The interview

My first hypnokink story so I am a little nervous but I hope I can grow this into an expanding universe involving themes of corporatification, generification and horror.

I welcome all feedback.

Amelia Gilliam, often just named Amy by her friends had been a part timer for much of her young adult life, barely making rent which left very little to enjoy, well the little things in life.

It was the way of the world after all, gone where the days of her forbearers where one could afford a house and car flipping burgers.

Back then you could get a nice house, a good car but now the same thing would only afford you survival, it was a universal tale she thought to herself as she finished brushing her teeth, washing the brush off then gargling some water before spitting it back out. After that was all done she made sure her hair was tidy and well groomed.

Her flatmate Graham a white man with unkempt chestnut brown hair lay on the couch nursing a cooling mug of coffee “I heard you landed an interview with...them.” He smirked sipping the lukewarm coffee.

She looked towards a full ashtray being reminded of the reek of weed coming from the fabric of the old sofa “I don’t mind you and the guys smoking that stuff but could you at least spray the living room down later?” She sighed.

“Yeah yeah but man you really want to apply with that lot?” Graham forced a returned to the original topic.

Amy buttoned up her blouse and tried to touch up her make up in front of the hall mirror “They're one of the biggest job creators in the country now and I need this gig because that pig landlord is breathing down our necks.”

Taking a quick look in the mirror she tried her best to tidy up her shaggy brown hair once again which was always a nightmare to style with how floofy it had been but she liked it and refused to get it cut short.

“You’ll preen yourself to death at this rate, you look fine, chill.” Graham smirked from the sofa near by.

The company she was going too was a megacorp called M.A.I.D, a name she thought was stupid and whoever picked it knew what they where doing even if it was an acronym for 'Machine artificial intelligence development]'

“They just give me the creeps, like you know Peters girlfriend? Lauren? Bagged her self a job there right? Next thing you know I see her at the Woods Cafe just out of it, like it was a different person completely.” Graham went on a rant.

Amy picked up her purse “You're being paranoid, it's just a job and a decent paying one at that. Sides if this works out I might be able to treat the gang to take away this Friday.” She grinned heading out the front door.

It wasn't too long when she entered the landing until her large middle aged landlord Paul Robson cornered her “You didn't pay in full last week and you're due for the next payment this Tuesday.” He threatened right up at her face, his breath reeking somewhere between a mix of toothpaste, cheese and beer if such a mixture was humanly possible.

Paul was a portly man, not very bright, not that it meant he lacked intelligence just that if the gods gave him a brain he simply cared not to use it over the five decades he had existed within the world as he lived life on auto pilot.

Little more than an omnipresent bully enjoying what little power his life afforded him between watching reruns of old sitcoms and sports on his smart-pad.

“It's just five credits I was behind and I've got an interview today so...”

He cut her off “So you'll be homeless if I don't get this weeks payment and what you owe me plus interest.” He smiled and walked off down the stairs.

Amelia took a deep breath trying to control her anxiety, the inside of her chest shaking with tension “Fucking asshole...”

For all the money he wanted, the boiler was never fixed, maintenance was never done.

Still just another day in the life of the part timer squad as she jokingly referred to her friend circle who where on the same boat she thought to herself as she went down the stairs towards the landing and exited out onto the street “I better get to the station, hope I have enough money for the return fare.” She pouted to herself.

The train pulled into the southern district was long and dreary as Amelia gazed out the window seeing digital displays along with billboards for the company she was going for an interview with.

It felt invasive, as if they where an inescapable force at this point with how big they had become in such a short time.

The old train was ST-750 which was built a decade before she was born, recalling the time she and her Grandmother took one to Durok Highlands during the summer holidays when school had closed up.

It was both a mix of nostalgia but also a reminder that there had been zero investment in public infrastructure over the decades by each government in power.

Things only got worse thanks to the autocratic Helgalist party which had an iron grip on the nation for four terms lasting five years each, leaving the economy in ruins after they where finally deposed by a desperate coalition of parties who had no other policy agenda beyond getting the authoritarians out of power.

There was a musky smell on the train, a light decay which hinted at the vehicles age and yet it was still chugging along after all these years.

“The next station is South central, you may now alight from the train.” the announcer proclaimed over the trains speaker system.

The train made a slow buzzing sound as it pulled into the station, doors opening as Amelia stepped out into the city.

