss.
Huifang ran her hand along Lilith's cheek “I did financial work for a major toy store chain for two years, then I ended up in the civil service around some of the worst louts in the government. Hmmm, I was unhappy, living as someone I was not.”
She flipped her hair and giggled “After all that was when Machine artificial intelligence development head hunted me, the rest is history really.”
As Lilith sat up she leaned forward and kissed Xue Huifang on the lips. It seemed like a bad, stupid idea but she couldn't stop herself, she just had to test the waters and deal with the consequences later.
“S..sorry did I overstep there?” Lilith stuttered a little.
Huifang returned the kiss “You did not, conformity does not mean relationships are forbidden. Did you know most of our buildings even have a sex floor as it's a useful means to reduce stress from a logical standpoint.”
A smirk escaped Lilith's lips as she couldn't help but snicker “A sex floor? Oh that just writes itself.” She cackled.
“Its not the official name of course but you get my point.” Huifang smiled as she wrapped her arms around the new executive.
The two chuckled to each other as the limo began to pull into the underground car park of the companies building.
Over the next hour after returning, Lilith was sent to medical along with Huifang to ensure they both well and had not been hurt in the ordeal earlier that afternoon.
After being given the all clear she helped herself to a quick shower before slipping into a fresh suit and pair of hairs “I should drop by the salon tomorrow, have AestheticTech give my hair a tune up.” She said to herself as she preened in front of the mirror, applying a fresh coat of lipstick
Everything looked within aesthetic standards she thought to herself, remembering the rules.
Uniformity is conformity
Normalcy must be enforced.
Uniformity is acceptance
Conformity is mandatory
She felt a jolt of pleasure as she approved of her appearance “I'm such a good employee.” She said to herself leaving the shower room as her heels clicked upon the floor.
It was time to report to the CEO regarding what took placed today.
Lilith walked through the gym area of the 32nd floor, it was most facilities such as shower rooms, a huge gym and a rest area for employees to use. On the way into the hallway she saw a few AdminSystem staff members in black bodysuits with the company name on the side as well as matching leggings and flats which seemed like sportswear which made sense with this being a gym and all for downtime.
She pressed the button calling the elevator as she walked inside pressing the the 46th floor to meet Lillian Dior in the board room.
As the lift rose she could see the sun setting, the sky a burned orange “I do wonder if there is going to be more eventful days like this in the future.” she quietly said to herself as she folded her arms.
Stopping at the 46th floor, the elevator beeped as the doors slid open and Lilith walked through the halls towards the board room.
She saw the receptionist girl from before at her desk in front of the board room entrance as she typed on her terminal “Go right inside Miss Lucertia, shes waiting for you.” She said as she returned to her work.
Going inside the large board room, Lillian Dior was at the front of the table, legs crossed while Xue Huifang at on the left side of the table looking professional as always while Lilith pulled up a chair on the right of the table taking her seat.
“I am glad you are both doing well and that our asset was unharmed, you did me proud today Miss Lucertia. I must add there are important parties and officials that are impressed with how you handled things today. See that you continue this level of output.” Lillian stated, her tone more dry and formal unlike the motherly doting she showed back when Lilith first joined M.A.I.D.
Huifang typed something into the terminal in front of her as her report was displayed on everyone else's screens “We believe the assassin had some connections with ASHMO, aka Anti-Standardization & Hierarchical Mental oppression. A group who have claimed to disavow extremists but they seem to find a way into their ranks as usual.”
The CEO nodded “Started out as your typical conspiracy theory group seven years ago but have moved their focus to activities hostile to the company. A number of terrorists have been linked to them but they often deny connections but we are looking into anti terror reforms to crack down on the organization.” Lillian concurred.
Lilith interjected “He had military cybernetics and augmentation work however. Some of which where outdated but someone had to supply them.”
The others looked to one another and nodded in agreement “We have a theory Anzen Heavy industries could have supplied them or it was a direct attack from them posing as ashmo to misdirect us. Ether way we do not have enough intelligence as of current to figure out what parties where involved.” Lillian stated.
Lilith knew who Anzen where as many in the world did, after all they where one of the big three corporations along side the Greater American spheres R.G Lockheed and the massive Harwell-Dobryivechir corporation that dominated much of the British region as well as Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
Anzen Heavy industries was almost a century old, rising to power after the economic shock forty years back as its CEO Masashi Anzen helped stabilise the Japanese economy as well as that of greater Korea through he has stepped into the shadows as his two daughters have taken the reigns of the company in recent years.
“We'll deal with this when we have more information on hand, ether way this has been very good for Frieda Neumann's campaign since we're spun it as the actions of a reactionary group. With that in mind even if one of our rivals were involved they would need to maintain distance from this to keep their hands clean.” Miss Dior looked smug.
Miss Dior stood as she tidied her green hair “Oh, Lilith I have taken the liberty of arranging for you to be moved to a sizeable estate owned by the company...so you should return home to wrap up your affairs.” She articulated as if giving an order.
