Epilogue

Partisan shuddered as she replaced her namesake on the wall. Though it was a new location, Runetress’s trophy room contained the same layout, and that included the same gold-and-red chair beside the wall mount for Partisan’s weapon. Once it was firmly contained, Partisan’s clothing dissolved, and she sat back in her seat.

Runes rose from the chair, surrounding her wrists and her ankles. She slumped back into the cushions with a heavy sigh. Once she was in place, blue-and-white sigils appeared in front of her eyes.

As before, they fell shut until the runes held them open.

“Can’t… resist…” Partisan let out a tired moan as she forgot her attempted escape. She forgot how empty her owner’s lair had been. She forgot how it had felt to regain her freedom. She only remembered her mantra. “Too… soft…”

The light above perfectly illuminated the sweat that glistened across Partisan’s naked skin, her pussy shuddering and twitching. She was just as exposed as before. It was such a pleasure to be back in her chair to obey the commands to forget everything she’d seen and been, to return to a mindless, obedient doll that did nothing but chant to itself in a waking slumber.

She might rest like that for days, or weeks, or months. Runetress might come and visit her when she was done playing with her new acquisition, or she might forget about her altogether. Partisan didn’t care either way.

Either way, she would obey, and that was all that mattered.

“Can’t… fight… Can’t… think…” Partisan let out a sigh of bliss, her eyes struggling to fall shut even as the runes kept them helplessly open.

She was wholly unaware as identical women, clad all in black, brought in a new golden chair. The cushions were violet instead of red, and the chair was overall smaller, but the shape and design were otherwise identical to Partisan’s.

“Yes, I think keeping the two of you together for the contrast will make my collection look even more perfect…” Runetress hooded her eyes, purring with a quiet little sigh. “You always bring me exactly what I want… Good girl, Partisan. You’re my favorite reach weapon… even if I’m pretty sure you’d be easily outclassed by a halberd…”

“C-can’t… resist…” Partisan could hear Runetress, but the magic was still washing away her memories. It wouldn’t be long before she would only be able to remember her time in the trophy room, mindlessly staring at the same floating sigils as before. “Too… soft…”

Runetress laughed, her full lips curled into a wicked grin, her golden eyes hooding low as she watched her Partisan and the placement of her newest decoration.

“Can’t… fight…” Partisan no longer remembered being sent to fetch Clara. She no longer remembered anything but the sigils before her eyes. If she were to accomplish any other task but sitting on display, she would need her owner’s assistance.

The woman sitting in the gold-and-red chair was far too simple to do anything on her own.

“Can’t… think…”

Looking at her, it was hard to imagine that she’d only recently sat in her chair. She looked as though she’d been locked away for a thousand years in an uninterrupted sleep.

Nothing that Runetress or her servants did disturbed the chanting heroine, and as they left, she was once again left alone to a wakeful, obedient slumber. Her lips moved. Her voice repeated the same words again and again.

Partisan slept.

Patricia was once again unnecessary, resting until she might be called forth to serve the woman who bound her in eternal servitude.

Author's Note: Perhaps Partsian was never free at all... but it seems like it all worked out well in the end. Partisan, Cuirass... both of them seem like Runetress should be well kept by Runetress. I hope you Partisan is free, but what will come from that? What has happened to Runetress? If you'd like to see more of this story now, it's already up on my Patreon! If you'd like to see it now?