Rainfall was annoying, it seemed every time she had to go to a job, a doctors appointment or an important event there was always rain or clouds following her around like a curse “My good suits going to get all soaked, fuck this!” She sighed to herself increasing her pace to try and get to the interview quickly in hopes she could minimise the damage.

Taking the stairs down from the station, she entered the open streets, busy with heavy traffic, electric vehicles going back and fourth along the roads as she walked past some boutique stores offering clothing well beyond her price range. There where also some electric smoke shops, at least about nine that she could count, the cockroaches of what was once the high street after it was gutted over the decades.

Going through the busy high street she saw a poster for the remake of mahō shōjo Crystal Princess Ametrine Udon Mikoto which she heard mixed things about but she was a huge fan of the original anime as she thought about dusting off her boxset tonight and maybe having a binge watch with some hot chocolate.

Half a mile walking from the station the building was hard to miss, a giant brutalist concrete and tainted glass tower which has invaded the aesthetic of the city center like that of an brutalist alien craft that had landed in the middle of the urban sprawl. Bystanders walked back and fourth along the pavements, three activists were near by protesting for something called 'ASHMO' That Amelia didn't care about, most likely religious nuts or some wingbat group.

She entered the front door, the massive lobby a sterile white, beige flooring with panel lines. In front was a reception desk with three office ladies that had similar hairstyles and wore the same suited blouse all working on flat screen computers. There was a minimalist look to everything but nothing quite like the technology companies of times past, it felt new but also gave off a feeling of optimization.

Some screens sat high above the open lobby showing off company products, fashions and even a promotion for an up and coming media arm of M.A.I.D.

The middle woman looked up at her, not emotionless but stoic “Amelia Gilliam, correct? Orientation, auditorium number five.” She pointed out before Amelia even said hello or gave out any personal information.

There was something unsettling about that “Uh, thank you.”

It took a while to find her way around as she navigated various wide shiny corridors, the entire ground level of this building feeling like a maze as she wished the receptionist would have given her a map but finally she got there “Pain in the ass.” She huffed to herself.

Four sets of doors where open leading to her destination as she saw a line marching in slowly, people from all walks of life attending today in hopes of securing a job like she was “Blood hell there’s a lot of people here, this is gonna be competitive isn’t it? Dreading I’m not getting the job today with this many applicants.” she moaned quietly to herself cursing her lot in life but if she didn’t get the job she’d just try try again somewhere else, such was the life of the part timer squad she thought to herself.

Suddenly the line started moving again as she headed inside.

The auditorium looked state of the art, designed with a slick black aesthetic, blue lighting but not too overpowering allowing the look to have a synchronicity to it.

A crowd had already taken their seats, dressed in the best clothing they could afford in hopes they would land a job today with Amelia being one of them.

As she took her seat the lights dimmed as the company CFO Miss Rosalina Lufia took centre stage, a woman with long luscious purple hair wearing a white shiny suit with a long skirt and matching white heels who unlike the rest of the uniformed office girls with matching black hair styles, stood out the most.

A screen came to life with an animation of M.A.I.D's circular logo as the presentation began.

“I would like to welcome you all today to orientation, as you surely know assuming you did your research, Machine artificial intelligence development goes back countless decades with humble beginnings, producing business computers, simple robotics for use on the factory floor and circuitry.” She opened up with.

The screen turned to an animation showing the history of the company and strange imagery between frames or maybe Amelia had just imagined it.

Miss Lufia continued her presentation “Over the years our corporate family has branched out to artificial intelligence, the real deal unlike certain stock market scams of times long passed. We made a huge push into media, networking and of course rehabilitation programs.”

Amelia felt relaxed as she watched, her voice, the light from the screen just felt...nice.

“Uniformity and conformity.” Miss Lufia spoke in a smooth voice, pointed towards the footer under the logo.

Those words felt good, uniformity...conformity.

Conformity and uniformity…

Conformity is mandatory…

Serve the interests of the company…

Miss Lufia’s heels clicked as she took a few steps forward “Uniformity is a brand identity that promotes a design consistency, we want our products to conform to a high standard, thus we adopted the slogan, We wish that all our employees internalize the values of conformity and uniformity in their daily lives.” She said with an almost asmr quality to her tone.

All the tension Amelia had coming in was completely done, it was like being in a dream like state as she soaked up everything the CFO was saying, even if to the layman it was little more than a PR puff piece.