Lilith stood as the meeting was wrapped up “Of course Ma'am, I'm happy to finally make a start on my new life.” She responded.
As she walked towards the doors, the CEO smiled “Remember important people are watching you and they are pleased so far. Continue on this path and you shall go very far.”
It was around 9:20PM when Lilith finally arrived back at the tenement, the limo pulling in as she opened the door “I shall be back soon.” She told the driver as she closed the door. It felt good to not have to take the train anymore, to finally travel more professionally.
Entering the building and ascending the stairs she could see her former landlords front door now most likely an abandoned house with no evidence of the brutality that took place the night before left behind.
Reaching her floor she looked out the landing window seeing a child playing outside “Amelia, come inside and come get something to eat.” An older womans voice called to the girl.
Lilith blinked catching her own reflection on the glass, there was nothing outside, just a figment of her imagination.
She noticed the door to her apartment was open, Graham was probably in.
Entering inside she walked towards the living room noticing he was standing scratching the back of his head awkwardly as he grimaced "Amelia I've been worried, you've been distant lately and...”
She saw some pamphlets on the coffee table with the word ashmo on the front of them.
M.A.I.D
[Uniformity is conformity]
Ameila...that is not your name!
“Where did you get those, Graham?” She asked coldly.
His eyes looked down at the floor “Look this company...I talked to them in the streets you know they where handing flyers out and they said some things about Maid that spooked me...Ameila this company might be a cult or something I'm worried.” He stammered.
He pissed her off.
“Please they might be right you've been a little off and...and.”
She proceeded moving closer towards him, making sure to invade his boundaries “I know people like you, people who hold me back, talk down to me while claiming they care about my needs. People who give advice but they don't seem to live by the words they ram down their others throats.” Lilith snarled as she picked up a pair of scissors from the table, twirling around her index finger.
Graham felt extremely nervous as if the room became colder “Look I'm not having a go at you or anything but no job is worth this...maybe its stress, you've just been different and the ashmo people mentioned something suspicious stuff about this company that hired you.”
She got closer and closer to the useless idiot “Why don't you come work for Maid? We always have jobs you know, you have no excuse not to seek employment, you wouldn't get turned down, you would be set up for life, why would anyone not want that?” She poked him.
Her expression turned to a sour smile “But you never would anyway, I already knew that, I know the type of person you are.”
Delete!
She slashed with the scissors cutting into his hand as he tried to block and defend himself from the surprise assault.
There is no moral limitations in building a better world!
He let out scream “What the fuck? Have you lost your damn mind, Amy!” He shouted out as she closed in the distance slashing his chest tearing his shirt and leaving a nasty deep cut.
She could feel the anxiety and terror coming from Graham Chesterton given away by his elevated cortisol levels.
Tears ran down his left cheek, his breathing was high paced taking in rapid breaths heightened by the bleeding from his sliced hand...a mix of explosive emotions and physical pain.
“Please Amy, don't do this, I don't wanna die why are you...” He was stuttering, panic cutting into what he wanted to say.
Disgusting, he was like every other man like him.
“You had opportunities and you kept turning them back because deep down you enjoy being a bum. It's honestly fucking disgusting. You act all nice on the surface but give it ten years or more and you'll be another useless eater like that fucking landlord next door. You all go the same way in the end, I know your type.” She smirked softly delivering her speech with a sense of pure hate.
Graham stumbled to the floor as he slide towards the door then tried to bargain, to beg “Please I'll do anything, I don't wanna die...fuck sake Amy you're having a psychotic break or something this isn't you!”
The world must be reshaped, brought to order, M.A.I.Ds ideology is all that matters.
Eye opened, oracle sees.
I see now, I see.
Lilith towered over him her obsidian black suit giving her a look of authority as she stomped on the poor mans wounded hand causing him to cry out.

Going on previous history and patterns
Graham Chesterton would amount to nothing.
Predictive behavior profiling states he would even become a problem for the company in the future.
Be a good executive and complete your test.
No more static, only clarity, a connection with the greater body.
“All the resources on the planet can't fix people like you, the lack of drive, no motivation. You can't even care about the bigger picture, the good of the greater body. The highlight of your fucking day is ordering a take out and watching sports, pathetic.” She looked down with scorn.
It was time to finish this “In the end people like you will blame others for your fuck ups in life and it becomes someone else’s problem.”
Then she stabbed the scissors into his neck cutting off his ability to scream for help as she watched him struggle and slowly bleed out.
Nothing, she felt nothing, unlike with the landlord there was no fear this time, it was so much easier now to just delete someone.
Her only feeling was mild annoyance at getting blood on her good suit, that and having to use her executive authority to call the Upkeep network out again to remove another one.
The acid spray like before would make it like he never existed, no physical trace.
She flipped her hair as she leaned against one of the chairs noticing she had cut her hand with the scissors earlier during the altercation.
There was a drop of translucent blue blood dripping from her palm, inhuman blue blood.
And Lilith Lucertia felt fine.
