Prompt: "Overtime"

Product Testing

I closed my eyes. That would block the subliminal flashes from the visor, but the headphones would be enough for this test anyways. And the dildo that kept pounding inside of me felt way too nice not to relax.

Immediately after I got comfortable, the lights turned on. I held back a groan and opened my eyes.

Miss Barnes was in the room, holding a microphone.

"Hey Hannah, sorry to interrupt. Everything's going okay so far ?" her voice beamed directly into my ears.

I nodded. I would have answered, but my mouth was packed full with foam and the water dripper.

"Great. So, the CPSC just called, and they want a full twelve hours of testing instead of just six. So, you're in for some overtime !"

She was smiling. I wasn't. Twelve hours, this meant I'd go home past Midnight.

I shot her a glare, and shook my head no.

"Aww, don't be like that. We're lucky enough to have this thing approved for consumer sale at all. We've got no choice !"

I tried to struggle in protest, but the bindings held.

"So, yeah, see you tonight !" she waved.

She clicked the lights off, and left the room.

Notes:

Too many ideas, wayy too few words. It's definitely an answer I'd have loved to have more time to explore, because it barely scratches the surface of what could be done. Still, I think it manages to create the setting fairly well, and explore the idea at least a little bit.

Fun fact, if you want to get a sex toy on the market today, you don't need any approval from a federal agency and all. And I think that would apply to sex toy that brainwashes you too. Yes, I researched that when writing this answer. So getting CPSC approval is unnecessary, and you don't need to kidnap your employees for 12 hours in order to test your hardware ! (well, you don't have to, but if they ask nicely...)

Inspiration-wise, it's actually from a fairly old captionned image by Frombeyond that can be found here. Looking back on it today, I'm not a fan of everything about that caption, but the main themes are still top notch.