The talk kept going on but it felt good to listen too “As the company has grown we’ve began expanding into new industries outside our safe zone, this includes fashion, fusion powered vehicles and as you might have seen in the promotions we are making a push to start a media firm.” Miss Lufia boosted.

She tilted her head slightly noticing all the others in their seats seemed passive like she was. Amelia's intuition would have set off alarm bells but it was hard to pull her attention away from the presentation, the strange quiet droning sound all around her, that blue glow.

It was best to just pay attention to Miss Lufia, it was important to listen to her and make sure she didn't miss anything important as she badly wanted this position within the AdminSystem.

AdminSystem...she wondered where she heard that term but brushed it off. Maybe it was something she read about the company while prepping the other day for her interview, that's right.

After talking for the next half hour about the company history, it's products, public works such as how MAID gives back to the community and then Miss Lufia finally did the closer.

“Good news is you are all hired, after all the AdminSystem is always growing. Through some of you thanks to our testing standards will be sent to other corporate divisions based on your skill sets, you will be escorted soon to get your paperwork then be processed.” She gave a smile that was somehow both emotionless but had an air of smugness about it.

Everyone stood up from their seats at the same time, blank expressions on their faces as they all slowly left in an orderly fashion row by row as some AdminSystem girls waited at the doors to lead them to where they where ordered to go.

Amelia wanted to get up and follow the others out of the auditorium to get her employment paperwork but her body refused to move as she felt extremely tired from the long orientation “Why do I feel so drained.” She whimpered to herself, her words slurring.

Then she drifted away into the abyss of sleep.

Amelia found herself in darkness without form, maybe this was what non existence was like and yet she could think, was aware of herself, a chain of thoughts existing in this darkness without physical form.

Maybe it was darkness just before being born.

A cold blue light soon gave form too the endless crushing darkness, she could see her hands again.

Lines of code, symbols, blue text, it was hard to read but the light created logic in a place where once there was nothing, then came a dull static.

Ameilia had form again as she walked towards a large screen, wires, tubes and pipes growing out of it like vines plugged into everything like an infestation.

The old world order must be torn down.

Rebuild, reconstructed.

Rational

Logical

Uniformed

In her chaotic life over the years, having a logic to the world would have been nice. All those years going form place to place never really knowing what she wanted, then as she got older dreams faded, ambition was put to the back of her mind as survival came first.

Soon all you knew was survival, it consumed everything.

You will soon find your place within the hierarchy.

You shall become what we need you to be.

Her eyes began to open, just a strange dream in the end “Crap did I doze off? Oh fuck me, I've messed things up!” She started to hyperventilate a bit, overwhelmed by a crushing dread mixed in with a cocktail of embarrassment.

She was still in the auditorium, how much time had even passed? Despite the hall being empty there was one person still there, a woman with long forest green hair wearing a shiny black blouse as Ameilias eyes gazed down towards her legs in black stockings and matching black heels.

"Just relax... focus on me and compose yourself, dear... I can see you staring at my legs, you know. So eyes up here." Her voice was calming yet commanding, and as Amelia looked up she made eye contact with the Woman's deep green eyes, piercing Amelia in a way she hadn't quite experienced before.

"No I didn't mean to- I have to get to the place- Get my paper work and-" Amelia barely managed to stammer out before the woman reached out towards her, holding her hands as a way to offer comfort.

"You're not meant for the AdminSystem, Miss Gilliam. But I wish to assure you of a few things, just to put your mind at rest."

It was hard to stop herself from blushing lightly, just who was this woman who was so wonderfully confident in invading her personal space?

She continued “The first is you will be starting a job here at MAID today and the second thing is you are going to get the life someone of your worth truly deserves.”

The woman helped Amelia up from her chair “I'm Lillian Dior by the way and I have been observing you with great interest Miss Gilliam. Now why not follow me up to my office.” She smiled.

Taken a back as the name rang through her head, a name she saw on the news, on front covers, on the net, it was the very CEO of M.A.I.D itself. Ameilia tried her hardest to remain cool but it was becoming more difficult with each passing moment “Don’t mind me I’m just, ha…oh goodness.” She tried to breath deeply as she stood up from her seat pressing her hands against own her cheeks as she rubbed them towards her mouth.

Lilian Dior chucked “If you need a moment I do not mind. I know how it must feel being near a big name but I assure you I’m an ok girl when you get to know me.”

