I am slowly but surely getting caught up!

I shook the water off my hands, then dried the residual dampness off with the towel hanging next to the bathroom door before returning to the living room where we had been playing a board game.
You didn’t notice my re-entry to the room, and, upon seeing what you were up to, I decided to hang in the doorway as quietly as I could to see just how far into trouble you were going to get yourself. You knew that what you were doing was forbidden, and you were going to get into big trouble.
Honestly, I was impressed. With the suggestions I’d given you, you shouldn’t have even been able to pick up my phone without permission. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how you’d managed to flip my phone over without the use of your hands, which would stop working as soon as the thought to snoop in my phone without permission entered your mind, but you’d figured something out.
With the way your head was bobbing (which, of course, reminded me of other times that your head had made the same motions), I figured you were using your nose to navigate my phone. It was cute, really.
I knew exactly what you were looking for, and I knew that I would know as soon as you found it.
As expected, your shoulders slumped, your eyes glazed over, and you let out an adorable little exhale-slash-moan as you slipped into trance.
Exactly as you were programmed to do if you broke this rule.
It was time to make my presence known.
“And what trouble have we gotten ourselves into now, pet?”
Deep in trance, you responded automatically.
“Please punish your pet for breaking the rules.”
“And which rule did my pet break?”
“I looked in your email when I wasn’t supposed to.”
“And why is that against the rules?”
“Because I’ll find out what you got me for my birthday on my birthday, and not a moment sooner.”
“Very good, pet.” I snapped my fingers. “Now wake.”
You blinked a few times.
“So. What did I order you for your birthday?”
Your eyes glazed over again automatically. Exactly as you were programmed.
“I’ll find out what you got me for my birthday on my birthday, and not a moment sooner.”
“Veeeeeery good.”
Yeah, if you've read my stuff regularly, you knew this was going to either be super dark or super wholesome xD
