Ginny is Phillip’s genie. Alas, Phillip really doesn’t want a bratty genie knocking around the house.

"Well, Dave," chuckled Phillip as he walked into the living room. "I think we showed him why he shouldn't question us!"

"Right!" Chuckled Dave as he slapped Phillip on the back. "Damn money men wouldn't know about quality if it hit them in the face."

"Beer?" Asked Phillip as he pulled open his liquor cabinet and reached inside.

"I won't say no." Replied Dave.

Just behind Phillip, another door opened slightly as a piece of blue silk dangled through the crack. However, neither Phillip nor Dave noticed this as they were far too occupied with their conversation.

"Lager or IPA?" Asked Phillip as he looked up from the drink's cabinet.

"Lager," nodded Dave without thinking.

Phillip looked around in the cupboard for a few minutes before sighing. "Bad news fella. I'm all out."

"Don't worry about it," shrugged Dave. As he did this, a soft twinkling sound whispered around the room. Almost as if a harp was dancing on the wind.

Suddenly a load of bottles fell out of the cabinet, knocking Phillip onto his back. Several of the bottles smashed as the torrent of glass continued to flow out of the small cupboard, burying Phillip in a load of bottles.

Dave looked down at the puddle and the pile of bottles. "I," he started, only for his voice to trail off.

"Guess I did have some." Laughed Phillip awkwardly as he lifted one of the bottles towards Dave.

"Thanks," replied Dave as he took the bottle and stepped back a little bit. Keen to avoid the slowly expanding puddle of beer.

Phillip wiggled under the bottles. The chinking of glass grew louder as he slowly pulled himself out of the mess of glass and spilled beer. "I should get a towel and mop that up," nodded Phillips as he stumbled towards the partially opened door.

Dave walked over to the couch and sat down. Letting out a sigh as he started to sip his beer.

Phillip walked into the other room. Only to be instantly accosted by a woman clad in various silks. "Master!" Cheered the woman. "I got the beer for you!"

"Ginny! I didn't want that many!" Whispered Phillip firmly. "You could have just made one! I didn't need the entire factory!"

"I wanted you to have fun!" Huffed Ginny as she stamped her foot. As she did, all of her silks bounced a little bit.

"Fun is one beer. A pile of glass and a ruined carpet is not fun. Now, I need to clean that up." Grumbled Phillip.

"On it!" Cheered Ginny as she crossed her arms.

"No!" Shouted Phillip.

"But," replied Ginny as she uncrossed her arms.

"Dave is in the other room! I brought him here for a nice, relaxed evening."

"Not cleaning is relaxing!" Smiled Ginny as she crossed her arms again.

"No!" Replied Phillip firmly. "He will notice a load of bottles suddenly vanishing into thin air!"

"But," started Ginny, only for Phillip to interrupt her.

"I'm going to clean it. Normally."

"Yes Master," sighed Ginny as she stomped over to the sink.

Phillip sighed as she grabbed a towel and walked back into the living room. He made sure to close the door behind him before bending over and starting to mop up the spilled beer.

However, the second the cloth touched the beer, all of the glass turned into a liquid. "What the," mumbled Phillip. Before he could react the liquid glass flowed into the cloth.

"You okay?" Asked Dave as he turned around.

"Yes!" Shouted Phillip. "I'm fine! I just cut my finger!" He added as he laughed nervously.

"Wow you cleaned that up fast," blinked Dave as he realized that the pile of beer was now gone.

"I'm very efficient!"

"Right," nodded Dave. "Either way I better go."

"Why?" Blurted out Phillip, only to cringe as Dave gave him a confused look.

"Because I have places to be? Bowling league."

"Bowling!" Laughed Phillip awkwardly as he tried to cover for his panic. "Yes! Get a strike! Win the league!"

"Right, yeah." Nodded Dave as he walked out of the house.

As the door clicked closed Phillip rubbed his brow and let out a sigh. "We've got to stop doing this." He mumbled.

A soft ping echoed through the room as Ginny appeared next to Phillip, causing him to jump sideways and crash into the wall.

"Ginny!"

"Yes, Master?" Smiled Ginny.

"I've told you not to do that! It scares me!"

"Oh!" Giggled Ginny. "But walking is so slow and hard to do."

"But if you keep teleporting around you're going to get yourself discovered! Same if you keep using magic when people are around. Dave must be onto you!"