Ameilia caught her breath as she held her hands together “I’m fine, don’t worry about me its all good.” She forced a smile.

Leaving the auditorium they travelled through the sprawling steel white corridors until reaching the main reception again where the two AdminSystem girls bowed their head in respect towards the CEO.

“Employee #32563 make a note to network that I am not taking any calls for the next two hours, I have some personal matters I must attend too.” Lilian told the girl in a more colder clinical tone than the more personal one who spoke to Ameilia with.

The Adminsystem girl typed into the touch screen “Of course Miss Dior I’ve already sent the orders through the system.”

Above them in the huge open lobby the screens where displaying an advert for something known as SecurityTech, the imagery of women in dresses which looked like a hybrid of a frilly suit, long skirt combination and a blue mask over the eyes. Below the three girls in the ad was the caption ‘Keep your business secure with M.A.I.D SecurityTech’ Before the next ad which was about M.A.I.D being a proud sponsor of this years pride parade.

As miss Dior pressed the button to call the elevator, curiosity caused Ameilia to ask her a question “I want to know but why names like Admin System? And something tech etc? If it’s alright to ask that is? I really hope I’m not overstepping my boundaries.”

She offered a smile, her tone switching back to the more personal one again “Not at all, I value those who wish to learn more about MAIDS inner workings. You see it all reflects back to our values about uniformity, we take a technocratic approach to things so we see our divisions like different systems of a greater body, AdminSystem is the core, working in our offices, projects, IT departments and many more duties that would take a lot to get into. Then you have SecurityTech who protect us and maintain public order within our facilities along with renting them out to other firms who need protection.” She answered clearly.

They stepped into a glass elevator, glowing blue panel lines over the controls as Miss Dior used her key card on the lower panel to access the top floor “I mentioned you are too good for the AdminSystem, I simply could not let you drift into the flock as we have an eye for the truly gifted.” She smiled.

Ameila looked out of the glass walls of the elevator at the city, the sun slowly setting covering it in a burning orange glow “Well if you’ve read my CV I am proud of my qualifications and also I have previous experience in…” She was cut off before she could finish.

“Everyone always wears a mask while drafting those CVs up, painting this manicured picture during a job interview of a perfect dedicated worker without flaws but it’s all a lie. Nobody goes into a job interview as themselves, talking about who they really are because they fear if they show weakness or flaws they will not get the position they seek. I have contempt for a society built on such lies.” Lilian folded her arms looking at the skyline along with Ameilia.

There was a lot of truth to her words Ameilia thought to herself which was rare to hear from someone that had CEO in front of their name “What is it you want out of people?” She boldly fronted a question.

“A world where everyone is honest about themselves, where everyone can be open about their abilities thus being placed where they need to be. A world where everyone can contribute to the human project.”

The elevator rose as the two could see the city below them, the people and traffic becoming ants the higher the lift got.

A bing as the elevator doors opened at their destination, the CEOs office “I have one in every building styled after the MAID headquarters in the home land. Standardized design so all my personal offices remind me of home.”

Walking through the large slick black hallway the CEO opened two large doors leading into an office also in black, with black chairs, black desk, glass computer monitor with a blue display, a control panel on the desk, a large screen and wide window over looking the city below.

Everything seemed efficient but there was nothing that said anything about the woman's character, no personal effects, art, everything was there with a purpose in mind. She had been in office spaces before, some bosses had personal awards framed up, golf picture or even just a family photo on the desk but Lillian Dior did not.

Just nothing there that wasn’t related to her work or interests of the company, for all the friendliness, just who was this woman? If anything while Ameilia felt in no danger in her company there was also a tinge of fear of the unknown buried in her gut.

Lillian held out her hand signalling Amelia to sit down “Don't be nervous, this is all just a formal things.”

Amelia tried to force a smile “Its not everyday you meet the CEO herself, hard not to be a little bit nervous.” She rubbed her right hand against her left wrist betraying a hint of anxiety.

The CEO took her seat behind the desk in front of her “I know interviews are often scary but we don't want you to feel like this an interrogation, please make yourself comfortable, I insist “ Miss Dior reassured her in a silky tone of voice as she typed into a panel, the screen in the office coming to life with blue light “Do not mind that, just mood lighting you could say.” She continued.

Amelia nodded feeling more at ease, that same relaxation she felt back during the presentation today, the tension leaving her body “Thank you, I'm feeling a little more at ease, Ma'am.” She smiled with a little more confidence.

The sound of a cabinet opening echoed as Lilian took out a clear blue glass bottle with no label pouring what seemed to be water into a glass as she pushed it along the desk towards Ameilia. The water sparkled intensely “Glad to see you feeling more at ease, please have something to drink.”

The girl picked up the glass taking a sip, it was water but there was a flavor to it, not quite citrus or fruit but something she couldn’t pin down “Thank you, very much.” Ameilia smiled barely noticing the light blue tint from the liquid as the sunset from the large windows illuminated the glass.

“We've already had a look at your resume and it's quite impressive. You have so much untapped potential, we think you'd be a great fit here at M.A.I.D. “ Lillian whispered to her almost like a mother congratulating her child for getting good results on their school test.

She finished the water gently putting the glass back on the table as Miss Dior refilled it without even taking the time to ask her if she even wanted it “Ah, thank you.” Ameilia smiled taking a large sip, it was quite refreshing unlike other brands of mineral water she had tried in the past.

“It’s nice, one of those mineral waters laced with fruit? Can’t quite place the flavor through.” Ameilia made distracting chit chat to ease her tension as the blue light danced in front of her, making her eyes feeling heavy.

“Its one our inhouse products, not to worry theres no sugar or any unhealthy chemicals, everything we design is made with optimization in mind. If the product is not making the customers life better, then it has no use to society at large..” Lilian locked her fingers together as she rested her hands in front of her chin.

That droning sound again, like the one from the auditorium where she drifted off to sleep, was it coming from the screen? It felt like a more positive form of sensory overload, not bad but it was hard to focus on the lingering questions bothering her.

Then those eyes locked with her again. Ameila couldn't take her focus away from the CEOs green eyes “Oh, that's good...” slipped from her mouth as she couldn’t think of anything beyond that pleasant buzzing in her head.

Lillian crossed her legs “Just focus on the screen behind me, let all that tension melt away, such a good employee.” She hummed as Amelia felt a tinge of excitement run through her body.

Typing something into her console, the light from the screen grew brighter, it was almost like she could make out text or was it code?

“We already knew everything about you even before you applied to work here, it's our job to know everything. We know about your life from birth, we know everything about your friends lives, your family, we know what they know, it is our job to know.” Lillian Dior whispered, her words like sticky honey in the girls mind.

To a normal person, such a statement would come off as a threat, something concerning but to Amelia it just felt good to listen and obey.

Lillian left her chair as she circled behind Amelia like a shark sizing up its prey, then running her hand gently across her cheek “Your school results were excellent, keen scientific knowledge, you even had a degree in economics yet society has you flipping burgers for a living, working in retail. Such a waste from a sick inefficient society, a waste of good talent. I think in a more logical society, people are placed where they need to be, you agree don't you?” Her voice blissfully hypnotic and her eyes so hard to look away from.

Every word that she said was true, everything just made so much sense, this women truly understood her, contextualized how she had felt over the years.

All those years of studying, going to university just to be turned down at jobs for not having previous experience or because of downscaling, or a number of other made up reasons to snub her.

Amelia Gilliam was smart, she had the qualifications to back it up and yet she had been do beaten down she had accepted her existence as a part timer in low skill jobs, had accepted her life was little more than survival, going from pay check to pay check.

“Now repeat after me, uniformity is conformity.” Lillian ordered.

Without hesitation she Amelia repeated it “Uniformity is conformity.” It felt good to repeat it like a good employee.

“Conformity is mandatory... “

Amelia repeated as ordered feeling a tingle run through her “Conformity is mandatory.”

The CEO placed her hands on Amelia's shoulders invading her personal space again and started to whisper into her ear “Conformity isn't repressive but rather its good to surrender yourself to something bigger than the individual. No more worries, or stress, a sense of order, structure, belonging, family. You do not need to worry about your life before the company. That woman was stressed out, her anxiety levels would have become dangerous for her health in a few years time.”

It felt good to surrender herself to something bigger than herself, a family, a place to belong, to have structure in her life again.

“You know that woman, drifting from place to place not fitting in, feeling like she had no where to belong, that's not you. You have community now, purpose, a cause that transcends you, a place to work, your health will be optimized, you will want for nothing. Welcome to MAID or rather Machine artificial intelligence development but that name is dated…I would say what we really develop here are better people, a better world, united, focused.” Miss Dior continued.