"So?" Whined Ginny as she disappeared for a few seconds only to reappear on the arm of the couch.

"If people know I have a genie, they'll come and take you!" Groaned Phillip. "We've been over this."

"But Master!" Smiled Ginny. "I can change that!"

"Magic isn't the answer."

"Magic is always the answer!" Giggled Ginny as she waved her hands in the air before snapping her fingers.

"What did you just do?" Shouted Phillip as he ran over to Ginny.

"Nothing!" Chuckled Ginny, obviously lying.

Suddenly, the phone started to ring. Phillip rolled his eyes and pointed at Ginny. "Once this is done you have to tell me," sighed Phillip as he walked over to the phone and picked it up.

"Hi!" Said Dave's voice over the line. "I just want to say you don't own a genie. You don't own a genie. You don't own a genie. You don't own a genie," repeated Dave over and over.

Phillip covered the receiver and turned to glare at Ginny. "Ginny! Stop this now!"

"But I fixed it!" Whined Ginny.

"This isn't," said Phillip, only for a knock at the door to interrupt him. Phillip let out an angry murmur before quickly walking over to the door and pulling it open.

To Phillip's surprise, his boss would stand outside the door with a blank look in his eyes.

"Lieutenant Greeves!" gasped Phillip as he quickly saluted. "To what do I owe this honor? I hope everything is okay in the Greeves household?"

"Hello, everything is fine. I'm just here to say that you don't own a genie. You don't own a genie. You don't own a genie," chanted the Lieutenant as Phillip turned around and marched over to Ginny.

"Stop this! This isn't appropriate!"

"Why not?" Asked Ginny as she put her finger to her lips. "They don't care anymore."

"But we don't know what else your magic will do! You can't change reality! Who knows what knock-on effects it would have!"

"Nothing! Magic is totally safe! Nothing has ever gone wrong!"

"Are you sure?" Sighed Phillip as the Lieutenant's chanting continued to echo around the room.

"Totally!"

"Do you have proof?"

"No?" Gasped Ginny. "Why do I need proof? I'm right?"

"But, I," mumbled Phillip before letting out a sigh and rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Please make it stop."

"Fine." Sighed Ginny. "If you insist," she added as she snapped her fingers. The lieutenant instantly stopped speaking as the expression vanished from his face. He turned on his heel and started to walk away from the house as Phillip sighed.

"Right." Nodded Phillip. "That will do. I guess." He said as he walked to the phone, only to find that Dave had hung up. He put the phone back into the cradle before walking over to the couch and sitting down.

"Wasn't that fun Master?" Smiled Ginny.

"No." Replied Phillip firmly. "Not in the slightest."

"Come on. Just let me use a little bit of magic!" Smiled Ginny. "I can make everything good for you Master."

"Look, I don't want to use magic," sighed Phillip. "I didn't even want you to come home with me! You smuggled yourself into my bag!"

"Because you were so wonderful! And this place is way more exciting than that island I was stuck on!" Continued Ginny.

"Doesn't mean I requested a genie as a roommate!" Shouted Phillip, slowly losing his patience with Ginny.

"It isn't that bad! I can give you anything you want!" Giggled Ginny.

"I don't want anything!" Sighed Phillip. "I just want to not worry that every government agency from here to the Moon is going to kick the door down to drag you off."

"They won't!" Replied Ginny. "They can't," she added with a sinister smirk.

"If they find out," started Phillip. "They're not going to take no for an answer."

"Nope!" Smiled Ginny as she snapped her fingers. Phillip gasped, but before he could say anything the phone started to ring again.

"What did you do?" Shouted Phillip as she grabbed the phone. "Hello."

"Hello, this is the head of the FBI," said a voice from the other end of the line. "We would like to confirm that you don't have an alien on the premises. And we won't be investigating you. Also, please accept a free tax rebate. On the house."

"I." Sighed Phillip. "Ginny!"

"See! I fixed the problem!" Grinned Ginny. "I fix all of your problems!"

"No, you don't! You create problems and then create more problems while attempting to fix the problems " Shouted Phillip as he put the phone up and grabbed another beer.

"But I don't cause problems!" Giggled Ginny. "I make things great for my Master!"

"I've told you, I don't like you calling me that." Mumbled Phillip.

"But what you asked me to call you isn't as good."

"Because you refuse to say it." Replied Phillip as he sipped his beer.

"Fine. Whatever you say, my boss who respects me and pays me a living wage for the services I render to the household." Said Ginny sarcastically.

"Much better. Now you should let me pay you a wage" Nodded Phillip.

"No! You're my Master! I exist to serve you!" Whined Ginny.

"You do not! You smuggled yourself into my house!" Replied Phillip.

"So? That is good enough!" Smiled Ginny. "You're my Master now as you opened my bottle! That is all that matters!"

"I don't like these rules!"

"Well, you make the rules Master!" Smiled Ginny as she fluttered her eyelashes.

"Then I'm not your Master! You're free to seek employment wherever you wish and simply be my roommate." Nodded Phillip.

"Not that rule. You don't get to set that one."

"But you said."

"I know what I said. But I didn't mean all the rules. Just most of them," smiled Ginny. "I can't change everything."

"You don't seem to be restricted." Glared Phillip.

"Well, I don't go into details!" Smirked Ginny as she fiddled with her hair. "Genie law is complex!"

"I have a feeling you're making it up as you go along." Added Phillip.

"I could never lie to you Master!" Grinned Ginny.

"I've seen you lie to me. You've done it several times this weekend."

"Fine, I can't usually lie to you." Corrected Ginny. "Unless it's for your own good. Then I'm allowed to do it!"

"I'm not a fan of this setup," sighed Phillip.

A sudden knock on the door pulled Phillip from his thoughts. He looked at Ginny and then towards the door. After a few more knocks he shrugged and walked to the door and pulled it open.

A blonde woman was standing outside the door. "Erica," gaped Phillip. "I'm sorry! I didn't expect you to be turning up."

"You should be Ginny's Master!" Grinned Erica as she clapped her hands. "Be Ginny's master! You'll love it! You'll love it way more than trying to date me!"

"Ginny!" Shouted Phillip.

"Please don't date me. Date Ginny. Be her Master!" Smiled Erica as several other girls appeared at the door.

"Command Ginny! Boss her around!" The girls chanted in unison as they started to force Phillip back into the house.

"Hey! Hey! Ginny! Stop this!" Shouted Phillip.

"Command Ginny! Boss her around! Be her Master! Boss her around!" Chanted the girls as they continued to guide Phillip back towards the living room.

"But I don't want to!" Shouted Phillip.

"Boss her around! Do it!" Shouted Erica as Ginny bounced on the couch. "Don't date me. Boss Ginny around!"

"Do it!" Smiled Ginny!

"I just want to pay you a fair wage! It's all I want! I don't want to be your Master!" Shouted Phillip.

Ginny sighed and snapped her fingers, causing Erica and the other woman to suddenly vanish. "So. If I let you pay me a fair wage. You'll actually be my Master?"

"Sure." Groaned Phillip.

"Okay! It's a deal!" Smiled Ginny.

"A deal? Really?"

"Yep!" Nodded Ginny. "You can pay me a living wage!"

"I'll get my checkbook!" Nodded Phillip as he moved towards the stairs. However, before he could get too far, Ginny snapped her fingers.

Phillip turned and glared at Ginny. "What did you do?" He asked.

"I cast a spell!" Grinned Ginny.

"To do what?"

"Now everyone in the world thinks that "living wage" means dominating your genie!" Smiled Ginny.

"You what?"

"I said! Spell!" Grinned Ginny.

"But. My. Stocks." Groaned Phillip as he fell to his knees.

"Don't worry!" Smiled Ginny.

Suddenly a man appeared at the door in a business suit. "Excuse me, Sir. I'm from the US treasury, we're going to need you to dominate your genie if at all possible? The stock market rather does depend on it."

"Ginny!" Shouted Phillip.

"I don't make the rules!" Grinned Ginny.

"Change this back now!" Screamed Phillip.

"How about," giggled Ginny. "No?"

"But, you said," started Phillip. However, before he could finish Ginny snapped her fingers. Instantly Phillip's eyes turned white as his body stiffened.

"Ginny." Said Phillip in monotone.

"Yes, Master?" Replied Ginny as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Go to the kitchen right now! I have chores for you to do!" Shouted Phillip in a forced and robotic tone.

"Yes, Master!" Beamed Ginny as she jumped up from the couch and ran to the kitchen.