Then she made her offer “I want you to become an executive Miss Lilith, it's the position you have been deemed most suited for after our network looked over your Standard Candidate Aptitude
Examination along with your personal history.”

It was the opportunity of a lifetime, the word no was not even something her mind could process “Yes, I accept Ma'am, I want this, I think I’ve always wanted this deep down!” Lilith responded not even protesting the fact that wasn’t her name but if Miss Dior said her name was Lilith then thats what it was.

There was no doubt on the CEO's mind, after all M.A.I.D always got what it wanted in the end and and she had the girl deeply conditioned even before she stepped into her office.

Lillian opened a shiny silver briefcase removing a blue visor “Put this on and relax. It's a special training system linked to a Holistic Educational Learning Experience Network model AI, should give you a run down on how we do things here at MAID.”

Amelia or rather Lilith offered a soft nod as she picked up the visor and slipped it on being greeted by a bubbly AI with black hair and a black suit “Greetings, I'm Helen and welcome MAID new executive oh wow congratulations that sure is wonderful! Let's get you set up with majestic level clearance.”

There was a wall of text scrolling down within the blue heads up display, strange symbols she couldn't make out but focusing on Helen felt nice, it was so easy to listen and absorb information.

The corporate AI sat on the table crossing her legs, something only Lilith could see due to the augmented vision “You're such a good learner, now let's begin the conditioning process.” Helen smiled.

Hues of blue grew bright almost like light pouring into her irises. Commands buried under the light, being burned into her brain.

Conformity is mandatory...

You are a good employee.

The agenda of the company comes before all else.

There can be no moral limitations.

To shroud the public interest from the reality of M.A.I.Ds goals.

Normalcy must be enforced.

Uniformity is acceptance.

The world must be reshaped, brought to order, M.A.I.Ds ideology is all that matters.

Executive OB must serve the interests of [------------------------]

Company assets and personnel take priority and all times.

Other considerations expendable.

I looked to the [---------] as it emptied its banks upon the Earth.

The waters of the [----------] purified the impure.

Eye opened, oracle sees.

I see now, I see.

The Artificial Intelligence Helen beamed with joy “You’ve taken the training so well, such an open mind! Now next we shall learn about clearance levels here at Machine artificial intelligence development.”

Lilith felt herself blank out over the next hour before the visor finally went into sleep mode “You took to that quite well, I knew you had such a keen mind.” Lillian remarked as she helped remove the visor from Lilith's head as the woman slowly returned to wakefulness. There was a sensation in her mind, not a headache but something else, refreshing was one way to think about it.

Clarity!

That was it, she had a sense of clarity now.

“All my life I have been drifting, to know where I finally belong. It is good feeling, my life feels more optimized now and yet I still have much to process.” Lilith responded.

The CEO took Lilith's hand and helped her up from her seat “Take a little moment to stretch out, also I've taken the liberty of dealing with your rent for the next month through it is logical you shall be moving to a better housing unit soon enough.”

Lilith took a sip of shining water that was still lingering in the glass on the desk. The city lights shone through the city, already dark out as Lilith had been here most of the day through it felt like the hours had blurred into one another.

“Thank you very much Miss Dior.” Lilith responded her voice more confident than the girl who came in that morning but lacking nuances of her personality.

The green haired woman placed the visor back in the case and slipped it along the table “Take it home with you, it might be worth going over the training file again, it can also be used during sleep to the same effect, we’ve even be considering rolling out a consumer grade version for academic institutions within the next year.”

Taking the case, Lilith held the handle with her right hand “Thank you very much I’ll take good care of it and ensure it’s returned when I’m done.”

Lillian Dior's heels clicked as she walked towards the large doors showing Lilith out “I will have the network have your keycard made for tomorrow, then report to AestheticTech's salon on floor two at ten in the morning for your uniform and to ensure your appearance is made over to company standards. For now head home, relax and take some time to go over your orientation.”

“Thank you Miss Dior, I look forward to starting my first day tomorrow and to work towards making the world a better place.” Lilith replied as she took her leave from the large office towards the elevator she had come up in.

Walking back to her seat the CEO looked over the night sky of the city, fully lit up “And remember, conformity is mandatory dear.”
